What you can do is wait until the network fee becomes lower, and usually it will go down when the ETH price also drops but it is very possible that the price of the token you want to withdraw will also go down because the price of the token based on eth will depend on the price movement of the core coin, don't to hurry there might be changes because the crypto world is full of surprises

Withdrawn tokens from the wallet to the exchange. Gas went up and my transaction got stuck. Later I forgot about it. After about a couple of weeks, the tokens were gone. The price dropped and everything worked. So you just have to wait, otherwise, there is no point in working to zero.

Check the price of gas and sell when the network is not crowded, but if you send and the transaction is confirmed, it is difficult/impossible to get your money back.
Generally, when you broadcast the transaction, your options are limited, so if you are not in a hurry, there is no need to send the transaction.

In the future, you can use 2 layer network (Polygon) if you want to send at a lower cost.

You can send your money right now but you will have paid up to 30 - 40 bucks for the transaction fees. I was taking this as my reference. https://etherscan.io/gastracker

is there hope to get my money back one day?
There's no hope you get your back your money until ethereum 2.0 will be fully implemented and the scalability update will fix the problem that faced by ethereum blockchain. You may need to wait until the end of next year to be able to get back your money but that's only estimation. It can also be delayed until 2023. So forget it.

Its unlikely that gas fees will go much lover then now. The best you can do is to monitor https://etherscan.io/gastracker and make your transaction when gas will be the lowest. I am afraid that we wont see low gas until next bear market but by then together with fees, your investment will also tank.
I would suggest you just leave that 50 $ and forget about it until ETH 2.0 comes out and by then it will be worth more then now.

The transaction fee on ethereum has been high for a while now, but that's not how it had always been. There was a time when we could send eth with less than 1 cent as the gas price was like 1 Gwei. I know that the ethereum developers are working on modalities to bring the value of ethereum spent on transactions to how it was initially.

Don't worry, you can still get your money back in the future. for now you can only wait until the GAS fee is cheaper. until then, nothing can be done. You can only hope that when the fee is cheap, the price of the tokens you have is still the same as today. I also feel the same as you. I have lots of ERC20 tokens and want to sell them now. but the fee is not worth what I get, so I can only wait and give up now.

Yes.

Just wait until the gas fees drop.

It's all you need to do and just be patient because one day the fees will be down again. But to know when, it'll be a mystery since no one knows when the whole network upgrade will happen.

I know the dilemma I have one token coming from a bounty campaign that I want to trade but sending it to exchange will cost me $20 and that token price is only worth $30 not really worth it, I'll just wait for a fix coming to Ethereum, or I'll just wish and wait for that token to pump so I have a good reason to spend $20, this is one of the reasons why many are staying away from new projects coming from Ethereum.

For now, ETH gas fee is very expensive,
You just wait till eth gas fee down
I hope, after upgrade to eth 2.0 , eth gas fee become cheap

If you send ethereum to another wallet then the gas fee is only about $15, maybe you want to send an ERC-20 token and indeed the transaction fee is around $50, there is nothing we can do, maybe we just hope the presence of ETH 2 which is reported to reduce gas costs.

This is actually his best shot to lessen the transaction fee but the main question is what's the token he is currently holding. If the token is in top 100 MC then he can easily sell it on marketplace here via P2P but if its a random shitcoin then it's considered as waste token. I bought a lot of ERC20 tokens before via P2p and it gives me tons of profit but this time transaction fee is the main concern so only few traders consider buying P2P considering transaction. Since both buyer and seller will pay transaction so technically they are paying almost the same as its value

Ethereum gas fee for transaction is really annoying and heartbreaking. If you are going to send from your wallet to any exchange or contract address it costs a lot . Your $50 is just for gas fee. But sad to say that we can't do nothing but to wait patiently until one day ETH gas fee drop.

Sure there is but nobody said it will be easy.

You just need to wait and keep an eye on the Ethereum gas fees, you can do so here https://ethgasstation.info/ until is low enough for you to withdraw.

As you can imagine it it one of those things you either try or leave it be. With gas fees through the roof ETH is dropping in popularity as you can imagine nobody is a fan of paying hundreds in fees for transaction values smaller than that...

If the status is still pending, then the transaction is still in process, and it has been explained by all members in this thread that the money will be received one day. However, if after waiting for a long time, and then the status change to failed, then the money (the value sent) will return to the original wallet while the used eth for gas fee will not be returned.

