We are all partly investors, we are trying to find the token that will bring us good x2x5x10... We will scatter our several thousand in different places with the hope of a good income. Feel free to manage your deposit, take into account risk management, etc.
But the situation is interesting, imagine that things are going well and at one point your deposit is $ 1,000,000.

If you have $1M, you should invest in Bitcoin, not altcoins.

Because it is a big capital and with a big capital you must invest into a coin which high trading volume. That will help you to enter and exit with a price you want.

With altcoins, if you enter or exit with $1M, you will force the price up or down too much. More terrible, altcoins are more risky than Bitcoin so if you invest into altcoins which already pumped 100 or 1000 times, your capital can be divided with 10, 100 or 1000 times again. So in worst situation, your $1M capital will become $1000, $10000 or $100,000 in the end. Nightmare

$1M is simply a big amount to invest. If this is true, you can go diversify on the top 20 cryptocurrencies of coinmarketcap. For sure you'll get good returns as expected. Carefully invest, because the market is slightly in a fluctuation mode which is good for making regular profit out of trading. However if you're very new, then just wait for the price drop and make the investment. This will let you make some profit in the short term.

Other than this do your own research and invest on presale of potential coins, because most valuable projects used to mark atleast 2x to 5x once listed to the exchanges for trading.

If we are talking about altcoins, then I would go with the likes of BNB, ADA and DOT.

I think that will be solid enough, and I will spread out my $1 millions amongst the 3. And then I would also insert bitcoin in the discussion, sorry I think it is the best investments, not even any altcoin can match it as far as security, not return of money, but how secure the network is and that is really important if you are going to put a huge amount of money in a cryptocurrency, it should be a coin that is not just solid outside, but also the network and blockchain too.

Actually, with that much capital, you will have no more trouble finding profits in the market. Even if with that $1,000,000, you could be part of the whale on the exchange just to make a lot of profit. Divide into 2 stages. first, create a 50% buy option and a 50% put option. Since you are going to invest, the top 10 CoinMarketCap can be a reference. In Solana, or more potentially, for example in a network that goes into the realm of the Metaverse. The amount of dollars, which you are going to inverse is very huge. You can split the investments into 10 parts and then inverse on a dot, near and flow. I don't know the flow very much. But the rest two coins was familiar among the traders and it was easy for you to increase the liquidity and converted to dollars anytime.

The above listed tokens are off a good choice, but my choice of investment is not listed above, I have already outline my 5 altcoin to invest my hard earn crypto on and some of them are still on their ICO (new projects)
Will rather invest on wallet tokens, exchange tokens which are new and are yet to be pumped, I believe they have great potential and will bring good return.

If I have that money, I will properly diversified it and unfortunately, I wont invest on the list provides by OP since I see other opportunities with other altcoins so better to do some research first before buying. No matter how much your capital is, always do your best to analyze. SOL, ADA, BNB, ETH and Metaverse tokens are my top choice for this year, so having more of them can give more profit to me and I’m very optimistic about this one.

with $1M you can easily start your own project and invest your money, time and knowledge into project that is your idea and you can control it easily, it is much better than to invest in some altcoin, where you do not know how the things are going to wrap-out in the future

Hi ! I will not put all on altcoin mostly maybe 35% on bitcoin and 45% for altcoin ,it's also divided again with some considerations not put in one or 3 products so I'll choose at least 25 products ! ^{ah 1M I think is a big amount because I'm not a whale}
mostly on the top market in altcoins to reduce a little risk and 20% will be saved wait for new entry trend because as far as I know the technology of this crypto space is constantly evolving there will be many innovations created in the future

$1 Million is a huge amount to invest in the market I wish I had that amount, if I have that amount I will split 50/50 and invest the 50% to the top 5 coins in the market, then I split the other 50% to 25% of the coins that are in the top 20 and the remaining 25% to new projects coming up with good potential I figure that I will be investing in at least 30 coins, it may not be all a good investment but I make sure that I did a research on these coins.

Honestly unless you have tens of millions in your portfolio I wouldn't stick $1mil into any alt.  You need to stick most of that into bitcoin and then gamble with maybe 5-10% of it.  In a bear market those alts will lose 90-95% of their usd value.  It happens time and time again.

Well, we have the same idea and I will give full attention to bitcoin, not on altcoins or I will split that huge fund, 25% for altcoins and the rest for the bitcoin. Perhaps 25% of $1M is quite enough amount to invest and risk in a short period of time, having your own research is always recommended at all times because if you will keep asking on the internet which they don't care about your capital and suggest even if they are not right. Financial advice is not always good, just make it on your own and prove that the altcoins you invested have a potential one.

I think the secret to cryptocurrencies investments is all in the name of diversification of ones portfolio. You do not want to be among those that throw everything in one basket and should the markets repond in a behavior which isnt expected then the loss is morethan that which is expected.
For my investment i would go with at least a coin on each blockchain to enjoy a slice of eack window.

