If you mean that even if the price goes up a lot, if you don't sell you don't have to pay tax, you are right. You are saying that many people had lost their jobs,but the unemployment rates had actually normalized since the 2020 levels of unemployment.
You say that many businesses went bankrupt,but I don't have actual data about businesses going bankrupt.
The vast majority of the "brick and mortar" businesses survived the pandemic,some of them are thriving.
Some countries are facing bigger economic problems than others.You can't make generalizations about the all the people and all the businesses around the world.
NFT games are close to becoming a ponzi scheme.Good luck with trying to make money this way.

Just be sure to always exercise even twice a week because working from home will make all your muscles sleep and it will be a big problem for your feet if we go back to normal again. I just realized that weeks ago. I didn't know that I spent too much time facing the computer that I forgot to stretch my body or make it sweat even for just a little amount of time. Then, when I went to the supermarket my feet was already hurting from just a couple of hours of walking. That's a bad sign.

Having the opportunity to be part of a more independent currency while the government is taking our freedom away is a good feeling. The only issue I would recommend you to double check is taxes. Even though the government has no real access to our crypto wallets and can't see how much we trade, there are some tax issues. In my country for example you need to pay taxes on the gains you make from crypto trading.

This is so true, in the pandemic, you are really tested how resilient and inventive you are. You really need to do everything to survived and bring food in the table. Like in my case, I've learned to do online selling and so far it had help me a lot during the pandemic. At least I have something to get myself busy at the same time earning some money in the sideline. But it's really a hard work though, there are a lot of challenges, but in the end, as you are going to survived everything.

Before the pandemic, I used to travel a lot around locally and overseas to educate the masses about cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology rather than maximizing my Youtube channel. I was lucky to have a budget back then because of my token holdings that "moons" back then. Since I lost my job, the pandemic has hit me hard. Before the pandemic, I lost my job and it hurt a lot because I have a family to feed, but after a few months I found a new job with better pay rates, but the pandemic came and I lost another job, it has been difficult until I found a new job amidst the pandemic which is virtual Assistant hoping that this will last longer and that this pandemic will end.

Who told you that you no need to pay taxes for the profits you're making from investing cryptocurrencies? You have to pay taxes even if there is no tax regulations in your country because it will fall under capital gains and income tax so you have to report it unless you're holding it forever.

During the pandemic we feel new things from our previous lives and the positive thing is that we spend more time at home with family after work at home is finished, because previously we were only busy with activities outside the home such as work and so on, it makes time with family just a little even sundays also work.

I don't know which NFT game we should start with. Everyone has said that in the next few years online based work will be the most mainstream. Physical work at sea has been controlled by robots and people have lost their productivity as humans who have expertise in their respective fields of work. Honestly, this year allowed me to learn how valuable our homes are. All in all I believe that new generations do not require to go out as much as old generations did. It's hard to rely on NFT p2e as your main source of income. The tokens are fluctuating a lot and you can't be sure with it. But if you're earning good and you're being sustained by it then who am I to stop those that are making good amount of profit there.

I hear conflicting reports about seemingly everything as it relates to jobs, employment, the economy, you name it.  For instance, you mentioned that the pandemic shuttered all these businesses and put people out of work, and yet here in the US it seems like people are doing everything they can not to work.  Businesses are hiring all over the place and jobs are plentiful.  The restaurants and other small businesses that closed temporarily in 2020 have been reopened for many months now, so that isn't a problem anymore.

And yet I'm still finding it hard to buy cat food and other everyday necessities because of some supply chain issue that I haven't been hearing many details about.  Are truckers out of work?  If so, why?  That's a story that never seems to get updated.

I'm tired of COVID, the hysteria surrounding it, people's reaction to it, and the government's mandates because of it.  I've unmasked and refuse to get a booster.  If governments knew what was best for them (which they don't), they would let the virus run its course and stop it with all this madness--and the media, too.  The more fear people have, the easier it is to sell advertising in newspapers and online, and the more power the government can give itself in the name of people's safety.  That's the truth.

For every disadvantage, there's always something to learn that will generate betterment soon or later that's my belief.

It has also made investment and finance more accessible thanks to the innovation of desktop computers and smartphones.

