There are lots of exchanges available in this crypto platform. Binance kucoin coinbase houbi and so many good exchange Where people keep trading daily. But apart from that, sometimes we need to use unknown exchange for trading. Some may good and some may bad. And thats what I'm looking for! Your selected worst exchange, may best for others but it doesn’t matter. Share the name of exchange which gave you worst trading experience, scam your fund or sometime else. Share, so that others can alert from it.

I don't remember this worst website before, it's Chinese trading site I'm sure of it since it's all in Chinese and there's an option to turn it to English but still a lot of Chinese texts. I have a token of mine where it was listed on that site and there's no other exchange site I can sell it however I'm too eager to sell it before its value will go off but after I deposit on them I didn't managed to receive my deposit even though it has many confirmations already.

Tried to contact the support but it seems they don't have English support. Worst experience in trading.

ya.ya.yo!

I don't intend to use unknown exchanges. I know the risk that it has and I'm not willing to go for it. I've read a lot of bad experiences that made me realize that it's better to stick into the known and reputable exchanges. But if you're that type of person that's looking for a thrill and eager to try them, I urge you not. But one of the known exchange that many forum members don't like is yobit.

Of course if we do daily trading it is a popular exchange and it is impossible to choose an unknown exchange, and one of the exchanges is not known then we use it I think it's a token that can be airdropped / bounty and forced to trade there with many problems we know but so far i always avoid what i don't know it will be a risk if we daily trade on an unknown exchange.
So I have experience on unknown exchanges, I have never experienced it but I never just for my daily trading.
Except selling tokens and then withdrawing.

On exchanges, there are many types of tradings: Spot, Future, Leverages with Cross Collateral or Isolated Collateral. With each trading types, you will have different bad experience. The most terrible experience are one of three reasons
- Losing your capital because exchanges were hacked and did not make compensation for customers or they do scam exits.
- Losing your capital because you fail to do KYC.
- Losing your capital because of liquidation from either Leverage trading or Future trading.
I see all of three cases are nightmares.

As far as I know, for me Vindax, why? the reason is that many accusations of fraud and others are leveled on the exchange. In fact, it turned out that I myself felt it when I deposited tokens that were only available for trading there. All deposit addresses match, with the appropriate network too, but the token I sent has not arrived. I have checked the proof of all valid transactions. Requesting support and filling out the provided formats such as attaching proof of transaction, confirmation time, exchange address, I have fulfilled everything. But the exchange didn't solve my problem till now.

Based up on my own experience then the most bad or sucks big time kind of exchange would be Yobit.net/com! Lets just exclude those totally been taken down by hacks and become scam but this exchange is shady as fuck big time.

1. No support/ They dont ever answer
2. Lots of shady coins
3. High House edge of their gambling games
4. Often wallet maintenance

Surprisingly this exchange is still running up to now and im surprised that there are still users who do make use of this
platform.

The worst exchange I have experienced is P2PB2B. Every new project gets dumped on this project there is very low trade volume. Their interface is also the worst and the price chart is useless. It doesn't show the price correctly. I will never use this exchange again.

coinsbit, latoken and yobit, I'm sure I'm not the only one who has problems using these three exchanges. since i had trouble with withdrawals as well as their idiotic CS response i never again followed news about all three, and i don't want to know lol.

The worst I experienced was cryptsy and it is not here anymore. Most people in this forum nowadays probably haven't even heard about it. It was so laggy and slow, it would me its users puke. Then they got what they deserved. I can't exactly remember but they got hacked probably. Maybe it was an insider job. Not sure. Lots of people lost lots of money there.

I never had any problems with any exchange... probably just luck but I never had funds in any exchange that was hacked, I never lost funds or had any issues with any crypto exchange in 6+ years I trade.
The only thing I don't like are high fees for withdrawing, but now with the Binance chain that is almost solved, it's not so expensive to move funds as before, of course, if it's possible to use BEP!

Personally, I am just using the reputable exchange for my own sake and I do care about my money so I want to have the best experience when using these exchanges. But, as far as I am using different exchanges out there, I would say Yobit has left me the worst experience I have faced in crypto trading. Start from worst support, bad volume, bad choice of coins and other stuff to mention. Just stay away from Yobit if you care about your money.

I think the worst experience which I faced with exchanges is they suck in high-volume periods. Whenever there is a big crash or a very big pump, these exchanges automatically block the retail investors from putting in orders of one side in the name of some glitch or bug. This definitely is the worst thing you will see from these exchanges, it hurts because many a time there are ample opportunities to either save your money or make money during these high volume periods but due to these glitches you can't even access the order book basically means you are stuck with whatever you have. This has happened with me many times in Binance and Kucoin.

So far I am not used to trading asset both bitcoin and altcoin on many exchange. I use local exchange and Binance to trade. The two exchange that I have used so far are very reliable and very responsive to the problem I face including the problem of the length of the withdrawal and deposit process.

I can tell you that I haven't been involved in many bounties since I got to know the forum to date, so I don't have to exchange token on different exchange for each distribution, so I'm not quite experienced with many exchange so far but for the two exchange I use no problem. Maybe I can advise you not to trade on many centralized exchange that require you to pass KYC. You should be able to consider the security of your personal data on an exchange that you only use once in a lifetime, so it's a good idea not to register just because you want to convert token or coin for just a few dollars.

Oh yeaaah, these are the real annoying bits. I mean it is not easy to actually become this bad, like how the hell do you become an exchange and have zero support or very slow support? The shady coin part is a bit understandable, it does make the exchange not so much liked and all but those shady coins need a place to be exchanged anyway, so eventually one place will take it and that is why they will end up with something like a shitcoin here and there so that's fine, plus they are making profit from that as well.

There is nothing that can be done about the gambling part since if an exchange decided to go with gambling route, then they already gave up. Wallet maintenance is okay if you do it on different coins all the time because it would allow them to improve, but I have seen on the same coins back to back as well. All in all exchanges can be so annoying sometimes.

Seriously I know of one exchange which is stormgain exchange, to trade on the exchange is relatively easily and to make deposit on the exchange is also easy but to make withdrawal on the exchange is problem. I mined on the exchange which I didn't meet up with the minimum withdrawal of the exchange so I decided to deposit money from my binance exchange then I will add it to the one I was having there so that I can withdraw it, after depositing then I wanted to make withdrawal it takes 4days before my withdrawal was successful I messaged there support they didn't respond after complaining on there Telegram group I was banned then I lost hope after like 4 days I just saw that my withdrawal was successful. Since then I never deposited my money into an unknown exchange anymore.

Actually, I forgot those exchanges and I don't want to remember them as well. And that is because I use them once, well, it went well and my withdrawals arrive but to say about the safety of our funds there, that can be uncertain and so not to use again. Even in Bittrex exchanges, I don't visit them back while leaving some coins there and I have to move on.

Mostly scam projects will ask KYC even just a simple registration, that should we need to be careful. They'll not just to scam money from you but also your profile/personal ID.

^ Luckily, I don't have encountered a problem even I use unknown exchange because I always read the TOS and FAQ before I decide to use it even though they are unknown. I spent one day searching for their feedbacks and sometimes I will join first on their community like telegram and tweeter to gather information. Once all requirements are suitable to may standard in picking exchange then I will choose that exchange.
However, this story I won't consider this as worst because in the end I still got my fund, a long period of process withdrawal, I keep updating on their social media account, and later on the money was I received.