ETH won't be out of my picks that's why it will be the first one that I'll have. I'll stack a lot of it if your choices are only for altcoins. Don't you want to have bitcoin too? I'll choose those that can be staked and earn a percentage from it. You know when you have higher capital, your staking profit would be higher too. After that, I'll then reinvest it into the good altcoins that are on the top list eventually. That will be the cycle of strategy if I have a capital of $1M to invest. I'll also add a part for mining.

With $1M I would definitely not risk investing everything in one altcoin. I think the minimum is at least 5 coins.
I would definitely choose Bitcoin and Ethereum and put half my capital into these two.
I would invest 20% of the capital in two existing projects that already have a product created and are credible.
And finally 10% I would invest in a new, fresh and forward-looking metaverse project.

First I bought Bitcoin and Ethereum, these two coins are perfect if I have that much capital. I am willing to bet for the short term to the long term, but for altcoins it is not quite right because the capital is large and with that amount of capital I have to invest in the coin with the highest trading volume in the market.

This is very tricky. Because in my opinion investing $1,000,000 in alts right now doesn’t sound like the right move. If you are buying at the peak be prepared to suffer 90% drawdown and maybe an alt or two which drops 90% and then another 90% and becomes basically useless.

And even if our rally continues I think many of the mid cap alts already topped out. So you might double or triple your money at best but have the risk of losing 90%.

I think it’s best to wait and see if the markets pullback some more and maybe get it then. Perhaps the bottom of the cycles next bear market. Then your $1 million will easily be $10million with patience.

$1 million is such a huge amount and you can create a huge portfolio with it, as a long time investor I have seen the best and the worse in the market and I still have huge confidence in the top coins in the market so I'll go 50% on the top 10 coins in the market and 25% on coins that are on the top 10 to 30 and 25% I will venture on new projects that are on their crowdfunding stage, there's a huge risk investing in new projects but the rewards are also huge but it needs diligence, with the allocation I have a good diversification.

Whole market is down and now if we invest on any top coin with good strategy it would give you good profit when matket bulish.
Don't invest all your investment on one coin. Try to buy atleast 5 coins . Dot and Link should Be included in our portfolio as both may be next Solona o Avax.

1 million dollars is a pretty huge amount and I would not risk it on low potential and low cap coins. I would prefer to invest such an amount in well established coins.
Since we are talking about altcoins I would invest in Ethereum, Binance coin, Solana, MATIC, DOT.
There would be my preference and will split up in below ratio
ETH - 25%
BNB - 15%
SOL - 30%
MATIC - 15%

A $1 Million is a very huge capital you got there mate, but before you consider yourself to invest in altcoins perhaps you should invest in bitcoin first for a sum of atleast $300k-$500k as you can really secure yourself a very competitive returns or profits and more promising to invest in long term rather than altcoins.

Definitely I also will scatter my funds into multiple cryptocurrencies because that will help me to minimize the risk like if one coin goes down the other one might be helping me to make profits still I believe no new projects; it means I will go with reputed old coins like bitcoin and BNB. Still, you will get chances to make 2x to 5x to 10x in coming years. If you are going for altcoins investments for the reason of quick profits then definitely you will be disappointed very soon.

I think your scenario is flawed from the very beginning, if you have a capital that is too small then it is obvious that your goal will be to earn the most money possible out of it.

But if you had as much money as one millions dollars then it is unnecessary to go for 10x, depending on your lifestyle even something as little as 10% per year could be more than enough to sustain your lifestyle for the rest of your life, and those kind of profits are incredibly easy to get by just buying bitcoin and holding it for the long term.

BNB should be the top priority after all and with that money, you can own that much though I don’t agree on putting everything on Bitcoin alone, it is still better to have some good altcoins as well. BNB is also a great choice, you can add more altcoins like ETH, MATIC, and SOL those are the best altcoins for me and will look for more good project.

Bitcoin is indeed the best for investment options, but using all the capital we have just investing in Bitcoin is not a good choice in my opinion.

What a silly question. If a person has spare million to spend on cryptocurrency, he definitely wont search an advice on a forum, but rather pay or hire a professional consultant. If a person managed to earn that sum, he definitely knows where to invest himself. He would a person that give advices where to invest, not ask them.

If we want just to dream about investing, then I would invest half in Bitcoin and hold it until my investment doubles. Other part I would spend on buying several NFTs and invest what is left in a metaverse, that promises something with VR involved.

For me probably i will choose only which project has a good history in the market such those token that already have value but still very optimistic. It's so easy to determine indeed especially if you relies on the top 20 crypto only and you will make technical and fundamental in order for you to get more specific information and of course the potential because that's the only way how we can pick a good investment..

There are so many good altcoins out there. It is really hard to make a choice because you'll probably leave some good ones behind eventually no matter how many you buy.

I would buy Litecoin first ( $300k )because it is the ancient altcoin of all. Then I would buy $200k worth of Doge because memes are mainstream lately. I would put the rest on ETH because Vitaliq is the closest thing we have to satoshi.

