The recent market crash has been a clear example that there are lots of projects that will not be sustainable over time, on the other hand some crypto projects have risen over this difficult time. One Ring  was released on Thorstarter  last week during this chaos and has experienced a 3X already, while having ongoing development. Which are your crypto picks during this crash?

Ring achieved such roi caused by it has been getting huge hype from the investors. im thinking about this time so many undervalued token in the market. i would not be surprised that if a project that is being released from ido got such roi. there are so many projects released from ido got such ROI or even bigger. I have been picking up some good project such as web 3.0 and metaverse project.

The question is, are they going to be sustainable or simply another pump and dump coin in a bear market?

And as you have said, we are in the bear market and many are going to die in this cycle. And only those who are solid, who had a real use case in any field are going to survived and those market movers, like ETH and BNB will remain on top. Even if you see some new projects given many returns, it does not mean that they are good projects. Sometimes the projects pumps because of the hype but as soon as the hype is over its dumps badly making a lot of money loss for the customers.
If you want to invest in a crashing market, better make enteries in the coins which are more trusted ones lithe eth, ada, dot, bnb etc.
Investment is new coins can be profitable too but the risk is also bigger in them.

Market crash way due to someone selling their coins. It does not directly indicate a certain project to be bad. But you can relate and see how the bear trend affects certain projects and use this as a point to choose a coin for investing. However this is a very risky move. It is better to depend on time-tested metrics and not just new coins.

Again, not a good metric to rely on. Some pump and dump schemes are always going on and everyday you will see a certain never-heard-of coin going for 400% gains on the daily gainers chart on coinmarketcap. It does not mean that it is a good investment. It is a pump and dump and it will again go back to the never-heard-of-it domain again.

how much Roi generated totally depend with the hype. i cant deny the fact that if a project that gets a big hype and it will be making a lot of money for its investors. you can also take a look ay polkastarter and you will be seeing how many people make from ido on polka. even during the bearish market and people are still able making huge amounts of money in a short time. that proves that basically the bearish market was not affecting the hype of ido and ico as long as these are hyped project

Indeed, many projects were forced to stop because of the current bear market situation. Only projects that have strong fundamentals are able to survive because they already have a lot of funds and strong community , the project platform is already real can be used. Better now to net the top 100 tokens by taking advantage of the bear market.

Projects stay if it's worth it, and the developers around them focus on bringing value to the project.

What current market situation? Any project that failed to launch because of market situation already knew they will fail, they have no confidence in what they do, many projects came into this space in 2018 and they survived the bear market, this is the type of projects worth investing money on

I don't have any info on OneRing project but if the project is backed by known crypto investors like VC or devs are public and has good reputation with solid usecase then this result is possible even in a bear market condition. I also known some projects in XLM that offered some auction past few days and already x2 but this result is not always like this just select the best and dyor always.  

We were already aware that most of the altcoin's which were launched in last 2 years prospered just because of bull run and not due to their offerings as there are a lot of coins which are going to disappear from market now and hype factor created a major role as there was NFT wave, defi wave and metaverse wave we have seen coins gaining over 10x and then eventually dropping down below the ICO price,but some coins which have good roadmap and doesn't depend on bullrun for pump will thrive regardless of bear or bullrun.

We should be partly be blamed for these things wherein we fill out coffers with any coin which we see has pumped without researching just for temporary gain and end up losing much more than that.

It is not easy to pick a coin in this crash because it is a hard situation and all of the coins will potentially increase.
I can only suggest you pick from the top 100 coins and do not pick a new coin or project released because we do not know their future.
If you pick from the top 100 coins list, at least you have a chance to see your investment grow in the next altcoin season and although that season is unpredicted, your chance will still be there.
A new coin will only have a chance if they can show the public how strong their team is and how good their project is.
However, almost all new projects can show that but only time can tell which coin can survive for a long time.

Many projects postpone their TGE to a later date due to the current market situation. The same projects that still decide to enter such a bear market do not meet the expectations of their investors, since instead of 500-800% of the price of the preliminary round of sale, they receive x1,5-3.

