Title: What are your plans for the 2022 crypto market?
Post by: GoodLuckHK on February 02, 2022, 03:15:04 AM
With 2021 ending with a 150% increase in total crypto market capitalization, it can be said that we have seen tremendous growth. Congratulations to those investors who benefited from the crypto market in 2021.

What are your plans for 2022 to continue earning more for yourself? What do you think about the crypto market in 2022? Are we surpassing the uptrend and will the market soon enter the crypto winter? What will you do.

My talk & main points:
+ The crypto market continues to grow and peaks in 2022 with a total capital of 5.5T;
+ Then we will see the fall of the whole market and winter will come;
+ BTC price may then go back to MA 200W at 25-30K, but I think it will only come in 2023 and not in 2022

- Continue to dollar-cost average so I win in the end regardless if we reach new all-time highs in 2022 or not
- Bring more attention to tokenomics when making altcoin picks
- Less impulsiveness when making trades

Just boring plans: keep doing DCA. Buy, buy, buy (small amounts) rise, rinse, repeat. It only gets exciting if the price goes up a lot, in which case I will spend small amounts. Not planning anything big until I accumulate a considerable amount, which will be quite a few years from now I think, because I would like to think otherwise, but I think that the spectacular returns that Bitcoin had in the past years are going to be reduced going forward, although it will still be very profitable to buy Bitcoin.

In my opinion, long-term investment is considered more profitable, it has proved to be favorable for me. In 2022 I am going to repeat the same sequence.

I do not think much about the general cryptocurrency market, as it is an unpredictable space and can spring up a surprise like NFTs at anytime. If you zoom into bitcoin, then it should be more of the same, which is the exact reason it is preferred by most to other cryptocurrencies, it is reliable and the protocol does not undergo sudden changes.

What are your plans for 2022 to continue earning more for yourself?
Buy more bitcoin and hodl.

Dollar cost average is not boring. It's like you are investing in bitcoin and crypto which will give you many  returns in the future.
I will be holding my crypto and only sell if it reacheds another all time high. If the prices , dump more I will wait and never sell in panic or in loss.

My plans going into 2021 were to do some portfolio balancing.  Bitcoin had become an uncomfortably large position in my personal assets, so diversifying into stocks, real estate, and other cryptos was high on my to-do list.  I failed to meet my goals however, falling short of the sort of diversification I was going for as Bitcoin never had the blow off top that I was anticipating (at least not yet).  So my 2022 plans remain the same.  Continue diversifying away from Bitcoin and into more stable asset classes as well as income producing assets.  This isn't because I'm bearish on Bitcoin's fundamentals, it's just for my own personal mental health and knowing that I will not be dependent on Bitcoin rising forever in order for me to feel comfortable about my financial future.

Bitcoin is great, but knowing you'll be ok if it falls to 0 is great too.  :)

Pretty much the same strategy that I had from the first day I entered bitcoin world back in 2014:
1. Buy bitcoin with any extra fiat I have and I don't need (aka can afford to lose)
2. Do whatever I can to earn bitcoin since it is a currency after all and the best way of acquiring it is always earning.
3. Stay away from altcoins specially the passing vaporwares such as tokens.
4. Trade (short term) shitcoins in small sizes whenever I feel like I can catch a pump and gain a quick profit from it.

Basically, those points you mentioned are what I was doing in the previous years and will still be doing this year and may be next years to come. As we can see, the price of bitcoin is increasing throughout these years. So if you have extra funds that let's say you can forget that you have, you can buy some btc for your portfolio. Also, with the previous hype before regarding ETH tokens, I learned my lesson that there are so many substandard projects that need to be discard if you have one, and don't wait too long before it finally collapses.

we know the market is not going to keep pumping and breaking new ATH. as happened earlier this year, after many people were full of profits. the market is in a downtrend. but there is a gradual decline. that's also we can see some improvement before dump again.
this year, after a fairly long uptrend, I think a lot of people will be playing their money for the short term. it can be day trading or short investment. because some must be aware of how this market trend will move. but they will not leave the moment to profit from the correction.

- Continue to stack bitcoin (DCA) thru weekly payment that I received on my signature campaign or from any other crypto related art contests.
- Expand my NFT holdings, particularly in Axie Infinity, despite their management's sluggishness in rebalancing their economy. Worst of all, I'm not sure whether I'll ever be able to regain my capital back into my asset portfolio.
- Learn the RS/RW vs Bitcoin trading strategy in the hopes of putting it to the test in the real market.
- Lastly, but not the most priority though, explore NFT flipping..

What are your plans for 2022 to continue earning more for yourself? What do you think about the crypto market in 2022?
Question what should be done and duty done, for me personally.

You must know the crypto market when entering 2022, for me it is very chaotic, especially the movement of Bitcoin, indeed all of that has become flesh and blood and a real experience for crypto users, if they realize it.

For me personally, maybe I will do something useful for me personally especially about crypto/Bitcoin, I don't want to repeat the mistakes in 2019 & 2021, it's the worst thing I've ever experienced, what can I say fate has not been on my side and it's time for me to atone for all my mistakes in the past.

This may sound negative, but I prefer to work harder, as opposed to hoping that the whole crypto markets' value would go to the moon.
- As things turned out, "history doesn't always repeat itself (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5346118.msg57328194#msg57328194)" so I prefer to "properly [FYI: I'm not referring to other shitcoins]" diversify my portfolio [a bit similar to @OgNasty (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5383978.msg59135600#msg59135600)'s comment].

I think if market is going to crash to 25-30k, now is the time. If it start to progress up that buttom will further increase up maybe to 40-50k because after in 2017 that will experience bear around $4,000 till this time we not see that price again and that time gone for the good. This time also when it didn't touch 25,000 it will go for history.

Maybe continue what Im doing since then. Find a good projects on early run and invest on it and when it booms profit it is.

Reduce some shitcoin apeing might be a good way also prevent some losses. Look for some passive income thru stable farming and some platform that offered good APY.

Also doing DCA of bitcoin through my signature campaign. Its been few months since I didnt get any funds from it. Maybe continue until I earned 1 bitcoin from it.

I have been cashing out profits for a long time, now it seems like good entry point to get into some projects with good fundamentals that dropped in value. I am currently studying some coins and trying to use new blockchains, also some eth dex staking pojects interest me now when gas costs are low.

First, always do DCA and buy on dip, always buy coins that have clear fundamentals and good prospects in the future so the investment will feel safe
Second, staking the altcoins I have to get daily profit for the long term like ADA and BSW coins
Third, forget about the loss we experienced in the previous month and think about long-term investment and HODL !!

HODL.

for now I am still consistent to hold assets in the form of coins which since October last year I bought, my plan is very simple I will sell all my crypto assets when the coin price will increase again, of course I will sell at a minimum price of 50% of capital early when buying coins, but if market conditions have a chance to go higher then I will still hold my crypto assets.

yep crypto market really growing drastically last year and for sure there's a lot of investors that are satisfied on their investment.
For me this year although the market isn't fine i think we should focus more which way we can really make profits in my personal opinion , what i mean where we can make quick profits despite of the situation.. And for me my plan is to ride small bounce since i was quite good in it and even small percentage of profits it doesn't matter to me at least i have income on this situation..

What are your plans for 2022 to continue earning more for yourself?
To save more bitcoins and reach the goal of everyone of having more than 1 btc. I'm into the part of collecting 1 bitcoin for my retirement and the rest will depend on the altcoins that I hold. I'll sell those altcoins that I hold for bitcoin if I'm in profit.
That's what I've been doing in the past years and just keeping them as much as I can. But if there's a need for me to sell, I'll sell a very tiny part of it that I'll gladly do without any regret.

HODL.

The trick or the challenge rather here then is to identify which exactly is valuable. I learnt my lesson from ICO days that research is pointless if you only use the company's marketing or even whitepaper or even product proposition.

You need to see users, not token buyers. And the truth is based on this measure there are hardly any valuable assets.

It would be great if you wanted to implement that sort of thing at this point by making some very mature purchases on coins that have good volume in the market, because you will get a win if you are patient while holding them.

Only accumulating more and more good tokens to be staked, used to participate in IEO and hodl it for long term investment. I may try to do regular trade to earn more.

You can see what bitcoin does. It's going up more than 10% in a day. that's a sign for the bitcoin to recovery very soon. Expecting bitcoin to go to the 25k - 30k range was another non sense thing these days. Crypto winter already ended.

You never know what will happen in the next few months to a years time, we might see a major correction, we already went down 50% from its all time high valuation and we are yet to touch the bottom and that is what i feel considering i have seen multiple market rallies and how a bear market will look like. Will see how that will be a thing of the past, only time will tell. ;)

I do have plans to invest more on good projects and stay away from meme tokens, I can't afford to the same mistakes last year and this is why I have to accumulate more now before the market goes back to up trend.

We should always have a plan and visit it every month so we can easily track if we are heading on the right way or we are doing things on a bad way. 2022 will be a great year let's claim it and hoping for everyone to achieve their goal for this year, always be on track.