$1 million is a lot of money, you are already a millionaire at that stay.

I suggest you invest half which is $500k in bitcoin and the rest is for altcoins. I wouldn't recommend a particular altcoins but it's better if you invest on a legit ones, like the ones who already established their market in the space and has a high liquidity.

I'd use half of the money to build a big mining farm specifically for BTC mining and buy some BTC and ETH before 2025, there is a possibility that BTC will reach 100k by 2025, as for ETH I will stake them and enjoy the gains

You're talking about 1 million dollars, which is really serious money. If I were to deposit that much money, I wouldn't prefer altcoins though. You told us to choose altcoins, I will evaluate accordingly. I would definitely evaluate the coins that I would choose, according to the fact that they are a project that will be active in the coming years, and I would invest accordingly. What matters is how much functionality it will have and will it be a sustainable coin. By the way, flow is a good choice from your preferences, I could choose it. Other than that I would add ethereum, bnb, polkadot and enjin.

Every invested fund is reserve money but which of us has a cold fund of $1 million here because the bigger the investment fund the greater the risk consideration in crypto trading, if I had it would buy bitcoin and half for ETH and BNB.

The entire economic system is under threat due to the Corona epidemic.  If I had 1 million at a time like this, I would prefer to keep some for myself and use the rest of the money to buy valuables like gold and silver.  In such an uncertain economic situation, I think it is foolish to invest so much money in an uncertain place like crypto.  But if the market shows some upward moment then investing in crypto can be done.  Of course, it would make sense to invest 1 million in Bitcoin because there is so much liquidity.  Even if you invest 1 million, it will not have much impact on the market.  But as a long-term investment plan, I would definitely like to have some dot coin, Ether, and chainlink in my portfolio.

One free piece of advice, do not chase for 5X to 10X always book profits and bring your seed money back first then raid the wave with yourr profits if you do not wants to be trapped in a project for so long.

If you have that amount of money it is unnecessary to take huge risks, the spread of your funds needs to change according to the capital and the strategy you want to use.

Someone with that amount of money probably can get more through their job so the most important thing for someone like them is not huge short term growth but long term certainty, and the only coin that can offer something like that is bitcoin, so probably an allocation of 90% to 95% in bitcoin would be adequate with the rest invested in some altcoins that you are interested in, that way if you lose that 5% you are not going to be that affected as in terms of fiat bitcoin will probably go up more than that during that same time period.

$1 million is certainly not a small amount of money if we use it to buy coins, I think we can buy some good coins, for example, solana, BNB, metic, ADA, Uniswap coins that we can buy and hold.

I wish I could really have that huge amount of money. If I would have that amount, I will first invest it with well established coins like BTC, BNB, ETH, and ADA. I wouldn't put it in a single basket but rather divide and invest it with profitable coins. I will also risk a small portion of it in small projects with great potential.

That is a great approach, to both have money that is coming in constantly, and to also have the coins themselves. If you invest in any coin ever, it may go up or down, but if you invest into coins that you could stake, you have that AND you have passive income as well.

If you invest into bitcoin, you will not be taking advantage of the mining income, that is for miners, but if you invest into something like cake then you could make a profit for just holding it. Considering they could give anything between 10% to 100% (cake restaking has nearly 90%) then we could assume that on average you could make at least 20% yearly income.

From 1 million, that is 200k, even if we say 180k, that is 15k per month. So, not only you will make 15k per month, but also price could go up and that means your passive income will go up as well, so you will basically live forever with that money without ever needing to anything else. Only possible problem would be if these coins go down in price a lot and stay there and never go back up.

Brilliant idea. Honestly, if you have a larger pool of funds, you can make a quick profit from doing this. Buying in volumes and then waiting for a centavos gain then you'll sell them eventually.
This how the whales are earning with smaller gains, they're making big gains already from it because of the quantity that they have from having those coins.

I think investing all of $1 million in one coin is not the best idea. The cryptocurrency market is very unpredictable and it is very risky to keep all your money in one place. The best way to reduce your risk is to diversify, so buy at least a few coins, for example from top20 - top50 on Coinmarketcap.

I think bitcoin is good for investing with $ 1,000,000 depend altcoin not have enough or much transaction volume, but I think future trading with this fund more interested trough bitcoin dump now and use 10x lev for long position, you can earn almost 10x than you use investing on spot trading because will have much profit with future than spot for trading. I love polygon matic myself because the team keeps building and improving and invest in new tech that they are working on. It lowers eth gas fees to a few cents.
Dot could definitely be a good one as well.
My view on Bitcoin isn’t as positive. I see many way better tech coins.

I would divide the capital you said into 4 parts and will invest 25% in Polygn (Matic), 25% in BNB, 25% in Doge and 25% and remaining 25% on BTC. Yes, I have been watching these 4 coins since last 3 years and I have much confidence on these 4 coins. Yes besides these coins, there are very many good coins like ETH, XLM and does anyone know of WOO coin and yes these are few best coins to invest in. Choose the best exchange to trade and thats important.

