We are in 5th round of Turkish Cup (last 32), there is one match elimination system in this round. Teams from Super League have home court advantage.
The most winner of this cup Galatasaray got eliminated this year in their first match. Other favorites play their matches today and tomorrow. Which team do you think will win the cup this year? Don't forget to vote.

Galatasaray made huge surprise here with eliminating such early time. It is better in a way as they can focus on Europe League but it is extraordinary failure. I am expecting Beşiktaş to get easier win. All other matches ended with favorable one winning except Bandırma. Also Fenerbahçe surprised me beating Afyon after extra time honestly, they are probably focusing on league more than ever because fans are angry towards Ali Koç, president.

Beşiktaş has the toughest draw in this round but I believe they can pass Altay at home. Beşiktaş control the game currently, if they score early we can watch a comfortable game. Otherwise it might be similar to Beşiktaş's other games. Too bad that broadcaster give matches at same canal and we couldn't watch early mintes of this game due to penalties in Gaziantep FK - Bursaspor match.
Besides Galatasaray, Bandırmaspor made a surprise and eliminated Super League team Yeni Malatyaspor. All other favorites won their games in this round.

Galatasaray have been eliminated in the 1/16-finals already and shocked everyone. Because Denizlispor are not a team that can put up a good fight against Galatasaray. But Fatih Terim's choices led his team to be eliminated very surprisingly. After seeing them scoring two goals in one minute and getting 3-2 ahead, I thought that Galatasaray would win the game comfortably by increasing the goal difference. But the red card and the dramatic goal in the last moments of the stoppage time changed everything. Denizlispor managed to beat them by 6-5 after the penalty shoot-outs.

As a matter of fact, my favorite was Galatasaray for the Ziraat Turkey cup, but it was eliminated too early. Denizlispor was not a serious competitor when you looked at it, Fatih Terim could have made a better tactical decision for Galatasaray. Beşiktaş-Altay match is being played right now, my other favorite Beşiktaş is waiting for them to win this match.

This Cup is really hard to predict,the top teams and teams from the first turkish league are always playing with second or third squads in this kind of matches and you cant never know what will happen.We seen Galatasaray losing on penalties to Denizlispor and that is just shocking

Galatasaray is very good and quality team in European soccer on other side Denizlispor is in Lige 1 with very poor record and most chances they will relegate to Lige 2 in next season we can say it's big upset in this year's Turkish Cup.

Right now, 15 matches already completed, and now last match is playing between 2 Super League teams Besiktas vs Altay after end of first half match is level with score of 0 - 0 but home side Besiktas is very strong and good with having 7th spot into Turkish League and with Altay is at 16th with current form they can go more down and relegated to Lige 1 for next season.

This is not the case especially for this year, the biggest teams have almost no chance in Super League this season so they play in cup games with extra motivation. This is a ticket for Europa League directly, so teams care about this cup. Galatasaray got eliminated early but their current squad is not like they used to have and they were pretty unlucky and clumsy in that particular match.
First half is over and we haven't seen a goal yet in black and white derby. Altay couldn't find any position but they made good defense. I expect a much better second half for both teams. Batshuayi should finish positions when he finds open. We may see Larin and Teixeira in next minutes.

Besiktas is my favorite to win. Still the best team in Turkey at the moment? They are also the only ones to have made it to Champions League football this season. Eliminated in that group, but that can happen in that group. With the cup you have to be good every game, a lesser game and you are out.

I have watched the match of Altay vs Besiktas. Besiktas won 1-0

In the first match of the round of 32, Besiktas came on the field. I did not like their performance in the Super Lig. They also lost against Konyaspor yesterday. Altay is not the weakest team. However, in the 61st minute, Atiba Hutchison's goal gave Besiktas the victory.

When you think about squad quality yes it's one of the best teams but some players underperformed this year. You can win the trophy if you win 5 matches, I think a lot of teams want to get that cup even though it has no financial attraction. It only has prestige and directly Europa League competition ticket no matter where you place in Super League (or other alt leagues). I expect Beşiktaş and Trabzonspor to play in finals if they don't meet in previous rounds.

