Title: Never was able to pull BTC from BTCGuild due to password reset not arriving
Post by: btcloserman on December 31, 2021, 04:15:54 PM
Is it still somehow possible to access the old accounts from btcguild?

They must have some backups, no?

I think I have around 28BTC still in my account that weren't paid out.

The reason I never withdrawn them: I lost my btc wallet and thought it was already withdrawn, just found it after years of search and the wallet is empty and never received anything.

You are about 6 years to late. And as of the last information he gave out there was no way of finding the last of the people who had funds there:

There's a couple thousand accounts with less than 0.01 but more than 0.0001.  There's a few (less than 100) very old accounts with no email, no wallet, etc. assigned to them with more than 1 BTC owed, that haven't been logged in to since 2011-2012.

eleuthria https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=9119 has not logged in here for a few years at this point so I don't know of any way you could really reach him. And I can't see it being easy to prove you are you and it's you who mined the coins.

Is your wallet synced? Did you check the address on a block explorer?

The address is empty according to blockexplorer.info, May also be that I found the wrong wallet, the one I found starts with 17**, but I think the payout one was something 89**
Have yet to figure this out..

I only have an corrupt iso image of my old harddrive, there are 2 other wallets on it but I can't seem to recover them
