Title: Mining Alephium
Post by: FP91G on January 19, 2022, 04:05:46 PM
Good profit for Nvidia 2000 and 3000 series, AMD does not mine this coin well.

I'm interested but even the 3070ti is now bringing 3$ per day meaning that the difficulty is already growing fast, I'm more interested in the solo mining any link to solo mining information? Thanks for sharing 👍

bzminer mines this coin on AMD rigs very well.

Is this coin more profitable than ETH presently? I have a 3060ti and a 3070ti that I can use to mine this coin but I want to know how profitable it is compare to Ethereum mining any link to proper calculator?

Seems like a promising coin to mine, can i get decent results even with older nvidia cards such as the 1030?

I do not see great prospects for this coin, but as long as it is more profitable in mining, then you can use this opportunity.

Don't break a budget video card, 1030 is useless for mining.

Yes you can mine the coin direct to exchange, woolypooly stated this on their pool but Im not sure about the solo mining I think it's a must to sync the whole blockchain first before one can be able to solo mine

You can mine to the exchange wallet, but keep in mind that the exchange may suspend deposits. Be sure to set up the withdrawal of coins from the pool using manual control and do not forget to check if the deposit works on the exchange before sending coins.

How good is this project for long term? I'm gathering a list of mineable coins for long term hold and since this alephium is new I'm not too sure about its survival for few more years what do you think @FP91G?

Like all miners, I made many mistakes and mine coins of new projects in order to sell in the future with a profit. Such experiments usually ended in losses. Now I would sell Alephium, but I don't sell Ethereum now.If you are a beginner miner, then you first need to recoup for the mining equipment, and then you can choose any mining strategy.

Beware of new coins they are the real enemy of HODL in the end you will waste your time and energy, since 2018 many coins that are mineable are completely dead in just a matter of three years , the few ones that survives have no good value till date

For now this coin is profitable to mine but on the long run in not certain about its survival, good for mining? Yes, good for long term HODL ? Uncertain, I've mined some coins in the past they all turn to dust, for example BBScoin and worktips

I agree that her future is unknown, I ask if anyone who has the compac f tried to mine her because if it works and makes the same 200gh it would be fantastic

SRBMiner now supports 'blake3_alephium' algorithm for CPU/GPU mining!

You can dual mine with any other algorithm.
Good combinations would be ETH+ALPH or ETC+ALPH

Hi Doc. I tried ETC+ALPH with my old RX470 4G cards on SRBMiner, having hard time to find intensity. ETC hashrate dropping dramaticaly to 1mhs but blake3 speed is good, is there anyone find good number for intensity? Thanks
Edit: ok guys today spent some time and found best intensity for RX470 4G on ETC is 26;17 giving 26mhs on ETC and 135mhs on ALPH. happy mining

I am dual mining ETC+ZIL and now that prices of cryptos have started to recover I am loving it,180 Mhsh makes near 0.17 ETC daily together with 5-8 ZIL per day.The DAG size of ETC is much lower than 4 GB so every good 4 GB card can mine it,Gtx 1050 ti ,Rx 570/580/470/480 4 GB are the cards most used to mine ETC and the profitability although not the same as if you mine ETH with bigger VRAM cards still it is good for me at 150 USD a month with just 40-50 USD power cost in a country with 0.11 USD per kwatt.

Model AL-BOX from Goldshell mining Blake3 algorithm with a maximum hashrate of 360Gh/s for a power consumption of 180W.

This small ASIC gives the same result as 60 PTX 4090 video cards using the Alephium coin mining algorithm.

Just checked and it's already Listed and trading around $2.8 rn. Do you think ALPH will do double numbers like INJ?  Cos I'm thinking 🤔 of stacking up via the candybomb initiative you mentioned.
