Title: NVIDIA GeForce GT 730
Post by: raycosta77 on December 13, 2021, 01:59:26 PM
Hi,

I am having a problem with my newly installed NVIDIA GeForce GT 730. I chose to mine BTG - ZHash (EWBF), but it stays in the STARTING mode. The error message is"

"Failed to initialize miner on GPU0:ZOTAC NVIDIA GT730
       no kernel image is available
        no devices for mining"

Please help.

Try another miner

May have old drivers installed.
How much memory does your video card have?
These video cards were produced with 1, 2 and 4 GB of memory.
To be honest, this is a useless GPU for mining.
But don't give up.

Could be very hard to find a compatible mining software for this GPU since it's too old but the easiest way is to download Nicehash software and do some benchmarking maybe you will find one or two algorithms that will work for this GPU

it is barely better than integrated graphics in a cpu. it was pretty much re-released for someone that just needed a display card really.
you may be able to get better hash rates on a potato, just peel a potato and fry on it.

This GPU is useless for crypto mining it's just as powerful as a integrated GPUs that you will find in weak laptops, they can't even handle a low end gaming on PC, the lowest GPU for mining today is rx470 and gtx1650.

As per betterhash platform a gtx 730 can mine few algorithm but the main issue is mining software capabilities maybe you can use betterhash software to try it out? Here is gt 730 calculator

There are two different versions of GT730: with Kepler and Fermi GPU Core. Last one is too old. Kepler is more powerful but too weak for mining. I achieved 96 h/s while mining on CN_GPU algo with xmrig-nvidia miner. Some information about mining on GeForce GT730 4GB GDDR5 is here: https://www.cryptoprofi.info/?p=11162.

ETH ≈19.05 MH/s  :o :o
This calculator shows incorrect data, and other coins have been using ASICs for a long time. If you are interested in earning 3-6 dollars a month, then you should study the information. But it is better to look for other ways to earn money.