It would be a big surprise if Besiktas eliminated early, they should see at least the semi finals. I also expect Besiktas - Trabzonspor final this year if they don't match earlier. The big teams will be more careful not to lose because in the Super League they almost have zero chance to win the title in this season. They will be playing hard to win this cup.

It will be one match elimination again. Matches will be played in 8-9-10 February. First teams written there have home advantage. There will be VAR protocol in these matches. Before last 16 round there were no VAR protocol. Weird but that's the rule in this tournament.

I don't see any surprise happening for these matches at least for the stronger teams.Both Fenerbahce and Besiktas are playing in their home stadium against not so very powerful opponents.It should be wins for them but maybe they are not that focused on the cup and maybe they play with their second formation bench players and that can cost them the elimination.It all depends at how teams look at such event,the Turkish cup.

Today there were three matches and last 16 round started with two surprises already. One of the favorites Fenerbahçe and second place holder in Turkish League Konyaspor got eliminated early. They couldn't even see quarter final. Fenerbahçe lost the game in last second goal. Konyaspor got beaten in extra time.
Now Beşiktaş and Trabzonspor should be more hungry as favorites are gone one by one. Trabzonspor want to make a double and Beşiktaş want to get that Europa League ticket.

I am surprised for sure with Fenerbahçe as I was expecting lot more from them, as they have less change to win league than cup. I am expecting Beşiktaş to be very hungry with it as its only rather big team left with Trabzon now. Antalya beat Hatay nicely but unexpended for sure. Alanya - Adana Demir is gonna be hardest much to guess and bet. I suggest to avoid it. And for last Sivas beat Bandırmaspor. Expected.

Fenerbahce was eliminated like Galatasaray as well. This result did not surprise for me. Because both of Galatasaray and Fenerbahce have a very bad performance this season. And the Turkish Cup is very significant. Because it means a ticket for the "UEFA Europe League Cup". Two big clubs lost this ticket. Next season, two big club probably will not be in the "UEFA Europe League Cup".

I really love the last effort made by Fatih K, Konyaspor was that vigilant protective against them if now they would won the match leaving Fatih K. Fenerbahçe they had a good start but there were over-lapses which led Kayserispor the chance to have a score over them.

This is just a prediction from my ends, there is no guarantees you should stake with much funds rather than what you afford.

Besiktas vs Goztepe seems both of teams in the good shape because in their latest matches Besiktas 5 consecutive no lost and Goztepe 4 consecutive win in Turkish league but for 5 latest met between them Besiktas had good records because can able to win 4 times and Goztepe once time win so probably home team will have good chance to win the game and i personally predict this match will belongs to Besiktas

Alanyaspor started the match fast and scored the first goal. Adanademirspor, who got over the shock in a short time and came to himself, scored the draw goal. The match, which passed with mutual attacks, went to penalties. After this result, Alanyaspor advanced to the quarter-finals of the Ziraat Turkish Cup.

After Fenerbahce and Galatasaray said goodbye to the Turkish Cup very early, all the eyes were on Besiktas. And Besiktas managed to eliminate Goztepe by penalties in the match that they had a big difficulty and advanced to the quarter finals. Last 16 round is over, after yesterday and today's matches Alanyaspor, Antalyaspor, Sivasspor, Trabzonspor and Beşiktaş advanced to quarter final. First day we saw two surprise results but other than that there were no surprise teams that advanced to quarter final. I see Beşiktaş and Trabzonspor as favorites still. Beşiktaş played very dominant but couldn't find goal again. There is a big problem in finishing lately, this season they had very hard times scoring goals even though they find many positions every game.

The only positive thing about Besiktas' results is that they are at least through. It was not good again, but is that important in the cup? I do not think so. Of course you want to continue with good football, but in the end the result counts and that is that they are through. Besiktas have seen better days, maybe time to win the cup this season for reparation.