I can't remember anymore what exchanges they are as if I use them, I only used it a few times.

Most of my trades are done in reputable exchanges like Binance and Kucoin.
Also, I do trade with hitbtc and yobit, I heard they have bad feedback but personally, I have not experienced being scammed, hopefully, it will not happen to me as until now I am still an active user.

my problem with hitbtc is their withdrawal fee, but I never faced a problem my withdrawals are getting hold.

A dozen of exchanges have trading experienced but I can easily say that latoken exchange is the worst exchange in the cryptocurrencies trading platform because every scams and shit projects are listing on latoken and after launching on latoken it's values gradually decreased.

Hitbtc.... This exchange is totally shit and i didn't use it since two or three years. cause it asked for more than $20 fee when others exchange only ask for $2/3 only. Even sometime it asked $40-50 fee if you want to withdraw any altcoins (this incident is happened two three years ago) Even it has bot trading, kyc not mandatory but they temporary blocking accounts randomly and asking for kyc even for small funds too. Even i got email, someone login my accounts! Same was happened with my friends too. Don’t like it actually, worst experience ever

Yeah I agree with this. Yobit is a russian exchange and been up for years. However you really got to becareful.

I remember when that dice was added to their exchange. I remember I would mine some new alts and decided to give it a try, it was nice because you could roll with any currency not just bitcoin. And I remember never winning. They never posted any hashed seeds so you could never verify the rolls.

And the wallet maintenance is very famous also. They got so many coins however the wallets are offline for months. They never reboot their node. Why even trade those coins, most of those coins are small cap and only have 1 exchange. Basically many get tricked this way.

Contact support yields nothing. Don't know if they have problem finding workers but they really need more support staff for that exchange. Its popular still because its old.

For me

No 1 worst would be CITEX and their wallets under maintenance for months with robot replies when I try to contact them

close No2 the kyc verification of Bittrex, after 10 emails and photos of me holding ID documents
sill waiting for an expert to figure it out...even though I had done kyc before for years with my passport that expired

and with funds deposited that I am not able to use

by far worst customer service there

I personally also experienced it, where to carry out activities again I was asked to do KYC, but after I did KYC, it took a long time to verify, until now it has not been approved, I don't know if I'm the only one experiencing it. but to ask for some of the funds, I personally don't know it, but to make a withdrawal there is a high fee

So far the only CEXs that gave me headache before is Hitbtc and Coinsbit, Hitbtc happens to be the only one trading a token I have and I try to exchange it but then I realized I should hold it and decided to withdraw again but to my surprise withdrawal fee amount is much bigger than the amount I have, I ended up trading to other token and withdraw immediately. Coinsbit on the other hand has a very slow UI, It can take a minute until you can create an offer lol.

Since the beginning, I traded to almost any "known" exchange and all of them had their issues from time to time. I won't mention the ones that closed or hacked or scam, which is for me, by far, the worst that can happen. :'(
So based on the trading experience and not based on the fees of withdrawing (which is big to almost all the exchanges), my worst was in HitBTC. Very slow connection, hard to put an order (in means of time to be confirmed), and you couldn't use your whole coin/ token amount (except BTC). I stop using it a long time now and to be honest, I didn't bother to even log in and take a look.

People's answer are varies means they have a bad luck on several exchanges but others are not, so it's depends on the luck and the condition at the problem's time.
I will share mine too, i have a bad experience with p2pb2b because of deposit problem and when i faced the problem the supports are not good enough for handling the problem so i feel hopeless to solve it and just left it there.

My first encounter with an exchange hacking incident was in 2016. The exchange involved is Bitfinex. If I remember it right, after they came back from the business, they did some swaps on the hold balance of those who got affected including me. My bitcoin was shifted into their own coin. If only they didn't do that, the hold BTC on that exchange should be more valuable. That was far as I remember.

The next one is Cryptopia on which until today, the supposed recovery is still in process on which I'm not sure if it's really taking place.

I do not have a problem with any exchange until now and I hope I will not face that in the future. Maybe some exchanges do not respond quickly to their members if they have a problem so we can say that exchanges are bad, while to the other members, their response is normal. Besides that, I do not have an account in the exchanges that do not have reputations because that will make me feel too worried to keep my balance on that exchange. I prefer to stay at the recommended exchange to trade to prevent scamming and hacking.

At the beginning of crypto journey I had invested in a few ICOs. We know most of them were just worst. To sell coins I had used Yobit, Hitbtc, Livecoin and one more that I just forgot the name. I didn't trade there actually. I just sold my holdings and out from there. I just feel uneasy with them, and not ready to complie with them as well. The main issue is there are not enough liquidity which had been lead me sell coin in lower price and get out. Withdrawal conditions few exchange just terrible, there is minimum amount you can't Withdraw below that. So over all experience not good at all although I just forgot about them and don’t intend to use them anymore.

There it goes. I browsed the first page and didn't see this name. Their previous supporters even branded them $hitBtc as they were really shitty in many ways. An example is a way you will deposit with them and this is based on my own experience.
They will take a part of the deposited cryptocurrency while you haven't even traded anything yet. That means you are losing a part of your money and then you are going to lose more with trading taxes and then another if you want out or withdrawal as we call it.
Note: What they took will never be sent back to you. It's their property and it's not like a security thing that will be given back afterward.

So far i don't have bad experience when it comes using exchanges such latoken and binance, by the way these is actually my first two platform ever since before , wherein i just jump in to binance because of the features that latoken don't have even though you don't need kyc to use latoken full features. But yeah so far no problem and passing kyc in binance is worth it and no regrets. :D

Latoken does not require KYC? I need to note down that as I am in hunt of such KYC-free exchanges and so far I am able to find only 2 recommendations like kucoin and latoken.

I guess because you are dealing with known exchanges is the reason that you are not facing any problem with them; usually people are going for new exchanges just for the reason of selling their bounty rewards but when they are dealing with new exchanges sometimes they are facing problems but for the people who are not doing with bounty programs or airdrops, I guess there will be no need of going for new exchanges.

YoBit and latoken will be the worst one without any doubt. I had the worst experience on YoBit for overall thing. BTW, latoken will be on top for worst exchange if it's about withdrawal fees and liquidation. Most of the altcoin pairs are having fake/bot trading on latoken and withdrawal fee was so high. I don't know about the current situation of withdrawal fees as i stopped using latoken back in 2019 or starting of 2020. After that, i start avoiding latoken for any tokens.

Worst? Oh man I can give you shittiest exchanger. What if I tell you that I have 25 million token from ICO sale and that are stuck on the exchanger which is operational yet it’s not giving me my money? Though the tokens are not worth million dollars (consider its flop project) then also I’m not able to withdraw the tokens. I mean even if I want to withdraw the garbage then also I’m not able to do it from that exchanger and that is what makes it the shittiest exchanger of all.

The name is TowerX exchanger. A company running it is SAAS based and fully operational with loads of money yet it’s behaving like sucker punch. You guys can still check it out and see how peeps have left over millions of dollars just lying around with zero trading volume.

Imagine how frustrating that might be.

I am not seeing any luck factor is playing a role on avoiding problems with exchanges here. When you are careful and you are choosing our exchange of the lots of due diligence and recommendation then you can easily avoid problems. I usually go registering new exchanges only when they are having support through bitcointalk or it needs to be recommended by my friends or colleagues.

