Over the years in cryptocurrency, through ups and downs, gains and losses, mistakes and learning, I finally feel a sense of satisfaction. Good news for me when the market is bad. ‌‌ I too have heard stories of growing up overnight and felt the need to get involved. Dog coins and 100,000 $ ++++++ ... I heard the strange joy of owning something. Anything but all this was just a lack of knowledge and clarity. It was as easy as gambling. Like growing up overnight?
I heard a lot about Kipto last year. After hearing that, I sold my tokens. Towards the end of 2021, I had some successes and some failures, yet there is no direction and zero certainty. I was disappointed. Turns out, I have to start from scratch, educate myself, read books, listen to experts and I did. I didn’t skip investing.
I ate a lot of los at one time. But did not give up the investment. Forget trading, forget short-term gains and losses. I traded a lot and got caught, but for the sake of my future, I wanted to accumulate a small amount of this finite resource. I felt the urgent need to acquire a full bitcoin and I halved it. For the first time in my crypto journey, I felt a sense of certainty that I was lacking. So far I have been able to achieve half of it. This achievement of mine is a lot to me. Have I expanded my investment to achieve this? Yes. Would I personally be okay if it went to 0? Yes. This is a risk I am willing to take, and the more I learn, the more confident and more I make my investment.

Now that I have half a bitcoin, I need to cherish it. My next step is to make a bitcoin with it.

Just do that again and you'll have a whole bitcoin.  Well, not all that stuff of all your ups and downs, that would be too much to go through again, but rather just the part that got you the half of a bitcoin.

For soon, after accumulating a whole bitcoin, you'll notice that you are much further ahead than a whole lot of others.

You can use your experiences on your next investment since you can make those failures as your basis on what to do next or you can minimize the risk upon buying something to hold for long term. Making your half bitcoin into whole is mot impossible to happen its just you need to do proper research and do wise decision to avoid getting scam and have higher chances to bag some profit until you reach your target amount.

away from trading. Next lesson is not to take risks with that 0.5BTC or at the
very most set aside a small percentage for trading if you really feel the urge
or a spot of gambling for fun or buying goods but be disciplined while all
the time try to accumulate.

Yeah, it's easy to say to hodl, to hodl, again and again, but how long? and how much should be sold when you think its the ATH, again.
Many people here hodl until they stucked when price is going down expecting the price will pump again, until they will be forced to hodl, again.

It's like a cycle, but good thing there are people who manage to surpass such kind of way. I congratulate OP for this, keep it going until you are satisfied to your profit.

OP your journey is not yet over and I encourage you to see the half as a stepping stone to acquiring 1BTC. One important move to consider towards making a full bitcoin is repeating the process that got you Half a bitcoin. Most quick processes which may interest you may not be genuine and could cause a drop on the half which you just secured, thumbs up!

It's interesting to see that you are ready to face whatever bearish move that occurs in the market. If you continue with such idea then you are just few steps away from hitting 1 BTC! because they won't be any panic selling, something that terminates many newbies from joining the long term train. You know that you're doing correctly if it's giving you the feeling of enjoyment and excitement. There's no need to rush and you already have the goal of owning a whole bitcoin.

You already did what must be done and you've owned half of it. What you must do is to get yourself focus with it because it could be lovely as it is today but tomorrow or the next day, you'll feel different. When it comes, just remember your goal.

On what year you get this price info? The current price is around 38K USD using price aggregator coinmarketcap and coingecko.  :D

Owning a half Bitcoin right now is not easy to everyone especially those who works in minimum wage salary in 3rd world country. 0.05BTC is a good target for starter since Bitcoin price increase the near we are close on depleting the maximum supply. Having a target amount for holding is good you should not stress out on acquiring huge amount coin if its not suitable for your income.

Your efforts have been rewarded. I know you went through a lot of trials and tribulations before you were able to obtain that half bitcoin, which is really your price; now all you have to do is follow the same procedure you used to obtain the half bitcoin in order to obtain a whole bitcoin. Congratulations on your most significant accomplishment, and best of luck in obtaining another half bitcoin in the hopes that it will be successful. Don't forget to keep it in a safe place.

But would you feel the same way if everything that you've achieved so far, suddenly goes down the drain? If the answer to that is "NO", then you should refrain from making announcements ^{[not just in a public forum]} in regards to how much BTCitcoin you currently have in your possession ^{[you're just going to make yourself a target]}!

