Title: [EXPERIMENT] Selfless Miner Experiment
Post by: Anonymousg64 on March 27, 2014, 12:44:41 AM
I am trying to get an experiment going with ZEIT, a PoW/PoS coin

the goal is to observe market impact of maintaining low profitability with a high network hashrate of selfless miners

the hypothesized affects:
-miners who mine for immediate profit will be weeded out
-coins will be more distributed
-subjective minimum sell value will rise
-market input rate will drop

Does selflessness and cooperation lead to more overall profit then self-interest short term profit maximization?

Coin pumping doesn't belong in this sub-forum, regardless of how you spin it.