Its positive for them but for us who betted on them in regular time we lost pretty bad on them. Everyone expected easy win from this match and that didnt happen. Turkish cup is really hard to predict a lot of surprises happen in this tournament.

In the Turkish Cup, Trabzonspor beat its weak rival Denizlispor 2-1 with difficulty and advanced to the next round.  They took the field with a team of young people and wanted to beat Denizlispor.  However, when Denizlispor scored in the second half, the top players took the field.  This tactic was reflected in the result and Trabzonspor became the winner at the end of the match.  Beşiktaş, on the other hand, drew 0-0 with Göztepe in normal time.  Lucky for them, they advanced to the next round after the penalty kick.

Kasimpasa vs Alanyaspor match on 13 February 2022 will be a very interesting and tight match, and Kasimpasa will host away team Alanyaspor and Kasimpasa does not want to repeat the result of the previous match losing 1-0 to Trabzonspor who overall had the ball.
and while Alanyaspor are unbeaten in their last two away games in the league, who I think will win this match despite playing at Kasimpasa. And Alanyaspor is ranked 4th in the klasman and Kasimpasa is ranked 14th in the standings which I think is easy to guess.

Alanya is still my favourite with this round, I think they will go for semi finals. League is more important for Antalya in my opinion so I think Trabzon will win as they are more relaxed (even if they are competing for title in league)
Hard to guess results of other matches. Beşiktaş needs to at least get cup to satisfy fans. Sivas and Karagümrük are sort of similar teams.

I expect Trabzonspor, Sivasspor, Alanyaspor and Beşiktaş to advance to semi final, that means all first seed teams will go on in this tournament. Since this is quarter final, we shouldn't see any elimination as surprise. All teams are strong and have a chance to advance but favorites are favorites for a reason. It's a one match elimination after all, anything is possible in only one ninety minutes. There is no place for errors. That's why teams play so cautious in this cup.

Yeah while checking fixtures I was bit surprised to see its only 1 match even in quarter finals. I generally dislike 1 match elimination because it doesn't exactly favor strength but luck sometimes. I also expect no surprise maybe other than Karagümrük but 1-2 unlucky errors may completely mess bettings here.

Besiktas indeed must play much more better than this. Their performance is not even enough for being the Turkish Cup champion as of yet. They will play against Kayserispor who beat Fenerbahce in the last round. But I think Besiktas can win against them. The question is, can they win the cup? For that, they have to show a much much better performance.

Their biggest rival in the cup, Trabzonspor, will play against Antalyaspor. Antalyaspor is trying a new approach with their young coach. They might really focus on the cup, it would be a big success for them if they could get the cup and very promising for their future. I expect a surprise with this match up and reckon Antalyaspor can play big and might go to the next round.

This week we will watch quarter final games. I am waiting for the matches where the favorites will go to the next round. At this point, no one has the luxury of making mistakes. Teams will play with control. Every team wants to win the trophy. But only one team will win and get a Europa League ticket. This gives teams extra motivation.

This round, quarter finals will be single elimination games but the semi finals will be two games elimination. Besiktas and Trabzonspor have the home court advantage in this round. Since it is very important game for Besiktas, I expect them to win, albeit hardly. Necip Uysal and Vida have injuries, they are expected not to play. Francisco Montero will probably play. Besiktas must win at their home.

I expect Trabzonspor, Alanyaspor and Sivasspor to continue to semi finals. Even though there will be tough game, home court advantage will be important and I expect home teams to win.

There is first macth of quarter finals at today. Antalyapor match could tough for Trabzonspor. Because Antalyaspor increase their performance by day by. But Trabzonspor is so strong this season. I think we can enjoy the match. There will two matches tomorrow. And Alanyaspor-Gaziantepspor match is end match of quarter finals at thursday.

This year Trabzonspor have had quite a spectacular season with only 1 defeat in the league, the only defeat that Trabzonspor got was when they faced Antalyapor in the 16th week ago, I think this could be an opportunity for Trabzonspor to avenge the defeat and as well  advance to the next round  in turkish cup, but I think antalyapor who are currently missing the chance to win the league of course will show their best performance later in the quarterfinals because Turkish cup is the only logical trophy they can get this season, my prediction is maybe the match will end for victory Antalyapor with a slim score.

