I assume you don't need to deal with fiat? If so, then there is OKEX (10 BTC per 24 hours as a withdrawal limit) and KuCoin which has 1 BTC per day (decreased recently) but I wouldn't be surprised if they decided to enforce it all of a sudden just like Binance did.

I don't recommend to do trading in those exchanges which do not require KYC. But If you want to do that, you can trade in Kucoin without KYC, you just have to make account verify email and phone number/2FA.  There are some limits in kucoin for non KYCed users, so must check them before trading.

Kucoin. But you've got to be ready for sudden KYC enforcements like OmegaStarScream said.

If you want far lower likeliness of having AML/KYC(though still not impossible), go for the likes of dYdX or other DEXs that has WBTC. They're far less liquid than the typical spot exchange like Binance, but it does the job.

I don't recommend to do trading in those exchanges which do not require KYC.

And, even in those who require KYC, I wouldn't hold there more btc than the strictly necessary to trade.

About fulfilling the KYC or not, I suppose that it depends on the OPs intentions: in many countries the Government is starting to ask exchanges for their citizens' data; or maybe he is afraid of a security breach and being victim of phishing. What are your intentions, if you can tell?

Check Coinex.com you can trade there without KYC just don't forget your password because if you forgot they will force you to verify the KYC just like what happened to me last year.

Take note to those who don't know Coinex exchange is owned by ViaBTC which is a well-known pool operator. And their withdrawal limit is around 10,000 USD in any crypto or Bitcoin.

Kucoin isn't requiring KYC so you're suggesting a contradiction of what you're telling about not advisable to trade on exchanges that don't require KYC.

Although most exchanges are seen to be going there anytime soon that they might enforced KYC to all of their customers. Just like what binance did, they're one of the exchanges that's known to have a non-kyc policy and then surprised us with their forced KYC.

There are lot's of exchange which you can trade bitcoin and other coins but some of them require kyc before you can trade and not everybody is ready to reveal there identity so they prefer using exchange that won't require kyc.
I personally will recommend you to use kucoin exchange because is a reliable exchange where you can trade bitcoin and other coins and kyc on KuCoin exchange is not compulsory so you can trade there without kyc.

Up to KuCoin, if not the cup of your tea then any other DEX should do the job. There should also be other exchanges out there that would let you trade, but it has severe withdrawal limits (and probably some other restrictions in place as well), not to mention the countries the exchange itself doesn't really allow to trade in.

^ Probably email and password would be fine as a KYC requirement rather than downloading your photos and national IDs.
But... that's not KYC? I mean it fits OP's criteria but KYC is submitting documents, official ones, that let them identify your identity, and an email and a password are not one of those. ID's are.

Basically you need to understand this.

Currently there are a few KYC free exchanges you can use. However keep in mind that at anytime they can add KYC and this goes one or two ways.

1) Poloniex and Bittrex basically did mandatory KYC and they didn’t let you withdraw at all if you didn’t want to do it. People got their funds frozen on those exchanges

2) Bitmex and Binance were nicer. They announced ahead of time of the KYC and gave you enough time to withdraw.

So which option the exchange uses it’s up to them. But there is always a risk.

OP is already answered your question and suggested but my personal opinion is first you choose any trusted platform then the investment is not recommended any exchanger because vary to need your purposes that then you decided finally invest, you may know that many exchangers have been hacked which is why exchanges are now required for KYC verification. In the interest of increasing the limit and their own security, most of the trusted exchanges are asked to perform KYC verification.

Cryptocurrency exchange hacked was not the reason why some exchanges implemented KYC verification and to my own understand KYC was introduced by the country where they can license to reduce and track down AML and the people involved with dirty coins.
Among all the exchange listed Hotbit is the only exchange I used that don't request for KYC at all but we need to confirm if they still operate in that manner.

I have never found a trading platform method (margin trading), without using KYC, although, there are. even then it must be asked what securities or brokerage methods they use for customers who want to make loans.

OP, lately I've seen on this forum a trading platform that uses securities method services for customers in the form of crypto and USDT loans on the platform: https://m.mexc.com/, you can find their campaign here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5379290.0, If you want to try, just ask the campaign manager or the mexc telegram platform, later you can find a lot of info there about mexc.

The same applies to Kucoin. Never ever forget the trading password or attempt to reset it. You will be asked (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5317159.msg56344390#msg56344390) to upload your KYC documents.