Usually I do not believe into any recommendation made through social media especially telegram. Always listening to the trusted community will help for sure.

You sound like that you are an experiences with all crypto works. I have learned this kind of procedures while availing any new services but practically I am not following them but it is really nice you are sharing your experience like you're already into such practices. I believe it would be a better practice when we are taking precautionary steps before facing any big problems with our hard earned money.

Simply, avoiding new and lesser known exchanges will be a good practice to avoid all the problems related to exchanges.

I have my bad experience with DEX before where fees are being wasted because of the error on the transactions and so far this is my worst experience though I don’t have one on CEX since I only choose the best exchange for this and I believe that they are too perfect for me not to learn how to access their site.
We all have our worst experience in some exchange and it's always annoying or irritating especially you are trading then the exchange is either scam or shady in which there's a sudden decision from their dev to hold all of your asset on their exchange yet this is their unique style of doing an exit to scam all of their traders and investors. But when Binance is introduced to me, at first I was so hesitant to trust them since I don't know them that time but so far when I tried to use it I kinda like it and been using it for a year. But now, since they required their customers to pass the KYC I just stopped using it since I don't like the idea passing some KYC which they should follow or they close.

my problem with hitbtc is their withdrawal fee, but I never faced a problem my withdrawals are getting hold.

I think they have to be the worst exchange I have used in my books, one time I ended up paying way more than any other exchange would charge for withdrawing an altcoin I think it was close to $100, it was an erc20 altcoins l and they just listed newly in the exchange and I was trying to take advantage;f the price difference on both exchange I was losing. I regret that transaction until today and not surprised when I see write up of how awful this exchange is.

Sometimes I wonder why they still have patronage, I remember seeing they have one of the worst withdrawal fees for Bitcoin transaction way back. Exchanges that are considered scammy don't even have such withdrawal fees. Also their customers service aren't as reliable as the top exchanges. Hitbtc overall is just a poor exchange as they get poor rating from all angles.

The number of scams that occur in cryptocurrencies makes us have to be more vigilant and more careful when we meet new projects. It needs careful consideration when you will join in a project. Even if you are very careful, scammers can still infiltrate from one way or another, technological developments are so agile, unfortunately some people take advantage of this for bad things.

Not experience one yet, because before i do trading, i asked first or maybe not entering at all exchanges that suspicious. But if i don't have choice, then i will ask in my facebook group first if the exchange have a problem with withdrawal or not. My suggestion if only for daily trading, just pick big exchanges maybe at least technical error is less to happened. If worst experience like lose in trading, we can't blame the exchange.

I was fortunate that I have chosen trusted exchanges and so far, I didn't experience any inconvenience with top exchanges. I was tempted to use new exchanges before due to curiosity but I was afraid to take the risks despite the rewards and promos that they're offering. It's still important that we'll do a series of research first before using a certain exchange so we'll never put our funds at risk.

Probably youbit.net,HitBTC and Tradeogre(if I remember the name correctly).
That was 4-5 years ago, when ICO tokens were a thing.I wasn't fascinated by ICO tokens that much,so I wanted to sell them for BTC as quickly as possible.
I got lots of annoying spam emails from yobit.net about newly launching shitcoins, tokens and "investment plans".I also couldn't delete my yobit account, which was annoying as well.
I don't remember being scammed, but the overall experience was bad.
My experience with HitBTC and Tradeorge was a little bit better, but the withdrawal fees on both crypto exchanges were pretty high for some reason.

I always check feedback if i need to go for unknown exchange. Sometime its necessary to go there as you told. there are bulk of bad exchange like Bittrex, bkex where i face most problem for trading. Account freeze problem,  currency deposit weren't not arrived on time, withdrawal issue. Even some korean exchanges are also bad! One of those, didn’t give my fund back, no support no service. I need to go there for sell my bounty token.

I usually avoid dexes these days.

Especially if they're in the Ethereum network because of the fees. There's no problem with those dex from BSC.

But those with the erc20 tokens and dex, they're a big problem to me because of the high fees and I know everyone can relate from it.

Support - that's in fact the most common issue with a number of exchanges and I do love an exchange that takes the extra step to ensure that they can deal with customers complaints no matter how good their exchange platform or system is. I've experienced similar situation with deposit not getting credited and what's even more frustrating is when there's no one from the exchange's customer support team handling your issue. Anyway, when I experience such, I usually hesitate before using such exchange.

The only time I use another exchange aside from Binance is when the coin I have is not available on said exchange. Ican't remember the names of exchange that I have used and the only bad things that I knew that those exchange gave me was the withdrawal fees and the KYC. But most of them don't require KYC as they are knew ang gaining fame and users.

I have tried many international exchanges, I basically do not try to use the new or unknown exchanges because there are many of them scam, but even the global exchanges have different features from each other, they have good and bad features, for me the worst exchange I traded in is probably Yobite because it is contains a lot of worthless Shitcoin also there is a lot of misinformation where you buy a coin of hundreds of dollars today and the next day you find the price of a few cents, of course they do not deceive you directly but many beginners fall victim to these scam coins and this is basically the fault of the exchange Because it allows that to happen.

I do not trade without exchanging good quality. Currently I trade in 5 or 6 exchanges almost all of them are good, but if I compare among them, there is a little different in position i just say about Coinsbit where I do not feel comfortable. Although their security and all other all right. Its my personal opinion.
your experience may also happen a lot to everyone who is in crypto, rarely trade only for one exchange because it is adjusted to the situation. because with many exchanges used, we can find out what needs are suitable for each what we will do in time.

I've been doing the same thing all this time and there are rarely any inconveniences, even if there are usually it can be resolved in a good way and can be completed completely. it's just that there has been a delay which until now can't be resolved properly but because the volume is not large I don't mind it and can accept it, if I'm not mistaken at that time I was stuck with HitBtc and until now I also rarely use it.

I not used many exchanges but worst exchange I found is Coinsbit. Very low volume here and i saw some token are very low from their ICO price.
P2pb2b is also worst exchange. New coins  volume is very low here Also but better than coinsbit.
Hotbit also sometime show bad volume and I don't like this exchange also.

I agree with most of the names that was given by other members. Yobit, P2B, HitBtc and more.
What I don't understand is how come there are still people trading inside those exchanges without even having the knowledge of how bad they are or perhaps they are all fake accounts of the exchanges. Is that possible?
There is one name I am trying to remember but because I didn't use for a long time it's deep in my memories. I'll put it right away when it pops on my mind. Worst experience is support and I think many traders have gone with this boring path of waiting and follow ups.

The only thing I don't like is their high withdrawal fees which I think they had already uniform it on all assets they have. Of course, there's plenty of exchanges as an option, it always depends on us on where we are comfortable with.

I have never used any unknown or unpopular exchange before. It has always been popular exchanges that I have been making use of. The first that I started with was Coinbase and then later I got to discover about Binance exchange, and since they charges lesser fees than Coinbase when it comes to trading, I had to start doing most of my trading on the Binance exchange.

But I have been scammed once, but that wasn’t on an exchange, rather it was during a one-on-one trading experience. Then I was still a noob and never knew how these exchanges things works, and I went to one forum looking for who to sell my bitcoins to, and got scammed by someone, but it was just a small amount. But I also met reliable traders that I can sell to at a better rate than even exchanges. As for the exchanges, I have been trading with Binance and Coinbase for long and never considered changing to any other exchange.

