Title: RTX 3070 overclocking Post by: jasoncool on December 28, 2021, 03:14:05 AM Hi there,
I got AORUS Geforce RTX 3070 Master rev1.1 GPU (FHR). I have tried to set the following settings using MSI Afterburner hoping to achieve 58-62 hash rate for mining ethereum. Power Limit (%): 55% or 130w Core Clock (CClock): -200 Memory Clock (MClock): +1300 Fan Speed (%): 70% ± But hash rate hasn't changed much with above settings. Is is till going up to 51 MHs which is pretty much same as without any overclocking. Any particular reason for the low hash rate? Thanks, Title: Re: RTX 3070 overclocking Post by: HashingTower on December 28, 2021, 05:53:08 AM Hello there your 3070 says rev1 right? Then that's a non LHR GPU congrats on that, here is the perfect config for 3070 using Trex miner or other
Power Limit: 125w Core Clock: +0MHz Memory clock: 1100MHz Locked core clock: 1400MHz Title: Re: RTX 3070 overclocking Post by: jasoncool on December 28, 2021, 08:59:13 AM Thanks for the config @HahhingTower. I realised I hadn't hit apply button after making changes ::) silly me ;D
Now I'm getting 62 MHs. Is it a bad idea to mine more than one currency on single GPU? Title: Re: RTX 3070 overclocking Post by: Wotan Wipeout on December 28, 2021, 09:39:34 AM ETH gives you most profit. Dual mining will reduce this profit. Just let it run on ETH.

I realised I hadn't hit apply button after making changes ::) silly me ;D It's definitely a bad idea because you won't get the perfect profit running dual mining on a 3070, better focus on mining Ethereum only for now and stick with a very good ETH pool, some will be profitable than others but the difference won't be much probably just few cents different, check some out here Now I'm getting 62 MHs. You will lower power consumption to around 116-117W and hashrate will be around 61 Mh/s. Works on mine Gigabyte rtx 3070 gaming oc ;) Title: Re: RTX 3070 overclocking Post by: jasoncool on January 06, 2022, 11:52:20 PM MSI afterburner settings: Power limit 49%, memory +1250mhz, some undevoltage settings: open frequency /voltage curve editor by presing ctrl+f and lock voltage on 750mV by clicking on square in line with 750mV on x ose then lock it by pressing L. Never used the voltage curve but I shall give it a go :) |
