What when people question you, its time to start a new thread?

To understand Riverboatbtc's anger you must understand the situation. Riverboat begged people on here for funds for his dream of owning an online casino. He was politely told to piss off and find his own money. Since that time he becomes angry and outraged whenever he sees people freely and carelessly spending their money anywhere other than his site. He sees potential money going to him rather than a ponzi. Even when a ponzi straight up tells you that its risky money and you could lose, it's not good enough for RiverboatBTC. He will flood your forum with unfounded claims of scam, hoping to try to ruin you. He will then try to have your site shut down. This boy living in mama's basement does not appreciate free economy and wishes only that his failing casino might see success.

I suggest:
1) post self moderated threads from here on. click the (+) additional options when you post, and select self-moderated. Then delete as necessary.
2) Add rivrboatbtc to your ignore list, to avoid seeing his own threads he will surely post when he is silenced on your own threads

Ponzi sites can be fun if you allow it to be fun. Moderate your threads, do not reply to his troll attempts in other threads. Find a website host that is friendly to such sites or use an offshore provider in Cayman Islands. Prices are cheap. :)

This post did make me chuckle :D Thanks for the vote of confidence though - hopefully we can keep the game going for some time to come!

To answer your couple of suggestions;

1) I did consider a self-moderated thread but thought this in itself would be open to abuse (from my side). In a industry which is already fragile I felt it was right to allow users to post their criticism freely, and allow other users to decide whether that criticism is warranted or not. I didnt want to be accused of censorship etc. :)
2) Already done. So I have no idea what he (or his shills :D) are saying, but they are doing a great job of bumping my thread. I should be grateful really :D

4 deposits remaining at 150% grab them while you can! After the first 10 deposits in each round are made the return drops to 120%

Advertising will come - when funds allow it. I plan to reinvest the majority of the fees I make out of this in making the site more successful in the long run; further development, advertising, affiliate program etc.

As always though, I am open to any suggestions regarding this.

The community needs a couple of long running Ponzi sites, not just for competition but to help ease the stigma currently associated with these games.

And another thing don't payout if there are unconfirmed transactions. This is a big NO NO.

Please adapt your script. I'v already been bitten by unconfirmed transactions that where reverted.

The script only works on confirmed transactions - I may have missed something, but I dont see a payout which is using an unconfirmed payout anywhere?

At the moment the last deposit was made it was not confirmed yet and the payout transaction was already posted.

You use blockchain wallet correct?

There is a problem with the balance of blockchain wallets. The balance contains unconfirmed transactions.

And you can post transactions that use that amount to create another transaction. But if the incoming transaction is a low amount and has no transaction fee attached it will probably be reverted. so all transactions after that get reverted too.

So please be carefull.

That's because as soon as the last deposit was made it triggered the script to lower the payout from 150% to 120% (as it incorrectly thought it was time to lower the payouts) with the lower payout there were enough (confirmed) coins in the wallet to pay out.


Noooo! My script runs from a local bitcoind instance on my VPS. I will avoid using BlockChain.info's API as much as possible :D

Part of my reasoning behind this you have already described. It is far too flaky, IMO.

There is no default time or coin value assigned to a round, however when a round ends (e.g. deposits have dried up etc) if it has exceed 10BTC, "Bonus Payments" will have been unlocked and the final two unpaid deposits of that round will receive a 200% return.

Bonus payments are exactly that, bonuses. They are a target to work towards and are unlocked based on "$maxDeposit x 100"

Most of these sites will not work with coinbase wallet.  It is a shared wallet and they are not able to send the money back properly.  I am sure the admin will fix your issue.  If you want to use any of these ponzi or gambling sites you need to make yourself a wallet on blockchain.info.  Its easy to use and it will work properly on these sites.  You can send from your coinbase account to your blockchain wallet to use.

I think 150% is too much for the first 10 deposits. Maybe reduce the percentage or reduce the number of deposits. It's killing the round at the minute!

I agree, I wanted to keep the minimum deposit low initially, so sceptical users could get involved without gambling massive amounts.

Perhaps a change of limits to Min: 0.01 Max 0.1? (I like to keep quite a small difference to try keep payouts regular - e.g. no slowdowns due to 10x 0.01BTC deposits and 1x 1BTC deposit)

And if anyone would be interested in coming on-board to help with market the site - spreading the word, attracting more players etc. I'm keen to hear your suggestions! I did think if bidding for an ad here, but after the last round of advertising was averaging around 5BTC each, I think that sort of coinage could be put to better use!

I'm sorry, what do you mean? To be clear, payouts are by no means guaranteed, they rely on players depositing after you to generate the funds to allow for your repayment.

Also, round #2 hasnt stopped, that was just a glitch. Round #2 is still alive :)

To get paid in round 2 you need more people to invest above you.  That is how it works.  If you are in line waiting to get paid you need to advertise the site and help get people to invest. That way you get your investment paid.

You can add all the deposits made (first column) and add all the payout made (second column) and see that there is not 0.075+fees for the next payout
Or just check the blockchain.info wallet balance

@knightdk I have made a few changes for the next round -

1) Reduced the number of first deposits which receive the initial bonus payments - this should help ensure coins are kept moving quickly
2) Increased the max deposit limit to 1BTC
3) Increased the end-of-round bonus payments to the last 5 deposits!

I will also relax the restart times as of round #3 hopefully keeping this one more active.

I'm hoping to be able to leave round #3 running for much longer and eventually reach the bonus payment target. It needs guys like you to spread the word though, you guys, the players, are the best marketing tool!

This never payed me out - additionally, it showed a different address on the site. When you click on it, it shows my address sent coins, but it payed back to the false address shown on the website. It seems to have sent back to all the other ones though, so I don't know...