Cryptocurrencies can definitely build upon the foundation laid by silicon valley. It is possible that in the future we will see cryptocurrencies rise to become the amazon, microsoft and googles of the world. Being an early adopter in a successful crypto start up is a great place to be. I’m just explaining that people have many ways to earn, and how strategic and intelligent people are during times of emergency and pandemic. It is also up to the people to decide whether to enter cryptocurrencies. Here in our area, many people are obsessed with crypto-currencies and playing NFT games and I witness that they really make money here, but of course, not everyone likes to play games. Most are really looking for physical work where they can use their talent and education.

This is heartbreaking, 2019 I lost my permanent job even though the main cause was not entirely a pandemic but with this situation it made it difficult for me to find employment. I and most people in this world will feel the pain of covering my family's needs. Until now, the pandemic is still mutating news The impact is not felt only by small people, including big entrepreneurs and other business entities. I started to look at crypto and decided to study in this forum. Apart from learning technical trading, I also studied investment. Airdrops and bounties, although I've never been paid, I'm sure I will get a return on my time investment.

People are forced to do something new to them because of lockdowns, working online is not new to me but there are just online jobs that are new to me as well. The situation that the pandemic put a lot of people was a really difficult one. It was something that was least expected by so many people, because nobody was expecting to wake up one day and they suddenly lose their job because of pandemic, and they have to also stay indoors and not even have the chance to go out and start looking for a different job or something like that. NFT games create huge hype to the crypto space and its not surprising thag many people go on this since many people got lock up on their homes and trying to find something which can kill their time as give good benefits on what they do and since this NFT craze has been shared a lot on any platform then many got hype up. I do think that pandemic is only beneficial for the people who do know how to use this opportunity, the government is dead set on carrying out the rules and implementing them but at the same time I see no improvement in the situation. I also tried doing some online work but at the end it was not really paying much for Ukraine, for countries like US they are outsourcing the workforce, they are paying the native people 1000-2000 and they are trying to find cheaper workers for 200-300 which is honestly ridiculous. The situation I not the same everywhere.

It is true that pandemic open up the idea to many people that earning online is possible and that it could give an income that is much higher the wages that we earn in corporate world. Actually, I've just known last year that having a client, working online is already working out for a how many years. But I would agree with you mate that online jobs are honestly working to those who have the ability to provide or buy a gadget that they can use to apply for a work, it only apply to those who have a knowledge already what this job is required like skill set that you can offer. The current Pandemic just makes our life harder, especially for those who aren't familiar with online earnings. And not many people are familiar with online earnings. Even we are few familiar with cryptocurrency there is no scope for new investment because if we don't have earnings then we can't think about investment. Not a good overall situation. Those who held Bitcoin for longer during the last waves were gainers. But seems current waves aren't much good even for cryptocurrency holders. Not sure when we would overcome the current Pandemic.

The pandemic disrupted our lives and continues to have a lot of negative impact. While Omicron is less deadly than Delta, it's transmissibility and ability to avoid immune system defenses makes it effectively dangerous on a large scale (because a way higher amount of people get infected and thus even a smaller percentage of deaths adds up to a lot). However, one of the big changes that is potentially positive is that it pushed digitalization forward. Lots of people started working remotely, dealing with many tasks online. This gives potential for more usage of cryptos, but this potential is not fully explored yet because Visa and Mastercard seem to be doing alright with the load they're getting.
As for hodling and not paying taxes, that very much depends on a country and a person.

Yeah we know how hard to live while we are in state of pandemic but for financial reasons I think those people who struggle are those people who didn't have savings since most of the people rely that they have money to come and use their money for non sense thing that's why this crisis happening in the world will make people realize that its good to have savings and income generating venues so that they will not get broke once another crisis will hit in the world.

Those who took online opportunities during this situation actually became more successful.

It is what it is, and of course the only way forward now is to focus on the recovery process, most people and privately owned businesses are going through that at the moment, but it's not just them, even our national economy is also working towards recovery, as a result of lockdowns and money printing, the economy suffered a pretty rough time which has caused inflation, and for some hyperinflation, what's meant to be done now is to seek measures to get things stable again, I'm afraid the world can definitely not go back to exactly how it was before, but we can try and restore some sanity.

Bitcoin is obviously a good hedge and alternative to fiat currency, but mind you that it isn't a safe haven, and people who aren't patient may be forced into panic sale, thus even for people who have recently put fractions of their funds in Bitcoin, they must be patient, cause the network is a long term project, thus they should not expect profits immediately, or panic when there is a plunge/correction phase.

