Title: Simple Question - Where/What are the Discord/Telegram groups pushing low alts?
Post by: polaris409 on December 05, 2021, 07:29:37 PM
So I was discussing this with a friend of mine and came to the conclusion there are some obvious discord/telegram groups out there that are used for some real in-depth discussion of speculation alt coins and I am trying to find where they are.

I will always love this board because this board is what convinced me to buy NEO and BNB when they first hit the scene ($4-$5) and we see them today.

I am simply looking for some solid options for me to provide input and also receive input for those coins that very long term plays for your portfolio.

Range = .00000XX. - $5 max!!

Im not sure about this but there are a bunch of trading groups in telegram but remember that it's not all of these groups are legit. You can try to join in sz's group. I thought that there are a bunch of good traders there. They were also discussing about the new tokens or coins that were launched. There was also a group called icodrop which was always discussing the hidden gem

I will always love this board because this board is what convinced me to buy NEO and BNB when they first hit the scene ($4-$5) and we see them today.
Glad to see that and are you still holding all of your coins or not? If you're still holding all of your assets and then you may become the next millionaire.

I am subscribed to some telegram and youtube channels, but I don't think that they are exactly what you are looking for. I get to know about recent news and about different upcoming projects and ICOs, IDOs, airdrops there.
As for my portfolio, I have some low price coins such as Tron and tokens of some gaming and NFT projects, but I can't say that I made a right choice when I invested in them.

Range = .00000XX. - $5 max!!

First of all ... price of token does not matter. What matters is price * supply. You can create project with 1000 tokens, you can create project with 1 000 000 000 000 000 000 tokens. Compering project by single coin price is the biggest mistake you can make in crypto.

difference between 1$ coin and 1000$ coin (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3987913.msg37787537#msg37787537)

There's several tokens promoting vey high supply but cheap in value, they're creating a lots of telegram group which spammed in my inbox right now.
Sometimes it entered within an unknown invitation which sometimes annoying to see, worst cases scammers radically contact me for unknown purpose trying to be legit.
Most low volume alts has no definite chances to soar, but depends on how their devs could take it to the next level using telegram and discord platform in order to generate better outcome for every new alt projects.

This is already understood. I was putting the baseline on the top $$ I am looking for. Obviously I will do my own research and check supply but that doesn't change the fact that I don't want to spend anything more than $5 per coin.

All those groups, free or paid. Are just pump and dump scam groups. They post some low cap coin which they already own and then they pump it on the channel. Tons of people buy and it might pull a 20-500% move while the  pump group already sold. And there is somebody left holding the bag.

Usually the ones who get in early and get out quick profit but most of the people end up holding the bag which ends up becoming worthless. You won’t find any hidden gems that go 100x in those groups. I would stay away.

Its definitely not "already understood" if, after my post and linked topic, you still don't want to spend "anything more than 5$ per coin" ...

Taking "price per coin" as indicator is the worse idea you can have. "price per coin" does not say anything - if coin is undervalued/overvalued, new/old ... nothing.

Its like saying:

I'll not invest in gold because I can have only 5 ounce for my 10000$ that I want to spend for investment, I'll rather buy silver because i can buy 88 times more. Or you know what? I'll rather buy steel because I can buy tones. Or you know what? I'll rather buy manure (cow shit) because I can have dozens of tones for my 10 000$. Or you know what? i'll try to buy an infinite amount of nothing ... maybe someone can sell me that (ohh ... isn't it the definition of meme coins? :P ) Good luck with this strategy XD

To find good investment you have to compare project value with project capitalization.

I'm not sure there will be groups that will provide free or good signals for speculation.  I assume that any input signal will be somewhat accurate, but not completely.  It never convinced me to change my DYOR in investing.  No one should be a puppet to invest vaguely, it should be…

If I were you OP, I would just stay away from those groups since most of them are scammers. And most of them are only for the pump and dump coins thus creating a hype to a certain coin(s).

