Although it is not possible, lets suppose bitcoin all of a sudden reaches 100,000$ on 31 Dec 2021, 11:59 PM.  ;)

Will you cash out and enjoy your profits or will you keep holding? Many will be busy in New year Celebrations and will miss this price  ;)

Share your fantasy dreams if this happens overnight?

I will probably do both. I usually prefer to spend some and HODL some. This way I don't have so many regrets for what I've spent or could have been buying more in the past.
On the other hand, right now may still be a good buy moment...

However, I will most probably not keep a close eye to the market exactly at midnight...

If i know that bitcoin will reach that value before end of the year probably i will put all in, i mean everything i have then sell off immediately after gaining massive profits. Lol  because it's a big opportunity mate to be honest in just a short period of time if it will gonna happen..and its a very happy new year for sure!   ;D

i will HODL and since price is on 100k there will be DIP and i buy more :)

There is more to bitcoin than just reaching all-time-high. Best to hold. More all-time-high is certain.

Cashout the profits, buy the dip later on.

I don’t have a big amount either (I sold all in 31k+ and bought little recently) but that would definitely be hilarious and I would sell whatever I have at the moment. It's very unlikely, not even in the next month it's going to happen I think.
No, I think bitcoin @100k will be the talk of the each town regardless of whatever the celebration is.

If it shot to 100k in that fashion, I would likely convert to USDC to wait for the correction. That kind of jump in that short amount of time isn't likely to be stable.

I wouldn’t do anything, there are a lot more important things on New Year’s Eve than thinking about profit. Besides, why are people so obsessed with $100k when it's a small step towards much bigger things?

I feel better anyway when I have Bitcoin than fiat or any stablecoin, especially the latter which can become literally worthless at any moment.

I'd most probably cash out a significant chunk temporarily. more than a 2x in a single day? Yea, pretty much a blow-off top that has a high likeliness of dropping back down in a short time span; probably a great risk/reward trade.

If it happens, it is magic and x2 in one day is amazing. It is big achievement if we consider the high marketcap of Bitcoin currently and a price at $100,000 is very high.

I am bullish with Bitcoin long run but if it rises x2 in 24 hours, yes I will take profit and wait for correction. It is unrealistic to consider x2 growth in 24 hours is sustainable.

I will put 50% of my bitcoin on the market and the other 50% in a storage wallet in anticipation of higher price. Enjoying huge profit at 00:00:01 with bitcoin is a great thing, but it is something that can be considered impossible nowadays. But sadly I don't have a large amount of bitcoin at the moment, so I don't want to fantasize any higher before going to bed.  :D

Will sell a portion of my holding and will continue to hold the rest. If ever that happens I think that I'm probably busy. But since we're just assuming things to happen, I'll really have to take profit from that time if ever it comes and I'll spend it wisely this time to generate more profit so most likely, I'll re-invest it somewhere to another business that might be stable and profit there shall be used again to buy bitcoin.  :D

Why did you sold all in at 31,000$ when you know the potential of bitcoin to cross 100,000$ or even 500,000$ in few years? Was it due to panic selling or you need the money  ???

To the OP, I would not like to see the dreams of bitcoin pumping from 46,000$ to 100,000$ in a matter of 24 hours  :D

In the euphoria of such an unexpected gift from Santa, people will start selling bitcoin en masse and create a price collapse to the level at which cryptomarket is now.  :D

Ahh, no, no, noo... Nobody will miss such a thing! In this case, even in those places where there will be no TV and phone communication, rumors will reach with carrier pigeons. :)

If bitcoin touches 100k mark that will mean alts will also touch there new ATH. I wont wait for a second and will sell all my holdings in crypto and will enjoy the profit with my family on new years eve. IMO there is no point in HODLing BTC at 100k if you have bought BTC at 50k. Just get the maximum profit and enjoy.

I will never sell all of my holdings, I will just fix some profit and keep the remaining funds in Bitcoin.
I think it will not touch $100K within a single night. but when it will touch, it will move very strongly. Now, this is the opportunity to buy Bitcoin at a discounted price.

Do you people can think about buying Bitcoin below $10K?? not, cause institutional investments makeover that price, most of them bought over $20K or the higher price, So, there are no guys available who can sell their coins below $20K.

like that, when government will start adopting Bitcoin next year at $50K price, we will never get a chance to buy below that price.
Now I'm trying to keep all of my funds in Bitcoin cause we might be not getting such opportunities to buy Bitcoin below $50K in 2022.

I'll cheer for Bitcoin in my mind, but won't rush to sell anything. I try not to act on things like that, and if this actually happened, the fees would probably skyrocket as well, and transactions would get stuck. I will simply watch how it's going and how people react, but stay put. If it can reach $100k once, it will do it again, and FOMO is a dangerous feeling that can lead to more mistakes than profits. Also, I'll try not to follow the price movements during this time and instead focus on spending time with my family, awaiting the beginning of another year.

That's a sell for me. Half of my coins would automatically be sold as I've already more than doubled my initial investment, while the rest of the stash gets to live another year or so, or until the market pumps back up even higher. Such pumps occur very rarely, and if you manage to sell on one, it's already an opportunity to buy back a huge amount the next time around.

But of course it wouldn't happen. And even if it does, I would not be in front of the computer doing these stuff. I'd probably be wasted, or asleep by then.

I will cry definitely Lol. Because right now I am not holding any Bitcoin. Sell it out and wait for the dip. If in case I can buy in dip and hold Bitcoin till 100K end of this year, definitely I will sell and wait for another dip. No matter if no more down after touch 100K, because I already made a handsome profit then. I think most of the holders will attempt to sell which would lead to another dip. But I am pretty sure it will not happen.

I thought it was an old branch. But then I noticed that it was started today, one day before the New Year. To fantasize that the price of bitcoin can reach one hundred thousand dollars in one day, when its current price is only about $ 47,700, is very brave or very stupid. If the price does reach to $100,000 in a day or two, then there will be a dip and a correction. Most of the people will start taking their profit and sell off their coins because they all know that the price will eventually crash after this abnormal rise. The price will start dipping. So, I would just convert half of my coins to a stable coin and then when the correction/dip takes place, I would be buying more and have more BTC with me. I would never sell all of my holding though. No one should do that.

I will notice something wrong with the market because it's already reached 2 times all time high this year, and if it's goes for the 3rd ATH in a year, i will just cash out because i feel something doom will happen in near future.
If a value of a thing going so high without any big correction, the chance of being bubble is high, so i will definitely cash out to fiat and just wait for the market move in the next month or 2 months before i make my next decision.

That is a time for me to sell 75% of the total bitcoin I have and withdraw it into my bank for just 25%-40% and keep the rest in stable coins and wait for the next drops time.
I will enjoy that money, not just to celebrate the New Year but also to send the money to the charity so they can also celebrate the New Year moment with their friends.
In the New Year, I will go out of my home, in my backyard, see the firework in the air, make a reflection on what I have already done in the last year, make a wish and pray that I can still get healthy, can achieve my goals, can still make money and many things I want do and reach for the next year.

Hypothetically if bitcoin was to hit $100,000 tonight I would sell some. Realistically though there is more chance of  me having a threesome with Jennifer Lawrence & Hailey Bieber. $100,000 will come but it is not going to be tonight sadly.

I'd most likely cash out all the mBTC I saved so far and then just buy again when the price drops again. No, I have no idea whether the price of bitcoin will drop but I have a feeling it will if the price reaches $100k.