Yes, it might not really that sound easy because there are people who do only earn sufficient for their daily living which they couldnt even allocate some extras
for them to save up which is a reality and even myself does have really a hard time on having savings due to those various reasons but if you are really that
eager then you could really push through.

Most of the entire world either do not have enough income to survive, or they do not have enough income to save aside. This is not just "some" people, this is 50%+ , it is majority of the people. I know it is cool to see people like Elon at 300+ billion saying "hey I paid my taxes what else do you want!!" but the reality is that all tesla workers, all amazon workers, everyone is having hard time living.

If those billionaires wanted to see some change then they could pay their workers a decent wage. This is why people didn't have a place to go during pandemic, they were poor and couldn't save before pandemic because they were already having trouble.

The pandemic outbreak for me was a big blessing in disguise. Many people rely on government assistance for a living because they are powerless. Many also racked their brains to come up with various ideas in order to survive just to eat and other basic needs.
Even though this pandemic is almost over, new variants keep popping up.
And this makes everyone feel sick and tired of the various conditions that occur. When they get up, they have to face the problem of new variants which are always reported to be even more violent.

The pandemic was an event that made people to discover good creativity and potentials to solve daily problems.  During the pandemic  was the time I had the opportunity to learn computer programming,  and then I had enough time to practice many tutorials on programming. Things were though then, but people didn't fold their hands waiting for the end of the pandemic,  rather new talents, skill was discovered. In the pandemic what people think about was how to earn money online. Many engaged themselves with cryptocurrency investment at that time.

What you are missing is that not everyone who makes money from crypto is someone who trades, there are people who "works" and earns crypto as well. People who have crypto salaries and those people do not really risk by trading or anything, they are not risking anything, they do regular work, some of them do developer job, some do design, some do something else.

Basically, it is all about you doing whatever you normally would in a regular job and instead of fiat you get crypto. These people still have troubles as well, like for example if the price goes down too much then they would be earning less, or if they signed a contract based on a crypto amount payment and then started working, they can't back out and it would cost them a lot. All in all there would be some sort of problems when you are a crypto worker, and it is different from traders.

We can invest in crypto if we have extra money, if our income is only enough to buy daily needs, investing in crypto is not the best solution
we can do in a pandemic situation. What must be done first is that we must work hard to find additional income that can increase our income.

The difference between you, me and the others here versus the really wealthy people that they let their money work for them instead of working themselves and that is how they become rich. If I invest 100 million dollars into crypto and spread it into 30-40 different big names, but most of it going to bitcoin, and create some type of passive income from them, then I would be gladly living easily. This means we just do not have enough money to do it.

Yes, initially the people with the most money got an advantage since they end up "cornering" it as the price increased making it harder for newcomers to get in. At one point it cost about a whole month's salary just to make a mediocre team. Not sure if they are happy now though with how things turned out. Their paid players are probably thankful they didn't spent anything.

If you look at this, there are even some that are quite worrying, some media in my country are currently busy with the possibility of Omicron and Delta variants being able to mate and mutate into newer variants.
This of course gives more concern because indeed with Omicron only some time ago almost the whole world made a ban again and made Lockdown rules and now we are faced with estimates of a new Variant.

We are indirectly being pressured to think now and hopefully this will end soon because if this is allowed to drag on then I will start to worry about life which will indeed be more difficult, especially in the economy.

Pandemic really pushed many people to learn so many things in the community and some use the opportunity to understand cryptocurrency which added more value to their business.

Many bitcoin users achieve a lot of income from their investment that made them to quit their centralized business base on the low profit they were receiving from their investment.


Those country that adopted bitcoin really enjoyed their economy positively because most of their citizens has full knowledge about cryptocurrency trading.

The covid19 pandemic occurred as an accident, but it also teaches us not to rely on one source of income because many people lost their jobs, and some poor people became poorer, but some millionaires who were in business doubled their assets. What I mean is that we should have another side hustle that is highly reliable, even if the pandemic affects it, it will be easier to recover. That is one of the most serious lessons that a lot of people learned from the pandemic. I can imagine the pain of those who lost their jobs, if they had a second source of income, it wouldn’t be a serious challenge to them as they would continue to earn and support themselves through their second means of income.