- We will be slowly growing for the last wave in this bitcoin halving pump cycle. I will be expecting another pump will come after next halving.
- If you can see bullish and why do we need to expect winter market to come soon. Im very bullish this year with bitcoin and crypto.
- TA doesn't matter again. It's more likely about the fundamental of market rather than TA. I have been in so many talks with TA guys and their prediction didn't even work. They said that bitcoin will go down but just look at the market right now. Bitcoin will moon soon.

Helping more people understand this market correctly, making money is no longer the goal when too much money does not bring happiness if you do not understand the meaning of it. But not too complicated. Maybe I will buy more btc in the future.

I know that this year and the next will be a Dumping or at least Bearish market.

let us not look for so much this year and also in 2023 , don't let your self from falling to the trap set by Whales.

keep your coins and help the market stays strong .

I am currently monitoring market movements, if the market is getting lower or stable at the current price then I will hold it until the coin price increases again, and if the coin I hold increases and can go up to reach its ATH, then I will release all assets which I hold.

Currently the market situation is still unstable, maybe the price of the coin will go down again, following the bitcoin price which they predict will go down again.
So to keep losses, it's better not to sell it first, save it first if you can.
But if the price is getting lower, then make a good decision that you think can protect your assets so that there are no big losses.

Like the original plan, it's not just a yearly target, just consistently invest in crypto both in Bitcoin and in Ethereum. Both have been my benchmark every year, capitalizing on the downturn and welcoming the upswing. March looks pretty bloody so at least there's a few percent I've prepared on Stable Coin first and waiting like yesterday's decline. Now Bitcoin is tugging back at $42K after a deep dive. by now everyone should have done the entry as we did.

2021 was one of the best years and learning curve for me and i have the following plans for 2022 based on 2021. I will be investing into top altcoins like ADA, MATIC and Solano as these coins have almost dropped by 3X from their ATH and it will take just one bullrun to go reachieve or even break the previous ATH. As its proven that too coins will always pump back regardless of dip and also bitcoin investment is must. I will always use stop loss and OCO by overcoming greed. I will not be investing into shit coins or meme coins and stay away from low volume exchanges.

2021 was no doubt an exceptional year in the history of crypto. My faith in btc strengthened in 2021 and now I buy btc on dips without any fear. My strategy for 2022 is same, I will invest only in btc and but it on dips and sell whenever I see my target price. If it feels that you are not proficient in trading, that's not a problem. You only need to believe in investing and save some funds in BTC to be taken in the targeted year. Don't care too much about temporary increase or decrease, you can take the moment for more BTC. Some traders will find it very difficult to become a day trader, but for long-term holders just buy and leave it until the next year to welcome ATH.

Investing in bitcoin can be the best solution for people who believe bitcoin will increase so high and they can still buy bitcoin at a price now or then. When you believe in bitcoin, you will not think about the price movements as @Sterbens said because you only want to accumulate more and more bitcoin. If the price dips, you will buy many satoshis because that will be the best time to buy more and hold until your target price is achieved. Being a day trader is not easy as we will face fluctuating price that makes us fear or worry so being a long-term investor will be good for us as we do not think much about that.

Even if one plans to use the proceeds in decentralized finance (DeFi) pools, there’s always the risk of impairment losses or hacks that compromise access to the funds.
All things clearly have risks that must be borne by each actor or worker, because that is why everyone needs to understand everything completely before making a hasty decision, and if it is well understood, then it is a very mature decision and if still a loss, it means that luck is not on his side.

Crypto does require some luck and more hardwork in terms of market research and proper planning as we have seen some becoming rich overnight due to luck wherein some go bankrupt due to unplanned investment and cashing out at loss. We need knowledge, patience and little bit of luck in crypto and as OP has mentioned there is always a greater risk since the profit margin is also higher than other domains.

I continue to trade altcoins but prefer to choose trending altcoins such as Metaverse or Gaming tokens. I believe there is still some uptrend in this year, even it may not as big as in 2021. I become more careful to use my money this year since the rumor of the beginning of the bearish season. I don't want to waste my money or put them too long in altcoins. So, I prefer to buy not as many as my altcoins assets in 2021.

I've never engaged with Defi pools. I don't see myself willing to take those impairment/impermanent losses that these pools are requiring. It's better to get onset with holding and you're having more authority over the asset that you hold.
While putting it on a pool, you have no choice when you've been hitting those impermanent losses. It's not for me but there are others who are willing to take those losses.

i, on the other hand, tried farming in few of them. but i ended up withdrawing the funds as i noticed, i was not gaining much profit (though the profit depends on the token and the defi platform you are involved with). what i gained was anxiety because i was always looking for the price of the token. lol so yeah, i decided to pull out and just buy top alts. i guess, i will stick to btc as my major part of my portfolio.
going into defi is not bad, but you should know what youre doing. else, you may end up losing rather than gaining.

+ The crypto market continues to grow and peaks in 2022 with a total capital of 5.5T;
+ Then we will see the fall of the whole market and winter will come;
+ BTC price may then go back to MA 200W at 25-30K, but I think it will only come in 2023 and not in 2022

Just keep increntally putting money into high valued projects at a continual pace and you should end up alright.  I do think there is still a lot of bottoming put to do here but don't try to snipe the tops and bottoms too many people missed out trying to do that.  KEEP STACKING SATS!

well, my plan is still the same for now, which is to try to collect popular coins little by little in the hope that the price will go up this year, and hit a new ATH. however, it's all uncertain. no one knows when the price will go up, but based on the current trend, it will most likely go up. however, I am very optimistic about the current price. I've been using this strategy for a long time, and it's always profitable when prices start rising high.

The good thing is that you have learnt from the crypto market and now whatever is the situation of the market, you will be able to make decent money.
Many people just jump in crypto without learning and later blame that they lost their money. A person who has thoroughly lean trading will never complain the market conditions because he/she knows when to trade with how much capital and when to stay on the sidelines.

That's because of the impermanent loss and you seem to gain almost nothing. It's better to pull it out there and just hold it because you're free to do whatever you want.
Those pools require patience and before when they're new, they've been profitable as usual in the market, if you're a first comer then you're at advantage.
But when it has gained popularity, that's already not the same as before.

2021 was no doubt an exceptional year in the history of crypto. My faith in btc strengthened in 2021 and now I buy btc on dips without any fear. My strategy for 2022 is same, I will invest only in btc and but it on dips and sell whenever I see my target price. I don't have good experience with alts like etherum so I will stay away from them.
for your 7 years in crypto? still not tried any altcoins specially ethreum? looks like no one will believe your words here lol.

2021 was not as profitable as we expected, we all expected Bitcoin the be trading at $100k and Ethereum at $10k but the metaverse came and stole the whole hype. NFT also took some money form the market. If all this money were invested in Bitcoin then we would have seen some price close to $100k or above that price.
I think 2022 would not be that bearish as the market has not reached the peak yet. We still have room for further growth and it might just happen anytime soon.

for me to continue trading ETH with the short term method to get daily profits even though it feels a little heavy compared to when trading short term in 2021.
What I have noticed this year is that the market wave is very strong.
Yes, I think the current market trend seems to have crossed the line, if market conditions are about to enter the cold season, it will be a bit difficult because the movement is slowly stabilizing. and now it's time to wait for the moment

So try to keep exploring for yourself and also analyze yourself about the market and also trading.

Looking at the current state of the market then we are difficult to make the decision to plan an investment this year, but in this case we must be able to take action and be ready to accept the risk to invest in some potential altcoins, because the price decline is happening then collecting a good altcoin is the right choice, and we can also invest in bitcoin because almost 50% of the price decreases, Although there is currently a slight increase but buying bitcoin is also very good for us to do.
Risk had always existed in the market and has nothing to do with this but to face it. We can just win this for sure if we are also patient and strong enough to take it. But if we just let our emotion drives us, that definitely won't help instead, it makes us to lose. That is why it is very important to understand the market and make help ourselves to adopt the situation as this is the only way to save us from losing all of our investment. And choose the right projects for investment...

First, I will like to say that I didn't really benefit from last year's bull run for several reasons, and one of them being that I wasn't holding any major coin, the major coins I held which would have helped me benefit from the market growth last year was sold earlier than it should due to several personal challenges.

So this year, am planning to buy as many major coins as possible, this year, am putting plans in place that will help me invest more in crypto and withdraw less from it, I wanna hold as many good coins as possible in preparation for the next ride, it's doesn't matter to me how the market performs this year, my target is to hold as many major coins as possible until we hit the next bull run.

It is not possible to say the exact situation of the market the market move forward with the goal in mind leaving the hull will put you at greater risk. At present the value of currencies in the market is increasing but decreasing again so analyze the market to choose the right currency so that there will be no obstacle in achieving the goal.

It's not wrong to do this but I think things like this should be avoided immediately because it is better if what is suggested is to gain profit but if what you get is a loss then this will only make us no longer trust your friends or relatives so that it makes later split.
I think you should immediately stop this kind of thing and do your own research. This will be better than you having to depend on the people closest to you

I suppose the purpose of every single person investing in any market is to always make more money, even if we know that is impossible we cannot stop trading or investing as no one really knows when yet another growth in the market will occur, and you do not want to be on the sidelines when that movement occurs, so even if the year has not started as we have envisioned, at the same time it would be a mistake to stay out of it just because bitcoin has not acted according to our expectations.