I will divide it to Bitcoin, Ethereum, 3-5 good altcoins and 2 meme coins the highest portion will go to Bitcoin (40%) then Ethereum (30%), 3-5 altcoins (20%) and meme coins/shit coins (10%). Once you have enough capital there is no need to take so many risks and you can instead take it easy, so with such a massive amount of capital most of that money should go to bitcoin so you can hold your coins for the long term.

And once the majority of your capital is in a good store of value and a great investment that is when you could consider to buy some coins that are not bitcoin, personally with that amount I will only buy bitcoin and forget about altcoins, but I know there are some people out there that like to take risks so it is fine to invest in altcoins with a small portion of your capital, as long as it does not compromise your bitcoin holdings.

from this ss above, you would realize that Bitcoin is currently at a percentage % of +54million since Genesis but we all still believe that Bitcoin is a good Investment hence, there are Altcoins that has the same potential as long as you are not investing in some shitcoins ;D

If I have $1 million I would invest in the top coins in the market that has good for long term investment so that I can earn at least x3 profit. I will put $50k one of them, bitcoin, ethereum, matic, bnb, cake.. these coins are good for long term. Also I would really like to staking coins so that I have a passive income.

Having bitcoin is a must for us. So with $1 million, we must buy bitcoin and use it as our main investment. But speaking about the altcoins, ethereum, bnb, solana, avax, and the other low coin price would be good for our next investment. But I will not use too big money to invest in altcoin because bitcoin is my concern now and that is because bitcoin can rise anytime. You can buy as many altcoins as possible because you have a lot of money that you can use to invest. Selecting a coin that we will use for staking is also good as you can expect to have a good return in the future and you will have a chance to sell it if the price increase.

Quite honestly I still do not understand why, assuming someone had that much money, they would go through the trouble of investing in altcoins.

With that money the only thing you need to do is to buy bitcoin, wait for the next bull run and be happy that you obtained huge profits that you would not have been able to obtain in any other market with a risk so low, investing in altcoins when your capital is so high is simply a waste of time as now you are adding a substantial amount of risk to a portfolio that does not real need it.

if you invested at this moment of bearish market that currently occuring you just have a really higher chance of scoring a better long term return of investment.I'd invest in an altcoins that are already down quite the value and could gets its value back again quite fast once the bearish market has finally subsided just like the ETH and maybe BNB, investing in higher ranked altcoins will hardly getting manipulated so if your investment is rather big, choosing the higher ranked altcoins by market capitalization is a necessity.

If I were you I will not do it.
Of course, I will do some diversification. But with that very big amount for me, I will use at least 65% to buy BTC and the least are for BNB and ETH. ANd only 10% for other altcoins.

Among the three coins I prefer to invest millions of dollars in FLOW coins, rather than DOT and NEAR, I don't like foundation-based coins, I prefer independent coins like FLOW.

As far as I know Flow coin has a good ecosystem in its development it also has good partners in the outside world such as UFC, Ubisoft, NBA and many others, supply is also not too much only around 318,082,398 FLOW currently available, I believe this coin will touch its initial price of $46 again, even though it is currently at $6, that's what attracted me to invest in FLOW.

 This is exactly what I did. I have a very little amount (around 400$) that I invested this month. And 100 of that went to bitcoin, 100 went to ETH, bought ADA with 50 and Matic with other 50, the rest went to Cake for staking which I was already doing so I added some more. Basically this is the way that I went with probably the most logical way where I both have some investments but I also have some sort of passive income from it at the same time. Not a great idea but a solid defensive idea where the downside is lower than most other methods. I will not earn as much as some other people but I will not lose as much as some others neither.

Now, I think about it, I probably wouldn't. I mean I get that crypto is a great investment and all, but in my nation 1 million dollars is such a huge amount of money that I could buy a whole building with it. So when you compare that to buying any crypto, that doesn't sound good enough.

I know that many people here know financials better than I do, and buying a basket of crypto with a million dollars could mean 10+ million dollars in just a few years so it would make a lot more sense to do that for many people. I would never invest that much money into alt coins xD it just sounds like too much money. But thats just me im very sceptical and wouldnt risk that much money. If I had that much money, I would invest in Layer 2 projects. Because I think Ethereum will never solve the scaling problem. Transfer costs will continue to be an issue. I think if I had the money I would put all in with BTC only, and wait a year or two and take my profit. I wouldn't select Alt, not even any of the list above. Too risky IMHO. If you are the king, why choose a big risk to get a profit, as simple as that. Be wise with your money and investment mate!

As an investor it's better to invest in a very reputable projects for that i have to make a split of such amount mentioned into 10 places and invest in top 10 project out there in the market.

These type of questions arise from not really real questions but usually what would you do in this case. Getting one wind turbine is give or take one million dollars, buy one and plant it somewhere that will generate a lot of money and you have a great income, and I mean a huge one, by the time it stops working, you could get about 1.5 or so, so get another one, and get a loan and pay the half in cash and with loan and you have 2 wind turbines after like 10 years. If you really do want to be in crypto with it, just be partners with a good company.