Since I am not a day trader, I can’t say which of these exchanges are the worst for me to trade. However, there’s one exchange that gave me the worst experience in depositing my tokens which is BitForex. I seem to forgot already about the coin that I was suppose to deposit there but it was stuck for days and customer support was very slow and bad. I think it was 1 or 2 years ago.

Probably those sensitive exchanges, I won't name them but those who has only a a very small amount of withdrawal you could make per day if you're not a verified user. Those who do not requires KYC and yet after you deposited your money, they will force you to submit your KYC to be able to unlock your account, etc...

Some giveaway tokens and bounty tokens are listed in bad exchanges, yes, you can sell them but the volume is very low and they also demand a KYC. I'm thinking sometimes that these kinds of exchanges are only used by a fake project to show to the investors that the project is listed in an exchange and to let them feel that they are legit.

I have some bitter experience on exchanges like cryptopia, yobit and even on coinbase but now I am using very few exchanges and those even on rare occasions so didn't remember anything in the recent months.

One instance I remember was from Hitbtc if I am not wrong where I deposited tokens after looking at the price on coinmarket cap but I realized the reported price from the exchange is not even 1 by 10th and more worse thing is I can't withdraw those tokens so I decided to sell them for loss and just removed the exchange from using forever.

I never thought of trading on an unpopular exchange that would allow me to lose my assets. In my opinion, the choice of exchange is the most important thing which must be in a place that we trust, of course a place that is popular and has been trusted by many people.
So far I've only traded on a few very trusted exchanges and so far I haven't come across the worst.

I do not usually trade on anonymous exchanges only when needed. From my little experience I saw that p2pb2b is not good exchange at all. I remember that my first transaction by made a deposit here once but it has been deposited and after some times gone again. I talked to the support about the matter and they did not return my balance for this reason i always avoid this exchange.

Those exchanges which had scammed were not into business anymore. This is the common scenario. Scammy exchanges cannot sustain in this crypto space. With the power of this community, we can push scammy exchanges to get shut down hence obvious scams cannot continue their bad behaviors for long duration.

Even I appreciate your efforts for this discussion; I guess it would be a good practice to have the list of reputed exchanges rather than looking for list of worst exchanges. When you know 2 to 5 reputed exchanges, I am sure you can survive in this crypto space without any major problems.

This is a problem that many newbie traders experiment, as they do not know a lot about the markets they have the tendency to choose an exchange that was recommended to them by some other people on social media but the truth is there are a lot of bots and fake reviews there, so there are very high chances that you end up trading in an exchange that is not trustworthy making your first experiences in this market extremely negative to the point that many give up and think the whole market is a scam, even if we know this is not the case.

I have used the top exchanges of the present time, and their support team has responded at the right time so that even big problems can be solved without any hassle.

However, I once faced a big problem on Hitbtc and took leave from that exchange without any solution. So the worst exchange for me is hitbtc.

Luckily for me I had never had any bad experience with any exchange, even in some of the newly established ones where my bounty tokens were listed, I usually exchanged my tokens to either bitcoin or ethereum and transfer it swiftly to my wallet to avoid any touching stories, I also took my time in choosing a reliable and trusted exchange for my trading which is Binance, I have read many negative remarks and reviews of some bad exchanges whose reputations are questionable thus I tried avoiding such type of exchange for trading.

I've used several exchanges, and I must say that the exchange or rather, exchanges that gave me the worst trading experience are -
1. LATOKEN - I've come to hate this exchange and it's owners(who ever they are) with passion, I mean from high trading fees to high withdrawal fees, worst part is this exchange even collects deposit fee on any coin you deposit to the exchange, this is worst than worst.

2. HITBTC - I used to like this exchange until I discovered I can deposit any amount of coin to the exchange but can't withdraw all, that is your withdrawal amount must be in round numbers, like 100, 200, 500, 800, if you have 891, you can only withdraw 800 and the 91 remains on the exchange, you either have to look for a way to make it a round number or forfeit it to the exchange, this is what I call day light robbery.

Same here I never had serious problems with any exchanges out there but the one that troubles me the most was Localbitcoins who technically isn't an exchange but I used to buy BTC and sometimes sell BTC on that website to the local users for cash. The website suddenly without any reason or logic forced me to do KYC which I never wanted to do. They even locked my funds which was immoral, I understand some exchanges may do KYC but they should have never locked my funds.

I ended up doing the KYC and getting funds out but it is something I will never forget and I make sure to let everyone know about this so they don't face the problem and at least LBC loses some customers ;D.

For me the worst one has to be yoshit because they are shit and list any coin plus the exchange is a well known scam and while I didn't got scammed, I never had an easy time trading there.

I think the best one has to be Binance given how picky and careful they are when adding new coins and while their support sucks, there aren't many problems I have had on this platform for over a year or two now.

For overall on being shit they Yobit does have that which does have shit support and very shady acts which the community does aware about that specially those old users here on this forum.

BCNEX was the worst experienced that I used before, because I deposited some of my funds then after a months I think, the platform was suddenly gone without giving any notice to their clients. It was a lesson learned actually in my part, that is why at this moment, I only used most of the time an exchange which are on top in the market only just like Binance, Kucoin, Gate.io and pancakeswap.

Never been tried other not known exchanges because in the first place by that looks like you risk your funds to a not reliable exchange so I guess it's not ideal to do but if we are talking about the platform using an altcoins like the pancake swap uniswap those are already reputable but the other than that i never been try because no one would like to risk their funds. Ive been using binance, kucoin, mexc, pancakeswap, and uniswap.

I had to recently test out gate.io and I have to say it is by far one of the worst exchanges there out there. First of all they require you to pay such a HUGE amount for withdrawal fee, you know matic? The one that charges maybe 3 cents? They charge 2-3 dollars for withdrawing it, also if you want to withdraw bnb, you need to have at least 50 dollars worth of it, do not even get me started on the trading fees.

It is by far the worst, there is no proper help, the KYC requirement takes over a whole day to happen, and you just wait there thinking how I can get my money out. TRX is the cheapest I could find and even there we are talking about 100x more than what the blockchain requirement is. They keep promoting "we won't charge any for USDT on tron!!!" but in reality tron USD doesn't really charge anyway, unless you withdraw tens of thousands in which case it is only 3-5 cents at most.

Yobit, This is the shit exchange ever I have used. Just forget my password and username. So I tried to contact at there support, But they did not provide my details because they think it's not me(real user). But I have emailed them with my personal Email address(that I have used to create an account)
Still, I have some funds there, But cant able log in.
No keys, no coin.
If they want, I can get access to my account but they did not want it.
Something similar happened to me, I had an account there and then my email provider announced that it was going to disappear so I asked the support if I could change my email as I will soon lose access to it, their response? It was not possible, then I asked why it was the case? After all changing your email is something that you can do in almost any website, they refused to answer and recommended me to just open another account, something that I refused to do, after all if they cannot do that can you imagine the problems I would have to go through if I had an actual issue?

I've never used Yobit since, and I don't want to. But I still have some dollars left on that exchange, it would be very helpful if I could get it back. But there seems to be no way to get back those dollars. I demotivate all my friends so that they do not use this exchange. There are tons of trustworthy exchanges available.

Did you know they used to have a non-provably fair dice game a few years back? You could actually gamble on an exchange lol.