What are your basis why you did conclude that it will grow every year?

Afaik, not every altcoins follow the trend of Bitcoin, so basically most of them would end up dropping for a period of time or the worst part is not at all. I'm sure most people nowadays are holding for a long time ever since the last pump of Bitcoin break a new ATH last year. And most of us are expecting that Bitcoin would reach $100k or just even break the $70k resistance but the price today isn't really pumping that much though. So we might still need more days or even a month before the pump happens.

As much as possible, we want to see all of the trends grow for this year but to say that they'll keep growing year by year. I think we have to stop and realize those early projects that have been broken with its trend.

The most important factors here are how countries will decide to manage this trend.
It's not the countries that will decide but us. The trend starts from the people and these countries are just the same as us. They're also mere adopters but they're not the ones to decide and being followed by the market.

If you play according to the annual plan - that is the medium term.  Catch the trend, the trend and dip… Also play with the long term plan, patience is the reward for the winner.  Cryptocurrency trends and pumps are always exciting and crazy.  It is not clear how the market trends and motives will change this year, but I guess price engines are always capable of creating spikes, the market is having loads of positive news, just need to be patient - win bulls
I guess we'll be moving in the 40k-50k range for a long time this year.

It seems that not all countries want to care and manage cryptocurrencies very well because managing cryptocurrency is not an easy thing for every country, especially since many concepts are always different in cryptocurrency and that obviously will not be in line with the rules of each country.

In 2022 there are many things that we have to develop and we improve in trading and following projects, because currently the metaverse and NFT are experiencing an increase in visitors because this project is predicted to bring good luck in the future, and to invest we have to wait for the state of the market that we can not fully rely on to make profits in the short term, But for the long term we can now rely on some potential coins.
Who predicted this? and as for reliable coins, I think they are still in the category of the best coins like those in the top ten coinmarketcap now which don't even have meme coins in them even though there is one stablecoin that is less suitable for long-term investments except for storing assets in the long term because there is not much increase and decrease there.

My funds have sunk so deep at the end of the season 2021, there are not many things and options for me to choose from other than considering DCA and Hold for the most part this year. The market is in a more positive atmosphere, but it is not "justified" simply by geopolitical issues related to Ukraine, for example. Lol, I think holding and building patience throughout for the long term would be a wise idea for 2022
You should have more patient and still, have hope and believe that this year will allow you to recover your losses in 2021. I think you are not alone because many of us have the same experience as you and we should not give up because we still have a bright future. You need to hold your coins tight and not sell at a low price because if you do that, you will regret it when you see the market moves change this year. While you are in waiting time, you still have a chance to buy back many potential coins that can give you profit later.

I agree with what you are saying now because the final idea that is also brilliant is holding on for the long term from the beginning of the year so that you can also recover the losses that you have received at the end of last year, because I personally am still very confident that the market will improve again in this year, although my predictions at this time are not necessarily correct and could even be wrong if the market does not experience a significant improvement.
Don't worry, that's how predictions are not necessarily right and not necessarily wrong either.
other than that in crypto it is not easy to predict accurately so I think it would be wise if you just keep following the news and developments,
What is certain is that here we all hope that the market can improve this year, we will see later

Like it or not, it is better for you to hold than to close with the risk of getting a loss, right now market conditions are not in a stable condition and price movements in the market often experience unexpected corrections so that this has an impact on our portfolio, I think it's not just geopolitics that affect the current market conditions, but many factors such as fear of inflation or others that make the market a little worse, but I think if your altcoin has strong fundamentals it's better for you to hold it for a period of time long, so that if you are lucky later you will get a big return for your patience in holding it.

Since 70 % of my funds are on Bitcoin so i think i may say We have the same strategy , I know how time needs for bitcoin to really feel the profit so my willingness to wait is always there.

and My altcoins on hold are just for trouble shooting, meaning in case i needed emergency funds. there is something that i can take out without damaging my Bitcoin on hold.

so Yes it is Holding is my strategy for this year.

The problem is that people have started to invest into buzzwords and that is our biggest problem. If we keep investing just because it includes some of these words and we do not check the projects then we are not going to make a profit. I have seen too many people invest into NFT or Metaverse just because it has its names then I do not think that it would make any sense.

I get the idea of NFT and Metaverse combo where people would be able to play games, and then stop those games, sell all they have and get tokens and then move to next game and that way they wouldn't be starting form zero (as mark suggested) but that doesn't mean we should invest into all of them just because they have those words.

Humm, I sympathize with you because I am in the same situation.  My very good altcoins have been falling since December but its recovery is very likely.  I have Sov dca from 28 -> 4$ now, PYR from 34 -> 12, but I'm not much worried because altcoins will come back strong when bitcoin has a beat off the $46k threshold and is at a safe level.

If the coin is not rallying then holding is the only option that is left :D. I was expecting a major correction and hence i booked my major profits during this rally and now i really do not care whether we rally or go through a major correction. If it goes higher i will sell the rest of the coins i am holding and if we see a major correction, i see them as an opportunity to accumulate once again for the next rally. ;)

For now the strategy for buying my coins is to at least buy $5 of some of the coins on my watchlist as this makes it much easy to grow a portfolio without breaking my bank and its very much doable for anyone taking up this strategy and support is readily available when its needed.
Its good to invest what you can afford to lose, and averaging is also a good strategy.
My plans for now is to become more effective in trading and waste no money in fake projects because I don’t want to get scammed again. I know cryptomarket will be good this year, so I really have to do my best to have good coins on my wallet, I’m also planning to buy good projects every month.

Honestly, I really want to get into the whole passive income and asset world properly. It could be staking, it could be lending systems, it could be liquidity providing, it could be masternodes or regular nodes, it could be anything that pays me but also gains some value itself as well, so not like staking BUSD type of deal.

All in all, the most common known one for example is Cake, you get both the income but also cake price could go up. That type of idea where the investment itself goes up but it also pays you is the key to future freedom. Reinvest that into crypto again and you will keep growing exponentially and make a great return for sure.

Yes, absolutely right, invest only on the amount that you can afford to lose and before you're going to invest of course know the use cases of that project not just because you afford the buying price and not just because it is hype. My plans for this year 2022 crypto market is to find a worth and valuable project that really has a promising future. I know finding this project will take time especially I wanted to invest in a new project which has a good use case so I can say already that I need to make a further research about it.

I have a target to increase assets in 2022, some of the coins that I main target are Sandbox, Decentraland and MATIC, this is because these 3 coins can be adopted with NFT or Metaverse so it will create a significant demand from these 3 coins.

I started my action towards my plan and that is converting some of my coins to another coins , those who are not moving goof from last year? now i changed them all to potential coins(because i already profited from those sets of coins)

Now i am confident that my holdings for this year will bring me nice return in the following years.

and also i was planning to add more Binance coin and Cardano, any thought guys?

those are your plans but the question is have you act on that plans? is there any movement you started since the market now is starting to increase again? or these are just words but will never take place?
I have bought more altcoins this February specially when the price drops back in January and i take that chance to buy Binance and XRP , those are the new added to my folio(though i already have plenty of those in my holding since last year)

The problem is with the NFT and Metaverse, if NFT and Metaverse can continue to improve this year and next year, it is possible that the three coins will experience very good value or price developments in the market, because recently the NFT and Metaverse markets have also experienced price drop through the three coins, although now it has started to increase again.

I Bought  Cardano (ADA) https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/cardano/ late January and yes I can feel my profit even today.

I am also planning to buy Binance coin(BNB)  once my pay day comes next week , My wife agreed about me spending my month payroll to use as investment.

Sandbox is what i am eyeing now mate, because this is being introduced and support by big personalities now and big companis .

If you manage to Buy in the end of January then you are surely in profit this moment .

In this year there will not be many coins that will be able to make new ATH because the correction received by all coins at the end of last year and also at the beginning of this year has been so deep that it will take much longer to approach the price at the previous ATH level.

In my opinion, there will be no winter season of cryptocurrencies in 2022. This trend will grow every year. The most important factors here are how countries will decide to manage this trend.
At least to me this seems like a naive view, while it is true that I would like for the market of cryptocurrencies to keep growing forever at the same time this is not something possible, at some point there are going to be some corrections or even crashes, and what better example than what we can see with bitcoin? Bitcoin is full of impressive bull markets but also it is full of spectacular crashes, which is why it is important that when we invest in bitcoin or any other asset we do it by understanding as much as possible how the markets work, so we can react to the negative trends that appear from time to time in the best way possible.

That simply means your still normal if you don't know whats going to happen and it is a good thing because you are not different to us. That is also why there are people that are predicting early and we do not need to judge them because we aren't even sure with our own predictions. Some can only say that because they based on the past markets. They think it will happen again. Just keep on believing if what you think will happen with the price.

I see that you want a bull run this year well you are not alone with that but almost 60 percent of the crypto population are also demanding the same thing. I think these people missed the bull run last year because they are too excited.