List might be outdated and misleading. Bybit is moving more to the direction of KYC enforcement
HitBTC is scam, and they ask for KYC most of the time when they want to take your funds

All most all exchanges will require you to go through some sort of KYC if you want to get involved with fiat currencies. But if you are looking for just exchanging/trading between crypto currencies, then there are some exchanges that you can use without KYC but with some restrictions. You can try Kraken or Kucoin. Both has no KYC requirement as long as you are trading only between different crypto currencies. But like others said, KYC might be enforced at any moment and your funds might get frozen if you fail to pass KYC. Other option is to use a DEX.

But likely they can require for kyc at any point in time, like if suspecting someone's account? I believe this will be, as they are still centralized. How also about FTX? I have not used both before, but I have seen some posts it is also suggested. The exchanges are centralized and exchange developers have full control which can overide their customers control trading account, but in regards to OP's questions, this is still the best to go for. But we should know that centralized exchanges can go for kyc option at any point in time, making it mandatory.

No, I  actually meant they could decide to change the KYC policy and make it mandatory for everyone without prior sudden, maybe Bittrex is a better example for that.

As for FTX, then I'm honestly not really sure. I haven't used it before, but it looks like they have a very low limits (2000 USD per day) and that's only if you're willing to provide "soft KYC" (full name, address, phone number, and country): https://help.ftx.com/hc/en-us/articles/360027668192-Individual-Account-KYC

Since most of the exchanges are now requiring KYC, there's no other way but to do KYC, I mean binance requiring KYC doesn't bother me at all because they are the best exchange so far since I've started trading in cryptocurrency. Kucoin ain't that bad either but I will recommend binance for their overall good service. It's better to put your funds somewhere you think it's safe and in good hands.

I've tried trading with Kucoin and so far, they don't ask for KYC but as for me, KYC shouldn't be a problem because most exchange as it for our own good as well. Most reputable and trusted exchanges these days are asking for KYC which is acceptable and reasonable. I guess the best thing that we should look for in exchange is their reputation and not those who don't ask for KYC.

It depends on the country you are residing for KYC requirements. Maybe your country is not that strict in terms of online exchange regulation. Sooner or later everyone will be required to undergo KYC as it a must for an exchange to maintain there license and business permit. KYC serves as protection too in case someone hack your account so that you can recover it.

Yeah, Reputation is the most  important things to be considered when dealing on exchange but honestly most of the CEX especially those well known are less risky compared before.

You can try Kucoin if its just small amount of BTC and do trading, also DEX are working for trading though I don’t know if BTC already available to their platform. Anyway, there’s still a way to trade anonymously just look for the best site that is available for your country and you’ll be good.

In the case of binance, we're already there and there's no other option but to just comply to what they like.

If you don't comply, you're not able to trade. As for these exchanges that don't require it yet, they might do the same thing as what binance did. They're all following the steps of binance and it's possible that they may ask for the same.

But, for the meantime, while they're not asking for it, you can enjoy using them like kucoin.

Yes exchanges that are offering KYC are offering better protection for their clients in case that things should go wrong, such as hack. But, it all depends on what you  really want, there are some of us who prefers to maintain their privacy all the time and they don’t want to be giving out information to just any exchange. Of course, KYC is not a problem to me, as long as the exchange that I am making use of is a reputable exchange, such as Binance.com, Coinbase.com, etc. So, it’s not really a problem at all, it’s just preferences, whatever works for you is what you should choose.

If you have plans to do margin trading, then there are exchanges that would allow you to trade on their platform without having to do KYC. Although your activities on some of these exchanges might be limited, such as your amount that you can deposit and withdraw. And another thing is that it depends on the country that you are staying. For margin trading, I am going to recommend that you choose Bybit exchange.

This exchange is really a good exchange and features advanced tools, and it allows its users to trade without having to do any form of KYC.

But, it doesn’t allow U.S. citizens on its platform. So if you are in the US, this is not an option. Maybe you can look at Nominex exchange, it is another good exchange, but your withdrawal and deposit would be limited to three BTC in a day. Finally I’m also going to recommend binance.com, which is already a popular exchange, and they allow you to trade without KYC to an extent. Try to do your own research still and see what you can come up with.

it wasn't new to us (but probably you) that most exchangers are asking for but there is some exemption, make a trade with a small amount as surely they don't care about it. But wait, use not know exchanges as these reputable exchanges will caught you up and ask KYC. Or , have to make trade online like asking your friend.
But since you were talking about margin trading, that seems impossible. And I have one piece of advice, don't make a deal online and promise you not to ask KYC especially for strangers.