But, those that had to rely on just one source of income would be helpless as there would be no source for them to make income at all. And it would be worse if you are someone who has family that you are taking care of, and the whole family are relying on you. I believe that this must have taught a lot of people a lesson, and now they will try to make sure that their life is well balanced in case such a situation should repeat itself, although we are not hoping to see such thing again.

if there is no internet then I can't work from home when the pandemic is at its peak, besides that bitcoin also helps me fulfill my life needs, that's really amazing

we are forced to do great things, fulfilling the needs of family life and ourselves is our obligation as humans even though this pandemic will last forever

especially during the pandemic many people lost their jobs and it was a difficult moment for sure,

The pandemic wasn’t an easy one for a lot of people around the world. It wasn’t easy for me either, because having to stay indoors without working and at the same time you are not making any earnings at all, it was a really difficult situation for everyone. I even know people who lost their jobs, fortunately for me I had my own business, I never had to rely on anyone.

The only way that I was affected was due to the lockdown and me having to stay at home without going to work. But, it was worse for my friends who lost their jobs because after they lockdown they had nothing to do and had to start searching for jobs all over again.

After Corona's disbelief spread in 2020, lockdowns were imposed in all countries. Countless people lost their jobs. Imports-exports, investment, revenue have collapsed. But with the introduction of the vaccine to a larger population in 2021, the situation was starting to normalize in all countries and countries were filling their gaps. However, there is still a trace of self-panic in the minds of the people. A new variant of the Corona is in transition. It remains to be seen whether this will turn social and economic life into a wooden puppet.

 Yes, we have quite a lot number of people (not business owners alone) who seek refuge in Bitcoin but to be honest with you no sensible individual will dare hop into the crypto market with all their capital despite the potential of the market.
Meanwhile, about 50% of the people that switch their professions mostly invest through an institution like MicroStrategy thats why they have 2000 numbers of employees now and this idea also prevent the market from experiencing blood bath.

I've seen numerous establishments especially those small and medium enterprises and businesses closing down because of bankruptcy due to this pandemic and I feel sorry for them. While watching news I was like "Ohhh f*ck this pandemic. It affected so much lives". On the other hand though, we've seen people did their everything just to survive. We've seen how resilient people are in times of pandemic and its good to see that even though we are in the pandemic last year, I still see some people smiling and thanking everyday because they are still surviving in this pandemic.

TBH even though the pandemic didn't started yet, I'm already working from home and for sure many of us are. If you know how to use PC and you know how to utilize the internet then you're still good this pandemic because finding jobs online is easier than it is years ago already. There are many ways to earn online already either crypto related or not. We've seen old employees turned freelancers because of the pandemic. We've seen how people are good in finding ways just to have a source of income. As for me since you said already that "NFT games" already, I'm really happy that I learned certain skills that will help me in playing different games and I'm happier that I can earn extra income from it :).

I have met with a ton of business people who have a lot of money and still wanted to go into crypto as well. Just the other day, a friend of my family contacted me, he was talking about crypto and my family told him that I have been doing it for 8-9 years now, so he contacted me. Apparently dude is already a very wealthy stock market guy, he bought a ton of stocks early on his life and kept on making money that way, and he was rich. He decided to try to do it again in crypto, and contacted me and told me that he wants to invest 1 million dollars into crypto.

As a person who doesn't like to partner with other people, I didn't tell him that I would help him since I know that it would be too much of a headache if he lost money, I may have made a few thousand dollars a month thanks to helping him, but if I failed that would be horrible. But the fact that he wants to get in, shows that people who are rich or poor all getting into crypto.

Agree, pandemic is very challenging to us because lots of jobs, restaurants, companies, businesses closed. This pandemic give us stressed and mental health issues but in the positive way we can find ways just to survive this pandemic like selling online, playing games, or even applying different companies.
Most of the people today ended work at home as possible because they are afraid of having that virus.

Did you notice, that during pandemic, people started to catch other diseases? One of the reasons is that mass media pays to much attention to pandemic. But there is point, that thanks to all safety measures (for example often wash hands or cover face when sneezing or coughing) people catch flu rarely, catch cold and have other infection.

I have noticed, that I used to get sick twice a year every time early weather changes from autumn to winter and from winter to spring. That was not because I dont dress for the weather, but because I have less people with extra low immune system around me, less bacteria's around and on me.

All this might be far-fetched, but since pandemic started in 2019, the only time I felt sick or had high temperature, were first days after vaccine shots. Never even had a running nose since that.
