Happy new calendar year to all the members of this forum, the past year has been a remarkable year in the Bitcoin journey and one of the most remarkable events of the past year's is the adoption of Bitcoin as a legal tender by countries like El Salvador.
The building of the first Bitcoin city and the all-time high price of Bitcoin in 2021, with all this exciting event I wish to say a big congratulations to all of us and a happy new year.

Happy crypto new year to you ops it is quite an excellent year with Bitcoin gaining mainstream adoption despite all the rough grounds that surround the entire cryptocurrency market, the year 2021 ended on a very good note and it has opened a great door for 2022 welcome.

Wow you have written well. Bitcoin had really done well this year creating a new  highest height reach. Many persons joined the Bitcoin league last year and now we are in another year. I pray this year will come with more height and adoption of Bitcoin as a ledger tender. Wish all crypto holders a fruitful year.

I am expecting that more countries will follow El Salvador this year, for sure not only 1 country. Especially when they will start to appreciate the good things of it from El Salvador.
But we should also be ready for the negative things that could happen this year like Bitcoin could possibly visit below $40,000 or worst below $30,000 but I am on always the positive side.
Another thing is the bitcoin block halving that will happen in 2024, we are still far but as the year changed from 2021 to 2022, it is getting near to the block halving.

yes bitcoin has surprised in 2021 and make new ATH in this year. hope so bitcoin will more grow in this year and will make sure again new ath. i desire more countries have invloved in this year like El Salvador. Year 2021 is the best year for bitcoin so far, just imagine 2 all high value within months or two?.. For sure many investors enjoying their new year at this moment. And surely 2022 is more profitable although there are some rumours that bitcoin is almost mined. But that's what it is wherein if it gonna happen that bitcoin will last at least we made more profits from it from the beginning..  No regrets and accept the fact in my personal opinion.

Time flies so fast, one day seems like a week. No time to waste before the halving, we know what is gonna happen and we must be prepared for it. I think a 100k USD per BTC is possible.

I felt like a day is always a new year for me, everyday in crypto gives me surprises, excitement and somewhat sorrow and regret. I know it's awkward but that is how I feel for the crypto space, and it never change and the emotion gets stronger.

There is no doubt about the fact that 2021 was a land-breaking period for Bitcoin and also the entire crypto industry witnessed significant growth at a level that even anti Bitcoin policies could not stop its mainstream presence am sure the year 2022 will bring more countries adopting Bitcoin.

Yes, there is chances of few countries to adopt bitcoin same as El Salvador. With El Salvador the scenario is different, because they haven't got their own national currency. This made them take the decision in a fast phase without much of opposition. With other countries this won't happen that easy. Lets hope for the best to happen.
The market is on a cyclic process, and there is some similarities with the movement between the years. This way after every ATH there is more chance for crash. This makes me believe on the bearish move of the market.
As an year passes, we get close to the block halving. Every year this makes a big discussion, same as that we can expect some speculation associated with the block halving during the 2nd quarter of the year.

I think having a timeline of 2021 and summarizing the most significant events in the previous year would make it easier to see what the bitcoin community or cryptocurrency, in general, has achieved. I think this way, it's easily appreciated and be memorable to everyone if it's like that.

Well, if you believe one Bitcoin can reach a price of $1 million, then you still can make more than 20 times profit from today :D It is always a question of perspective. The question has always been there. No matter if the price was at $25, at $150 or at $7000. So far it has always multiplied from those levels. Quite possible that in two years at the turn of the year someone will ask: Bitcoin reached 500k, is it still possible to make profits from this level? :)

While a lot of real information is still available on the forum, I think most of the really cool stuff has ceased to happen because well, I guess the quality of people has declined over time in terms of their technical proficiency. The technical proficient have a lot more crazier and far better things to do. I be-grudge the fact that despite being here for over 4 years now, I have really not buitl anything.

Like zero, nada, zilch.

I am pretty thankful to those like Roobet and Bestchange who let us earn a little here by engaging and pretty much trying to guide the newbies to not do stupid shit. Here is hoping to a lot of brilliant mind continuing to contribute to Bitcoin and let more meaningful interactions be created on it.

I too wish you and the rest of the forum a happy new year. As for what you say, I think it has been more remarkable for the former than the latter. The price has left much to be desired, everyone expected to have reached much higher.

Now we are facing a 2022 where some think the highest price of the cicle has already been hit and there won't be a new ATH until next halving, and others think this cycle is somewhat delayed and we will pass 100K this year. The bitcoin haters I don't take into account.