Since binance requires its members to verify KYC, the main choice is currently Kucoin, and if you are still not comfortable with that, then Okex is the second choice. however, both exchanges are still included in the list of the best exchanges currently available. so, if you want to try it, you just need to register, and fill in some data to be able to start trading.

It's quite skeptical to trade with no kyc platform mate, because mostly are not reliable when it comes trading. Actually there are some trusted platforms but i dont know if they're still existing.. I mean accepting such features. By the way there are some swap sites maybe helpful. Because you don't need any information just a wallet to sync in within the site and you can literally trade your money.. But no margin wherein just a simple trade mate.

Since decentralized exchanges do not require verification, you should use the Dydx.exchange, where margin trading is available. From centralized exchanges, I recommend using the exchange Bybit.com which currently does not require KYC for margin trading. But you should understand that these rules can be changed at any time.

Most of the centralized exchanges required to do kyc approval before trading but only some big centralized exchanges don't have to do kyc . I e Kucoin centralized exchange and mexc exchange don't have to do KYC process. You can try to trade those exchanges.

Most reputable and trusted exchanges these days are asking for KYC which is acceptable and reasonable. I guess the best thing that we should look for in exchange is their reputation and not those who don't ask for KYC.

I fear exchanges that are centralized because of this KYC, they may not ask you for identification at the start but what happens when the market favors you and you had a million in your exchange wallet? what do you think will happen when you want to withdraw out that big sum of stash, they will want to play the victim and hide and seek games, I don't trust any exchange with free KYC, sooner or later they will ask for it.

It depends on the country you are residing for KYC requirements. Maybe your country is not that strict in terms of online exchange regulation. Sooner or later everyone will be required to undergo KYC as it a must for an exchange to maintain there license and business permit. Yeah, Reputation is the most  important things to be considered when dealing on exchange but honestly most of the CEX especially those well known are less risky compared before.

Reputation is one thing and regulation is a different thing, US traders, for example, were forced to use Binance(dot)us but the same are freely trading on Kucoin without even KYC, by the time Kucoin get the recognition and volumes Binance has managed to hold for the years, they will be forced to KYC their customer or specifically open a US Kucoin and not just US alone, some other developed countries will want a regulation.

As time goes by, most centralized exchanges are starting to require their customers to undergo KYC.
I am curious why some people don't want to undergo KYC since in the first place they know that they signed up for a centralized exchange?
Another thing is, there are already a lot of decentralized exchanges (DEX) now that offer almost the same as centralized exchange especially like the futures market.

I use Kucoin, Lbank and Hotbit without need to KYC for trade btc and other altcoin assets but give limit withdrawing under 2 btc in daily day, I think you can use third exchange above for trading bitcoin without need to KYC. Maybe Kucoin is the best exchange I think than Lbank and Hotbit still less transaction coin volume, but for bitcoin trading you can use third exchange above because for bitcoin have special volume transaction on all exchange market. But I worry how can you withdraw your fund later to be cash money without have exchange pass KYC because Kucoin, Llbank and Hotbit not support withdrawing to bank account.

If the volume of your trade is not so big ( under 1 BTC a day ) there are some several quite big exchanges that don't require KYC if you want to buy or sell BTC there like Kucoin, bitfinex, or hitbtc.
But at some point you will be asked to do the KYC such as doing bigger volume trades or like withdrawing some big amount of assets to another wallet.
If you still don't want to do the KYC, you could split your assets into several accounts to make a bigger trade but it's not recommended to do

Some of the trusted and known exchanges before now requires a KYC such as Binance and currently now with not having a restriction with their KYC is the Kucoin which is one of the exchange support different coins too. For their restriction of transactions.

Code:
KuCoin users that complete KYC verification will enjoy higher daily withdrawal limits.  The new withdrawal limits are listed below.

Verified Individual Account: 100 BTC per 24hr
Verified Institutional Account: 500 BTC per 24hr
Non-verified Account: 2 BTC per 24hr

If you are not a large investor this is suitable for you but if not i guess you need to pass with their security of KYC.

