Title: Antminer S19j Pro - shut down unexpectedly... any idea what happened? Post by: GrahamBam on December 08, 2021, 05:36:02 AM Just bought this new unit and got it end of last week. I've had it running for several day and I got an alert from my pool stating it was not working.
I had my girlfriend unplug it (it was running with fans on, but no heat), and re-plug it back in.. Started up and began producing heat and I checked the pool and it was back to hashing. I checked the history log and this is what I found: Code: 2021-12-07 14:57:00 30m avg rate is 105838.81 in 30 mins Any Idea what the heck happened? Thanks! -Graham Title: Re: Antminer S19j Pro - shut down unexpectedly... any idea what happened? Post by: BitMaxz on December 08, 2021, 11:01:25 AM This is only partial logs from your miner it would be better if you can post the whole kernel logs here not the partial logs.
If you have limit posting the whole kernel logs here you can use pastebin.com and paste the URL here. Where do you mine? Recently there are few big pools that have DNS issues that is why some miners have issues connecting to any pool. I don't know exactly what is your miner's problem but if it's related to the pool then switching to a known working pool will solve this issue. Try ViaBTC they solve the issue with their new domain. Here are a few of their working pool server below Code: stratum+tcp://btc.viabtc.top:3333 Title: Re: Antminer S19j Pro - shut down unexpectedly... any idea what happened? Generally these kind of issues are PSU related, make sure the AC voltage is 220v to 240v and the PSU has enough space for enough airflow. The kernel log should reveal more details. |