Well that is not the worst that I encounter so far, there are too many exchanges that have the worst services just like delays of withdrawing the fund and lack of support. Others are scamming people through the reason of not following the TOS but the fact is that is a kind of a trap that you don't know, after a deposit, they will ask KYC that it is hard for you to pass because it required only a single ID like passport or driver license which is if you are a student it is hard on your part.

Some people might find Coinbase a bad place for trading, as their servers crashed down (https://coingeek.com/coinbase-goes-offline-amid-market-crash/) several times during major price changes. This is probably the worst experience a trader might have, when every minute lost means huge losses. Also I remember a case when XRP doubled its price, followed by a drop. Binance servers were overloaded because of that and crashed. Many users did not manage to login and cancel they buy orders.

My worst experience was with XT.com due to their location and my internet. For me their page load for ages, lags and it a real pain to sell bounty rewarded tokens. All these balance switching from spot to trading, adding all trade password and etc was a real problem for me.

They are the worst by far,

first of all my account was verified for years with them with my passport so is not that I did not have kyc before,
at the moment I don't plan to renew my passport and they don't accept my country's driving license (even though I come from EU country)
as soon as my passport expired they ask again kyc with my ID (only option for me now and still the same guy like my expired passport I kyc before)

after trying to scan my id through their automated system that kept failing  I send to them many support tickets, every time explaining the situation and then every time giving me same reply through their support as if they never read any of my previous tickets...

7 or 8 tickets later this time I attach all my previous tickets in one message to make them understand the situation,
I then get a reply asking me to post a pictures of me holding the id and a paper with todays date,, I do that too

then the message I get is our expert will review it and we let you know

that was a month ago....

kyc should not be that complicated and I have done kyc with most platforms that I use for many years
also customer service would be good to read what your issue is not just send to you automated replies

so until their expert figures this out I do my trades on other platforms

only thing I still have funds there that I cannot trade,

moral of this story

AVOID BITTREX !!!

I didn't trade on the exchange site but I hold a certain coin for good and after I go back on the exchange site after a few months I see that it is not currently offered on the site and there's no way to see my coin they say that it was removed for a few months and was asked users to withdraw their coins but I failed to withdraw it and it was kind of confiscated or something. Well I learned that if you are going to hold a certain coin, hold it on your personal wallet and not on exchange.

I don't know if anyone here know CCEX.com but it's the first exchange I use when I'm new to Bitcoin. I experience lots of bad memories on that exchange including my account got hack even though I have a email verification to access my account and I don't use my exchange account frequently so there's no way I will fall on phishing link that time. On top of that since they are the famous exchange on my time, I'm force to create again since that's the only place I can trade then they suddenly close without further notice.

I usually leave my money on exchange that so that's the very important lesson I learned on that hella exchange.

Forgetting your password and username is easy, why not just reset it using your email that you've used on your account in Yobit, no need to contact their support on such matter unless your also forgot what email did you use on that. Nonetheless, my only issue about Yobit is that they have a very bad reputation because of scams, and their platform is always lagging for some reason, that's why I don't use their platform anymore.

There's one experience that I'll never forget when it comes to trading. I created an account on this exchange (can't remember the name) thinking their order books was legit. I deposited a fairly good amount because I badly needed to convert my tokens and immediately found out the reality that I was fooled ;D Needless to say, they took my tokens and never received any response from them. This happened back in 2017.

If you can withdraw those remaining funds, just do it and leave them forever.

Such funds that you still have should be taken if you still have access to your account. You only need to do a withdrawal request and if you're about to withdraw.

Choose the crypto that doesn't have that much in fees.
There is no way to get back those dollars. Because I have no access to my yobit exchange. The support team is not helping me to get back my account. They are unprofessional at all. I have a good amount of Waves coin there, But the support team is shit.

I don't know, Why still people using Yobit exchange.!!
In this forum, a ton of Complaints are available for this exchange.

To solve this problem you can use FTX exchange, There is no charge to withdraw Bitcoin. But for this, you need to hold some FTT coins there. You can get more details here: https://help.ftx.com/hc/en-us/articles/360034865571-Blockchain-Deposits-and-Withdrawals (check photo)

I haven't gotten into trouble with any exchange lately but i have experience bad service delivery from some exchanges.

Ranging from bad customer care, fraud, low responses time and lack of friendly interface etc.

There are some exchanges once a project list on it, i automatically tag the project as failed for me. Because the exchange will just make the project looks frustrating and worthless eg. vindax and coinsbit

I have totally stayed away from the 2 exchanges for good and i explore better exchanges.

Yobit.net or Yobit.io

-Shady ICO
-Shady volume
-Shady wallet maintenance
-Selective scamming (Locking user funds)
-Shady YoFarm and Investbox
-Never answers customer support stuff
-High withdrawal fees

Surprising that they are still running nowadays which
there are still people who do trust up this site?

till date I have not been stuck on a scam exchange platform. However, a bad trading history has also happened to me some time ago. because of an urgent need I had to be willing to lose my money on the altcoin I invested which at that time was already down 40% from the first price I bought. So I take the principle of investing how much you can afford to lose.

Great to hear that you haven't scammed yet by one of these trading platforms.
Bad trading is normal to experience as I am certain, most traders experienced the same.
If you are trading only to reputable exchanges, then, you will not likely to encounter being screwed.
But if you try these small exchanges with very low liquidity, high chance that you won't get your funds out.
Lesson - if the exchange has shady reviews and unresolved problems, better not try them.

Yobit is so bad at handling complaints from their users that, they never even reply and resolve them.
Bittrex also takes a long time to complete each complaint from users but they can solve it well only takes a long time.
Hitbtc you will pretty much leave the coin there because a few percent coin you deposited can not be moved into trade balance so it can not be sold, this is very annoy, I don't know if they have changed this.

Didn't they sent you a notice that that coin will be delisted into their exchange? It's common for an exchange to give a notice to all of their users about the upcoming delisting with any token that they've chosen.

How much what was that during that time, the value in fiat that you've lost? Because AFAIK, even they delist it, you should still be allowed to withdraw it.

Honestly all exchanges are a bit wild when I start using them. We have like 6-7 local exchanges in my country, most of which work between banks and crypto so that you could turn your fiat into crypto or vice versa. I have used 3 to 4 so far (I used 3, but the fourth one was just a few time deal and not a long term deal), and all of them had problems.

Basically they just kept the money in their accounts longer than I liked, that was always the issue. When you withdraw money then it should be in your bank account at most in 1 hour, it is just a bank wire, how long could it take, it is a very local one as well anyway.

However, one of them took literally 12 days, 12! and not like they were keeping it as a punishment for not following rules or something, they just said they had a problem with the bank and that's it. It could be true but why would I use a place with a bank problem?

Now I am sharing a bad one I have ever experienced, that one is P2PB2B you must have heard about it. I don't like their buying selling page interface, and they show fake volumes they show fake details. You can check it yourself. Order will not fill but volume will be increasing continuously.

I've got a bad experience in Emirex. Previously, I have some EMRX tokens, so I want to trade them on Emirex exchange. I successfully sold all my EMRX tokens and converted them to USDT. But when I want to withdraw my USDT, I'm surprised that the transfer fees are very expensive, sadly no option for Tron chain. Then, I check the transfer fees of other coins/tokens, I plan to convert my USDT to other coins/tokens if there is a cheaper transfer fee. Unfortunately, there are no differences in other coins/tokens, all have expensive fees. So, till today, I still keep my USDT there.  :D

You can check the transfer fees here: https://kb.emirex.com/fees-structure

Well, the exchange was accused as a scam exchange. Actually, in the beginning, there was no problem for me, but there is so many accusations about this exchange and then they are closed.