If I were you, my next step would've been to make sure I'm keeping it in a safe place instead.

There's a possibility that OP can do more that's going to cut short the time that it takes to make sure that he will be able to get the other half of bitcoin. Getting half a bitcoin isn't an easy feat because of the current premium price of bitcoin but I am pretty sure that if you are at that point, you might be able use that half a bitcoin to be able to get that 1 bitcoin, make your money work for you.

And with the current sentiments right now, maybe it would be "easy" to have a .5 BTC if you continue to stack up sats because the price is so cheap right now. Yeah, it might take weeks or even years for some of us to save even .25 - .5 BTC but it is going to be worth something in the future if we are going to stick with our goals. Just smaller steps in the beginning and then grow big.

At least, you have your lesson from crypto, but you did not give up instead of still trying to achieve your goals. I see you already have half of bitcoin, and you are good. You can have more bitcoin if you do not stop trying and practicing from the lessons.

We have our lesson by losing money in crypto, but that depends on how we can cheer ourselves and still try to recover step by step. You do not have to think about how long you can achieve all you want but enjoy the process, and you will be there with a big smile.

Look like you had a bad experience with the altcoins and trading but the good thing is that finally, you are able to save half a bitcoin. This half a bitcoin can be life changing for you in the next 3-5 years. It's better if you do not try to trade with this 0.5 btc as you might lose them in future trading.
Keep this half bitcoin safe with you in a wallet and try to earn bitcoins by providing different services or by converting your fiat savings into bitcoins.

I guess he's not touching any of those half Btc he have and will just continue accumulating whenever he can. Base on his experience he have enough of trading and losses, so he rather have to depend on finite asset which could give him good profit in the future by doing absolutely nothing but to hold.
Though we never really know If his Btc trading or not, but I guess the right thing to do is just to hold it, or atleast go for a whole Btc.

How long? Seriously, nobody can't answer that because we aren't the one who planned it all along in the first place. You, as the holder and the investor should be the one to know exactly how long would you hold you assets or how much will you sold. But since you ask about that, I also wonder if you really have a concrete plan for that because it seems that you're just investing without any plans at all.

Wow, that's really a great achievement. Most of us have the same dream of acquiring 1 whole bitcoin for some reason.
Even I have the same dream but at the same time I feel honored to hold at least a portion of it currently while still trying to accumulate 1 bitcoin.
I will highly recommend you to stay away from unknown messages and keep your coins safe since there will be people trying to scam you.
Those coins are precious and you should take all the steps necessary to keep it private and secure.

Well, the 0.5BTC archivement is some milestone. Not so many on the forum can be said to have got that and there are a few others that have got 1BTC and even more.

That aside, is it really a good idea to publicly proclaim your portfolio on the forum,  I get it that, when it comes to bitcoin hodlings on some address belong to certain users on the forum, you just can't make it private enough. Users with the need  to  know can search on the addresses used in signature campaigns but then, you still can split and send to multiple addresses on varying wallet not to let the full picture out.

Haven't said all that, the anonymity the forum provides is a needed security and I'll suggest you watch out for scammers through unsolicited pm, seeking investment funds with pro.ises of good returns. You need to add more shouldn't make you go greedy and lose all. Buy and hodl as much as you can. It keeps going...

0.5 btc is quite a lot, you are very persistent in the risks involved, that they won't go into panic selling, something that stops a lot of newbies from joining the long term train. Think carefully about what to do and what may not be essential to your trip and don't forget to follow your instincts.

Newbie traders should join the long term trading instead of short term trading. Because both train had different destination.The long term trading destination will be sure of profit. But short term train will get to short profit or No profit as a destination.When the investment made a good analysis, the profit will reach your destination. Traders will not inverse without any knowledge will lose their investment.

On the other hand I would also advice you not to openly talk about your wealth on public spaces as well, at least not very often.
I am afraid there will always be a hacker/scammer around, willing to at least try to steal your hard-earned satoshis.

Its not easy to accumulate Bitcoin especially it has an expensive price but you made it having .5BTC, so congrats.

Continue the process on how you did it because its an effective strategy for you thats why you succeed. Now, you need to secure your Bitcoin by using a wallet where you hold your keys.

Just like your Username? i may say GOODLUCK mate for your road to 1 bitcoin holding , I may say you admired me for having this journey and making it to half a bitcoin is really a hard task that being achieved .

