Welcome to the forum! I think I have heard your call name on a utube channel I watch most nights. Anyway, This is a great place to buy physicals and learn a ton about collecting. My advice would be to read the top three threads here. Spend some time watching a few auctions (there are several amazing ones going on right now) and go back and read through some that already ended. Be careful as a new member not to trust links in personal messages sent to you, do not accept offers to do a deal on telegram or other mediums. Learn the advantage of avoiding scams by using escrow. This place is great but there are scammers watching, especially to take advantage of newbies.

Thanks for the advice Steeley. Mr James is a daily .

Welcome! Steeley hit it on the head - and I will second what he said - use escrow.

As others have said use escrow.  Don't fall for the scammers who use names like other people.  If someone wants to take a deal offline to telegram, etc bail 99.99999% chance they will try to scam you.  And don't impulse buy something, search on this site most likely there are past sales here where you can get a good Guage on market price/value.  Good luck and welcome to the thunderdome.  Oh and whatever happens if someone tries to get you to buy 50 tickets in a super raffle STEER CLEAR!

You are highly welcome to the forum and believe the forum will be of great importance to you and you won't regret joining the forum. But really I want you to familiarize yourself with the forum rules and as others have said make sure you don't fall into scammers hand. Don't trust anybody with your private key or your personal data.

You've chosen the right place, welcome!

Before doing anything that may get yourself disenchanted, take a brief look in the rules: Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703657.0).

I have started collecting physical bitcoins places
Physical bitcoin places? Like what?

but was looking to get a little more serious , so I made an account here.
What do want to learn or maybe, what do you already know? If you have a question to make regarding the technical side, don't hesitate to ask in the Dev & Tech board (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=6.0) if it's about the Bitcoin network in general or in the Bitcoin Technical Support (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=4.0) if it's specifically about Bitcoin Core.

Therr are lots of discussions going on here like about bitcoin, tokens like. NFTs, shina inu, doge coin and also cryptocurrency influencers. Recommended to learn forum rules first. Good luck!

Welcome to these forum first of all, I'm very sure you know the purpose why you joined the forum and how it is operated ( the purpose of the forum it self and how to achieve it ,many peeps register here just to keep asking about the purpose of which the forum was created )
Well if you don't, I'll still stir you to do so to be able to get familiarized with it so you won't go against the rules.
Get a couple of friends here who can maybe show you around the interior peripherals, that's a priority if you don't mind.
Finally, I'd like to encourage you because at a point, you will get tired seriously and feel it isn't necessary to be posting and to be active but I'll always want you to remember the reasons why you started and the achievements you needed to make with the ideas in these forum (cognitively and other wise) then you would just realized everything being easy for you.
Stay motivated
Trojane ❣️

Welcome  to the forum and prepare your wallet, Make it has a shittons of cash so that you can shopping spree or participate on auctions here.

Golden rule is to use always an escrow if you are dealing to anyone. Never negotiate outside the forum and chwck always the trust feedback of the user you are dealing to make sure that you are talking to the real user. There's a lot of scammer lurking around here so keep safe and enjoy collecting!

You are here, the question is that are you going to be learn and follow the protocols, many people has come and also left because of violation of the protocol that guide the community, i love to see new people especially newbies that found their way here with the objectives of grabbing the elementary and tertiary knowledge of cryptocurrencies generally and most especially bitcoin to be precised, been here you have to have a serious drawing board of your motive at first, note: learning and research is the only way out to survive in bitcointalk community, which anyone who is interested of bitcoin will adopt as a major obligation.

Hey guys im new to the forum.  Is there anything that is worth knowing about this community .
Your question and concern are both in order as captured in your first post here. However, beyond all the links you've been sent here to answer your question I would like you to also visit the  Meta (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=24.0) section to observe the goings on there because most times that's where issues in the forum resulting from breach are tackled. Don't post there yet. Just observe. You will most possibly read threads on plagiarism, hacks and bans which are topical issues as a lot of users run foul of those. I believe that will even give you a near first hand experience so you know what to face when (if) you default on any rule here.