Btw, I also don't like some exchanges that pay very high costs for withdrawal, higher minimal withdrawal amount, and also leaving some coins in the exchanges when withdrawal, so I cannot withdraw all coins from the exchanges.
But, I am a little bit forget about the name, which is quite familiar, some exchanges

Hitbtc is one of them and if you do look their withdrawal fees or rates then its on the roof top and same goes with Yobit too.I have experience on using up these platforms since i do need to
sell off some of my coins that i do have in stash and it is only available into these platforms which it would leave no choice but to take risk on making out deposits.
This is why its always better to stick with the best current platforms that we do have in the market today if you dont like to experience possible problems or headaches
in the future.

I am not a big fan of cryptocurrency trading; instead, I prefer to purchase and hold. However, when I worked on a bounty, they would sometimes pay me in strange exchanges that made withdrawal difficult or required a lot of procedures. I only remember selling my coin on the Bitforex exchange, and while I didn't lose any money, it took me a long time to figure out how to withdraw my funds, and it also took a long time to receive my coin after depositing USDT to my Binance account. That's why, when I truly need to acquire a token, I always go to Binance and KuCoin.

If you are using Binance and Kucoin, How you are having a hard time on withdrawing tokens on Bitforex while the process of withdrawal is just really the same. Only the UI is different but the function of withdrawal is in same place which is on the account. Only the KYC is strange there if you deposit above there maximum amount allowed for non KYC user. I agree with you that there approval of withdrawal is a bit slow but not that too slow that longer a day on Binance and Kucoin. There's a lot of worst exchange than that like Livecoin, Yobit and Hitbtc.

Support - that's in fact the most common issue. exchange that takes the extra step to ensure deal with customers complaints no matter how good their exchange platform or system is.
Actually we consider an exchange as good, only if it has all qualities that we want. so good quality exchange wouldn’t have those issues, i believe. Yeah an exchange should take extra step especially so that they could verify customer easily and solve the problem.

Quote
I've experienced deposit not getting credited & frustrating is when there's no one from the exchange's customer support team handling your issue. i usually hesitate before using such exchange.
except some top exchange, this is common problem with most exchanges. Even sometimes they response but annoying is, they behaved badly and don't try to solve the issue, just referring here and there to talk. Although its better than having nobody for response

There really is a time that they act like that, it's not understandable and cannot be tolerated. But it's a fact that someone has responded and it's better to be like that than there's no one that has been answering our questions and queries.
We have to be patient when it comes to this since we're the ones that are needing help. There are those supports that will help you quickly and reacting base on how you treat them, sad but truth.

For me, yobit is the exchange that feels like it can scam me out of my money anytime, although they have never done that but it still feels the same. The customer service is very poor and most of the times they don't even respond to the tickets created, after about 4 to 5 days average time they respond to the tickets that were created. The coins listed there are mostly dead coins or mere pump and dump tokens that are to scam the newbies off of their money, rest the UI isn't that responsive in many low end devices as compared to other more trusted exchanges.

I also learnt from other people exchange experience by not putting all my money on any exchange that will cause me losses in the future.

There are still some exchange that is causing people backward in their investment because of the high gas fee they are experiencing from their exchange transaction which is not making them to make a good profit like other traders in the community. Those traders that experienced scam exchange transaction will do everything possible not to fall victim again in the exchange market.

The worst exchange in my life is coinbene.com because I have few coins which aren’t withdraw because of these are little value. Then all of my little value coins were going to lose. There are another few exchanges which aren’t good because I have buy or invest few coins but after one year or few months, the coins aren’t in the exchange.
AFAIK, that exchange is already closed.

That's the problem with little balances, they won't allow you to withdraw because they have a minimum withdrawable amount. And that rule is being applied to most of exchanges.

It's understandable that you want to withdraw but that rule applies to all exchanges.

So far, I've had a lot of bad exchanges, and most of them have been scams. however, most of the exchanges I've forgotten the name of because of poor service, and became scams. one of them may be a latoken, so far I have several coins there, but have never made a withdrawal until now. however, bad exchanges are very easy to forget.

Did I just read what you just type correctly? Bad exchanges are very easy to forgive! I doubt if you your money has ever been stuck on any exchange, you will coarse that exchange and continue to trash them whenever you come across their name.
Latoken is a poor exchange, and it irritates me when new projects list in their exchange as their first listing because of the low volume, they list anything to earn their share, similar to Coinsbit, another tortoise-like exchange. ;D ;D

Many exchanges I have experience not good for trading from early days. One of exchange is cryptopia which has closed now. I don't like to trade on bithumbglobal echange also because there are buyer and seller margin has big different then you can't control your position. Other exchange is Etherflyer is well so many big drawbacks I found on this exchange. Many exchange goes to scam they have paid my money.
Kucoin, Binance, Pancakeswap exchange are only I love because they are just giving great performance.

I have a great experience of using crypto currency exchanges. My worst experience is that there are lot of exchanges in market that have very low trading volume. And that's why our order did not filled. I will not mentioned here any specific exchange here. But there is a issue with lot of exchanges.
They place there buy order at a price of 95$ . And sell order 105$. When price was at 100$.  But if you placed your buy order at 100$ your order will not filled. You need to buy expensive at 105$. But if price goes down then your order automatically filled. Exchange place their own buy and sell orders

If you are interested, I suggest you look at the list (https://cryptogeek.info/en/exchanges) of the worst cryptocurrency exchanges on this site. Here you can use filters.

Notice that there are a lot of people out there who have problems with most of the exchangers but the problem is that sometimes they respond and sometimes they get annoying and misbehave and we present these problems and solutions.  They don't try to do it, they just mention it here and there to talk, although I think it's better to have no one to respond to.

in my whole life, the worst exchange I ever tried was Yobit, I don't know if now they have improved their site...

Back then, when I was a new user there, the site's response was really slow and there were often errors when I was buying and selling. even once my deposit didn't come in for 2 days into the site and their cs was very slow in responding to my complaint.

Why will you use an unknown exchange when you are already using a known exchange? And using a not known exchange will only put your money at risk. I know there might be features that are not available in a known exchange or a less known exchange is also less stricter but I don't think that is worth the sacrifice. How can a worst exchange be best for others when it's already called worst exchange in the first place? lol.

Binance and other top exchanges can't be called a worst exchange just because you lose or you experience some issues. The problem is with you and not by the exchange and others won't be convinced no matter how you call them a worst exchange.

Well, there's a lot of bad rumors about yobits. I rarely use yobit but personally, as long as I make transactions there, I don't get big problems there except for the fee and the length of the transaction.
however, the exchange that I feel bad about is the latoken. as long as I have certain coins that are only listed there, the price is always unstable, besides that latoken is also famous for manipulated volume. if it's fraud on the exchange maybe it's not like that, but my bad experience at that time was when I had a fididentiax coin on the coss.io exchange, even though if I sold it it might have made me rich, but I still held it, because at that time I was early in cryptocurrency, until eventually the coins became worthless and the exchange was inaccessible until now. and after that i have to be able to move on

I remember a period where EVERYONE in bitcointalk used their signature campaign because they were paying insane amount of money. That was that one right? The amount they were paying were like x2 more than the closest rival, now that other places have seen what it could become, they ended up offering more compared to back in those days, but it was seriously high during those days too.