Strong team and Devs really on what they can offer crypto users than present market condition, avoid a bad market is like telling the world how weak your project is, every projects struggles in bear market but those who have a long term plan won't be bothered at all.

that's actually hyper project that was getting launched through the popular platform with very small marketcap. that's why such project will be easy to make a few hundreds percents ROI for its early investors. Hyped project can always sustain during the bearish trend caused by it has more support from the buyers rather than sellers.


I would not even be surprised to hear this. So many IDOs launched on the various popular IDO platforms have been getting more than 3x ROI even some was doing more than 10x ROI. You can imagine how much the early investors received during the bearish market. I will pick some undervalued tokens that already listed on exchange site rather than IDO. It's caused by the spot in IDO was getting limisted and it
's not using fair distribution.

I prefer not to take any coins when the market crashes, sometimes panic sells can happen when the market crashes I just monitor so that there is a good signal coming from the telegram channel.

It's not about 3x, 10x or even a 100x, can they maintain that kind of pace when everything goes back to normal? I am sure there will be those who will withdraw and take their profits from any altcoins that is in good shape even in this bear market. Sell it and go back to the cheap coins hanging around.

I have invested in different NFT's and I can see how the early purchasers are the only ones who harvest better than the late ones. Why? Because they cannot sustain the value of the coin and doubts starts revolving.

Definitely, not everything in this market will be able to survive. That's why if you're the type of investor that keeps on looking for those "gem" in your description which is likely the new projects, you're likely to deal with losses eventually if you're too slow with moving your assets from here and there.

I would certainly avoid that type of project. I'll choose to stay and won't explore that much with newer projects, stay with the reputable ones like Ethereum and other classic and usual projects like BNB.

They are the best, scam projects grows higher in number only when the market is in good condition just to lure greedy newbies but projects that come in this space when bear market is on have a greater plan to keep their project alive, they depend on its utility.

Don't use this to judge the project and think it is because of its quality, this happens with some projects, they are able to x2 or more even when the rest of the market is red, when it is time for this token to correct, you will be surprised how dip it will go even when the rest of the market is bullish, there is nothing special with this type of situation.
The strength of a project does not lie on the ability to pump during a bear market but the ability to truly develop into a standard project with serious backing.

During the current crash, most people will take profits on the first release and the rest will fall along with the bearish market movement. so I think it's better when the coin is launched in a bloody market condition then all we need to do is wait and let it fall first, or if you see a rise because it's just listed on the market then it's better to sell and take profits early when pumping occurs.

If you think that the market was crashing in the past few months then you are wrong, wait for the big one that could wipe away majority of the money from the market  :D. I know a few projects that are waiting to release their tokens because they think that the market is not that positive to release the coins at the moment and then there are projects that are throwing things expecting things to be fine.

Personally i would wait for an year and watch the market than investing in anything right now, i made my profit during this rally and it is time for me to rest for a while rather than looking for new project when you are not sure about the direction the market might go in the next two months ;).

It is undeniable that the condition of altcoins is also affected by the recent fall in the price of Bitcoin. Thus, most of the altcoins also experience market crashes and cannot avoid them. Not only new coins but also top altcoins such as ETH and BNB were also affected by the crashed Bitcoin price.

I am not familiar with this new project. For, during this market condition, I will prefer to avoid new projects and prefer to focus on Bitcoin and some of top coins.

During the Crash market I still see coins that are already in the top 10 coinmarketcap because they all already have very large fundamentals and volumes so that their potential will be very accurate for anyone to choose for a profit for me

In the times like this, we have to be more careful in choosing projects.  A project that offers good profits does not mean the project is a good one, so we have to choose and understand the project carefully. Good projects can be seen from the team, concepts, and future plans and that's what I do to select some projects that I think are good to follow. New altcoins will continue to appear in the market and they will be scrambling to survive in the market. Good altcoins will survive in the market and bad ones will be eliminated and become trash coins. Therefore it is important to choose a good project or choose a coin that is already trusted and has good prospects.