I imagine that the staggering returns that Bitcoin had in the previous years will be decreased going ahead, despite the fact that it will in any case be truly productive to purchase Bitcoin. On the off chance that you zoom into bitcoin, it should be business as usual, which is the specific explanation it is liked by most to other digital currencies.

The confidence is extraordinary and hopefully what you hope for can be achieved to the maximum because until now there has been no sign of improvement in the market even though Bitcoin has started to look green, but the price is still not much different from last month.

my plan is in 2022 and at this time the market is continuing to decline I will continue to buy a little and slowly hope this year there will be a high increase and I allocate part of my capital in coins that are in the top market such as bitcoin, eth and bnb and me too wish good luck by buying coin memes.
If you start hoping for success by buying coin memes, that seems a bit wrong in my opinion because coin memes are always different from other utility coins which can easily get a pump when the market starts to recover, whereas coin memes always need special news to get pumped up very good and the possibility is still very small in my opinion. So don't bet your money in coin memes and just put all your money in those three coins you have chosen.
I am really become shocked that he is planning to invest his valuable capital on meme coin .It's better to invest Btc ,Eth and bnb always but it is really a gambling to put your money on meme coin .You may loose your all investment if it goes scam .If you invest on more popular meme coin like shiba and doge it still too risky that you will get a good return but if you are fortunate you may get huge return .However like you i also wanna suggest him to ignore meme coin and choose more strong project on market .However my plan is straight to invest on bitcoin and eth and bnb .I hope i will get a good return within this year end .

2022 starts with a negative trend, I hope the market doesn't drop again so I will hold some coins that I make long-term targets, my plan in 2022 is to invest 30% for old coins such as MATIC, BNB and TRON and 70% for speculation with invest new listed coins.
Well, holding isn't a new strategy but people do this for some reason and one of these is to keep safe from losing. But this eventually works for those who have patience but for those who are not, it was a big sacrifice for them and they can no longer hold it, they will sell them.

Investing in the right coins is the best idea to take and only invest the amount that we can afford to lose. But I simply don't say we have to put everything in crypto alone, having it spread to outside crypto-like in the stock market seems to be the best.

No bitcoin with that plan of yours?

30% for three coins is going to allocate you little if your budget for investing there is just small. And you're a risk taker.

You're into those newly listed coins and the pump and dump is much higher and could be win or lose for you.

Get at least 20%-50% of bitcoin for that alllocation.

Bitcoin has proven to be a safe and profitable investment option, so always include Bitcoin in our portfolio. I highly recommend that even 70% of
our capital is allocated to buy Bitcoin, and only 30% for altcoins. I am not a person who dares to take the risk of investing more than 30%
in altcoins, because we know how risky investing in altcoins is. Moreover, new altcoins have a much greater risk, I will not use my capital more
than 20% of the new altcoins investment. We must be wise in how to manage the capital we have. Don't be easily tempted by investors who have
made big profits from investing in new altcoins.

I've made a lot of mistakes during my 5 years of investing in crypto, so I'm learning not to repeat the same mistakes. My mistake is easily attracted
by what influencers are promoting, which they predict will make big profits by investing in the altcoins they promote. Even though these influencers
have bought these altcoins before, because they only think about personal gain. Especially for newbies who don't have knowledge and can't
analyze properly, avoid investing in new altcoins.

Why do you prefer to set aside 70% of capital for new altcoins listed this year? I need to know why because from some people I see they are more likely to choose older altcoins that have potential by setting a higher percentage there, but I see you are doing things differently now, especially this year.
What is this really ???
I think it's an attempt to earn big profits by risking the same amount of risk, it's really not worth it in my opinion when someone is risking 70% to invest with the hope of big profits in newly listed coins. maybe if the percentage is 30% for new coins listed a very good choice, and set aside 70% to invest in old coins that have potential for the future.

It is really not easy to make plans these years. I know that I am not the only one, but I had a few added extra bad periods, and I have to say that we are living probably in one of the worst periods of modern world. Obviously 100+ years ago there was a world war while without having much technology, and the Spanish flu as well, so it was similar and yet worse.

However, even with all that has happened in the past 20+ years, even 40 or so years, I could easily say that we never had a potential of global pandemic for years on top of a world war three situation at the same time. I mean we had some "scares" but not these huge two things back to back. To consider that we could make "plans" for 2022 is beyond my mind for now.

I agree with you mate, this time is really not easy to make plans, we're just starting out the year, the covid virus may hopefully gone away but hence there is another distress that happening that everyone is concerned about if ever this war between Russia and Ukraine may go that far what would be the possible economic effect would it bring to every country economy. There are some speculations that this may affect the stock market and even the crypto market, so with that being said I just don't have any idea what would I do rather than holding my current assets present in my portfolio.

I think that it is clear the correction is upon us.

Right now, you just need to ensure that you preserve your capital and you don't make any over-leveraged moves that wipe you out in the bear market.

Historically, 2 years after the halving is going to see a very bearish market outlook and I think that is what we're seeing right now. The conflicts happening geopolitically certainly doesn't help, and the Fed tapering as well.

knowledge and ability to read price movements in the market, whatever the allocation of our investment in altcoins it is the responsibility of

Bitcoin should never be left behind and must be in our portfolio, because like you said Bitcoin can be a savior for the losses we experience.
After all, the price of Bitcoin does tend to continue to rise every year, this means that investing in Bitcoin will be profitable as long as we can
be patient holding it in the long term. In contrast to altcoins, where only a few altcoins are viable for long-term investment. That's the reason
why my altcoins allocation is not more than Bitcoin. Because I don't want my capital to be stuck in altcoins a lot. As we know some altcoins are
indeed difficult to recover, so always be careful when choosing altcoins for investment.

That's pretty good but on the other hand you can pay it in installments too because even bitcoin is now quite cheap and has even reached $35k several times I think it's a good thing to pay it off instead of waiting for $30k at once.
I think this will still happen with the current market which is still not stable and now the political upheaval is still happening, resulting in an increasingly uncertain market so as long as you can buy and hold your assets I think this can happen

Yes, indeed.

A strategy that works for him, might not work for both of us and the same goes for you and me, vice versa.

The price of bitcoin looks going up if the chart looking is zoomed but if looking at it on a daily basis, there goes the huge difference from it. As for altcoin investments, some have the strategy of looking to the newest because they know how to get in and out there.

Since all markets are down and we don't have many investment opportunities due to lower capital, I prefer investing in the small marketcap altcoins. Finding gem altcoins is not going to be easy as expected but there are several options to increase chances, finding the right tools will take time. The current year looks like will be bearish for the crypto world, I can wait a few more months before investing more in the altcoin portfolio.
I also do the same with you, the market is currently in a downward stage and I try to take advantage of the current decline by buying altcoins that have strong fundamentals such as BSC and ETH coins by buying them on every decline, because I believe this coin can give me greater returns in the future when the market has recovered.
Ethereum is a good choice but what about BSC? are you sure this will be the other option? why not instead BNB than that BSC? Am not sure on that one but at least consider good project instead .

and also Since there has been good coins advantage why not then Buy Bitcoin also .

and another one that i bought? it is RIPPLE of course with so much lowering now I believe that this is the best added currency for my folio.

I wait for time to make some good entries when market will at last bottom point. It is up to you when market will returns to take entry. I clearly think market will not going to positive mode until world goes into peace so not to take entry now. May be much better entry later. Thank you

The first step I will take is to remain positive regardless of market movements. Of course continue to trade with analysis so as not to get trapped. If crypto prices decline and enter the bearish season, of course this will not happen suddenly, there will be a several support level that must be broken first.
This will create an opportunity for us to seek profit or as a reference to re-enter the market after a price decline occurs. We can start buying activities in an effort to get stock back for us to sell later when prices rise again.

My funds have sunk so deep at the end of the season 2021, there are not many things and options for me to choose from other than considering DCA and Hold for the most part this year. The market is in a more positive atmosphere, but it is not "justified" simply by geopolitical issues related to Ukraine, for example. Lol, I think holding and building patience throughout for the long term would be a wise idea for 2022
Humm, I sympathize with you because I am in the same situation.  My very good altcoins have been falling since December but its recovery is very likely.  I have Sov dca from 28 -> 4$ now, PYR from 34 -> 12, but I'm not much worried because altcoins will come back strong when bitcoin has a beat off the $46k threshold and is at a safe level.
It will never happen mate sorry because altcoins will not having good bounce this year unless Bitcoin made its road high but looking at the market behavior nowadays?
there is nothing that shows there will be an increase in the sooner days.
my plans this year? will continue Holding and forget about the market this whole year.
and also waiting for chance to buy more if the price falls down to 20k level again .

The first step I will take is to remain positive regardless of market movements. Of course continue to trade with analysis so as not to get trapped. If crypto prices decline and enter the bearish season, of course this will not happen suddenly, there will be a several support level that must be broken first.
Decreases and increases in the market always have an effect because nothing happens by itself in the market, for example like now with many issues about war conflicts and FUD everywhere making market conditions unstable because some investors are still very afraid to enter to the market.

Everyone who has bought this year also still chooses to wait because maybe the desired profit target has not been achieved so it doesn't matter if you also have to be patient because you still haven't gotten the profit, because all profits will come when the market has completely recovered later in this year.