Today the match between Trabzonspor vs. Antalyaspor, will take place soon, today I try to make a conclusion to bet on the turkish cup match this time, I'm interested in the Trabzonspor team, they have good players, although the odds for Trabzonspor are only 1.91 compared to Antalyaspor 4.20, I will try for Trabzonspor, from three matches 1 draw two Trabzonspor won, I am very confident for the Trabzonspor team today.

I agree with you. Antalyaspor haven't chance to join Europe Cups because of their station of Turkish League. But If Antalyaspor win Turkish Cup, they have won to join Europe Cups. I think so Antalyaspor  will show good performance.  But Trabzonspor so strong and they have good mood. Trabzonspor look like unstopped machine  at now.

The first quarter final match of the cup will be played tonight. Trabzonspor seems to be the favorite, but I think Antalyaspor will give it their all. Trabzonspor is focused on the league championship. They may not be able to fully concentrate on the cup game. Antalyaspor has no other claim other than this cup. That's why I think Antalya will do everything to pass the tour no matter what. We don't know if they have enough power to pass the tour though.

Beşiktaş tried everything today but couldn't beat the referee. Such a shame for Turkish football, this kind of refs should be banned for life, otherwise nobody would watch games anymore. It's impossible to stay sane after you see that kind of massacre. None of those penalties given, wrong red cards wasted the time and it wasn't extended enough. It could've been different if Beşiktaş found score but they missed too many opportunities. Still it's not an excuse for refs to give wrong calls.

While the opponents are given double penalties in every match, when it is our turn, the penalties that we deserve are stolen. Who wants to watch such a joke? We are tired of talking about the same things every match, they are not tired of doing the same things. This order will continue as long as one of these referees is not executed in Taksim Square. People are having a nervous breakdown while watching the match. So much injustice is being done, every game, every game, it shouldn't be like this.

Besiktas got a big hit by Kayserispor in the Turkish Cup today and they were eliminated as a result by 2-1. Besiktas really tried every way to win this game though. Their statistics were really impressive but it wasn't enough for a victory at the end of the day. And now, the probability of Trabzonspor's winning the tournament title has increased a lot. After defeating such big teams in the Turkish league, I hope the team that reaches the cup will be Kayserispor.

It's of course surprising that in this match Trabzonspor are very seeded and many people still hope they will win the title with the turkish super league but they lost to a club that is arguably mediocre and even tends to be bad in the league.

Sivasspor-Alanyaspor match ended in a 1-1 draw. Alanyaspor was eliminated. Sivasspor was the other finalist. Kayserispor-Sivasspor will meet in the Turkish Cup final match. The referee of the match has been determined and Halil Umut Meler will manage the match. He managed very bad matches in the league, but for some reason he is loved by the referee board. I hope we watch a match that who deserves to win get the cup. I don't have a favorite for the final game.

btw, I also didn't really follow this Turkish Cup from the start, but looking at the history (results of the match) between Kayserispor and Sivasspor, I predict Kayserispor will be the winner (because they managed to beat trabzonspor on 4-3aggregate)

Sivasspor are a very stable team. There is no other team with the same stability in the Turkish league. Their president and coach have been the same for years. Hakan, Fajr, Gradel and Kayode are effective and good players. The city has a football culture as well. They have a strong supporter base. Sivasspor didn't get here with the help of luck. I support them emotionally and wish them to win the cup.

Sivasspor was slightly the favorite one and they performed well in the final, even though it was in extra time they beat Kayerispor before penalty shoot-out and showed how they deserved this trophy. Rıza Çalımbay is the best thing Sivasspor ever had. He has a good experience in European competitions, before Sivasspor he played in UEFA Cup with Beşiktaş and Denizlispor. This is Sivasspor's first trophy in their history. Congratulations to champion Sivasspor, it's time to lock this thread.
