Do you mean how to find a promising project? This is quite a daunting task because it is very difficult to find something really worthwhile from a large variety of proposals. Even an in-depth analysis of a project does not guarantee that it will be successful. Search and find, but for this you have to revise a lot of information.

Thats a broad topic. But if you are long time here, at least you can understand how those scammers operate. Some airdrops are hard to discern whether they are scam but as we proceed or check those styles we can see that we are wasting our time on those fake airdrops.

I am a long time airdrop hunter here before, actually still join some but of course I am very keen on joining those sweet drops.

I guess the Bitcointalk Forum is the right place for you to find potential ICO projects. But beware because not all ICO projects are good for investment. Just visit the "Altcoins bounty section" of this forum, where you can find many active projects that currently doing an ICO just do a little check about the project that you want to get involved to minimize the risk.

Anyway, forget those so-called airdrops because most of them are just a bunch of useless tokens. It's a complete waste of time most of them are fake and not paying.

You can find so many icos through this forum and some websites but what's your plan to find airdrop or ico project? None knows about how much airdrop can give you money coz it's random and totally depend with the price of token and how much you have been receiving your airdrop. It has so many answers and that anyone has different experience with various airdrop.
You can try to think by yourself but to be honest these days airdrop are not worth anymore and that will be only wasting your money.

Your information is quite outdated, ICO is not popular anymore, if there is, it's most likely just a scam project.

if you are looking for a project to invest in, you should look at their announcement thread here - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=159.0
You will see a lot of projects listed and not all of them are legit, so you should DYOR before investing.

I got everything on the telegram channel. We will always share our ico and airdrops where when we first got into cryptocurrency, it was great to have so many friends here, I was able to learn a lot from them. You can find the airdropfinder channel that is the channel that I follow.

Free airdrops are available on coinmarketcap but it takes lot of luck to get paid, talking from experience at one time I had to give up, another good one is airdropbob and airdrops.io they do pay sometimes but many won't pay, new projects of today are even finding it hard to pay airdrop promoters this is a shame

It's funny that someone is still talking about ICO in 2021, ICO died a long time ago and got replaced by IEO and IDO, I prefer airdrops from Dex swaps like uniswap, paraswap and others like it, just find new swap projects and start making transactions on them, the best thing about this is the reward is always huge, 400$ to 16,000$ yes you heard that right

I understand that for newbies which do not have a lot of money airdrops and new coins seem like the way to go as the profits that in theory they can get are enormous, however things are never that simple, finding a good project to invest in or a good airdrop in which you can participate is probably one of the hardest things you can try in this market, and the reason for that is the huge number of scams available in the market, and since you are a newbie I do not think you have what it takes to find them even if you were to receive advice about how to do that.

I think it's better to leave airdrops, airdrops are currently very difficult because most organizers choose or raffle winners, like the one on coinmarketcap, winners are only 1000 but participants are more than 1.5 million, it's better to join  bounty in this forum.

I also found a lot of airdrops on the telegram channel, namely airdropfinder, but looking for potentially good airdrops is like looking for a needle in a haystack, because most airdrops circulating are scams, only a few airdrops actually give us prizes and usually the team organizers do this. lottery to get the winner.

ICO is dead and long forgotten as for airdrops I use telegram channel called airdrop ninja just make sure you don't pay a dime to get a free airdrop this is complete scam, airdrops are supposed to be 100% free, you can find the project's telegram group and ask if they have airdrop campaign, this way you will be able to know if the airdrop is real or not.

Airdrops? Well, that was not hard to know if they are scams as the majority of them are scams as well. Maybe, ICO projects but not all of them are worthy.

I guess you have to forget about airdrop as it was just a waste of time and effort. If you were looking for projects where you can make a profit, then you must have not going to choose ICO either. I suggest investing in new platforms as they are having a huge chance to pump than these ICOs that are already obsolete and dying.

ICOs are no longer popular and it is very rare for projects to hold ICOs just because the sale will definitely not be interested because of the rampant fraud since the first so ICOs are no longer a good investment.
But you need to wake up because there are many types of investment variants in the current project, you just need to follow the existing developments because each project is certainly different in what you want to invest.

If you want an airdrop, you just have to join the telegram channel. Airdrop almost every day, the airdrop is always there, just choose the one that's good for you.

it's very hard to find legit airdop mate, unless if see it from trusted projects because for sure there's no problem with it and probably worth it to participate . And by the way try to check CMC maybe there are some, wherein instead of looking other sites around the internet because you know there are some frauds and scam project, so it's not safe. Just be aware mate.