There are so many good choices to make in the market , but I think I would invest in ethereum if I had $1000000 for investment. But, my investment won’t go all in into ETH, I would also try to diversify and invest in other cryptocurrencies. That's a lot of money OP, most of that money should go into top projects in the crypto space starting from BTC, ETH, BNB, AVAX, MATIC, Terra Luna and Solana but make sure the highest money goes into BTC.

1 million dollars is a pretty huge amount and I would not risk it on low potential and low cap coins. I would prefer to invest such an amount in well established coins.

There would be my preference and will split up in below ratio
ETH - 35%
BNB - 10%
SOL - 20%

The list of 3 altcoins that OP listed is also very potential and worth long-term investment. If OP is looking for high-profit Flow is an option because Dot and Near have increased so many times, I think it is very difficult to get better profit than flow.

You have to think over and over again that this is not a small amount that you will throw in any one project and you will not have to worry about it. If I prefer coins/tokens from a functional and fundamental point of view, only long-term investment methods of any type and this method is much safer especially with capital as you said above because we know all crypto price movements can go up and down very quickly every day , the intention is to profit, it's a different story.

This is a huge amount that needs proper plan and monitoring before you start spending. Bitcoin should be in your portfolio, alts like BNB, Avax, Near, FTT, should also be included, preserve some amount to take part in presales with proper research and also do trading with some part of it. This is what I would do personally and I believe its going to work out well enough.

That's a great question. It really depends on your risk tolerance. I would put half of it in ICP and stake it, 25% in NEAR and stake it and take a loan on the stNEAR to live on, and I would spend the rest on microcaps like 0xMR and TRI.

There are plenty of altcoins where you can invest your portfolio but i will not agree with OP to invest everything in altcoins.

Let's suppose you have $ 1,000,000 total money to be invested in crypto. You should invest around 50% of this money in bitcoin. From the rest of the money, you can buy the altcoins of your choice.

I recommend that you go with bitcoin because it is legit. The only issue is that you must have patience and wait for the price to drop before buying and selling high to make a profit. well, if i had that kind of money i would generally build real assets. well, my goal in entering the crypto world is to generate as much assets, or higher for real-world business purposes.

That is a good idea. With 1,000,000$ in funds it's not necessary or recommended to invest in doubtful, suspicious altcoins. Better to stick with the currencies ruling crypto market, which at same time have a solid base, demand and reputation. Since OP asked for altcoins to be invested, I would probably would split 60-70% in ETH and 30-40% in BNB. Maybe for fun, I would select one more altcoin to invest up to 5% of the portfolio. Investing this way there is a lot of profit return potential for the next bull run, while not taking the high risks of investing in altcoins that only have a value because of hype and speculation.

Matic, Solana and Cardano are altcoins that I also often use for day trading because I still hesitate to keep them too long in current market conditions, so I always prefer to take profit in trading even though I can't get too much profit.

well, if this is a common choice, then in the crypto world, there is nothing better than bitcoin. So, if it was a common choice, I would also choose bitcoin. however, the choice lies in altcoins, and the best altcoins right now in my opinion are ethereum and BNB. Furthermore you can easily sleep in the night considering bitcoin wont go zero overnight. Putting this kind of money in altcoins is risky business. Still to overcome your urge of investing in altcoins could be fulfilled with remaining 10k USD and believe me considering alts prices its pretty enough. The only alt that I trust is RVN and ETH. My friend on Telegram gave some crypto tips and I really have learned an interesting thing from his tips and if I am to have $1,000,000 deposited in my wallet, I would not hesitate to buy $matic $BNB $ETHAX $BTC & $ETH. You must be earning a lot now even if you sell most of your btc on this gloomy market and I think that money would be enough to create your own project however a good capital is I think not enough but you also need a good mindset, so that you won't feel tied of developing this project for a long time, as you know a lot of projects can just come and go.

I would go the same way as you but I'll be more specific in my investment. The first part of my portfolio will be in Bitcoin, Ethereum and Binance coins, I'll buy this coins in very large quantity as I believe this project will keeps been the face of the industry for the next ten years and beyond. The next part of my portfolio will be in Defi, metaverse and meme coins (just dogecoin and Shiba Inu). But I am wondering why should be only altcoin to invest that huge money? If I were him, I will focus more on Bitcoin, although I have had any Bitcoin, but I will go again to Bitcoin investment. And then, leaving at least a third for altcoins. Because after all, the risk of altcoins is much higher than Bitcoin. with $1 million as an investment i think you should think about managing it professionally like those big business, its not gonna be ordinary investment anymore with that amount, if you invest in altcoins you will have quite hard time liquidating it
because such amount is quite huge that some times altcoin doesn't have sufficient trading volume.
I think wisest decision would be to put 80% of it into bitcoin since bitcoin increase with that much investment will definitely have massive effect while retaining the safety of bitcoin in term of volatility and the rest equally distributed among all the altcoins.