Well my plans for this year 2022, I still keep holding my altcoins because I already bought them at the highest price so I'm waiting my altcoins to fully recover and I will buy some more altcoins, it's really good time to buy now because it's very cheap. This is our opportunity to make money in the near future.

Waiting for the price to return to the point when you bought the asset you hold is a natural thing for a trader to do. No one wants to lose half the value of their money by selling an asset at a low price.
You can take the opportunity to make money when the price is low, but you must also look at the asset to be purchased, lest you wait too long because the price will decrease after you buy.

Those who still have unused capital for other things, it is better to enter the market and buy good coins at low prices, but if you have bought at high prices in the past then you just need to increase your patience to this time before using another capital to buy more coins.

Even though at the time of the correction it is more likely to happen than during the Bullrun

actually that is what most Holders  do, either Short term holder or long term yet this is what we are looking for.
because let us always remember the term used mostly as "Buy Low Sell High" meaning we must wait for the right timing and how long will it takes for us to make money.

Be careful with such a strict HODL strategy, especially with (low cap) altcoins. If you look at the charts of 2018, in the beginning of the year also many people waited for new highs just to look at a steady downtrend and accumulating >90% losses at the end of the year. Diversification is key in such a market.

but what about  considering buying altcoins now because the price are really dumping ? isn't the best chance to purchase more?
No matter how you feel about AI, it is the future. Bright and happy future. But it won’t come for a long time, as long as quality datasets are available only to multibillion dollar corporations. And many people understand this, that is why SNSOne is a godsend for me, as a trader, and for the whole world in general.
AI is far from being recognized by everyone as of now but surely we will be there in the future so lets make it waiting to take our funds in the future.

I really want to take a bigger bite at it for sure. Everyone here has to be aware that there are millions upon millions of dollars going around in crypto world, and I am not even talking about just buying coins, there is a whole market for it. From developers do designers, from social media managers to content writers, from paid ads managers to telegram admins.

There are tons of jobs and business ideas out there. If you gave me like 100 million dollars or just tell me we have unlimited funding, I would be able to build 1000 different crypto related jobs, all different from each other. I just want to be in this market, and get what is mine. Thankfully I have a great job, it allowed me to read and learn many things about crypto.

Reaching to a sustainable level where I keep having money on my account is ideal at this stage. Right now I have a small amount of money in crypto, and very little cash, and I keep either investing or withdrawing that money. I want to be able to say I have 10k+ dollars in investment and at least another 10k+ dollars in cash as well.

If I can reach that, maybe this year, maybe next, but if I can reach that then I will feel a bit more comfortable. Right now, I am nowhere near those levels unfortunately, but I am working towards it, step by step and eventually I know that one day I will be able to reach that level. It may take months, it may take years, but I will get there.

I feel that the marvelous returns that Bitcoin had in the previous years will be diminished going ahead, in spite of the fact that it will in any case be truly beneficial to purchase Bitcoin. On the off chance that you zoom into bitcoin, it should be business as usual, which is the specific explanation it is liked by most to other digital forms of money.

+ The crypto market continues to grow and peaks in 2022 with a total capital of 5.5T;
+ Then we will see the fall of the whole market and winter will come;
+ BTC price may then go back to MA 200W at 25-30K, but I think it will only come in 2023 and not in 2022

yep crypto market really growing drastically last year and for sure there's a lot of investors that are satisfied on their investment.
For me this year although the market isn't fine i think we should focus more which way we can really make profits in my personal opinion , what i mean where we can make quick profits despite of the situation.. And for me my plan is to ride small bounce since i was quite good in it and even small percentage of profits it doesn't matter to me at least i have income on this situation..

pretty good plans for the start of the year. well, I'm also planning almost that, it's just that I'll probably focus on just 1 coin, which is BNB. I plan to have more than 20 BNB this year. well, even though I currently have very little BNB, and still have other coins, but I plan to sell other coins when the price is rising and buy BNB. well, maybe $5k worth of BNB at $400 is my current plan. the plan may change depending on the circumstances. hope the BNB price hasn't hit $1k before I have 20 BNB minimum in my wallet.
Investing with solid asset would be a great idea while the market still fluctuating, you can invest your money while the value still below your target price, Assuming that you are eyeing for $1k or more than that per BNB coin which most likely will happen along the way, BNB is one of those promising asset that continue to grow, with that solid business behind this coin taking it for your long-term investment is a good option to take.

Though everything will be depending on your own knowledge about those particular coins and how you trust the people
behind the project.

Progressive coin will give you a huge chance to attain your dream success.

Many people are disappointed to see the current market situation which is going down, we should be able to see from the positive side what is
happening now. Where almost all potential coins fell quite far compared to what had been achieved in the previous year, meaning that it does
give us the opportunity this year to buy coins at low prices. Because if our mind is filled with negativity, it just makes us take wrong decisions.
That's the importance of having a good knowledge of the crypto world, so that we understand how the crypto market works. So we don't panic
seeing the current market conditions, and are more daring to buy coins that we think are potential and we believe in the future of these coins.
Like BNB, it's one of the coins that must be bought right now, besides the price is quite cheap to buy, BNB also has an excellent development team,
as evidenced by the success that BNB has achieved so far. So buying BNB is a very good step to take now, because I also believe BNB has a bright
future and it is very possible for BNB to reach $1000 price in the future.
No one knows on what would the future holds but you could actually choose up some projects which might be worth on upcoming years to come even though
it wont really be that precisely predicted due to lots of coins in the market for you to choose on but with proper research and analysis then odds on getting
the best or sweet spot could really be possible.Just set out plans for yourself and tend to risk out on something you do believe on.

Now almost all NFT platforms and games are experiencing a decline and altcoins are no exception which are already popular in the market today.
So I think this is still very reasonable to happen as long as the market doesn't get a good fix in this year and everyone should be more careful in entrusting all existing platforms like NFT and Games.

I do not do just one coin, it just makes me feel like I am missing out on something and that is why I try to stay away from it as much as I can. However, with the diversified or single coin, the argument and the goal is almost always the same for people like you and me.

If you are rich enough that you have enough money saved aside and you do not have to worry about, then life is good for you. Could I save that kind of money? I could probably do that, but then it would require me to never live my life. No vacations, no purchases of any items I want, no dinners at a good restaurant. If anyone tells you that you need to stop living your life in order to save, ask them save for what.

It's true and seeing market conditions this year maybe we don't need to have high expectations of the market,
surely everyone also hopes that the market can return to normal and need to see the development as well,
with conditions like this, it not only affects the price of coins, but the NFT game is the same too
That is obviously not something that I would advice, I would not be able to do anything that could hurt me, and NFT or most other projects would be very bad decisions to get into right now if you are aiming at long term profits. But the fact that you think this year will be bad, when we are only in march, should be advised against as well.

At the end of the day, we are not doing something that is hurtful to anyone neither, we are doing something that would benefit everyone when bitcoin goes up, so it is easier to get higher since everyone would benefit from it.

When it is going down, you either lose money or you do not, there is no good in there, but when it is going up, you either win or you do not, there is no bad things there. This is why we should not claim to know what bitcoin will do in March, we have nearly eight more months left in the year.

Even big coins are at low position now so we have to buy and hold for sometimes. We should get huge profit. BTC price also will touch the all time high so my plans is build a portfolio with good coins and enjoy their ride.

If we make a general comment for cryptos, it is a fact that it has earned quite a lot at the moment. In the comments we made in the past months, the cryptos had hit the bottom. BTC was in the $ 30 thousand band, and there were claims that it would drop to $ 5000. At the moment, the market is quite calm and stable. I'm expecting a Bull run rather than a winter month.

It seems to me that the new projects this year will be relatively much more effective. I kept some of my assets to invest in new projects. - Continue to dollar-cost average so I win in the end regardless if we reach new all-time highs in 2022 or not
- Bring more attention to tokenomics when making altcoin picks
- Less impulsiveness when making trades

Agree with dollar cost averaging.  The best strategy is to continually stack sats.  Not touching altcoins during this bearish trend as most will take hard hits like every bear market.  Head down and continue to stack.

In 2022 I think the crypto market is in decline and very much different from 2021, but this is only half a journey and we don't know what will happen in the future, but in this case we have our own plans to be able to get benefits if later crypto prices can increase, then now we have to save some potential altcoins so that later when experiencing an increase we can get maximum profits, it seems that winter is coming to an end.

The increase in cryptocurrencies in 2021 is very high, even some popular altcoins have managed to reach the ATH price. So, 2022 should be the time
for a correction, because it is impossible for the crypto market to continue to rise without experiencing a correction. The problem is that no one knows
the future, so no one really knows how long the correction will take. Instead of being confused about how long the market decline will take, it's better
if we take advantage of the current moment to buy crypto that we consider potential at low prices. Because if we can buy coins at low prices, then when
the crypto market recovers and increases we can make big profits. Most importantly, avoid investing in new projects and shitcoins. Since investing
in new projects and shitcoins is very risky, there is a possibility that when the price drops, it is very difficult to recover.

when the market is bearish is the right time to buy some Altcoins, as is the case now but in the last few days the market price movement is quite positive with continuing to grow slowly.