I don't think you can find some free candy now like before. Because most of these projects are fraudulent but there is a way that requires a lot of effort and stay connected to the internet and follow most private social media sites for the trusted projects listed CMC and Github.!!! Usually they give free distribution of a good amount over $100 via a snapshot or First by retweeting, they are distributed to the top five.
And good luck ;)

Hard or it's more like impossible? It was hard before, now it's beyond that, I think that time of airdrops and ICO's is behind us! I mean, maybe there can be some hidden gem, but chances for that are very low! I stopped paying attention a long time ago, now I read about something here and there, but I don't participate, there's nothing interesting that can draw my attention!

I had an experience with some airdrop that was posted in the Bounties section. I still recall bookmarking some of it, because why not? It is free money, right? Right? Well I learned the hard way on most of these airdrops would either just scam you or the opposite, try to steal your wallet away from you.
I can't remember the exact airdrop name of that one, but it has "lunch" word into it.
I inputted my information, joined their stupid TG group, and found out that I was already recorded in their spreadsheet which should just happen since the form still takes response.

After couple of hours, I checked my email which was a junk/disposable email address which thankfully the one I used. They wanted me to claim my token to their website and that is where they get fishy. They attempted to steal my wallet through their MEW phishing site. Welp, reported the website and thankfully the hosting site decided to take it down.

You can check CoinMarketCap for newly listed tokens, which are more likely to have airdrops etc.

You can also go to a site that is specifically designed to keep track of these projects, for example ICODrops.com.

I would caution you though because it is incredibly difficult to score a good project at the right price these days, and 9 out of 10 times you are going to lose your money no matter how good the marketing is.

The lucrative airdrop this days has some expenses attached with them. We have decentralized exchange airdropping their governance tokens to their community but you must have been an active trader on their exchange to have received the privilege of claiming this airdrop. Apart from this others that involves you referring your friends or doing some task on social media are mostly worthless. Users that are privilege to recieve this tokens, make some decent return trading them to BTC or stablecoin.

As for ICO, there are platforms that are created for this purpose and we have launchpad that offer access to new tokens. For the launchpad, majority required you to stake their own token so you just have to read about how to participate in IDO with those platforms and get familiarize with that ti increase your chances of getting into new project. Don't blindly invest in this new projects, carryout due diligence to avoid falling victim to fraudster.

Joining airdrops has nothing to do with us, we are simply just wasting our time on them coz, in the end, you will just receive shitcoins with no market value. How this could make any sense? of course, not.
I think you have to move on and look for something potential and also to save your precious time. Airdrops and these ICO are not worthy anymore. I hope you would listen to us and open your mind that there are no such rewarding moments from them unlike in the old days where these things are very known.

If I personally look more at the project team and project collaboration partners so that if both of them are very good, then they will also choose a third party or parties who will promote it are people who are already great and well known, and that makes me more confident to the project or Airdrop, because not everything can be very good.

You may visit this site mate https://icomarks.com/airdrops but can't assure that you've got airdrop coins that are worth selling nor it have value. And I like to remind you that these airdrops are mostly scams, even it was listed on the site I've mentioned. To tell you that don't ever make blame me or the others as we warned you in the first place.

And talking about ICO, actually, they're done already. 2017 is the year for ICO, not this present time. You can still find some of them but they are not profitable anymore unlike joining and investing in new platforms.

You can also use Icolistingonlime, topicolist for legit ICO.

You can use this web-site so as to monitor upcoming, active and ended ICOs https://icodrops.com/. Also there are different telegram chats where bloggers post news about new presales and airdrops, but the thing is that you had better get the information as soon as possible, so it is better to monitor new activities by yourself. You can also find new airdrops and participate in them on coinmarketcap.

Twitter is filled with tons of airdrops but I don't join often because most are scams as they just need members to grow their twitter handle and their telegram and discord server. Surely I have enjoyed good airdrop from surfing twitter because most of my friends and topics I follow on twitter are crypto and tech, so I get feeds from these disciplines. Bitcointalk forum is a better place for bounty projects, where you can grow your crypto capital from $0 to as much as you aspire.

