Title: How to track investment amounts
Post by: KHamilton on January 04, 2022, 08:25:03 PM
Hello, I'm trying to go back and track my investment amounts on some coins I purchased within Kucoin and Trust Wallets. 99% of the time I purchase using limit orders on Kucoin and in my other wallets I can just go to the order history and see how much I spent to buy the coin. I cannot see how or where to do this in Kucoin. In Trust wallet, I'm just at a loss all together. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

On Kucoin using their mobile app,

Click on "trade" and you'll see an icon at the lower right adjacent to the "open orders". Click that and you'll find the "order history".

It's probably the same if you're using the main site.

You could also link up the API Key of your trading account to a portfolio manager like coinstats, Delta app or bit universe which will be able to record your trafing history, profit and loss

The old Blockfolio App (now FTX) works great.  I highly recommend checking it out.

on website go top right corner "Orders" and "Spot Trade History". Select date and pair ...
Try exporting to CSV which can be open excel and use sum function.

I tend to agree with the comments above, just try to use their Kucoin app to have different features that you want like tracking your assets or checking your trade orders using the app.
You can watch this Youtube tutorial for more info. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9jYjcF1RIM.

There are too many coin trackers that you can use, just do your own research about this.

Thanks everyone, and what about TRUST wallet and Coinbase exchange? Where would I find those investment amounts?

For trust wallet, it's there.

It's beside the crypto icon if you ever have that crypto sitting there. As you open the app, there's the amount on how much you've invested for that crypto.

For example, bitcoin and BNB, it's there on the right side.

Not sure about trust wallet, but most if not all centralized exchanges like Coinbase/Kucoin has a trading/order history page. They should be very easily findable because I'm pretty sure no competent trader/investor doesn't look at this exchange history.

I think there is no history on trustwallet, but what I did is copy the address and check the transaction link on bscscan or etherscan and see the conversion rate where the tokens and main tokens has been consume like how many bnb or eth versus the quantity from there you can manually compute how much did you spend.

Hi, is blockfolio safe?

Am fairly new to crytpo so forgive me if that is a stupid question just want to make sure before I link my portfolio.

I use Coinbase and can see I can link my porfolio to Blockfolio.

I am just looking for an easy way of keeping an eye on all my crypto purchases.
Yeah, it is. It's now owned by FTX exchange, therefore you will realize that the app is now named as FTX.

You can either add the coins you have invested in manually or connected an exchange directly using the API and Secret key created from coinbase. Just make sure when you are creating the API key. Disable all other permissions such as withdrawal or trading. It should be only on read only mode.