Currently in 2022 there are several new projects under development which are very hype, such as the Metaverse coin project which is attracting a lot of investors, I think that being included in this new project is very good but it must be entered at the right time to buy and release.

There are other P2E games but I think not all of them are going to be sustainable. Everything is going to come back with the usual investments that we've been doing like by simply buying and selling of bitcoin and other altcoins that you think and is good to hold. That's the normal plan that we do and just to accumulate some more while we can before any major bull run starts again.

BTC was in the $ 30 thousand band, and there were claims that it would drop to $ 5000. At the moment, the market is quite calm and stable. I'm expecting a Bull run rather than a winter month.
5k drop? I think that's too far already so no it is not going to happen. 30k was already a big dump and almost half of the price have lost to btc because btc was 60k+ last time. That is the reason why the price didn't fall beyond that. Market being stable can be one of the signs that a bull run will happen, so I hope you guys have your coins ready but for those who don't have a coin, what are you waiting for?

There is still time left before we take off to the moon. Lots of us haven't sold our coins last year, thinking that the price will rose more but let us hope that the price won't disappoint us anymore so that we can continue our postponed plan which is to sell for bigger profits.

In 2022 I think the crypto market is in decline and very much different from 2021, but this is only half a journey and we don't know what will happen in the future, but in this case we have our own plans to be able to get benefits if later crypto prices can increase, then now we have to save some potential altcoins so that later when experiencing an increase we can get maximum profits, it seems that winter is coming to an end.
when the market is bearish is the right time to buy some Altcoins, as is the case now but in the last few days the market price movement is quite positive with continuing to grow slowly.

Currently in 2022 there are several new projects under development which are very hype, such as the Metaverse coin project which is attracting a lot of investors, I think that being included in this new project is very good but it must be entered at the right time to buy and release.
Market is always been like this on which it could move upside down which it is really hard to make some speculation and guess in regarding with our investment decisions thats why
each person does have their own target and preference on how they would be handling out their investment which would really differ into each other.Whether we do accumulate
when its on a bearish run or would simply wait to make out some move when it starts to recover? Its always been like this thats why it isnt surprising
on having these kind of actions.

Well every project has a new concept and if we look into existing projects that consider failures, they are just the same.
It is very risky to invest in new projects nowadays, we should verify it first before investing and putting all our money into them, and in 2022, --there are too many of them and we also avoid hype projects because most of them are ended up a scam project.
However, why not we did not choose a proven and tested coin like bitcoin, just focus on them instead of choosing a new altcoin that we will never know will turn out into a shitcoin. My plan is to hold my asset, the new halving of bitcoin has almost come and I think there is a better reward for those who wanted to have it.

the potential for improvement seems to be showing now, so I think the crypto market will actually pick up and recover. currently the bitcoin price has reached $47,167 and continues to move up when it starts to reach $37K. but I agree with you it's still half way through and it's likely anything will happen, but this March it's likely to close at $50K, although it might not be easy to get there.

with the increase in bitcoin it will make the crypto market even more excited and altcoins are also affected by this increase. hopefully many new projects can also perform well and succeed with bitcoin achieving upgrades.
agree with you it's time to save some potential altcoins and hold them for a good time.

It is true that crypto market has been bearish during the first quarter of 2022 but Bitcoin has shown good bullish during the past one week and in particular today it is trading above 47K which is quite healthy sign. The Alts market is also showing upward movement and we can expect a good rally in alts once Bitcoin breaks 50K and stays there for few days.

It should be like that, people or investors and traders have their own respective strategy in how to take advantage of every market movement. They're some who will continue to buy and store their assets aiming for higher profits while for some, just ride with the flow and take whatever you can as long as you are in profitable side.

Different people mean different mentalities. Trading is mostly skills and knowledge with the assets that you are working with.

You can take your chance to either with long or short style of trading.

Different people means different strategies is something so important and yet not emphasized enough at all. I have to say that there are too many people who check some "influencers" on twitter uses and then tries to replicate, and there will definitely be some other people who will succeed with it as well.

But, what people do not realize is that if that strategy is not okay for your own style, then you will end up losing that money. Each different characteristic offers a different approach and requires a different system. When people do not realize this, they end up being quite unhappy with the results. That should be highlighted a lot more.

Dollar cost average is not boring. It's like you are investing in bitcoin and crypto which will give you many  returns in the future.
I will be holding my crypto and only sell if it reacheds another all time high. If the prices , dump more I will wait and never sell in panic or in loss.
As long as it brings profits, DCA will always be a  very useful strategy. That is why i do it more often because i usually making good returns from it. And i have definite plan this year to maximize buying and hodling bitcoin because i always believe that having bitcoin is the most secured thing that your future will be brighter and become more profitable and productive.

My plan is to maximize the Bitcoin. For this purpose i will look for Altcoin to give me atleast 2x . Graph show that market will Remain bullish at the End of April and this is chance for me to take profit.
At the end of april i will sell my coins and will calm down until market condition clear. I hope at the end of 2022 I would have doubled  my Bitcoin.

That's a good plan, and I do hope that ypu have executed it already, buying at lower lows around $30k'ish and then holding it because the price has gone up to $47k, so that instant profit already.

And same with the rest of the altcoins, or at least those in the top. For sure if bitcoin goes up, the top 20 coins should increased as well. and that is not a secret in crypto. Everything relies on bitcoin and then altcoin market follows.

indeed so far the market can be said to be slowly starting to improve, although the possibility of going back down is still there and we don't know for sure,
what is clear is that it is marked by the rising price of Bitcoin and followed by several altcoins

A clear plan is indeed needed by an investor, so as not to be misguided later or in other words not to have a clear management in which direction we are going. I think you have prepared well, by buying some altcoins that you have analyzed for sure and selling them when your desire has been achieved this is what an investor needs to do. I hope that your plan goes well.

+ The crypto market continues to grow and peaks in 2022 with a total capital of 5.5T;
+ Then we will see the fall of the whole market and winter will come;
+ BTC price may then go back to MA 200W at 25-30K, but I think it will only come in 2023 and not in 2022

I am currently monitoring market movements, if the market is getting lower or stable at the current price then I will hold it until the coin price increases again, and if the coin I hold increases and can go up to reach its ATH, then I will release all assets which I hold.

I personally don't have big plans in 2022 because the crypto market is very weak, for sure right now I'm still holding the assets I have, but I'm still monitoring the movement of the coins in CMC, if the market recovers and the price of the assets I hold go up can reach its ATH then I will plan to sell all the assets that I have been holding.

I try as much as possible to stay far away from altcoins that has no potential that is why my investment in 2021 was in Bitcoin since Bitcoin is more stable and less volatile. But I can't just roll out the capacity of some altcoins to do well in the present market we must also be aware of the volatility of the altcoin market.

Current developments all depend on BTC, I don't know what people think, but from time to time, things have been gradually getting better and many people are gradually gaining greater confidence, according to their understanding. Personally, I am in this field after many years. I don't care too much about the trend of the altcoin market. What we are always looking for is BTC, and of course, other coins will also have opportunities/risks but let's do thorough research when you want to make a decision so you don't make fundamental mistakes.

There are way too many newbie accounts here, no idea why, but let me suggest something to newbie accounts here. If you are actually newbie, and not some veteran that started a new account, then I have to say that the best thing you could do would be to make a good return, otherwise it makes no sense at all. Why would anyone worry about what the market will do in 2022? Because, they want to make a profit in 2022, that's why.

Do not be like that if you are a newbie, veterans care because they do more daily related or weekly related stuff but if you are a newbie, the aim should be getting to a good level first and that will only happen with long term. Invest now, but not to make money right away, only to make money in a few years until next halving and increase.

As is happening now that we see in various crypto markets, some of the coins that are perched on the top are our reference. Meanwhile, many new coins have not been successful due to economic factors in society. I admit that people are getting smarter in choosing which coins to invest in in 2022, and there are also those who hold coins whose prices have decreased since late 2021. So this year's plan is still the same as last year's, transacting in the market for buying and selling coins that are really popular or trending.

I've changed my plan now as 2nd quarter is still badly showing my Folio continues to drop, maybe i will be needing to sell all my Altcoins and will maintain my position in Bitcoin instead.
but of course this may change depend on how the market response in the next quarter as I cannot wait for the 4th quarter for this to keep dumping.

your move is very appropriate because in a bear market situation, it is a good step to let go of altcoins that do not provide prospects and switch to bitcoin. because we know that bitcoin will continue to increase in time. but i also think it is wise to keep the potential altcoins on hold as it will be the same as with bitcoin.
maybe if you look at existing developments where many state institutions have started to trust crypto, it will certainly make FUD be eroded and make the crypto market better. hopefully not the 4th quarter you can dump, but maybe it will be earlier and we hope that.

because BTC is going to $28K maybe it will still happen and here we have to be able to pay in installments to buy it from the price of $35k - $28k if there is growth we can sell it and so far btc still can't break the $47k and $48k lines

It's possible. I'm bullish but everything is possible for btc. Just like last year, I think $28k was the lowest that has been reached after going to its ATH.
And if that will be seen anytime soon then you have to make your own action of buying some of it so that you'll have it when the price goes back at its recovery. Right now, it's floating and unknown as if there's a huge possibility that a single blow of plummet happens.

