Title: Bitcoin marketplace payment provider
Post by: adamcro on January 07, 2022, 10:54:18 PM

I want to build a marketplace, so there is a buyer and a seller. So when a buyer buys something from the seller I take the fee. Thus part of buyer's money goes to my account like (10%) and the rest to the seller.

Is there any payment provider in crypto world that allows that? Or if there isn't, what's possible solution for my problem?

I don't think you will find a way to make the buyer's transaction in which they pay the seller also pay you a fee at the same time. This would require the buyer to make a pay-to-many transaction, which is a very different process depending on the buyer's wallet, many users don't know how to do it, and it may not be possible at all if the buyer is using a wallet which does not support this, paying directly from an exchange or web wallet, etc.

With that in mind, the set up you will need will simply be that you provide an address to the buyer, and then once you have received payment you forward the payment on to the seller minus your fee. You could potentially batch your forward payments to save on transaction fees and consolidate your takings together, rather than being left with lots of small inputs, but this could adversely affect the privacy of your customers (both buyers and sellers).

So, you want to build an e-commerce store where there are buyers and sellers that accept Bitcoin as a payment.

I think you need to seek a business advisor for this, not here.  Because to build a business like this is very crucial, first, you need to build trust between the sellers and the buyers when you have an e-commerce platform for that matter.

I don't know how reliable to use Bitpay because I read somewhere else they aren't good.  But for further information that you will get, just read this article and hey, good luck with your business.

Hello, we do develop marketplace software for crypto projects. Lately, we've been engaged with exchanges, NFT marketplaces, and product/ service providers. if you wish, I can DM you with our platform solution. Literally, you can integrate anything with anything :-)
