If they are useful and safe then your profile becomes good. Don't bother too much about earning "Merit" else you may be discouraged even when you are making good/safe and useful contributions.. You will likely earn merit you deserve once in a while when you make good contributions without expecting merits/rewards. Our purpose here is to contribute to any good thing Bitcoin/crypto related. If you want to stray a little bit away from crypto discussions then post on these sections of the forum: "Off-topic", "Politics & society" , "Serious Discussion" etc. Your contributions on the sections should also be useful and good. If You don't know much about Bitcoin or crypto you can learn from those who understand it better than you do.