With the way the market is going, I see 2022 as year of accumulation, the market is down and there is possibility it will go lower, in this situation there is nothing much to do than accumulate. My portfolio of alts is down more that 60% so I have decided to engage in staking most of my tokens to accumulate more until the market recovers.
I don't have any intention to invest on new projects. The few ones I hold are good enough to give good profit when the market is back. The best thing in this period is farming and staking.

The support for Bitcoin is still huge in the market so it's a little more difficult to get down to your intended price because right now the Bitcoin price is still at $38K+ in the market which means it's only $10K away from your desired price.
I am more sure that the Bitcoin price will start to hold and rise again in the Bull period which is likely to happen again this year.

OP have mentioned a bear market only during the year 2023 and not in 2022. To his surprise it has happened earlier. According to my understanding about the market 2022 is going to be the year of new investors. Only with fresh investors participation we're going to experience the forward move.

When 2022 we are going through and the current value of crypto is not what we feel like last year, and the bear market is starting to feel again we feel, for now there is no big plan that we can do and must first look at price development and if the decline continues to occur then investing is a very risky thing, but some investors can take advantage of this opportunity and they choose to save some potential altcoins and later for several years In the future, great profits will definitely be felt.

I am searching to invest in some interesting NFT projects. I am player, so I want to find a cool p2e game. I love, when you can play and get some profit from it. I've already heard about one p2e game "reptile chronicles". The devs said that the game will be like a Terraria. I liked their lore, it is so inique and interesting. What do you think about this project?

Buy as much as possible and hold it until a big spike occurs, the bears are still doing something that can give traders a chance to get a big discount, a good opportunity to add to the Portfolio list. Long-term plans can be adopted while the bears are dancing in the cryptocurrency market, taking the opportunity when more declines from spikes can be made gradually. No need to be afraid to lose, traders who are willing to take risks will get several times when the bulls come.

Right now is time for buying as possible many kinds altcoin because have been on bottom price but waiting have new bottom or dip price again? but if I have still saving money keep collect several potential altcoin like BNB and ETH will be my favorite holding coins, but right now still waiting with several my altcoin assets still drop and still can't predicting when bitcoin and altcoin can reach top price. Many time bad news make bitcoin and altcoin have get crash and difficult pump again above $40,000 for bitcoin and keep stable on $30,000 almost last several days until right now.

It's not very effective to buy as much as possible in the same price but make gradual purchases, because the market will not be predictable to fly or fall in the next week, so it's better to apply the DCA buying method to minimize high losses if the market movement drops drastically.

Since the beginning of the year, the crypto market has actually shown a decline in prices, but entering the month of May, the decline is getting worse.
So it's not surprising that quite a number of investors have moved their coins to stablecoins, so as not to be affected by the bear market that is
still ongoing today. Actually buying coins when the bear market is very profitable, but the problem is that not all altcoins are good to buy when a bearish
trend occurs. For popular altcoins as you mentioned, namely BNB and ETH, it is guaranteed that they will most likely recover following the price of Bitcoin.
But we have to be careful when we invest in new coins or shitcoins, it will make us suffer losses. So it doesn't matter if we buy altcoins in today's
market conditions, the most important thing is that we have to make sure we invest in the right coins.

What I love about BTT is that you don't have to explain to everyone what DAO, token, etc. are. So at least here I hope to hear some proper feedback about Phaver. It’s just that a social platform that pays for activity sounds very tempting.

- Continue to dollar-cost average so I win in the end regardless if we reach new all-time highs in 2022 or not
- Bring more attention to tokenomics when making altcoin picks
- Less impulsiveness when making trades

Well said. Dollar cost average  is best strategy  when market is  not stable but we should do it when Bitcoin price falls  to a reasonable level. When I look at support resistance chart on weekly time frame the support levels are 19535, 17420 & 16293. Though Bitcoin currently trading above 22K but volatility is expected when FED will announce interest rate decision.

In the crypto world of course we have our own plans and it all depends on how the market is doing, if the market situation is like today, of course I have to buy some potential altcoins to invest in the long term, because with the current decline we must be able to take advantage of the situation even though the risks are very large but we must have confidence if we want to get profits in the future, and my biggest plan is just to collect coins that are indeed promising for the foreseeable future.
It was in the real world actually where people move on their own but if it was in the crypto world then the majority of us have in common and that is we buy once the market declines and then we hodl and sell only whenever the pump comes. It's always better to depend our actions according to the market than keep on doing the same thing or strategy so that we can get the best value for our money.

Nowadays I think altcoins are doing better but as you said your goal is for long term so it's still fine to continue buying while for those who are looking for short term gains, I think they are more on the selling side right now, than in buying.

My plan is mainly to wait and watch Bitcoin's price movements. Anything under 25k is nothing for altcoin holders like me. If Bitcoin can hit above 30k I will be buying Avax and Solana mainly as these are my favourite explosive type of alternative coins. I like to use them both. I also follow gem called Aleph Zero. They are still at building phase in my opinion. They will surely hit Binance listing in a year.

My hope is of course the market can rise again, I lost more than $ 3500 since the price of ETH, Matic, BNB and some significant drop coins in 2022, I hope the Rising Market and My Assets can return to the end of 2021.

unfortunately, you bought them at a high price, but since all 3 coins are good coins in the market,  there is no need for you to worry about the price too much

once the market recovers one thing is for sure these 3 coins will rise again and potentially hit new ath so if you want to be profitable keep holding until then

for whales, seasoned investors, the bear market is an opportunity to get rich, they will shop during the bear season and hold until the bull season arrives,
so you absolutely do not sell your property during bear season for any reason, hold all you can, do what rich people do, you will become like them

The market is always good, because whether it is bullish or bearish there'll be price variation which can be used as a way to increase the holding. Maybe the decline in the market could've decreased the portfolio weightage, but in the long run this will be very high. Patience during the bear market will let the user enjoy when market turns bullish. As mentioned trying to accumulate good number of low price coins is a good choice and a specific time period needs to be set to allow the investment to grow.

A very good method to use, very appropriate in this 2022 is to buy as many good Altcoins as possible and hold them until the time will be right to resell them, we all see that the market developments from the past few months are still on the line the same, in the sense that it is not too bullrun and not too bearish.

As long as you hold there is no loss, but very few does it. According to me this year is going to be hard for market prediction, somehow maintaining the portfolio is the right measure that one can take in such market situation.

Yes, we here don't really know what will happen in the crypto market in 2023. But if you are going to speculate about the future of cryptocurrencies one thing we need to mitigate is making sure that our investments are taken into account.

I will be optimistic in the crypto market this year by saying that the market can overcome the downtrend and enter new highs later.

I hope that by 2022, the crypto winter will end, many alts will rise very high and new tokens will appear. The cryptosphere is here to stay and it is impossible to destroy it.

Market is definitely going down so our plan should be to take entry at very low label because it can gives us big profit in future. Many altocoins going down and hoping to grab more in my portfolio to minimize risk factors of lossing money. 2022 is not a great year in crypto so far but learning from this we should make next year a better time in market.

just in MEXC global? will being live in mainnet is not an assurance of the project to made its way to x100 and also it is hard to believe that there are normal way of this to happen.

It would be helpful if you could provide more evidence than your baseless claims, especially an account that only has a newbie rank. One more thing I also want to tell you that Mex is an exchange that specializes in listing junk tokens in large quantities on a daily basis, being listed on Mex is not enough to guarantee that POINT is a potential token. It would be great if POINT is listed on binance and then I will review your statement and I will seriously analyze it with you.

Actually what is currently being held is a potential altcoin, if there is a significant decline I think this is reasonable considering the market is in a bearish condition. don't panic sell, instead we can buy back at the current situation so it will be easier later to get a bigger profit. as long as what we hold is a trusted altcoin as mentioned above which has little risk, then we must remain optimistic in the future that the market will come back again and even break higher

Having that positive point of views will allow you to keep holding and to keep on shopping while the market still in red, with those for sale assets which you can be bought for much cheaper compared from the last year bull run, if you do believe that the market will bounce back and will bring you good amount of benefits, it's worth the wait right?

Not a financial advice though, but as long as you are doing your DYOR and you are aiming to sort what potential assets are good for long-term hold then waiting time will be fruitful, it's just need another market bull run to bring good results with your investment.

+ The crypto market continues to grow and peaks in 2022 with a total capital of 5.5T;
+ Then we will see the fall of the whole market and winter will come;
+ BTC price may then go back to MA 200W at 25-30K, but I think it will only come in 2023 and not in 2022

We are approaching the end of the year and the market has dropped a lot from the beginning of the year so far. Other than holding and continuing to accumulate low priced coins, I don't see any better option than the current situation. Let's focus on bitcoin and top coins, every time the market goes down, try to accumulate more instead of panic selling. The bear market will be very risky but also a rare opportunity to build for the future so we should take advantage if we want to be profitable in the future.

