What happens if he forgets to take his Alzheimer's pills? Hope you have a contingency plan.

Joe Biden's Alzheimers-addled mind cannot allow him to understand how the Bitcoin cryptocurrency works,  and so he seeks to regulate it.  We see an upcoming executive order is planned to this effect.
We can only hope that he remembers to take his Alzheimers pills,  and unruffles his panties.

I just can't wait until the press conference...  Maybe a drinking game where you take a sip every time he uses the word, "complicated" in his speech.  I feel like every time he discusses anything, that's his go-to saying.  Everyone else just doesn't understand because things are so complicated only the great intellect of Joe Biden could possibly grasp it.  If there's one thing that inspires confidence on the world stage, it's considering everything extremely complicated.

I learned at an early age that if people think things are complicated, it's because they lack understanding.  If someone understands something completely, they can describe it to you in very simple terms.  Beware the person who hesitates to explain something because it's complicated.  That only means they don't understand it.

As for Biden's view on Bitcoin, I'm pretty sure he'll say, "it's complicated."

Biden might take a note from Psaki and basically delegate the knowledge of BTC legislation and regulation action in telling the press to ask Gessler (SEC) and Yellen (FED) about this latest development if his brain can conjure up the right words. He might use the example of his father as a used car salesman as a concept for Altcoins :D. Biden is such a joke I'm surprised he has lasted as long as he has. I still think he might hand the reigns over to Harris as some sort of "oh you're the first race/religion person to hold this position" ideology that the Democrats have. Hell they've even postured that they would want to elect to the Supreme Court the first black women when all that should matter in this world is how knowledgeable you are on a subject and what experiences you've had rather than race or color being the main dictates as that puts us into steps backwards.

More like his handlers want to regulate bitcoin. Let's face it, this guy is just sleeping there and and occasionally sharting his pants (to Camilla's horror), he's not really doing any ruling.

As for whatever is in that coming press release, well we just got to prepare I guess and then just continue as normal. China FUDs has had more effects on the price than the announcements from the US.

That's how it is now, politics is basically identity politics. And Harris have the charisma of half a Hillary, so nope.

I'm not one to defend Joe Biden.  I personally don't think he could maintain a job as a Walmart greeter.  This isn't a reason to be angry with him though.  Especially if the rumors regarding regulation turn out to be true.  My understanding is that he's going to clarify that coins earned from mining or staking aren't taxed until exchanged for dollars, which would be a huge relief to Bitcoin mining organizations, as many have either been operating under the assumption that you need to pay taxes on these coins, or have been hoping that isn't the case and awaiting clarification.  I don't think anyone out there mining or staking coins will be upset at Joe for this regulation of crypto.  It would actually be a massive positive development that could power the next price increase to new highs.

As if J. Biden has anything to say about it...
or even understands crypto.

The Biden Administration does have a lot to say about the regulation of pretty much everything.  I found it very interesting that Federal Reserve chairman were quitting their jobs because of how the Biden Administration wasn't listening to their feedback about inflation and not printing massive amounts of money during this covid response.  It was clear to everyone that inflation was not only coming, but that the Biden Administration was fanning the flames instead of trying to keep runaway prices from crushing the lower and middle class.  So much so that fed chairman were leaving their jobs because they felt their role wasn't being respected and they were being made out to be scapegoats.

I would suggest the possibility that Mr. Biden has as much understanding of cryptocurrency as a 3-year-old has of astrophysics.

My bet is that anyone occupying the office in the White House receives his/her directives from the Federal Reserve.. in the form of 'strong suggestions'.

Biden has as much influence over "his" presidency as I do. The Democrats are just hungrily eyeing a new source of revenue when they talk about taxing crypto.

Have you seen where Putin tied the Ruble to gold... gold backed? When he did this, it immediately dropped the value of the dollar worldwide by about 30%. Google it.

Now, anybody can trade gold with Bitcoin with the Ruble with Oil, and the Ruble will hold its value while the dollar will lose some value.

If Biden can think at all, this will bunch his panties enough to choke him. Big business will take a while to figure out all the angles. Biden never will.