Moreover, we are talking about something that is getting a bit more dangerous when a place tries to do marketing that way. They obviously had enough money to attract people in regular marketing, but preferred to overpay for signature campaigns, that means not only they expected you to promote them, but also say good stuff about them as well.

Not surprising that people would really be making out feedbacks according into their own experiences on platforms and just like me, i had experienced on using up Yobit which turns out to be not really good considering that some of their alt wallets are having a long time wallet maintainance and basing up on my situation on where it do ended up on 1 week wait time which it causes for me to miss
out on making profits just because the price had already made out some move and since the deposit was late then it is totally no sense on making such sell time.
Plus having no support communication is one of the most common Yobit problem.

Cryptopia and Yobit belong to the bottom of my list.
- Cryptopia because they had low volume and every coins we had seen before most of them probably came from community-voting, so people could list trash coins on there and ask to the community for voting with whatever method they were using at that time. Also there were so many hacked attempts in few years, so the security of this site is questionable.
- Yobit is so bad and I don't know why people still trading on that site. Because most of the coins there are pumped and dumped by bots and the volume is ridiculously low considering they have bots and stuff. Also they have like ponzi scheme and so many shady stuff on that site, so I'd recommend to just stay away from this site.

I believe a token can be airdropped/abundance and compelled to exchange there with numerous issues we know however up to this point I generally keep away from. Mentioning backing and finishing up the gave configurations, for example, connecting verification of exchange, affirmation time, trade address, I have satisfied everything. Be that as it may, the trade didn't tackle my concern till now.

I was tricked by a DEX whose appearance and name are almost similar to PancakeSwap, at first I checked the token at BSC and I received a large amount of tokens and I think this is a reward for the many airdrops I have participated in, when I tried to connect something strange happened because The DEX asked to send the seed or private key by submitting it in the form, at that time I realized it was fake and I closed the site.

That was seriously a big deal here. There were a few people who knew what was going on and kudos to them. The reality is that when marketing is done down to the individual, and not just regular type of marketing where they come here and talk to us, we are talking about paying everyone here. This is why so many people got fooled about them and I agree that they were one of the worst.

However, I have to say cryptsy exchange was one of the worst probably because of what happened. After mt.gox turned out to be a scam, they got almost every other investor, and people were trading there all the time, then they stole all of our money. That was the second biggest scam and I missed mt.gox days but got hit by cryptsy.

There are lots of phishing sites which do copy out these common exchange platforms or swap sites which we should really be careful on dealing with it because it would really be a cause of losing money if we are

able to expose those keys on other people. As for bad trading experience then this is mostly in talks about buy high and sell low kind of situation which im pretty sure that most people are really able to commit on the
same mistakes or experience due to unpredictability of the market but as you do go ahead and learn up experience you would eventually learn on how things been working on this market.

Yobit is indeed a bad place for trading. The reason why many people still trade there is probably that they can get small profits from the high risk of the pump and dump bots. I don't know how possible for those people to get profits from that bad situation in Yobit, but they won't stay there if they never get profits. However, for safety reason, we are better to not follow those people who still survive to trade in Yobit. I really agree that there are too many suspicious things on Yobit, including many fake tokens as well.

I don’t know why anyone would choose to make use of an unknown exchange, that is something that I have never tried since I started trading cryptocurrency. I have always made sure that I’m making use of reliable exchanges and the ones that are well-known in the crypto-currency market.

The exchanges that I have made sure to stick with are binance.com, coinbase.com and these two exchanges has really served me pretty well when it comes to trading cryptocurrency especially binance.com.

I've always considered making use of unknown exchanges as a huge risk because I don't have enough money to risk on all that, so it is best that I just stay safe and not mess around with what I have. I have been scammed once, though not through an exchange, but I wouldn't like to experience that twice.

I've never done that as well.

I make sure that there's a sufficient evidence and review before I try one. But I think the reason behind traders going to a newer or unknown one is due to some promos that they do.

Like they have some special promo that shall give them the chance to earn more aside from their trading profits there. This usually happens and for some, it's likely that they just want to try.

I also had a bad experience when trading on Yobit, one of them I invested in some shit tokens which made my money stuck in the shit tokens
for a long time. The promo airdrops given are often difficult to sell and sometimes some tokens cannot be withdrawn, for various reasons.
In fact, it is very difficult for me to profit trading on Yobit, I don't understand the reason, but it looks like a lot of manipulation going on Yobit.
I haven't used Yobit in about two years, because there are so many problems that I experienced in Yobit. Seems like quite a lot of people are

I've done it before only because I was participating in an altcoin signature campaign at the time and the only way to convert them to bitcoins was by using a less popular exchange.

Other reasons for traders to use another exchange is due to lower requirements like charging smaller fees knowing most of the big exchanges charge a lot when it comes to bitcoin withdrawals. Even though altcoin remains an option there are traders who prefer to cash out their money in bitcoin.

Yeah.

That's how it goes for the others.

Like if it's the only exchange that has those bounty tokens that they've got and they want to have it exchanged there, they're going to sign up for that exchange for that reason.

And after selling those tokens and converting it into bitcoin or any better altcoin, they'll just leave then and won't comeback there again.

The worst experience about the exchange I got on IDAX and COSS, my assets were lost on IDAX because the developer ran away with all the customer assets. I feel bad for your losses, it's our responsibility to do some research before using any service because a lot of people want your money and there's no guarantee that our funds will save with their service. keeping our assets in an exchange for the long term is not recommended from the start and it's better to buy a hardware wallet to increase your security from any phishing or scam. keep that event in your mind so it will become your experience so it won't happens twice.

Making out some initial research doesnt really cost you an arm and leg but still people do really neglect out this very basic principle until they do experience unfortunate events which they might have able to avoid or get rid off earlier if they had just made out some very simple basic thing which is to make out some research. All of the things is on your fingertips and you arent that dumb on not to notice

have lots of issues and complaints.

I also experienced it using the coss exchange. At that time I still had a lot of tokens stored there, until I didn't know the news that this exchange was a scam. I know when I checked the assets on each exchange, and I just found out that this exchange is not accessible again, as a result I lost all the tokens that were there. It's useless to be angry, I used this as a lesson to minimize storing assets on the exchange, there are only a few exchanges that I trust to store long-term, and even then not all that I save, because a personal wallet will be safer in my opinion

If we talk about the Worst exchanger then my words will never end. Thousands of such exchangers are now available online. Some of them are p2pb2b, Hotbit, and many more. Now there are lot of new exchangers which are being created. Some of them are good and most of them are on the bad list.

I had to go through that type of deal back in the day a lot. People may not remember this, but back in the day when a new coin came out, it wasn't listed anywhere at all, we didn't had the luxury that people have today. So for a long time, we exchanged based on trust right here on bitcointalk.

This resulted with a ton of scams of course but it wasn't this global neither so there were few of us and anyone who scammed someone went away and you learned to trade with only high membership people. Long story short, the moment it got listed somewhere, we all went and opened an account in that one, most of those exchanges are gone now, but the memories are still there and cherished.