I would say the same, very annoying! It's why I don't use that Ethereum and all ETH tokens anymore! Simply there's no point in using them if you are an "ordinary" person, I didn't get rich on some token and I got sick from those high fees!

Well, I have some tokens stuck on some wallets, I simply don't wish to pay that high fee anymore! So, that will stay there locked and one day (if that day comes) with lower fees I will move my tokens and sell them, maybe some of them will worth more than now!

Lol! Yes, Gas fees is very high right now. I am stopped trading in ETH beacsue of such high fees. But good days will be here soon with ETH 2.0 upgrade. Once the ETH algorithm moves to POS from POW, the gas fees are expected to come down heavily.

However, seeing the history of delays, I don't think we will see it happening this side of the year. Possibly you will be able to withdraw your ETH by the mid of next year.

The only chance to get this money is to wait until the gas price drops to an acceptable cost. This is rare, but it happens, you need to catch this moment. There is no other way. You are not alone in facing this challenge.

But there are no other options for a solution right now. I sent my tokens yesterday and the commission was about $30.Track the price of gas on monitoring and there will be a chance to send your tokens for about 15-20 dollars, but it won't be long. This opportunity will be used by all those who have small balances, so be prepared.

There is hope if the greed of the miners becomes less. In a falling market commissions can be much lower, you have to wait.

Looking at the amount of money you are going to withdraw, it is unlikely that it will be as much as half from total I think, as we all know gas fees for ETH are expensive, let's say between $20-$80 per transaction, so sadly, I will say your money means nothing if you pull out because it is consumed by high transaction costs.
Maybe in the future there will be a new policy regarding what you are experiencing, we'll just have to wait.

You are lucky if you spend at least 1599$ gas fee. Gas dao project looking Legit amd they will airdrop to all those wallet which spend at least 1599$ gas fee.
I am not eligible for this. I spend low cost than required.

Too bad you need to wait for the network to decongest and lower the fees. It is frustrating and I feel you, It also happened to me and the least I can do is wait. Sad to say the coins was USDC and I was just messing and sending it to my trust wallet, but then when I want to get it back, the fees are more than what my USDC is valued so I just let it stayed for months and maybe for years if the gas fees don't go down.

For how long will the OP gonna wait for the network to decongest? If their is the need to use some funds urgently, imagine the amount of gas fee needed for transactions equalling the amount of coin in the wallet, the cost of ethereum gas transactions has become very high and unaffordable these days, no thanks to it scalability issues, it's high time ETH developers find a lasting solution to the high cost of gas fees else new developers will shun their network and divert their projects to other cheaper and faster networks like BSC, TRON e.t.c

I think this is possible in this time which Ethereum community decide to transection the Ethereum ges fee is low then compare to this time because this time many people have a Ethereum token but people cannot sell there token because they sell there token so the price of token is lower then they pay a ges fee so i advice everyone hold there token.

Gas fees fluctuate most of the time the only thing is you need to keep an eye on the Gas fee. Generally, Gas fees do not remain the same for the whole day so keep checking it I hope you would get a chance to withdraw on fewer Gas fees.

No way dude, except you wait for some occasions of low activities when people transact less maybe due to prolong downward trend. Regrettably, trading on Ethereum network has shifted to the rich traders. I do occasionally trade there when it's most necessary I do so, it makes no sense paying huge fees but ETH2.0 promises to deal with this.

Same question I ask everyday mate, I have alot of tokens and some NFTs I bought on uniswap and opensea respectively through Ethereum blockchain when the network fees were still very minimal, but today, I can't sell those tokens as the transaction fees on uniswap are even more than my tokens worth, neither can I even withdraw my staked NFTs as transaction fee to withdraw is over a thousand dollars worth of eth, and I will still have to pay another huge fee to sell if I managed to successfully withdraw my NFTs from the staking pool.

Ethereum network is totally broken and only the super rich can make use of it at the moment.

I can't imagine paying $50 for just a single transaction as based on my previous transactions it only just cost less than $15. But if that really happens to you, I think you don't need to move it and the last option is for you to wait until the gas fee will decrease. It is really hard to imagine how it goes like that and that to move only $50 is not worthy anymore, I'd rather save my additional $50 if that is so.
I believe this is a common issue in the market today and I hope this could get attention to Vitalik and help this thing out and make a long-term solution as earlier as possible.
