I'm a man that always talk about bitcoin, and also believes in it  because have seen people who have achieved from bitcoin and I also made a decision I must benefit from bitcoin.  When I first heard about bitcoin all my thought was that I can benefit from it immediately.  Later  understood it takes patience and good understanding to benefit from bitcoin.
  I'm a laboratory scientist I don't earn much from my salary but I have always invested in bitcoin to help me to be financially stable, I have been doing this for longtime patiently waiting for my gains. Part of the payment for this property was gotten with the help of bitcoin I have been investing. I'm the luckiest person to have embrace bitcoin, if not for bitcoin it would have take me a longtime and so much  stress to accomplished this project. Thank you bitcoin.

Is being a lab scientist doesn't give you enough salary?

Well, at least you did the right thing to invest your money while the price is still low and you did gain your profit during bull run. I'm surprised you didn't quit your job as most of the people that who has some testimony here quit their main source of income just to do full time trading in Bitcoin. I bet most of them regret those decision they made since trading is not for everyone.

I am sure that this is one of the inspiring experiences about the gain from Bitcoin and also other cryptocurrencies.
I am struggling right now to at least also have that kind of poverty, to live with my family, and to avoid the banking system with a loan to buy our house later.
There are many inspiring experiences and with hard works, patience, smart works, and also good efforts, I am also sure that many more can also achieve each goal.

Incidentally, just yesterday I read and responded to a thread in the Economics section about a certain survey in which it was found out that there are some people who were able to pay downpayment to their own house because of Bitcoin. Yours is a testimony that it is indeed true.

And it is nice to hear that you’ve been a hodler for a long time, patiently waiting for your gains. There are countless others who are thinking that investing in Bitcoin would make them rich overnight. They’re oftentimes the same people who are too emotional that they easily fall victim both to FOMO and FUD. A patient hodler doesn’t fall to panic selling.

Yeah you are a lucky person mate , yes you have a very great choice in life investing in Bitcoin and now having that property?
My house is still under construction because of the sudden drop of market , i wasn't able to cash out before the dump so maybe i will wait for a while again before taking funds to continue the construction.
Hope that you'll have more from this market so there will be added on that property like car or something to add on.

Laboratory scientists are getting high salaries in the western world only.
I live in a country,where lab scientists get average salaries and a truck driver gets a higher salary,compared to a scientist(which is ridiculous).

I had the same feeling one year ago because I had bought a plot where I used more than 50% of the plots price from my bitcoin savings.
I did not feel bad because I spent my bitcoins because I am still here and still accumulating but the fact that bitcoin made it possible for me to buy the land so early was really an achievement for me.
If not for bitcoin it would have taken few more years for me to get that land. You must be really happy with that house.
Also, the house will always remind you of how you use your bitcoin savings to get the house. So it will always be a happy memory.

No, scientists, even with fancy PhD degrees get paid really poorly unless they work for industry research and development. Academics does not have a lot of funds and most scientists are expected to be paid peanuts because its very hard to get job and scientists care more about the science than the money. This are both facts that are abused and exploited by the people who hire them.

can you give us small idea how much this cost and how much Bitcoin you put into it? sorry but this sounds interested because the amount of Crypto vested in that property will be very helpful for others to look unto it and to be inspired of that achievement .
Same here in mine i also wanted to pursue that amount if given a  chance.
though i already have some funds reserve for my future house and i wanted this to be luxurious and worth my investments.
if you read OP then you'll see that investing is what he does meaning that is Buying and selling though there are small or large waiting time for that .

Well, many are expecting that they will achieve the same as you but investing only in Bitcoin and just wait isn't enough but still congrats on your achievement.
With the help of Bitcoin plus your job plus your initiative to invest a portion of your salary into Bitcoin lead you into buying your own home.