The easiest is to look on these sections.
1. Announcements (Altcoins) (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=159.0)
2. Tokens (Altcoins)  (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=240.0)
3.  Bounties (Altcoins)  (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0)
The clue if they're new is when they've got fewer pages. And to know if they're legitimate or a scam, you can read the replies of other members on those threads.

We must know as early as possible if we're joining a trusted and legit project because, to be honest, scam projects are everywhere these days.

This forum is a good place to verify the value of a project running an airdrop but such topics are not in their heyday with lively discussion, it takes a lot of days to get the comments, besides, quite a few airdrops and ICOs mentioned also get no response when people are no longer aiming for such values, current value is no longer in the point of fairness to the user, only for those with passion and hoping for good luck every year. Many hours of searching and labor on ICOs and airdrops also don't add too much of an account percentage, taking this time for investment research and bounty can sometimes increase by more percentages

Some of the Airdrops that I follow on the twitter and telegram channels are proven to pay off, but you only get a small part of the profit because the amount of prizes you get will adjust to the number of participants, for ICOs, do a lot of research before joining, because there are many ICOs that you will see, make sure you use the experience you have if you want to invest

OP, let me save you the stress and tell you straight up that searching for meaningful airdrops is a waste of time. You're a newbie and may not have had any nasty experience before now concerning airdrops, I hope you heed to the pieces of advice users are dropping here for you. Most of those airdrops are often in disguise to steal your personal data, and sometimes even phish and hack your wallet too through links that contain malware. The only credible airdrop I know of as it stands now are those ones given by some launchpads to their tier holders. So, if you want airdrops from time to time you've to get in on the highest tiers of these launchpads for their IDOs.

CMC based airdrop doesn't guarantee that your will be a winner. It more like a lottery system. But, if you are looking for authentic airdrop then CMC is good. Also in 2021 ICO has virtually no use as most platform prefer IDO. You can check Coinlist for both ICO and IDO apart from CMC.

Finding out a legit airdrop or An ICO is not so easy. It's very hard to because most of them are scams. There are a ton of airdrops available but most of them are scams. If you get some coins, They will be worth $0. Because most of them can't able to get listed at any exchange. In my MEW at least 100+ airdrop coins are still available. But A few months ago I have joined Catena x airdrop, And they provide me 50 Catena x. I had sold them at 1$.29 rate. It was very easy money. I found the airdrop from the telegram group and from this forum(bounties section). He can check this website https://airdropalert.com/ to get the latest Airdrop and Airdrop info

Now days Instead of ICO, IDO and IEO are very popular. A lot of people make huge money from IDO/IEO. But my luck is not good for it. A few of my friends make huge bucks from IDO. In this forum, Social media is a good way to find out ICO. But before making any investment don't forget to do your own research.

Finding legit airdrop maybe you can see on twitter official account and always see their update, exactly with exchange market usually give an airdrop doing KYC task, deposit few dollar and have event airdrop with exchange market like trading competition, if you reach trade amount like 2,000$ you are available to earn reward and distribution based on their schedule, usually I joined free airdrop and doing task with telegram channel but not sure with all airdrop can distribution on time and have value for their coin.

Before, there are tons of announcements you can see on the altcoin section of this forum, but there are still some who are using the altcoin section as announcement of their airdrop.
But for me, you can try to use Twitter and follow different people or Twitter handle that is about airdrop or news about a particular network, for example, Solana, if you will just search on Twitter, you will see a lot of Twitter users that are related with Solana, there are some Twitter account that is for news, and you try to follow that.

I do not know if this website helps or not, but you can try to claim the airdrops here:
https://airdrops.io/
https://airdropalert.com/
https://earni.fi/

I am not searching for the airdrop so I do not know much about the airdrop. But be careful because I heard some airdrops can contain malware that can affect and steal the funds in our wallet but I do not know how it can be. You need to check the airdrops before you claim the token, just to make sure that the airdrops are safe to claim.

how to check scam or real...
I wonder why no one has posted this links that pertains to identifying airdrop or some kind of ICO.

- 🌍 Guidelines, how to spot a scam ICO & report effectively. ✔ (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5004397.0)

Also, keep in mind that penetrators has also found a way to drain your wallet using airdrops which is kinda new method in which hackers does not need to have your private keys in order to steal your assets.

- [Scam Alert] Beware of Airdrops that will drain tokens out of your address (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5350998.0)

Just to be safe though, you can just use a throwaway wallet when you are going to participate in airdrop to avoid such incidents.