Are you sure Hotbit is the worst exchange, because I've never had any problems using it. but for p2pb2b I only tried it once and will never want to trade there again because my deposit never reached my account even though the TX transaction was there.

On Hitbtc exchange, there are problem with 2fa which Isn't working several time due to poor security. I also experienced they taking long for kyc approval  amd verify account. As well as fade up with their wallet maintenance issue most of the time. i have used many exchange but never ever experienced transaction fee as high as hitbtc ask. Hitbtc exchange suppose to be created for millionaires only.

i have problem with my login to hitbtc account and email to support but there is no feedback from their team at all. this is the lastest i am using hitbtc and prefer to move my assets to another exchanges, or maybe using decentralized exchanges if my token listed there. beside withdrawl fee, it has minimum trading so we could not sell all our assets. atleast 10 or its multiple must left in exchange,so we if have 10 or even more assets i am believe its equal 20$ that could not traded.

I've never heard good feedback on this exchange. Fortunately, I haven't tried them and never used them at all.
This is one of the good reasons why someone has to check feedbacks and reviews first before using an exchange and it's beneficial doing it because you'll have the idea the issues of an exchange that you check, for example hitbtc as you have said.

Probably 1inch, even though it is a decentralized exchange and not a centralized one, I remembered that this was one of the worst experiences I had. Not because of any hacks or bugs or glitches or any problems. I had that plenty of times and it was bad but after a certain point you do not talk about the places that scammed you, that is like being ready for it anyway and not a big deal and something you expect.

However, 1inch is the worst one that is legit, it is both not a place that aims at scamming you, but at the same time when you want to use it, it has the worse customer experience for sure, no other place really made me hate it so much without having any problems.

The worst experience about the exchange I got on IDAX and COSS, my assets were lost on IDAX because the developer ran away with all the customer assets. Meanwhile, my experience at COSS exchange is that after shutting down the service, suddenly my account cannot be accessed. So I hope you never keep your assets on the exchange for long, because we don't know what they will do with our assets in the future.
The reason I feel so bad for the damage you have done is because it is your responsibility to do some research before using any service but in their own way they are responsible because many people want your money  No, but because of that, it is not recommended to invest in us in the long run.

The worst exchanges I've ever used in my opinion are LAToken and P2PB2B, not that I'm badmouthing these two exchanges,
but indeed from my experience these two exchanges have a bad reputation, because of the small volume,
and withdrawals from these exchanges are also quite long, yes more either trade on exchanges like Binance, or Kucoin

It's not about the exchangers that you see but it's about the exchangers that you personally use only as what is being said in the title. You mentioned hotbit, I have tried using this exchange before and my experience was good. All transactions went smoothly but I don't get it why someone claims that hotbit is a bad exchange? Urgh, I think their standard are just high. They have use a really high quality exchange such as binance and they compare it with this exchange.

I haven't used p2pb2b but anyway for the worst exchange I think that would be poton exchange. Not sure if the spelling is correct as ive only use this once before. I say worst because I mistakenly traded my token for just a cent. That token would have worth thousands of dollars, few days later.

I also had a bad experience on LAtoken and and Yobit exchange. these two exchanges often list tokens that have no liquidity, even I have bought tokens that were only registered for 1 day there and no longer have liquidity. if you want to buy a token that has the right liquidity then don't buy it at latoken or yobit, it's better to buy or trade on binance, kucoin or FTX.

As far as I know for listing they want some amount of money and with that you have a certain volume made with bots. Now that is bad for normal people who want to buy something and end with worthless token.

What you have typed correctly here is that it is very easy to do bad things but what seems to be a doubt here is that I suspect that your money has ever been stuck in any exchange but you will not thicken the modesty that you can see their name then.   They will continue to do NIT poor exchange and it is annoying when it comes to projects with them have their winning lists from there you can choose another like them due to their small size.

I know the gamble that it has and I'm not able to put it all on the line. I have perused a ton of terrible encounters that caused me to understand that it's smarter to stick into the known and respectable trades. I have insight on obscure trades, I have never experienced it however I never only for my everyday exchanging. A great many people in this discussion these days likely haven't caught wind of it. It was so leggy and slow, it would me its clients vomit.

Would really be just normal for us to test out various or countless kind of strategies when we do make out some trades which is really a default or not surprising action made by us and since this
market is really that unpredictable and that random then it is really just a normal condition that we would really testing out various strategies or simply this would involved lots of trial
and errors which is a very common experience for us traders and i dont see any problems for this. For worst experience this is most likely talking about human errors due to emotional aspect
or been influenced by others.

from that mistake we can learn to fix the shortcomings, so that what we do in the future will be better. and this is an experience, by accumulating a lot of this experience, we will naturally have instincts in trading, and this is something that cannot be learned in theory, of course by increasing our trading practice we will understand by itself. On the other hand, by choosing a good exchange, we can at least secure our funds, because there are many cases where exchanges close and take away their customers' money

LAToken does have a bad reputation, especially Yobit, very little liquidation in these two markets,
not many people trade there, and I don't think the funds there are safe, that's just my opinion, but these two markets are still running,
I don't know, and it's true. what it says that Kucoin and Binance are the best markets for now

No matter how good an exchange may be there is always a time you experience difficulty or maybe temporary issue. Although, i don't use alot of exchange but i had a terrible experience using P2pb2b and yobit. I always enjoy using Binance and KuCoin and at times Coinsbit, they have always served me well in all aspect.

Binance is one exchange I have sworn never to send my funds to ever again. I had one horrible experience using this exchange. Their p2p exchange is  not automatic but rather customized which makes it even more easier for newbies to get cheated. And with their full alliance with the Nigerian government making even more stricter and tighter KYC demands

Yes, binance, kucoin, coinbase are a good quality of exchange. But there are few exchanges which are harmful for trader. I face and lost my balance from there exchanges such as- coinbene, whitebit and mexc, I invest few new coins but they email me as a short time or withdrawal problem or not available the coins and lost my balance.

I use MEXC, and there are no problems with balance and withdrawals. You have to pay attention to the assets that you send.
Other exchanges that I think are bad are LaToken and P2PB2B. I avoid this exchange as much as possible. I also heard Yobit is an exchange that frequently cheats its members through new tokens. I've never tried it, and I'm not interested in an exchange with a bad reputation.

In some obscured exchanges I had a bad experience. Like coinexchange, yobit, bitgrail. They have a long withdrawal time. The others are mercatox, tradeorge because of their bad using design.

Currently, I'm not using those and rather using more well know exchange like Binance and local exchanger which has a physical office where I can go for just an hour if I had trouble

What are you doing trying all these nonsense ones lol

I mean sure back in 2017 we were all playing guessing games, trying new coins and new exchanges. I definitely used Yobit once or twice. Remember when Poloniex was big?

But with Binance or say even Coinbase (if you're lucky to be American) serving practically the whole world and no problems (unless you find KYC a problem) there's no reason to use something else these days.

The worst exchange I've ever traded on is Mercatox. I lost my 2FA couple years back and every efforts made to have it retrieved proved abortive as their customer service is way too poor to handle customer complaints.

Moreover, long before I lost my 2fa code, I never for once traded a single coin successfully as liquidity on the exchange used to always be low, in which made the price always lower for sell compare to the standard market price in other exchanges. And if you try to make a withdrawal, they would be ready to cut-off your head with transaction fee.

Mercatox has been my worst nightmare...!