Happy new year ops it was an exciting journey all through 2021 and the year was one of the biggest years in Bitcoin history a lot of events happened this previous year and as you mentioned the legal adoption of Bitcoin by that country and also the use of Bitcoin for payments for big celebrities and this milestone is not an easy achievement to the global Bitcoin adoption. The year 2021 also saw the price booms and an all-time high Bitcoin is now seated at a remarkable price almost doubled what we hard in just a year back let say 2019.
So I will say a big happy new year to all the Bitcoin holders and the members of this forum I know with more dedication and hard work this new year 2022 will see to a more prosperous new height for the bitcoin network

Guys, we need to understand the government of every country has a different understanding and stance towards Bitcoin, just because El Salvador uses Bitcoin as legal tender doesn't mean others will follow and the last time I checked the government cherished centralized system over decentralization.
Yes, El Salvador set a perfect example but have we thought of the battle they fought afterward.

Bitcoin last year has been in pretty good shape. BTC went up to new ATH for 2 times and this made it quite good.
This makes bitcoin adoption turbulent and leads to something even better.
on the other hand this year I feel there are things that are quite good because the longer the adoption of bitcoin is getting better and I feel this year will be even better than last year

Happy new year mate, its great that we saw 2022 but let's not, get it twisted, Crypto-currency is volatile, and the fact we had a great 2021, 2022 could be different so as we invest in Bitcoin or and other crypto-currency this year let's all be wise about it, always do more research this year, but I strongly believe this would be a good year for crypto-currency adoption, I can predict the price success but I think government would start to accept the present of crypto-currency.

Happy new year, may this year a prosperous year again for bitcoin. We may fail to see bitcoin achieve another milestone before the year ends but I am very optimistic that bitcoin will be more stronger than last year, hopefully a wide adoption may take place like legality to other countries aside from El Salvador. But yeah, I am also looking forward to the time that we can used our crypto assets to purchase goods and not just only an investment.

I think that's the only way for bitcoin, moving forward and I am pretty sure that we will be seeing bigger things so to everyone that has bitcoin, better if you hold on to it and be a diamond hand because we don't know what's in store for everyone in the future and if it's a positive one, you don't want to miss out.

Looking forward to seeing good things about Bitcoin this year as well and less drama that will gonna be trends such as self-proclaiming Satoshi Nakamoto and another cryptocurrencies mining problem that will cause the earth to trigger so-called big climate change. remember everything such as these kinds of news has already been cleared. I really hope that every new year, they will run out of reason and finally just accept the fact that becoming friends with the use of bitcoins is all that they can do right now.

That may be something to celebrate but remember that Bitcoin is so far being accepted as legal tender in EL Salvador only and still no other countries that do the same thing.
But yes this is one good move for others to follow their actions and adopt bitcoin in the next season.

El Salvador is already in the public spotlight in the year 21, with their facts and love for Bitcoin, until they built the Bitcoin city, in the year 22, I hope that several other regions, especially my area, can follow in the footsteps of what El Salvador has done, build a beautiful city where everyone can transact with Bitcoin.

I feel that 2022 is going to be the difficult year.
High electricity and natural gas prices in Europe(which leads to high inflation).
The pandemic isn't gonna be ending anytime soon,since the Delta and Omicron mutations might continue existing and infecting more people.There's another wave of infections in Europe and America,which might cause new lockdowns.
Bitcoin is usually going up in times of uncertainty and crisis,but I'm not 100% sure about that.
2022 might be kinda similar to 2018 for Bitcoin,having a big price drop and a stagnant bearish market.
I hope that the governments won't be that hostile towards the crypto industry in 2022.

Indeed, 2021 was a good year for us, and Bitcoin really surprised us last year. I really hope to see other countries legalize Bitcoin, and also want it to hit new Ath this year. Although, one of the reasons why some countries don't want to adopt Bitcoin is because Bitcoin is decentralized and probably can't be controlled. However, is obvious that in the nearest future, Bitcoin will be more successful, and many government will have no other option that to accept It.

No question 2021 crypto Year was good for me just like I believe for most too. Two of the biggest payout in Bounties I ever received and not to mention the ATH for most cryptocurrencies and also my biggest earning from a single Investment all in 2021. Well at the end of 2020 and start of the 2021, it was really a great year for us. And we were able to sustain a good run, going to a new all time high not once but twice at $68k. And then we have a good news about El Salvador, and maybe there will be some countries too this 2022 that will make BTC legal tender.


We have a big accomplishments already last year and it's hard to better that one. In fact, if he hit the opposite this year as in a bear market, we might not like what 2022 is going to offer. But let's be positive and hope for the better this year.

Yes and i don't know why people are so greedy to ask for more than what the ATH reached for bitcoin in 2021 , because imagine how many climb bitcoin did in that year? hitting almost 70k isn't enough for them.
2021 is the highest growth not only for bitcoin but the whole crypto market so i think seeking for another hype this 2022 is more than enough.
and also I'm afraid that there is another growth now  , looking at the history of bitcoin and even crypto? mostly after the year of hyping this will be followed of year of dump, so be ready.

