Title: [SCAM ACCUSATION] - BladeHeart Plagiarized Whitepaper
Post by: Stalker22 on December 05, 2021, 03:05:38 PM
What happened: Plagiarized Whitepaper and Website Content. The content was copy-pasted (with some minimal content spinning) from Gaia Everworld Whitepaper. No references to the source.

I noticed there was a similar report against OP on the previous ANN he published before this one, but he ignored it and no action was done against him, implying that he cannot be trusted in any manner because he enjoys receiving money from scam projects in order to make an ANN for them on BTT. Before I take any action against Op, I'll give him 24 hours to do the needful.

Warning: Thread creator is not associated with the project in any manner. Thread will be taken down if reported discrepancies.

I go to this project whitepaper, I found something that usually happens. I see the whitepaper of this project is same as a project that called by Bitcoin E-Currency (BTCE)....]

Bitcoin E-Currency (BTCE) Whitepaper chace version : Whitepaper (https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:89ah6xgW7o0J:https://decremist.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/btce.pdf+&cd=16&hl=id&ct=clnk&gl=us)
and in the whitepaper, written the date is 2/28/2021, which I'm sure it's more than old than Hashbit.

Hashbit Whitepaper : Whitepaper (https://hashbit.org/HBIT_white_paper.pdf)
The whitepaper is write in 10/25/2021

Yeah. I see that he failed to include a disclaimer on this one, and as for the other projects, there seems to be more suspicions that need to be investigated. I will have to take a closer look when I have more time.

Besides plagiarizing the content of the whitepaper, the graphic elements used on the BladeHeart website and in the ANN topic seem to be also stolen from external sources.

Even if they did buy all of these items from Unreal Engine Marketplace, I find it hard to believe they would use demo renderings for their promotional materials.

If they could pass off another project's whitepaper as their own, then these photos were very likely stolen as well, because those assets are still for sale on the Unreal Engine Marketplace, implying that no one has ever purchased them. Is it possible that photos aren't taken down after they've been sold?

There's a lot of NTF and video game nonsense out there these days, and this is just one of them.