A $1 million investment in alternative currencies is unquestionably very risky in my opinion. However, a portion of this value might be used to buy these coins. Actually, I'm not a major admirer of alternative coins, though I'm not completely against them either. However, because they carry a certain risk, I'm not willing to put my entire money on the line. Huge amount seems not promising for investing in altcoin except with Ethereum only, I don't brave invest with altcoin if have $1 billion dollar capital and prefer for trading in bitcoin only. I don't think with small profitable when investing in Bitcoin depend price change under few percent only than altcoin has potential up and down more 10%. Not risk when investing in Bitcoin and recovery is real happening when price drop but can't guarantee when investing in altcoin will back to higher again one day later. I have planning keep save my capital when raising above $20k will invest in bitcoin only, have been frustrated when investing in altcoin have waiting more longer time back to higher price and very difficult to get the same price when first time investing. Recently I chatted with my best friend. We are talking about one of the altcoins owned by the same owner of the company OpenAI (ChatGPT). The altcoin is Worldcoin. My friend didn't advise me to buy the altcoin. But he told me to look at and research this altcoin. Because in my friend's opinion Worldcoin could be an altcoin that is growing quite rapidly or it could also fall quite drastically. The point is that it has a high risk but also has quite high potential. But my friend seems to have put a little of his money into altcoin investments in Worldcoin. But he said that we must be prepared to lose this money because the risk is quite high.

I'd stick 90%+ into bitcoin and then toy around with a couple alts.  I'd stick a large majority of the remaining into polygon/matic.  The coin shoukd be primed for a nice move in price once the bull run is in full affect.  But don't get it wrong most of it should get put into bitcoin.

The market is in good condition now and we can expect some good pumping in the bitcoin as well as in other coins. Investing in NEAR would not be as good as DOT. In these 3 I would like to have an opinion about the DOT, as it is going well from the start. But in between it has a little down. My one friend bought DOT for about 300$ and he has held it for a long term to give him some benefit. Unfortunately, after holding it for too many months he sold his DOT in a loss and he was in loss even though he had a loss of 150$.
He now holds only 80$ which is also in loss but he still believes that it will also reach the position it was before. Now he is waiting for the right time to buy a little more.

Not from the OP mentioned. Dot has huge token unlock events that can dump the price, NEAR is going to migrate into L2 through polygon ZK technology and about FLOW i don't know why anyone should buy it. The amount OP mentioned is great in number and only investing it in bitcoin and ETH can generate so much revenue that i don't need to risk this asset in other altcoins.

If we keep BTC and ETH aside then my choice will be projects that have a real use case throughout the industry like MakerDAO, LIDO finance and other projects that are fundamentally strong. These are really long term investment but for the next bull season my choice will be from Web3, AI, Decentralized social media etc

Most people will spend 50% for Bitcoin and 50% for altcoins. Bitcoin must be the priority, it is the ideal asset for a long term holding. I believe everyone keeping Bitcoin as their main asset for the future. But how long they target to take profits, it can be varied. For altcoins, I assume we can choose some altcoins, not only Ethereum. It won't be a bad idea to diversify our funds on the some top altcoins such as BNB, ADA, SOL, MATIC, DOT, XLM, or TRX. Diversification is a good strategy in investment, right? And it is very unfortunate if we don't take advantage from some altcoins. We have many options, why don't to try taking advantage on them.  :)

I am seeing MakerDao being more active in their development and hiring more people to get onto their community and I guess that's the part that they gets serious with more people getting on them.

Interesting list, SOL has been one of the coins that I have ignored for so long but looking at its gain now. I have people that are focused on it and that's what's entirely on their bag and happily sharing that they've gained that much. KAS is one of interested POW coin that people can still into it, looks like it hasn't got into any ATH as of the moment but just now based on its chart.

What i am seeing is MakerDAO becoming one of the most recognized RWA projects in the industry. They are diversifying their portfolio with real world assets and have already invested in few projects that are trying to connect real world assets with the crypto industry by tokenizing them. MakerDAO is a veteran in the crypto industry and they have an experienced team. It will be wise to track what they are doing in terms of development.

That's good if they're doing that actually. Investors are investing into a project that they can see what it has projected and it's happening in real life. If they are distributing like this and buying real world assets, that's just necessary for them if they have been into this niche as a project. Tokenizing assets and backing it up with the real one is a strong contender on this market where investors will find it interesting to get in.

It is not like buying real world assets and storing them in their custody. I think what they are doing is investing in various RWA projects that offer tokenized property and other assets to earn a yield. Banks actually do something similar with their customer funds but in crypto these projects are offering higher interest than banks. This is a trillion dollar market so if we can connect it with DeFi then it can be widely accessible to a larger audience. Although it is still unclear what will be the regulatory approach will be for this industry, right now it is a good opportunity.

