I just thought to share this as it came into my mind, having the knowledge that so many persons would go into spending this period in the name of having fun and enjoying the fruits of their labour since the beginning of the year, I just thought to share it with y'all that after this season, your normal life begins and then how bad or good you where able to handle this season would Dawn on you.

Don't go into impressing anyone so they'll see that you've made it or arrived at your financial freedom, only spend what you're sure to be able to spare, above all ensure to spread love to each and everyone for that is the essence of the season.

Your advice has been sounded in several different places and threads here and it's apt. But I still won't be shocked if many here overlook it. Users may say it's their earnings and sweat and they are free to spend their cash as it pleases them. Well, from the point of an investor; it's a wrong mindset to spend without saving. What's the essence of gathering wealth from January through November only to squash all in December. Come to even think of it, the whole festivity period of Christmas is just a week long in December. So, why waste 51 weeks of solid planning just to satisfy a week? It doesn't make sense, at all. People should be well guarded and spend wisely.

In my case my new beginning after this season is in the middle cause there's bad thing and good things.
The bad thing is I was hit by the typhoon my house washout  I don't know where to start it's hard to find some electricity to charge my gadgets, not enough water and the internet connection will be lost sometimes. But besides that, I am thankful that I'm alive and given a chance to start again in next season.



Yes your right here like me I will spend wisely, what I've got right now I prefer to buy all my needs than my wants so that I can survive

Well said OP, but it's a season of give and take in a short period of time. When you give to your neighbor they will send to you their gratitude in lieu of Gifts or funds. Many people will receive prepaid gift cards to buy gifts of their choice. Memories don't die, the things you do within this Xmas season gets registered in your memory for a long period of time.

Spending strategically is advised of everybody in this forum. Don't throw money away that won't yield return in the near or far future. In conclusion, I'm grateful for the life of everybody that survived this year to this point. It's a thing of joy and people should get rewarded for not making us cry during the year.

Thats actually true. I hate those who are actually bragging that they can invest on like that but when they got lose they cry like a baby. That's really a hard truth about investing. Weak hands usually tend to speak more because of their fear that something might happened on their investment.

Many people usually see that as an argument and hence only people with knowledge can understand or grasp what they feel. That is why people should think or study first before investing.

Yes, maybe you are right, Christmas where people always do something useful for others, share with each other, full of charity.

Maybe everyone hopes at the end of this season, Everything related to crypto especially Bitcoin can hope to make a change, for the failures they have done, I'm sure a lot of people have been investing/trading crypto for a long time, what's the name, a lot of them don't succeed in achieving their dreams, for that by welcoming Christmas this year, hope can return to goodness, achieve their dreams.

I believe that change is always there, humans will succeed if they learn from failure, patience without doing is also useless, doing and patience will make us successful.

Christmas greetings to everyone here. Yes I do agree with OP that one must spend only the amount he has spare. I think it's fine to buy new dress and have a good meal on Christmas but borrowing money to celebrate festivals is not a good strategy. If you don't have money then celebrateb event like Christmas, Eid, Diwali etc with simplicity.

Cheer up, buddy. I saw the news about what's going on in your country. But despite this, you're right, life is the greatest gift. So do not despair. I am sure that you will be all right. You probably need to have additional external batteries to charge your gadgets. All trials that come to us make us stronger.

But returning to the topic of the OP, I agree, you need to be more modest, not boast about your earnings. We must always remember that those who stand below us, during our ascent, are likely to meet us during our fall. And helping the weak today, we will see help in case of our failures. After all, everyone will agree that no one is immune from failure.

OP, your concept is understandable but at some point is not about how much we are able to earn within a year or how huge is our portfolio that matters because what matters how many people we're able to impact positively when they have nobody to look out for them when they need someone.
Meanwhile, it is still good to spend wisely but we still need to share some love during this season after everything we have been through (the covid-19, economic meltdown, natural disaster, omicron, etc).

Actually quite a lot of things that we can enjoy this year with bitcoin and one of them is the very beautiful ATH achievement in April and November. I am grateful to be in the midst of this extraordinary achievement, but it also does not make me forget that many of our brothers and sisters cannot enjoy all of this because they are victims of covid. The pandemic has claimed too many lives, we deserve to pray for them with love and compassion.

Best of me to all of you, 2021 is an amazing year for all of us.

Whoever breaks the bank right now forgetting that there is really life after this season will soon find out what exactly OP is preaching. Although it's a family season and a season when there is a lot of debits, this is not a call to shy away from responsibilities to self and others, but a call to plan ahead for the coming year and the plenty expenses the new year starts with.

We just celebrated it with a minimalist style and didn't have lots of food on our table.  :-\

I don't know, I just felt different this time and I think that I don't have to be showy to everyone and that's why I can connect to what OP has said. After this when you're broke and you are still forced to celebrate it with glam. You're just giving yourself another burden to bring on by 2022.

Celebrate what's necessary and be happy with what you have, be content, and always be grateful. But as said, we have different ways of celebrating it.

You're not alone mate and we're in the same situation but it feels better now we've received a lot of donations, solar panels for charging gadgets, and a lot of bottled water that can we can consume for at least how many weeks.  Reach me out if you have time maybe we're near to each other and I can able to help you with what I have.

I will not regret if I sold my Bitcoin not to celebrate this Christmas season but to satisfy all of my needs during the crisis, I already experience when the pandemic hit, and now we had this unexpected calamity, Bitcoin is very helpful because I have spare a little to help during when were down.
But I tend to agree with OP, don't spend too much just to impress others, just be contented with what you have and what you can afford.

This period is season of showing appreciation to lover once,but the major concern is to remember our projects and dreams and make them to come to reality, i think that should be our major priority, because from my conception  towards money, what makes man to degrade or deviate from areas of concentration is lack of plans and misused of money spending and is attributes to women, right now, we have to plan forward not really backwards.

We should always be happy internally like the external beauty doesn't matter at all.We should be focused on our life goals but at this time many people are exposing themselves or say spending more than enough just to show off to others that they are rich but in turn having more expenses than earning which is totally wrong.

If we have some bad times then good will also come and we should not loose hope about it because the best part about time is it changes and never remain the same.So just work hard, enjoy your life and don't get in show off living which could turn you rich to rags.Wish this new year will bring joy to our life's and we see happiness around us.