Indeed, there is not much we can do in a bear market situation which has not ended near the end of the year. I agree we have to look at
the positive side of the current bear market, where the majority of coins are experiencing a decline. So give us the opportunity to buy at
a cheap price and we don't waste this opportunity. But that doesn't mean all coins are safe to buy, we have to make sure to buy coins that
are worth buying. If we feel that our research and analysis skills are not good, we just focus on collecting top coins that are proven safe
to buy in bear market situations. So my plan for 2022 which is coming to an end in a few months is focused on collecting potential coins,
especially top coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum are priorities that I have to buy in a bear market situation. Because besides the price is now cheap,
buying Bitcoin and Ethereum can give me a big profit if I can hold until the bull market comes.

My plans is depend on the present market condition for now i saw the market is in a bear status which means good for collecting of tokens or holding a hood tokens which is very low price at this present time, it means that we have a big opportunity to earn when the markets recovers from dip, because i believe that the tokens that are affected on dip is the token that can be affected or rise also during bull season, there is no other plan for me than just holding and be patience for good.

Collecting top coins like Btc, eth and bnb is the right way to avoid us from big losses.Because in addition to having a price that continues to increase in the long run, the top Coins have a good team and management. So it is difficult to experience the destruction caused by the developers
By looking at the current conditions, of course investing in the top coins as you mentioned is a wise decision,
it is very important to minimize risk and by investing in coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum or BNB it is much safer,
But again, everyone has their own decision

Having that positive point of views will allow you to keep holding and to keep on shopping while the market still in red, with those for sale assets which you can be bought for much cheaper compared from the last year bull run, if you do believe that the market will bounce back and will bring you good amount of benefits, it's worth the wait right?

Not a financial advice though, but as long as you are doing your DYOR and you are aiming to sort what potential assets are good for long-term hold then waiting time will be fruitful, it's just need another market bull run to bring good results with your investment.
He is pessimistic but I think he isn't quitting. He will still buy coins especially if the dip continues and the new bottom is achieved in the upcoming days, weeks or even months. Sometimes it's better to be realistic, and accept the fact the market is not going to be healthy yet because the situation outside is still difficult. Faking yourself and thinking about the positive thoughts like the bull run, can only disappoint you more if you found out that they didn't come after a long time of waiting.

Bull run isn't the only way here anyway to earn a profit but we can also make use of the fluctuations to sell when the price have increased a little.

Just as NFTs have become more than just pictures over time, so metaverses have become more than just games. Like, there's already entire communities being built in DREEM, and God knows what it will all come to in, let’s say, a year.

With 2021 ending with a 150% increase in total crypto market capitalization, it can be said that we have seen tremendous growth. Congratulations to those investors who benefited from the crypto market in 2021.

In my opinion, long-term investment is considered more profitable, it has proved to be favorable for me. In 2022 I am going to repeat the same sequence.

Yes! Long term strategy is the best to get optimum profit but in bear market we need to accumulate Bitcoin which is available at very attractive price now by using Dollar cost average) strategy. As far as 2022 plans are concerned, unfortunately they failed to make good returns on crypto investment due to money tightening policy of FED to control rising inflation.

2023 is likely to be better for all financial markets including crypto  as FED is likely to end its current money tightening policy very soon.

I believe Ethereum, WEB3 coins and NFT market will perform better in coming month.

We're in the bear market and I've done already bought a few altcoins that I thought were already on the dip. But thanks to FTX and Binance, it seems that it's not yet the dip for the altcoins that I've bought because it keeps on dipping.
If it's not for them, I guess it's really on the actual dip but it wasn't that. And not just that, there are many other coins that I'm eyeing to have on this bear market until the end of this year.

They just created more opportunity to accumulate for the long term but sadly, there isn't much funds available to take advantage of this situation, this development came unexpectedly because nobody ever imagine we seeing a flight between both exchange, they seems to be just friends few weeks ago then suddenly we see all the tweets from both CEO and Binance taking a low blow by dumping their holdings of FTT. I have already achieved my accumulation goal for 2022 so I'll just wait and not invest new money now. We mightn't have heard it all in this fight.
FTX could retaliate and try making binance pay for what they have done because this action has made all SBF effort to be a waste. After spending years building and your competitor just destroyed you with few tweets, that must be very painful.

True, the fight between two big exchanges has created huge opportunity for long term investors to accumulate Bitcoin at such a low price but this fight should come to an end which has given enough damage to crypto market which was struggling to come out from bearish phase. I think Binance CEO CZ will wait for FTT token to crash further before he acquires FTX.

Most of us are in the same situation in that we've got not that much funds to start investing in the current situation of the market. But those that have got enough and been prepared and saw this happening.
They won't just let it slide it away and miss this time of investing because that's how it should go, they're going to buy as much assets that they can while they can before the market turnovers back to what it used to be and at the top of $20k for bitcoin.

I don't think CZ should acquire FTX, that'll be bad business for Binance. People have already lost faith in FTX and those still having funds over there will withdraw them immediately the window is open. CZ will just lose more money to maintain the site and keeping the exchange running. Also is never a good business when you're competing against yourself. You should always have someone you're trying to be aheayofd or better than.
We have investors that didn't like binance and move over to FTX, Binance coming to acquire FTX will just drive them away and make it hard for the previous partner of the exchange to keep their partnership since the exchange is now own by a non US citizen.

Maybe you guys didn't do a DCA? Or you try to follow it but you didn't utilize it well in which you spend in bigger percentage but if only you budget your capital well then you will be able to accumulate more right after every dip but do you guys didn't have a job or some source of income? That should aid you to buy more coins and you can also try to get a loan because this can be the last time that we will see the prices dipping and after this, the real bull run is now going to occur.

The bears are here for some months so if you don't feel like buying now, that can be a sign that you already got enough. That should already give you great returns once selling opportunity comes.

All the people saying  hold it will go to 100k next year are the same people that said it would hit 500k when it was at 60 everyone thinks there a expert when in reality no one knows what's really going to happen its a gamble. Always invest those which you can afford to lose.

Even if btc won't go to $100k or $500k, hodling is always the best policy in here. We are now happy if btc return to $60k again as that will give us a good amount of profits already. You hate those who think btc will reach $500k but I bet you are also too optimistic last time, by the time you saw btc rise fast. Just admit it.

It's normal that they are lowering their expectations now because they also saw that the price is now low but they will increase it again once the price shoots up. They didn't say that they are experts but they are just predicting naturally with all of their heart but there are famous personalities who has a background in financial markets, and we call them experts.

I plan to look for opportunities to buy more BTC and ETH in the last two months of this year. If I can come across a good copycat project, I can invest a little.

I think we have to start being realistic and don't have high expectations so as not to be disappointed,
the crypto market is really unpredictable and even if we have done some analysis and research it is not a guarantee either,
we'll see what happens next

Precisely, don't make that kind of expectation if you are not willing to wait for much longer time frame, we all know that there's still a lot of time that we will see the market to its bull season and we will see new ATH but without that kind of mindsets, you will be shaken by every situation that may happen along the way, better to be realistic and start planning your investment either with short ride or make this as your retirement assets.

All will be depend on how you will do your research and how will you support any project that you choose for your investment.

If you dont have the patience - then dont expect for bull run or recovery
If you dont have that trust - then dont hold for long term

Plans could really be different to each other since we do have different targets or goals in life then decisions will really vary.
Some had already anticipated that this 2022 would be good but it turns out that it is really not that on what we are expecting.
Well, market is truly unpredictable and there's no way that you could really be able to know on whats ahead.

It's not basically a gamble but we have more of gamblers invested in the market than actual investors which is why the market is very volatile. Investors are not short term minded as they invest for the future but most individual wanting the quick gains and when they don't see it they start panicking are gamblers hoping to get rich quick from investing in cryptocurency. While cryptocurrency does offer such opportunity still it must come with a price and those not patient enough pays those price.
Cryptocurrency market just like other financial market has two phases which are the bull and bear season. currently we're in the bear season as such price of cryptocurency are meant to dump to create opportunity for accumulating coins for the bull season which will surely come as well. Price of Bitcoin would trade above those prices you said in the future but not today.

In 2021 the market was good and enhanced in price but in 2022 the market was very harsh it was not according to the hopes but it was such a bad year that lots of people loss their greater part of money. Now the market is very well and it will go more successful in recent year.

The market fluctuates there is no surety that what will be the price in coming week or month, sometime a person think that now the price is affordable and it will give you profit but certainly it goes in dump so I want to say that prediction of market is somewhat impossible.

Those who wait and hold their coins will be increasing in worth but those who have sell at dump market will be in big trouble because they have not gain anything from the trading. At dump market waiting and holding is consider the key for getting successful outcomes.

A bear market is normal and is expected to occur right after the bull run but indeed that the bear that we had in 2022 is a bit harsh because it lasted for almost a year and I think even up to this date, it's effects are still there but the market is trying one more time to recover. Those who expect for more pumps last time are only greedy because $69k for BTC is already too much and it can be one of the reason on why many of them have lost but the rest have just invested on a wrong project.

I hope they learned their lesson now and create a better plan this year. On 2022 most of our plans might be to stocked up more coins. Congrats for those who did it. We are now close from getting our reward.