I have already owned my more than 1 bitcoin now but i am not stopping accumulating more and more as long as i can till the time bitcoin already reached a million dollar value .

I congratulate you on having half bitcoin because at this moment, having half bitcoin is not easy, especially for people who are new in the crypto world and will need many things to have those amounts.
So I hope you can take care of your bitcoin and always be careful if you want to use that bitcoin while you are still trying to get more bitcoin.
If you want to grow the amount, you need to learn for details before deciding and minimizing every risk that can happen later.

not all of us has that chance to earn and accumulate Half a bitcoin , I myself have not even earn big chunks of bitcoin till now, but i have my reason as I have been engaging in gambling and this made me a loser literally .

Nowadays that i start again to gain and maintain my bitcoin and i know like you in the next year i will also earn my own coins in whole , so lets see what will comes in our way in the next years.

Nice to hear that good story from you because their are some newbies who still not know when to buy bitcoin and hold till the price improve higher before they can release them for sale. Profit earning is a gradual process before you can get to where you will be receiving massive profit from your investment if you keep bitcoin rules in your heart..
There are still many opportunities for you to earn more from bitcoin because the price is still $35k which you still need to buy more of bitcoin in this month of February, so that you can be part of those investors that will achieve passive income soon.

Wish all  traders have half of bitcoin, its a nice amount not only trading but for self motivation. especially now, when crypto market is a little bit volatile we as a crypto enthusiastic people  have a great opportunity to gain more and more. These kind of stories is something thats inspirational which is similar to this and to those who are patient and does think about potential of bitcoin and did really believe   
and able to accumulate and it did really result into this which it did really pays off because looking on bitcoins price then it did really make out some significant
price increase which it did really make out those people who saved out do make out some profits which had been holding for so long.
As long they would be having that goal in mind then you should really be serious on doing that.                                                                                                                                           

So all you are saying that you stopped trading because trading wasn't for you. You couldn't make short term gains, so you ended up holding bitcoin to make long term gains. You could have explained it in more easier way instead of making your whole post confusing. Yes, holding for long term is less riskier and gives you almost guaranteed profit in the long run. Keep accumulating by investing as much as you can (money that you can afford to lose) and eventually you will have one whole bitcoin. Keep holding and you won't regret after few years.

Every step taken in the crypto market is knowledge gained. Now that you already have experience in buying half a bitcoin, you will easily be able to buy the other half the next time you have made your decision.

You invest on this asset but things did not go well for you and you will then realize that you got scammed. There is no knowledge on there yet but what happens is just a realization. It only becomes a knowledge until you make a research on how did that scamming happen.

Knowledge and as well as experience is a recipe that we need in order for us to become better and stronger here in cryptocurrency. it's not easy to get the next half bitcoin if you don't have much money. if you rely on market analysis in short-term investing it's like playing dice, nothing is certain. It is very difficult to guess the price of bitcoin, because if it was easy to guess the price of bitcoin, everyone would be rich.

Earning a half BTC isn't easy, you went through a lot of difficulties and you did great. By investing time and effort,  you are making sufficient development due to the fact you're ever getting to know that is simply the principle of mystery to getting greater towards your intention from getting half to the whole bitcoin. Keep working and keep holding your BTC.

The experiences that have occurred can be used as learning in the future so that they can be even better. Do the best you can in managing your Bitcoins for getting the profit. I appreciate your innovation. It's not impossible to do anything if you want it from your heart and struggle for that. That's how you achieved that and eventually acquire half Bitcoin. This isn't a small amount. And yes, it's possible to make full BTC for you since you are struggling. For example, if you trade when BTC hits ATH again and wait for another bear market then easily it would be a full Bitcoin. Of course, you must have enough patience for that and must use your brain to take a real-time decision. Sometimes we can't take real-time decisions, during this bear market many people think the market will dump more and they sell the holding. But the market start to recover and many people already lost. That's the point of real-time decision and it should be perfect.

I think everything you say is true, but you also have to take into account the level of conviction of the person who owns BTC so that they use it wisely, not everyone knows that you can diversify 'in order to obtain benefits when the market possibly enter a possible fall, like what is happening now, in fact one of the books that are very interesting in the stock market called "A Random Walk on Wall Street" explains that the best way to always have money is to diversify and here in crypto it is the best option, it does not matter that it is not in BTC, there are other investments such as Real Estate, Gold, among others.