I have to say bounties section here is as godo as any if you really want to earn something meaningful. Most of them already have a pre-sale coming up or already past their presale stage, so you need to look at that. If you are getting free airdrop there is a 99.99% chance that it will be something worthless whereas if you are investing into a new project then the bounty section here is filled with them.

I am not saying that you need to work for them, you could do that if you want to and earn something, but you could also check when their presale is and when their release date is and their whole roadmap and whitepaper and all of that will be there. So, you will find something you can invest and brand new.

Same old questions every time. I believe that this question has been asked and answered several times in this forum. If you’re looking for legit ICO to be part of, the first thing that you have to look into is the team that are running the ICO.  It is very important that you get to know who the team are and what they are all about. If it’s a team that’s hiding their identity, then that’s an issue.

You have to avoid any project that seems too shady,. Try to check out their social media platforms and get to know each member of the team and if they what they claim to be,by checking how well that their profiles matches what they have said on their website. If it doesn’t seem like they are really who they claim to be, then you should avoid the project. The next thing is that you should learn more about that project, read the whitepaper.

If you wanna find legit airdrop and then you can try to follow CMC or participate in the even that already published by CMC. You can also find the list of upcoming airdrop through some legit sites as well. The problem is how good your analyzation to make sure you will not be wasting your time for airdrop. If you have enough money you can try to do various activities related to the swap or sign up on the platform that was potentially doing an airdrop. I have been receiving some airdrops a few days ago like SOS, TNS and many more. These airdrop needs a lot of effort but if you can do that properly and you will get bunch of money.
The participants of SOS and TNS airdrop have been getting decent money from using the platforms. You can try to do this to get legit airdrop but identifying which platforms that will be issuing its tokens to the market.
Dapp radar was also doing airdrop in the past.

There is a lot of ICO and airdrop you can find it in either bounty board or in the announcement section but there is a lot of ways to look for ICO and airdrop. One helpful way is by looking at the Twitter where most of the announcements were made on it as well as looking for news and articles about upcoming project and possible Airdrop as well as initial review and insight about the project.

Getting the scenario to know a scam project is good, and you can get aquatinted to know it perfectly if you are consistent in the community, because noticing an airdrop that the project is in shambles can only take place by scrutinizing or perusing into the site and research for the development of the project by making different inquiring, from the observation and what the site trying to put you through, you will be able to know if the airdrop is scam or real project.

As I know coinmarket cap has a tab where they show new startup projects that's token sale is going to happen in the future. Many new projects listed their project there so that could be a good place to find new startup projects. They have an airdrop section also. You can Use another platform called dappradder. This platform actually operates with dapps so you can track every new project there also along with the latest crypto market update.

This forum and joining in telegram groups that are active in the discussion about bounties or airdrop can be a big help. Before I just follow threads here in the bounty section to see if there are campaigns that also run bounties, unlike before that by just registering we can gain in airdrop now can be too troublesome so better join only on projects that have a good background and review, better find related threads about them here in forum.
Yes, by joining this forum and with telegram groups related to airdrops or bounties it is very helpful to get the latest information,
actually it comes back to the preferences of each person because in this day and age it is easy to find information

finding the airdrop that is worth your time and commitment has been a controversial topic over time, some out there primarily use people to draw traffic to their project but fails to meet up with their own side of the bargain. though one can actually find good airdrops and ICO projects here on bitcointalk forum and twitter but in anything you do always use the Russian proverb "trust but verify" and DYOR

We also need to take into account that things have changed since the ico craze that we saw in 2017, now many of those airdrops are asking for your personal information with the excuse they need you to pass their KYC policies, but it is nothing than yet another scam, if you give your documents to those people you can be sure those documents are going to end up in the dark web and will be sold to criminals, and it does not matter how high the value of the airdrop could get, it will never be as valuable as your personal information.

Airdrop doesn’t guarantee any profit at all and most of the airdrop now requires you to pay some fees so if you are ready for that risk, then you can participate on that airdrop. Looking for a good project will always take time, analyze it well so you will know if you are going to invest or not. If you’re lucky enough, you might participate on good airdrop that pays good profit, just keep on looking for that.

Maybe after the release of new coins in the same place where most people look at the rate of coins. There is also a resource that names according to what you need ICO, they show the risks of projects and what amount of investments what kind of team and what goals are in front of the projects.

You can participate in the airdrop on CMC or from the project's website. Currently, many projects choose to distribute by lottery. You need a lot of luck.