Bitcoin may progress more this year, I am looking for at least breaking the recent ATH and make at least 80 this 2022 as i have been waiting for cashing out lol.

Actually there is nothing to wish for in the last year performance , even the 40k level in december is something we must all be thankful.

IMO those who have done the mistake of buying BTC at 68k$ or near are constantly asking for new ATHs. BTC is floating in b/w window of 45k$ to 50k$ right now and if you play sensibly, even now you can earn handsome profit. Nonetheless 2021 was the year to remember and there are hopes that new ATHs will be seen in 2022. Happy New year.

When you decide Buying at that high you must understand that you are risking your money.

Because imagine 68k is the highest that time(Actually it is the ATH) so buying at that range meaning you already Knew the position and knows what will come , either it will continue pumping or will declined and that what happened now.,

You are right if one looks closely at the market a lot of profits in the floating market price as the market change you trade along but not everyone can trade as it requires lots of knowledge and skills, the year 2021 was an exciting year for both Bitcoin and the entire cryptocurrency market. and one thing for sure is this year 2022 will bring a large adoption and also countries will start looking in the direction of bitcoin adoption and also the mainstream operation of Bitcoin but the setback is the fact that bitcoin is a highly decentralized currency and the government can not take a hold of it operations so the results become the creation of a centralized cryptocurrency that will be under the control of the government but in all wise President such as the El 🇸🇻 Salvador have adopted Bitcoin as a legal tender within the region and it works hand in hand with the native dollar of the country.

But never mind because we still have a chance to accumulate more bitcoin before the price increases. Yes, I have the same feeling as you and even if I do not know when it will come, I will still wait and hold as I want to feel that moment and of course, I want to sell at that price for some bitcoin. We still need to have optimist that the time will come for bitcoin to rise for more.

None of us will ever know what will happen in 2022, but we all hope for the best. What we need to do is to stay positive and continue to collect Bitcoin
and some potential altcoins. If we can all do that, the demand for crypto should increase and make the market bullish. I also really hope Bitcoin will
be much better in 2022, but sometimes wishes are often different from reality. So we all have to have a plan, if it turns out that the market in 2022
does not move as expected.

All we can do is to predict the price of bitcoin what the future holds is not clear to all of us and at that, we can only be hopeful things will get better the year 2022 is expected to be a great year for both Bitcoin and the entire cryptocurrency market. Even though all of those mentioned activities are a huge step forward for bitcoin, but maybe some things are happening too quickly, at the cost of gradual, organic adoption. There is something to be said about BTC's earlier organic adoption and how it seemed like a natural rise of people's interest, whereas now, we just throw crypto at anything and see if it sticks. Maybe it's too early for whole countries to get into it, maybe whole cities should not be built around it. Not sure if I am right about it, but that's just my concern.

All of  you mentioned are only in EL Salvador , there are so many things to mention about Bitcoin in the past year like big companies adoption , in which the investments in bitcoin is much higher in how much EL Salvador did .

and also there are so many to mention this year about the incoming projects and those existing that will bring much support and increase to the market flow.

I was among the bitconers who benefited from bitcoin at a point when bitcoin rose to $70. It was an excited moment for me because of the profit I got from it. Bitcoin new year is for every nation, every person.
In a nutshell, bitcoin is the gold standard of cryptocurrencies. From the looks of it, the bulls are out of gas, which could translate into a bearish 2022. However, I cannot state for certain. It's all about accumulation. You should wait for a dip and buy as soon as you can.  Bitcoin hasn't lost its appeal. I think Bitcoin will blow right through 100k next time it runs.

About bitcoin halving in 2024, we should really hodl our funds as bitcoin will becoome more scarce and it will increase again in about 2 years from now.

This is quite a late greeting, but happy new year to all of us here! Indeed 2021 has left us so many memories, bad and good altogether which made us who we are today. Last year was such a roller coaster ride that brought us to both sides of the world - up and down. The happiest and challenging phases that occurred were managed to overcome by all of you reading this, that is why I want to congratulate you for surviving such extremes the past year has brought upon us.

There were so many small wins and big wins in our community last year. Most of the things that happened last year made a remarkable and everlasting impact on the betterment of our community and on the expansion of cryptocurrency to other parts of the world. The courageous and bold move of some, the initiative, and the great leap of faith of the few were some of the influences and driving forces as to why there are new investors, members, and countries slowly being open with the idea of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency in general.

We will never lose hope for bitcoin which has become the most profitable asset in more than 1 decade since its introduction. I will keep my optimism on bitcoin this year and years to come, it should not change and will remain the same.

Bitcoin has made it possible for many people to be better off financially, it has happened to me and many others. But bitcoin is not only about how to help us financially, but also gives us financial freedom where we have a bank in hand and can make transaction transparently and securely even if they are transaction between different countries.
