At about 12:00 UTC today, Elon declared that Tesla will start accepting Doge for merch payments

It's been a while since I learnt Elon musk Tesla would be accepting cryptocurrency in settlement. I know bitcoin should be accepted by now and dogecoin ought to be accepted looking at the history of Elon musk and dogecoin. If the declaration was made today, then we could see some positive impact on the value of dogecoin soon.

I think its been for a while already. In my opinion, Elon are probably preparing dogecoin for a megapump. He already did some crazy shill before and made dogecoin reach top spot on coinmarketcap. Now every shitcoin are gonna be wild to know if dogecoin succeeded. Since they will of course benefit from the shill like what happened on Shib.

Meanwhile, whether Tesla uses dogecoin or not won't automatically change the price of doge from a reasonable price when bitcoin is still suffering bear. Bitcoin is the king of it all and at the moment not doing very good from correction. But we still expecting good from doge having reached a good ATH of about $0.70

Elon keeps saying that DOGE is better for a higher transaction volume compared to Bitcoin. The truth is that its no better and no worse on scale. It is a PoW coin and will be governed by the same rules if transaction volume goes higher.

The drawback is that it has almost no dev community and is a coin merge-mined with LTC. Elon calls Bitcoin as a Store of Value and then immediately uses his clout to support Doge. Then why not the hundreds of other similar PoW coins that started here at the forum itself.

The "community" of DOGE is made up of tiktokers and wannabe bitcoiners who enjoy Bitcoiners getting dissed by the topic of cryptocurrency being turned into a joke, just because Elon enjoys it.

When he does stuff like this, it makes a mockery of the immutability, strength and robustness of the "network", something that the entire concept of crypto is dependent upon. Well, I just hope that atleast the tiktokers are happy with the pump.

I think that somehow we all expected this to come, given his history with dogecoin. I won’t disagree with that the doge community is made up of wannabe bit coiners, who I believe are fans and followers of Elon Musk in the first place. He is very mush using his power and influence to do some market manipulations once again, wherein the end will make many incur losses. it's only affecting the doge coin and i don't even see any other impact that happened with another crypto. This news was dedicated for the doge coin. I don't even think this news will stop the down that happened with crypto.

It seems that is why Dogecoin has already increased for a moment, although we do not know if the price can still increase or it will be back to the lower price. But now, the price is down again so we need to be careful because there is no guarantee if the price can be back increased. This news was a short term news. the price action already reflected if other crypto has nothing to do with this news. Actually if this really happens and will be done in order to be one of the payment method, it will be a very good news. But I don't know if this is only short politic to rise up Doge and then someday this will end soon after Elon can rise up the price and take more profits.
We don't know how exactly Elon and Tesla are planning right now. We may be happy about tis good news, this add more value and also utility of Doge itself.

I have doubt that he has another hidden agenda on this and guess what it is, profit, it's an earning when Dogecoin will boost the price.  He really knows that it will not work on Bitcoin even though how influenced he is because crypto enthusiast has been experienced this when he was making a FUD before.

If this has some effect, and it has as the price of Doge shows, this is going to be temporary. The market is bearish at the moment and Doge could not just rely on the words of Elon Musk for its rise. And this is not something new. So the effect will be of lesser degree than the first and probably second time Elon Musk showed support for Doge. And of course this is not Tesla cars that could be bought using Doge. This is just Tesla merch.

If the doge not relying on elon words anymore on what it could rely ? doge has no usecase and future plans, this coins price will increase only if people are on hype for this coin. So i think it's better to leave this coin for a long time investment since having profits from this coin is really speculative.