I will always follow binance exchange for my airdrops because they always pay, their airdrop campaigns only requires you to hold a certain amount of a certain token to get a new token sent to you for trade or for withdrawal it's that simple but for the fact that you will surely get paid that's why I'm sticking with binance

very easy to find ICO, or airdrop. there are so many sites for that, and besides, most ICOs will have airdrops, you just need to browse their official telegram. one site that provides information about ICOs is https://coinmarketcap.com/ico-calendar/
there provides information about when or how long the ICO will run. for other information, you just need to find out by using the link provided, such as the official website to search for telegram, social media, youtube, and others, and start looking for information there.
it's just that, in this case, it is very difficult to determine which ICO is legit or not. Personally, I look at the market or partnership of the project. if the project has a well-known and popular partnership, and it is acknowledged on the official website or social media of the partnership, it can minimize the risk, and may be quite feasible to follow. however, everyone has their own standards in determining this. however, it all starts with gathering information.

I don't have a problem if you guys want to spend real money or believed an airdrop or ICO would give you a profit then go for it but I'm done with these different types of project and following here and there to acquire a certain token. Yet, at the end, the real investors only will get the rewards and the ones who accept tokens will be on-hold or will be holding a bag of shitcoins later.

I hope someone realize it already that not all airdrop or ICO projects is an easy money. Before you notice that it was a scam it's already too late and it has been happening in the past yet some people don't learn at all.

There are many sources that we can use as references to make decisions when investing in ICOs, and in my opinion the best ones are ICOs that have been listed on exchanges such as Huobii, gate.io and so on, when listing on exchanges, investors are not afraid to look for exchanges again because there are many ICOs who have difficulty listing when the ICO is over.
Now there is a better choice if investors are afraid of ICOs that have not been listed, for example IEOs, IDOs and others even though the concept is almost the same as ICOs, but it also doesn't have a significant impact and in general the exchanges must have been prepared beforehand first through the project roadmap.

Not doing this anymore after ICO hypes are already done, jus sparing some investment with NFT, especially those

Yes, That's the point. Most of the Airdrop is a scam, and their target is also to do scams with people. I have a lot of coins in my wallet. Even not yet used that wallet at any airdrop. But scammer just sends me some coin and if I want to sell those coin I need to visit their website. But after the visit, they will ask you to do connect your wallet or they will ask for your private key/Phrase. If you just follow the step, you will get a scam.

So before joining any Airdrop or before selling any coins or claiming any airdrop we need to be more and more careful. I have seen a lot of people already lose their money by scammer. But they learned from their mistake.

I really can't tell, I base on the bounty manager who is holding the project. Basically the trusted the better because if the manager smells something fishy, he will confront the team that hired him and if there are anomalies, he would stop the bounty until further notice. That way we can know how trusted the project is or the airdrop given. Aside from airdrop why don't also try to join the campaigns of the ones you are following. You can track social status records and follower and a lot more to judge the team whether they are doing well.

Some are real but they give you a very small amount, I can't say that all airdrops are not the best, there are parts of airdrops that you easily get for a good project.

Until now I am no longer interested in airdrops, sometimes they pay but many don't want to pay.

I've heard some members here, they succeeded in airdrop or ICO, if I'm not mistaken they are talking about UniSwap.

To find out if an airdrop is a scam or not, I think it's difficult to know something like that, because the airdrop is usually good at the beginning when money has been collected through the ICO, they run away, I think if you are looking for a clean airdrop it depends, if you are lucky you can be successful and if you are cheated you sell out, luck.

It is very difficult to tell the difference between ico scam and not but you can reduce the risk by checking the project team and the partners of the project.
how much profit does the airdrop make? talking about how much money is made from the airdrop depends on the fate and the number of your referrals because most airdrops currently use a random system and referrals. if you are still a beginner you should not participate in ico, just participate in airdrops and bounties.

It is very true what you say, the Airdrops of now are not as good as those that were in 2017, now to participate in an Airdrop that can really give benefits is very difficult, because as you say, the best thing is to have a capital to be able to enter the pre-sales (previously enter a whitelist) and once there you can have an aspiration to buy cheaper and be able to sell in the public sale, and that is considered a quick net profit, although there are many ICO projects that do not occur , but it is also necessary to review the whitepaper very well, see who is supporting the project to once decide to put the money there.

