How do I access the old BTCcore wallet.dat? I was operating a previous node then I ran out of space on that disk so I can't run that node to access that wallet. Can I simply create a new wallet in the new node and transfer the wallet.dat into the new wallet folder? Another word, can I just replace the new wallet.dat with the old wallet.dat? The new node is fully synced. But: exit Bitcoin Core before doing this. Once the new node was synced, I created a new wallet and then it was a simple drag and drop the old wallet.dat to replace the new one. I was able to send btc with the encrypted keys.