Yeah, the concept is very the same with banks and other financial institutions and companies and I think that's what we're going to see mostly from projects that are on this niche with RWA. They are extending their assets through acquisitions of real assets and then reinvesting it to the project per se and then scatters it again, so it's like a cycle that we're likely seeing.

Yeah, i agree. 1M$ is a huge source of funds. If I could only choose to invest in altcoins, I would put them in top altcoins like ETH, BNB because they are options that have achieved high trust throughout history. , user base and applicability. I would not bet such a large amount of capital without a consistent and unified plan. BNB has problems related to binance and CZ problems but its development and potential are hard to deny.

If you asked same question couple years ago, I'd have said altcoins (and if I had invested this money in alts actually, I'd have lost most of it by now) but after lessons learned over this lapsed time now I'd stick with Bitcoin and 25% for Ethereum.

Why wouldn't you just put your money into bitcoin.  That should easily 2-5-10x your money. Too many people try to strike it rich with altcoins but there is so much downside risk I don't understand unless you have  massive bitcoin holdings already and just looking for a gamble.  Otherwise why wouldn't you consider bitcoin?

Basically if I had this amount of money I would never fully invest. I would never choose an altcoin as an investment because I don't trust altcoins as much as I trust bitcoin. In every of your listing you never mentioned Bitcoin, seems you are a great Altcoins fan. These are top notch Altcoins you listed that are capable of giving profits, be rest assured if all this should be on the list then definitely there is every chances of making huge profits from the investment.

It is easier said than done. Many persons make estimate as though they will really put in such amount at once into altcoin investment. It's funny some persons are good at giving advise but they will never try it on themselves, even if they have such amount in their possession. However $1 million is too much for gambling with altcoin. There are several altcoins out there that might have lasted for years but the intention of the developers are for scam purpose, so be careful with the choice you make in altcoin. Scammers and hackers are becoming more innovative with new ideas, and will do everything possible to make their project properly presentable and look legit. The only coin I can recommend half of that amount for is Bitcoin.

I will not invest in any of these 3 coins you provided I will only invest in Ethereum, BNB, Solana and XRP these top position coins also I will not invest in any other altcoins especially I will never invest my $1000000 in meme coin. You imagine $10,00000 dollars is a huge amount of money which must be properly applied only then you will get maximum success.

maybe with that kind of money it would be better for you to buy bitcoin rather than an altcoin, bitcoin will protect our wealth with a limited supply of only 21 million tokens in the world, but if you ask for recommendations on what altcoin to buy with that kind of money, of course I choose ethereum, we have to admit eth is the king of altcoins and is also called the bitcoin killer, that's the reason I chose eth to recommend it and remember, this is not financial advice, this is just my personal assumption.

However, If I were required to invest $1 million in crypto, I would probably choose the top coin currently available. In fact, if I were to choose 10 coins for $1 million, then it would end up being popular coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB, XRP, SOL, ADA, and other popular coins. I don't want to take risks by investing in new coins or projects.

$10,000,000 is a the space equivalent for me to even imagine. Hypothetically if I have $1000000 then I must invest 50 percent in Bitcoin 40 percent in Ethereum and rest 10% in other altcoins (should be top position). Here I will not give myself to invest in any coin you provide. But I wouldn't go wrong with 50% of my bitcoin investment as I'm the highest risk taker and will take the risk between bitcoin and ethereum as I have the highest reliance on these coins.

It's only $1M not $10M though it's still a huge amount but nice composition you got there however with all of those amounts, are you sure? You can't even believe to have a money like that, so why will you only use it all for investment and why not use it first to fulfil your dreams? You know buying the luxurious items and stuffs. I'm pretty sure that once you avail all of them, there will still be plenty of money left in your stash.

I still won't use all of them though but I will set aside for emergency use and for the regular expenses. Back in your composition, you have 10 percent allocation for top altcoins and I think those 3 coins the OP listed are also among it, so why not?

Dot could be good one for investment. Heard about near which could be okey but i don't know about flow. Well I won't investment any of those. First I'll buy ether with large amount for secure investment. Then sol, matic as well asa bnb for my pick up. All of those have good prospective for future. Then i bet for doge and shiba with little money cause thus i can get a huge money if luck favourable in my side. Besides i will try some gaming and ai coins and some new altcoins with low amount cause 1m is huge money.  

$1,000,000 is a big amount of money. Sure, Bitcoin should be the priority to invest with that huge money. The rest can be invested in Ethereum. I think it is enough to invest in 2 coins, Bitcoin and Ethereum. When you invest in these 2 coins, it will be safe because they are the top coins in crypto industry. And when we are in the bullish season, Bitcoin and Ethereum became the coins that have biggest interest for all crypto investors. That's why they are easily increasing massively.

Meme coins are bad choices if we want to put big amount of money. I myself only brave to invest small amount of money in meme coins. But it is also not for holding a long time, it is just for a short term investment. We don't know if meme coins can be still hype in the next few years. It can disappear if there is no longer hype in meme coins.