Of course we have to be careful in researching partners and teams. By being able to distinguish official images or not, now many projects have photos of the team, but not the original results of the team, but data that was stolen. And partners are like that, they just put up a photo of a collaborative project, but the original doesn't exist, I always look for a truly official source from that party, in order to avoid big risks later.?

There is nothing that is not worth following in the crypto world in my opinion, everything is quite potential, ranging from bounties, airdrops and other events. People who choose to take part in these free events because they don't have the money to attend events that cost money, like the trading competition you said.

Based on my experience, I get satisfactory results as long as I follow the bounty and airdrop. there's nothing wrong with following everything in crypto.

This, the state of airdrops is terrible, there was a time in which some people were able to claim a lot of airdrops and in fact got some decent profits, but since then the quality of the average ico has gone down dramatically while the requirements you need to claim an airdrop have gone up considerably while the size of the rewards themselves have gone down, so with all of this in mind it is better for anyone that is interested in this to just give up and find another way to try to make money in the market.

It is hard to find a good airdrop right now, because the number of cryptocurrency projects has decreased over last years. Instead of doing a real projects, people prefer now to make another dex, nft game and etc. As well as it becomes expensive to distribute anything. The cost of attracting one investor through airdrop or bounty programs is less than a transaction. Mass invites or army of bots (to make project or group more popular) has became so cheap, that doing it through airdrops is a waste of money.

Basically there was a time in which collecting airdrops was a viable strategy for those that wanted to get some tokens but at the same time they did not had any kind of money to begin their journey in this market, but since then many changes have come to the industry to the point of making airdrops obsolete, something that should not surprise us at all as this is the same that happened to faucets, and people simply accepted the fact faucets were not a good way to get satoshis anymore and moved on.

You are right, the Airdrops are not the same anymore, as it was in 2017 which was very profitable, now there are many that are obtained but never pay, in coinmarketcap it is different there if they pay the airdrops with certain tasks but what they give are very things minimum in dollars, around 1 to 3 USD, and it really is not profitable because they put many tasks to do and if you do some in the wrong way they do not even pay you, for now the best way I have found to make money but with high risk is buying tokens in presale and sell them in public sales.

But I remind you that not all airdrops are the same as what you want, sometimes it can be said that you are lucky to find them.

Because you got only 1% chances to get rewarded for the efforts and time that you are providing to them.

I had spent years on different bounty hunting and all such coins and tokens are not being traded on any exchange. I still hold the tons of shitcoins and tokens.

Always work for definite rewards which can be paid in BTC or fiats or in any reputed coin and if you are getting paid in altcoins then immediately convert them into bitcoin and hold it for years then your time and efforts will increase ten fold for every four years.

This is the way to go, after all there was a time in which looking for airdrops was a legitimate strategy to get some coins without investing money in them, but those days are over, besides now many airdrops require that you give personal information to them in order to receive your airdrop, and while this is supposedly being done as a way to stop cheaters at the same time it is a huge risk as it is likely that your personal information will end up being sold in the markets of the dark web, and to me no amount of money is worth to have your information moving in those markets.

the Airdrops are not the same anymore, as it was in 2017 which was very profitable, now there are many that are obtained but never pay, in coinmarketcap it is different there if they pay the airdrops with certain tasks but what they give are very things minimum in dollars, around 1 to 3 USD, and it really is not profitable because they put many tasks to do and if you do some in the wrong way they do not even pay you, for now the best way I have found to make money but with high risk is buying tokens in presale and sell them in public sales.
That is mainly due to ETH not being viable on small giveaways anymore. Even when projects are giving out money in BNB, they are still spending awful a lot of money. For example sending could cost as high as $1 on peak times (rarely) but if they do it at that time on BSC, you are looking at 10k dollars if they distribute tokens to 10k people.

Not saying that it will cost that much, could be 50 cents to send, could be less or more, but in the end it is thousands of dollars just to give free tokens. If people pay it themselves then they see it as a scam for some reason, not that network fees goes to project creators so that is not the case. Nobody really wins these days, airdrops are a lose-lose situation no matter how you approach it, in most networks at least (the biggest ones).

That's the sad truth, the days for ICO are already over, they were successful last 2017 to 2018 but everything went soar when the market undergo into a long correction where only a few altcoins survived. Better follow the trend now as they are mostly bringing profits to investors, don't go with the old platform as it will only result in a loss.