If you still don't want to do the KYC, you could split your assets into several accounts to make a bigger trade but it's not recommended to do
If he would be OK with the limitations of using Binance, then he can go ahead with it. 2 BTC is still much for most of the traders, so if the withdrawal that he would be making on a daily wouldn’t be more than 2 BTC, then Binance would be a good choice, because it is already a very popular exchange and is trusted by a lot of traders.

But, if he should decide that he needs another exchange that doesn’t require KYC apart from Binance(which has a partial verification), then I think exchanges like changelly.com might be a good choice. Changelly.com has been around for a long time, I think around 2013 or 2014, and that’s really a long time and they are quite trusted by a lot of people. I already saw someone recommend this.

Since decentralized exchanges do not require verification, you should use the Dydx.exchange, where margin trading is available.
I don't know about margin available or not in DEX, but surely DEX doesn't require KYC. There are most trusted DEX can be used, why did you choose Dydx?
Uniswap or Pancakeswap, I think these DEXs are most famous than Dydx. Regarding margin, what I know so far, it is one of the features we can get from CEX, such as in Binance, top exchanges. Is DEX having margin as well, bro?

Yes, margin trading is available on Dydx.exchange. It is for this reason that I recommended OP to use this decentralized exchange. If you are interested in this exchange for trading, you can easily find an overview of this exchange on YouTube, or use Google search.

That depends. If the amount that you are storing on the exchange would be just a small amount then I am going to recommend that you make use of Binance.com. Binance is a very popular exchange and one of the largest in the world today.

So, it is a really good choice to go for if you wouldn’t be storing much money in it. They will allow you to withdraw up to two BTC in a day without account verification, so you should look at that and if it’s something that you are OK with, then you can go for this choice. Apart from that you can as well consider shapeshift and changelly.com, the two of them are also exchanges that allows their users to have full privacy.

Of course, they will allow you once you have done with your KYC and you ask if what are their rules now? I think nothing have change in regards to this. They still ask for a KYC and i think they are not planning to remove it anytime soon, if that is your concern. I do not know if it is true but someone said that kucoin does not require a KYC for a small amount of trade? But, to be sure let us read their terms first. Kucoin is a centralized based exchange I think all centralized exchange do always require a KYC. If we do not want to do KYC, there are decentralized exchange that we can use although most of them are not known and they can be risky.

You are talking about the old rules on this exchange, when it was possible to trade without KYC and the withdrawal was for such unverified users no more than 2 BTC per day. The main problem is that it is impossible to trade on Binance at all until you pass verification.

Code:

Kucoin is the best exchange but there are also other exchanges which also give a limited service for those who have not KYC verified accounts. But if you want to use without limits then DEX are the best option.

I guess without kyc, you will be left with almost no centralized exchanges? So, you have to buy crypto peer to peer and you can probably search online about such peers and maybe meet them face to face, buy the coins from them using cash and then trade on decentralised exchanges? I guess still you have disclose your identity to that seller from whom you are buying from, unless you earn crypto from somewhere, buying crypto totally anonymously is a bit hard I guess.

hi guys

happy new year for all

pls tell me
what is best platformes that not need kyc for traiding >>> margin traiding
I think kucoin is best which allow user ti trade without Kyc. But i fear in future  like Binance they will also ask for Kyc. Overall best cex exchange and high liquidity.
Mexc us second option where you can buy and sell without kyc but never use Margin trading there

Kucoin have problem with deposit confirmation and not unusual other exchange market deposit take few minutes only and maximum with BSC coin network just need 5 minutes only, but with Kucoin you need waiting almost one hour when deposit coin not care about which one network coin do you use, last week I try deposit bitcoin on two exchange market, first to Binance where deposit can success without few minutes after blockchain transaction completed but on Kucoin need waiting almost one hours to see my history transaction have been completed on Kucoin deposit history.

I don't advise you trade with platform that does not require kyc the risk is high.

I don't trade with platform that does not require kyc so  I don't know any to recommend.

From my understanding, the only reason allowing them to not ask for KYC is the fact that they're based in Seychelles.

The platform has been around for many years, and they also own a licensed fiat exchange[1] (OKCOIN) in the U.S so I don't think there is anything worrying about them.