Even without a market crash, you will see projects being not sustainable over time. What's more when the market is crashing.

Yes, what you said may be true because projects that are able to survive during the bear period will become stronger during the bull period, this is very precise and accurate evidence for every project that is still being developed gradually by the respective teams.

It looks like you create this thread to promote some token or coin? But actually its normal for new created project to pump up even if bear market is happening since they can create temporay hype. For sure their investor will hype it more especially when they see greenlight but one thing is for sure there once the whales started to cashout their profits you can see them struggle to pump up. This normally happen on this ecosystem and it takes time for them to recover just like other top coins especially when they encounter this season.

Crash or no crash i think altcoin will have their chance. If they are really good in developer and investor and progress, and not only depends on hype, it will survive and get it's own price in market. Just see in a months coin that you mentioned progress and then can decide it is success or not and not only depends on multiply only. But my pick will be the big coins.

Maybe I would pick the best one which is bitcoin, and take some portions of my savings right now. The best signs is already happening, so we must not wait until it's too late our good entry is going to be amazing. Other priorities will be for small gaining assets like for bnb, xrp and other incoming crypto projects.

Of course, it has been reiterated severally that majority of altcoins in the market are more or less pump and dump coins that are only sustainable for the very short term, but investors still like to gamble with such projects despite the grave risks involved, so many of such coins have dumped, and didn't rise again, so many others have shut down their network after getting a considerable number of investors and made away with the funds they were able to accrue. Personally I would not also invest in this 'Ring' coin, all of this new projects fall under pump and dump coins, it could be on the rise now, but I'm afraid sooner rather than later, the 'party' would end abruptly.

Having said that, research is always very important for investors whenever they want to select a coin, do not invest on the basis of ones recommendation, or solely cause a coin is pumping, that's why I prefer just Bitcoin, and maybe ethereum, cause I believe in their networks, and they are basically projects for the long term future.

Bitcoin always deserves to be the choice of many people and BNB and several other Altcoins under it are also very worthy to be chosen because when Bitcoin starts to move past $40K again, the Altcoins will also always move slowly towards a better price.

Theres a lot of crypto that crashes and never recover. During a crash youll wanting to invest with some high volume token or should I say network tokens cause these are the projects that surely will be alive or survive the market crash. Anyway theres a lot of way on how to choose those projects and probably are look into market to see if those are still there. Strong project listed on different market and their volume is high.

What is wrong with altcoins being released during a market crash? If the project is good and has potential, then it wouldn't matter when the project was released. People will buy if they think it is worth investing in those projects.

Only shitcoins and scam projects will not be "sustainable" over time. They will eventually die and be abandoned when the bear market comes.

It also largely depends on the experience and correct actions of the team of this project. Experiencing a 3X increase with the coin you mentioned even though market conditions are experiencing a decline in my opinion is a natural thing to happen, because usually every time a new project is released on the market, of course there will be a significant price increase, but after holding on for a while at that price but then the price will definitely drop again to the lowest price, so whenever there is a decline I will only prefer altcoins that have strong fundamentals to invest in.

for me it's always good to buy a coins that already have good history especially thus genuine project that really skyrocketed during the previous run wherein along with trusted projects. because surely they all still have potential when market becomes fine again. Not new coins because it's quite skeptical and you don't know what will be the results afterwards. So in my personal opinion its always good to rely which project you can really makes good return after all.

the most relevant choice in my opinion is only the top coins. unsustainable projects are very dependent on them in dealing with the situation that occurs. from there a management team is needed in carrying out a project.

The altcoin will be an alternative to make a profit so you should not forget to buy bitcoin during the market crash. The top 100 can be another list for you to search for the other altcoins you can buy but not many altcoins can survive in the next downtrend because some of the altcoins can still get down. It's just a strategy from the project team and maybe they are still hesitant to launch a new project under current conditions, even though in general market conditions are starting to improve, although not on a large scale.