Dang $350? That's really like a lot if converted in my local currency. I guess people are still looking for them still after all. I had stopped joining those as what I stated in this thread previously.
It is just not worth the risk anymore.
Had you sold the tokens already though or were you still holding it at that value right now?

Google is your friend my friend but speaking of having some common spot on where to look for ICO projects then this forum alone would be sufficient.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0

https://icodrops.com/
https://icobench.com/
https://topicolist.com/

You could also search up with these things too.

It is interesting that after so much time people are still looking to make profits with airdrops and icos, as you say there was a time in which a decent amount of money could be made with both of them, but those days are never coming back, after all when the majority of those that participated in icos and altcoins got scammed many times over at some point they just get disappointed with the results they got and have no option but to stop as they cannot afford to waste their time and money anymore.

Those who missed past airdrops for the reason that they did not know anything about cryptocurrency at that time are trying to catch up. The main reason for the search for airdrop is that those who are engaged in this do not have the initial capital and are trying to get it in this way.

Any ICO checker websites will do. You can't determine if the project will be a scam or not unless they are showing obvious scam traits right at the beginning. I'm really amazed that there are still people who like to follow projects holding ICO. There are still good projects out there but we need good research to catch those.

Your first stop at doing research is by engaging with your fellow followers on their social media platforms like Telegram. See others' feedback and reviews but be vigilant at those users who are just there to shill the project.

Of course it's the same if it's converted into my local currency, more than enough is enough for one month's needs.
Sometimes I'm also bored to do airdrop work but this time the results are quite satisfactory.
When me sell at the same time when you are first listing on the MEXC exchange and the pumping is in progress, the value is quite large, if we hold it until the present value it will decrease even more badly, the current price will continue to fall.

mostly I find airdrop prizes are from the telegram channel shared by the community we have, in other words that the community will direct us to find potentially good airdrop gifts at a price

You are right, what should be learned is that you have to keep up with trends, in 2017 it was the Airdrops, in 2021 it was the NFT, I think that now what will rule will be the metaverses, that is, games in metaverses , and this can lead to having Airdrops and a series of things that can combine to make it much more explosive, of course starting from the point of view that the NFTs are successful when they have improved their internal economy 100%, otherwise I think not.

And of the few referrals for Airdrops only one or two have a good price or value, while the rest are of no value at all and just become scams in the end, so why would you want to waste time on Airdrops?

This is a serious overwhelming errand since it is undeniably challenging to track down something truly advantageous from an enormous assortment of recommendations. Indeed, even a top to bottom investigation of a venture doesn't ensure that it will be effective. A few airdrops are difficult to observe whether they are trick however as we continue or check those styles we can see that we are squandering our energy on those phony airdrops.

None of that can be ascertained. but if you want to get information about Airdrop or ICO you can go to telegram channels related to ICOs and airdrops because there are so many channels that preach about ICOs and airdrops. The profits can't be estimated sometimes they can't be sold sometimes very big just from joining a community.

Following an airdrop or ICO project we cannot be completely sure that the project can get maximum results, if an airdrop can run well and can reach the target then the reward we receive is also very large, and this is also the same in following an ICO project, but we also find it difficult to predict if a project is good or scam because all their whitepapers are good and we are also often stuck in scam projects, But this is all at our risk.

yes, now there is a lot of information through the telegram network about airdrops and ICOs, you are right. just go there and look for detailed and clear information will be obtained. because telegram has become the most effective medium of information for every new or growing project to date.

But when it comes to prospects, I clearly agree with you, it's difficult to make accurate predictions because it's possible to get very good results, but not a little just as a sweetener. but the ICO will still be better, and it could very well be a potential return in time, if there is a proper improvement.

By observing the behavior of those many AirDrop and ICO's you'll be able to identify which project might have potential.

More on it are just fakes and scam while some may give you decent but the chances are too slim
you needed to understand on how to move forward each time you failed.

It's better to continue and keep tracking potential projects than duelling with mistakes each time you suffer
from being scam or not being paid.

there are so many social media that provide information about airdrops such as telegram with detective bounty for example, and also on social twitter which always provides the latest info every time,,
.it's often to open your social media about airdrops or giveaways which are now being present in many twitter tweets about nFt..
maybe that's what I think..it's very different from before when I joined the airdrop, which you have to always join the tread on this forum.

The problem of finding AirDrop and ICO is practically non-existent now. Around the mass of information from social networks and telegrams. The biggest problem is to choose something worthy from the mass of offers, something that can then bring profit comparable to your time spent.