It is a very large amount of investment and I will not choose one coin if you invest in different coins it will be possible to get profit from all coins. BNB and eth are growing exponentially from matic. These are more profitable than other coins.

I think I can live peacefully with that amount of investment, look for something clear with the smallest risk and Bitcoin and ethers are the choices, while for altcoins, of course, they have potential. But I agree to share several investment options so that the profits obtained are maximized.

in this case nowday Ethereum can take precedence since ETF is incoming its only matter of time, we know how bullish bitcoin is when ETF gets approved the price literally jumping and the sentiment is good moving forwards i will expect the same with ethereum except though maybe at lesser scale the price might jump but probably won't affect other altcoin or at least only affect L2 since we know etheruem itself is an altcoin.
but if it were to be approved of ETF then it almost instantly means quick profit for those that holds.
on the other hand though there are altcoin season that was expected to be coming by many people out there, im sure it will be something big in the future.
after all seeing past cycle, after every bitcoin bullish there is altcoin season.

actually even 3 coins is not enough for me to invest for,instead  i am looking for 5-10 different cryptocurrencies and aside from those you mentioned I also wanted to Buy Solana and Cardano , also never forget to put some in Bitcoin , actually bigger part in bitcoin.

That's unaffordable for me to loose so I can't invest such amount of money on the AltCoins being aware that AltCoins can be funny at any given time. for now if I was given 1 million$ I would buy the current token narrative, namely memecoin, modular, layer2, restaking and the rest waiting for the opportunity.
Because the circulation of money is fast in crypto, you have to make the right choice if you want to get a fast return.

That seems to be a gamble if I'll be investing that $1M into those coins. I know that I may not be in-depth with those that you've mentioned. But it seems like a totally risky idea to get your money with them.

That is true but if you invest wrongly to those cryptocurrencies that you may just try to do it without having the research. You're just making the devs pocket of those coins fat.

If I have a million dollars, I have several coins listed in my plan and invest them in different parts. But my investment portfolio will definitely have bitcoin first and then invest in ethereum, polka dot and SOLANA coins. But I would never invest a million dollars in any particular altcoin. I will invest in different altcoins divided into different parts.

Its more better to first consider the risk in making an investment on altcoins before investing $1,000,000 into any altcoin, if it were to be be bitcoin, i may not exercise doubt or fear, you can remember that its not advisable to invest all your asset on a single coin, but its a wise decision if you split the money on more than one in other to increase your chances for profitability and reduced rate of risk on loosing the entire asset on a single investment.

Sharing the capital to invest in different coins on the market is the best way to earn a reliable profits from that capital because, you cannot Miss your luck in all the coins you have share the money to invest and, when BTC started pumping in the market, it will bring a good profits at the end.

And if you include Ethereum and BNB, you will not regret when the time of harvest come and you will surely double the $1million from the investment because such huge amount of capital will bring huge profits that will increase your wealth in the future.

I don't want to put that much risk with that money. I'll still buy the conventional ones like BTC, ETH and other top altcoins that are on my radar.
The rest of the money, I'll invest it to some businesses and investments outside the crypto market like real estate since that amount is more than enough to have multiple rental properties.

I wouldn’t buy only altcoins with all that money; I’ll buy Bitcoin too. I’ll buy Bitcoin, Top Altcoins, and other altcoins (meme, etc) in the ratio of 10:7:3. So Bitcoin takes up 50% of the money, then top Altcoins like Ethereum, BNB, etc will take up 35%. And lastly, 15% can be risked for memecoins and upcoming coins which their success aren’t really known. And that’s fair money because investing $150,000 is a lot.

Lets Tally a good list to look at now  because here are lot of changes in the market these days .


Bitcoin (BTC)= 40%

Ethereum (ETH)=30%

Solana (SOL)=20%

Cardano (ADA)=10%

For me these are the coins that will give us good return in the coming months so try not to be late.

I don't think it's reasonable to invest a million dollars on any one altcoin, especially in the current market context, I would definitely advise caution in investing in volatile altcoins other than the best projects in the coin market, especially the popular ones like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana. . As the investment portfolio value is one million dollars so of course for this one million dollar investment I would prefer bitcoin first then I would be interested in investing in altcoin as per the research.

Firstly Its difficult for me to imagination having such amount when my economic condition is bad after losing capital in trade. Whatever, lets suppose i have that amount! Then i wouldn’t invest that anywhere lol. But if i have to invest that in cryptocurrency, then I'll obviously buy btc eth bnb matic cake apt sui and others truth worthy altcoins with 0.3 million. 0.2 m will use for strong memecoin like bome, doge and others new/old valid altcoins. Maybe 0.2m Will lock as stake on btc/eth And rest of 0.3m capital will keep in hand, so that i can management a sector from it if any unfortunate happened

If I had that much money, won't invest all as i won't afford to lose but if condition is, i have to buy only cryptocurrency! then definitely I'll put that money in Bitcoin without any hesitation.
