If I end up there are many to help you out, BTCeware your activity should not be under bounties.

You can just look for 1 or 2 posts to merit. After you have received 7 merits, you have sent 1 smerit, it is remaining only 2, creating topic like this is not called for. Find one or two users to merit. You can do merit giveaway if you have over 20 merits and more, not when you have just 2.

Some people like to create this type of topic because they are looking to earn more merits, if you want more merits, try to read than you post and understand this forum better.

No problem friends like you are here to help me out later if I ended up giving my whole bunch of merits.

Lol...Your observations is absolutely correct, because op Smerit is not  even up to fifteen (15) but he wants to do merit giveaway, let it be plain that is hurting for more merit to rank up to a member, maybe the user have intension to support some other people achievement, but the Smerit Merit he secured is too low and it should not be what requires to create a thread.

I am worried how you get 800 merits while doing these kind of crap posting?

I laugh until I drop. This dude is just a godsend with his gags. Sometimes such eccentrics are needed to defuse all everyday problems.
Every day he surprises me with his antics. But if we talk about merit, then he helps to get merit to those who respond to his "jokes". I have handed out a few merits only in his themes.

Then let me ask you a question what is this thread for?. If you say it's a merit giveaway then how many users will receive merits from you 1or 2? Do you think that you can give 1 merit to every newbie who comments in this thread? What if 10  newbies qualified for your rules then what should you do?
I think this is not the right time to make this thread if you want to create a merit giveaway then should keep your merits on hold until it is enough to support your giveaway thread.

Hey OP! Just visit this thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5093271.0) and drop some of your posts if you think your post deserves some merits. Merit giveaway hasn't been encouraging lately. If you create a merit giveaway thread with only 3 smerits then definitely other users will laugh and insult you. Don't give the opportunity to people laughing at you. Just spread your smerit where you think to do so. Just help them if you like.

Suggesting lock the thread from the lower left. Just become more mature then you will realize when you should open merit giveaway thread.

Here is the thread for newbies, if you feel any of your thread deserve merit just drop the link by following others.

Am sorry to say but I believe this thread is not really necessary, I believe there are already threads like this already. Do you know what you will have done I believe you will have seen a post will is written by a newbie and it has benefited you, then you can just share your merit to then randomly if you notice there post worth it.

How many newbies have you given merit so far? Those you have given merit do not fit into your proposed requirements. I wish you well in your endeavors to circulate merit to newbies. I believe merit should be earned in some way