This just shows that working 8 hours a day or more will not make you rich or at least buy the things you want. Rich people didn't rely on their job or in one income source only but they had invested into something whether it is an asset like Gold or stocks or invested in knowledge that made them a successful businessmen. OP what kind of lab scientist are you?What is your field of study? Microbiology? Environmental science? I’m interested because my brother runs an laboratory in Nigeria. They run all kinds of parameters there. He’s doing well and is comfortable. You have a good profession that can explode into something bigger. You have lit the match by owning your own lab now you need a good PR to market your services.

That's great and see how btc could be beneficial for those who have faith in it but actually what i will say is don't believe anything blindly especially in this crypto market and you need to check the problem and coin working in detail before investing in it.But if you completely understand bitcoin you would come to know about the security, complete decentralisation and deflationary nature of it apart from profits.

those who protect your privacy, because I'm also one of those people who always maintain privacy, I don't want my private life to be known to many

I'm sorry you don't receive enough funding for your research, though. It's unfair how in some countries science is not considered important enough, whereas some other things humanity doesn't need that much get more funding. I was about to ask the same question, how long does it take the ops to achieve this success and how many percent of Bitcoin was part of the project, we are inspired by the result of the ops and will want others to know that bitcoin investment is a great alternative to your monthly 8 hours job.

What you've been fighting for all this time, the results are already visible. I also categorize that you are part of the lucky people of bitcoin investment. There are still a lot of lucky people out there who invest in bitcoin, but they don't promote it. If you're just working for an existing one, I doubt it will give you much, that also depends on your cost of living. At least being a lab scientist earns more than majority of the day job.
I kinda admire the guy for being a Bitcoin enthusiast despite of having a good profession, because most of the people I knew who are professional doesn't give a damn about Bitcoin because they solely rely on their "high paying" jobs with their own standards lol.
Having Bitcoin is way different than just relying on your salary, It will give you more wealth than what you get on your retirement from your company.

Congrats for your achievement. I know many of us here who already gain from their Bitcoin investment has already achieve the same thing but chose to keep it to themselves.

I remembered the 2017 bullrun, I gained a lot during that time, not only in Bitcoin but with my alts holdings as well. I managed to renovate our house in the province and buy some appliances. Its a memorable moment that I will never forget. Because of Bitcoin I had the chance to earn money aside from my real job and even surpassed my monthly salary thus im really amazed.

Well, as OP said, patience is the key when investing in bitcoin. People who haven't succeed investing in bitcoin probably haven't been patient enough to hold their coins through the bearish seasons along the years, or maybe exchanged their bitcoins for altcoins due to promises too good to be true which are usually made by altcoins developers and promoters.
I believe even though an investor isn't educated on investments or cryptocurrencies matters, if he just sticks with bitcoin he is going to be rewarded sooner or later, just like OP was.

I guess he lives in a country where salaries are not very high in general. I doubt very much that he would say that if he lived in the richest countries in the world.

For me the story he tells, apart from Bitcoin, which is what we usually focus on in the forum, has a previous part, that of savings and investment, a basic issue in personal finance. Having done that part well, he has then finished it off by investing well. The only thing is that now we are not exactly near ATH, I guess he started investing a long time ago with DCA and although he has sold now or recently it has been profitable for him.

To think that Bitcoin can make a dude buy a house makes me curious to how would it go for those who had invested into Bitcoin back in 2013.

Well being biotechnologist I’m sure this is true. Moreover it depends on the location where you are working. I know one thing for sure, if you are a scientist in India then you will earn tiny portion from the employer. If you are in USA then minimum wage itself is 10-20x higher as compared to the Indian salaries.

Yes, BTC has brought wealth to many people.

They say Banks take your money secretly.
Government takeaway your rights, but then Bitcoin gives you both.

Very inspiring for the people who still doubt bitcoin investment is legit or not. Investing on crypto from salary is quite risky but you have the courage to do that and have a very good result at the end, and i think this is just the beginning, there will be more upcoming investment profits from bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in the future if you're still doing good with your investment.

Actually I also have a main job, in fact I still run it and do all crypto-related activities. Even though at this time my income is greater than my main job, but I do it to maintain a clear social status. Because there are many minds who tend not to know that today's work can be done at home. Many people will think badly if we do not have a main job but have a lot of money.