You should just DYOR thoroughly if you want to find a good altcoins to invest and the internet is your friend plus this forum has some discussion about how to invest in an altcoins that has a potential so you would be able to buy back if the coins is in dip.

I've seen someone who did their research first and they are finding these rare gems in the CMC which has still the potential because of their market movements.

I don't know such discord and telegram groups that are seriously discussing potential altcoins that might be big someday. Since you've mentioned your experience then you're already on the right section and forum to discuss such potential coins that you want to invest in. Actually, it's your effort to look for what you invest to do. There might be some trader that would take advantage of this question of yours and would provide you some gullible materials and analysis for you to invest in what he's invested with.

So let's make this very clear for you, I was asking about groups that may be actively discussing speculation coins in the for of a chatting manner.

To give the range of what I'm looking for does not mean in down buy or own many coins that have cost well more than that range. Simply put...this is a limit order and I'm not paying more than $5.

I read all the whitepapers I can buy it would be good to find a open chat where you can toss out questions and see what others are buying into.

So I understand valuation clear as day, I've been reading stocks for over 10 years. So thanks for the assistance but you are not helping.... You're breaking the focus of my question and thread.

You are wrong man. You make mistake sorting out coins with price higher than 5$. Price does not mean anything here. I explained it to you in 2 posts and 1 linked thread. If you still dont get it ... leave crypto please. You will lose all your money sooner or later.

You're breaking the focus of my question and thread.

If you want to make mistakes (and be loored by shillers into shitcoins) and lose all your money ... Here you are:

I think it's not safe in my personal opinion mate. Because you know mostly such groups that pushing cheap prices of alts are frauds. Yep you read it right and its based on my experience to be honest, wherein they keep selling token with no value and with cheap value but after all they end up shitcoins and sometimes very stagnant.. So be aware mate learn how to make TA instead and find some cheap token in cmc or CoinGecko maybe a good idea since that two platforms were trusted when it comes crypto projects and there's no way they will accept a fake projects because its for the sake of their reputation..

It's very simple if it becomes a question, because the thing that is very common when following any channel is very important information and additional knowledge that we don't know, I think that's all.

I have joined plenty of groups that claims they are a good group and a trading group but in the end the group has just being sold to another team and the tips are bad.

Very true and agree with the thinking you say, because everyone who already knows about any investment will certainly not tell others completely, because each person clearly wants a very good profit for himself first not for others

Its absolutely right telegram and other social media groups are push these type coin and they rise there name in the market so easily say that its very helpful for that type alts which price is very low and many people can't find easily.

Assistance through social media is indeed quite large and very meaningful for all coins, but in conditions like now, any coin development team also needs to see and provide resilience for every coin they have issued previously.

Im still holding all. Never sold any and still claiming gas daily. And your last statement is the point. IF you are in a legit group that discuss coins no matter the price I would like to know. Why, because its impossible to find and read up on every coin so a LEGIT group that discuss coins would be appreciated.

Oh, you can find plenty of them.

But the problem is whether or not they actually give accurate signals. And then answer is rarely yes.

Most of these groups are just run by admins who have glorified pump and dump schemes. If you join you will simply become one of the people who get dumped on, which is not necessarily pleasant if you ask me.

Yeah, just give you some groups that really useful for people who are looking to get legit project. I have been investing in so many legit icos like casper, mina, bico, imuttable and many more. I have made bunch of money from there. You should never be emotional when investing in the crypto. Try to control yourself. As long as it can help you and that's good.

pushing altcoins low?  do you mean low-priced coins?  there are many telegrant channels that talk about altcoins but are more specific about coin price predictions.  however, I'm still sure there's a telegram line that talks about the coin you're referring to but you haven't found.

Actually every coin that has been made and has been circulating in the market has a special telegram channel that talks about it, although there are variations but in general there are special things that are only for one type of coin.
