Title: Survey about digital currencies
Post by: jamieloud on March 27, 2014, 10:55:04 AM
I'm doing a study about Bitcoin, digital currencies and taxation, and I made a little survey about it. The survey is about people's usage of digital currencies and people's knowledge of the taxation on digital currencies. It shouldn't take more than 5 minutes to complete it, depending on your answers. I would be very pleased, if you would have the time to answer my survey.

Thank you!

Just did your survey. Interesting questions, can you publish the results somewhere?

Thank you for your answers!

I wasn't going to publish the results online, but if people are interested, I can publish them here.

I'm going to keep the survey open till next Wednesday, and I'll try to go through the answers as quickly I can.

We have to tax, if not, the authorities will ignore scams like mtgox or xtrememiners.

The form "Digital currency survey" is no longer accepting responses. Try contacting the owner of the form if you think this is a mistake.

I've been so busy, that I almost forgot to publish the results here. But here's a dropbox link to the results:

Interesting survey, but why are the majority from Finland? There were more survey participants from Finland than from the USA & UK combined. That seems pretty odd to me.

May be a lot of them used TOR or other proxy browsers, with exit nodes located in Finland. Or might be because the OP advertised this mostly in Finnish language forums.

I also posted this survey in the Finnish Bitcoin forum. That's why there's so many participants from Finland.
