Title: Are there any successful memecoins on the not Ethereum blockchain?
Post by: cryptoknows on November 28, 2021, 09:40:15 AM
Hi guys! I'm not a memecoin holder because I don't really believe in the upside potential of these coins (which often turn out to be a scam). And this cryptocurrency market bypassed me in 2019-20. And now, buying a new memcoin on the ethereum network will cost me a fortune, because the risks + gwei price leave much to be desired. But my question is not about that.

Most often, such coins appear on decentralized swaps such as UNI, 1inch, where investment in such projects is simply outrageous.

What can you advise me on where to find cheap new, interesting meme coins? Perhaps there are many of them on the BSC or Sol network? Perhaps similar projects also appear on other blockchains, which allow transactions to be carried out instantly without huge commissions. For example Near or TRX?

P.S. Memecoin Newbie

It depends on what you describe as successful. If having $40 million mc or so is good enough then there are a ton of them on BSC. Most of the time though, these kind of projects just launch on the cheaper and most popular network when they launch, or launch on multiple chains at the same time.

Am not a fan of meme coin, and I don't take part in it, am here for the tech & money, meme coins is a lot risky to me because only the early birds benefits from it, so it's better to invest on potential projects, or follow the new trend which is in metaverse token, that will be a lot better, to me the time of meme coins has passed and now gaming coin is taking the lead.

Talking about blockchains I did choose $Near over TRX, they both got low fees and all the rest but $Near has proved to be better, DYOR and you would understand what I mean. The  BSC network used to be my favourite but currently fees are increasing. That's why I think  $Near is better, because with them implementing sharding fees can never spike even tho it's got mass adoption.

To be honest, I have not met meme coins on the Tron network, what about NEAR, then there are a couple of meme coins, but they are unlikely to be suitable for speculation, these are mainly coins made by the community for the community, transactions in NEAR are very cheap, and people are just in  jokingly send each other these coins.  I think most of all meme coins now appear in BSC because this network is now very popular and compared to Ethereum, the commissions are quite cheap, and also BSC has a well-developed ecosystem and there are many launchpads and dex that will gladly list your "meme coin"

It's caused by those meme tokens can't be listed on exchange site instantly.

You should move from ethereum blockchain. The majority of meme tokens were getting deployed in the BSC chain and they are moving from ethereum due to the non sense fees. If you wanna find a new meme token that being launched in the market and BSC is your answer. It will always be launched on pancake swap. The fees on ethereum blockchain is not affordable anymore by the small traders.

Yes for BSC but i rarely see that on SOL network. Forget about near and TRX. These were bad blockchains.

Near would be great choice for any tokens as far it's getting more adoption and it won't be a good idea to invest into those memecoins until market's in bullish mode. So invest which can be afforded to lose. BTW, other EVM chain's are also getting hypes and many memecoins are launching on those like avalance or fantom, OP could monitor that as well. Just DYOR and invest at your own risk as market's still volatile and memecoins would give that much roi without hype/trend.  ;)

Dogecoin, the most successful meme coin out there is not running on the eth blockchain and it has been around for years. You are probably confusing coins with tokens. Tokens don't have their own block chain therefore they operate on some other project's blockchain. Coins on the other hand, they have their own chain, like Doge. I know the difference is not important to most people but I still think it is something you should be aware of.

I don't plan on having any meme coins and if I have one today in any means perhaps through an airdrop, I will sell it as soon as they pump it. My reason is that they will become abandoned.
Because Shiba and Doge had a successful blast and high rate of purchase doesn't mean others will survive in longer term. The reason why Doge even survive was due to it been a unique blockchain that catch the interest of Elon and his army.
If you are new to meme coins, avoid them instantly.
