Post by: Somekindabitcoin on March 27, 2014, 03:24:17 AM
http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Year-sale-Avalon-ASIC-Bitcoin-BTC-miner-200-GH-s-New-Model-IN-HAND-low-Price-/370975642311?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item565fdf12c7

This person sold four 200 GH/s Avalons for 4,500 each.

A whopping 11,000 dollars for only a 1 TH/s miner and it was bought this month!

Well, I hope you guys learned something from this. The moral? You can sell things you bought for around a thousand dollars and who knows how big of a fortune you could make.

It is crazy

When I hear that you can't make ROI mining, I have always answer that you can make money out of mining if you can buy a miner cheaply and sell it back for the same amount or more on ebay a few weeks after but you mostly make money by fliping the miner

The reason for this is Ebay's ridiculous fees, which are 10% of the sale

lets not forget ebay owns paypal which also takes about 3% as well. That is why I stopped selling most stuff on ebay and use it as a last resort the fees are outrageous

Why do you mine if you need more and more hashpower, the difficulty rises and bitcoin turns down????? It will cost you a fortune!!! You will have no ROI for sure!!

Ofcourse, but some noobs dont understand this

This looks like money laundering to me, no way any real ebay buyer paid that much.