CRO. Crypto.com coin is also one that sustained their value even when the big bear came.
The lowest that I saw was $0.39 and now it's back to $0.45 which is my buying price if I remember correctly. My mistake was forgetting to buy more when the crash happened. It didn't occur to me as I was busy checking the Bitcoin movement and didn't realize CRO was also hit by the impact.
Although, it is still at my buying rate/level and I think the future is still bright to gain value so I may add more soon.

Bear market is a bad time for scam projects because they reveal their aims pretty fast, when market is bad we have less newbies willing to take risks on new projects anyways I just like projects that are bold enough to release their project in a bad market they always have long term dreams.

Some even take advantage of the current movies trends and make a coin out of it. Some even make a coin out of the name of a certain celebrity in Twitter.
It's really really an absurd phenomenon, I know.

That is because new projects are recently promoted heavily to let other know about that project and makes the price rise despite of the bear situation but your right that this is only temporary especially if the project is not that solid enough for investors to have a reason to stay and keep supporting the project for better or for worst.

There is a big risk so if I were them I will not be tempted of the short term potential of a new project but ill take my risk instead investing on the solid coins during their dump and patiently wait for the right time to harvest my gains. Let new projects show their worth first and if they perform good for a such a long time, that is the time we can consider them.

 The main problem is almost always the fear of the drop. There are so many projects with airdrop that we are talking about people not having the chance to sell their tokens before the airdrop winners. There are also locked periods where people would not be able to sell all of their coins and they get unlocked part by part every month which creates a limitation for real investors. So when you give airdrop winners right away, and real investors in installments, that will obviously result with a bad situation for you. Even if you end up with making a lot of money and selling all your tokens in IDO, that doesn't mean you will stay that way, price will usually drop very quickly.

The Bear Market goes through a difficult time for all projects, but even in those bad times when projects continue their development, the community values ​​their work. The main reason why people do not trust XRP is because of the centralization. Ripple controls it, and I understand BNB and SOL is controlled by a team as well, which is why I do not like SOL too, considering how they have done all the centralization BS recently, it is good enough reason to stay away from it.

However, BNB is a bit different from that, Binance itself has hundreds of billions of dollars in their accounts, people all deposited that much money there, if they ever want to steal something, BNB wouldn't be the first thing they would do. This is why if we can trust them with all of our coins, then we can trust them with their own coins as well.

You must not be surprised with it. It's caused by mostly people here are taking the safest position with the lowest risk as their choice but they didn't even know what potential that owned by the new token that can give us like 5x ROI or even more.

No problem, as long as it was launched through trusted IDO platform and it can be trusted. Im also actively investing in the polkastarter. So many tokens from IDO already entered into the top 100 of CMC or top 200. People just don't even understand if what already entered or placed into the top 10 CMC was coming from the ICOs. ADA, SOL, BNB, Ethereum and many more.

besides being low risk, choosing the top coin also has other positives such as it will be a matter of pride that we have a good list of crypto assets. choosing a new coin will get a high risk. then it is not much different from a bet, if you are lucky you will get a double profit.

It is the safer and easier decision but also the most stress-tested and time-tested method. Investing in Bitcoin a few years back, in this current bearish trend which is being recovered, you are still in a profit and that is a number that even stock markets will not give you in the last 10years. The good thing for scammers is that even when there are people like us advising newbies to stay away from newly launched projects and hyped items, some newbies will always go for them thinking that we are trying to stop them from getting rich or part of a conspiracy - one needs to keep their mind clear of such things when trading, otherwise they will lose, just like any average trader.

It is rarely to find a good project that can still increasing while the market is crashing but you mentioned a project that increased 3 times which is not bad but I don't think if it can survive for long because that project is new.. This market crash I prefer to invest in the top coins because they are trusted and still can give you profits   so it is good to buy now.

All project teams do try to do very good things for their projects, but if the release is in inappropriate conditions, I think each team will also have to work hard to make the project stronger in the market later.
