Title: What if I solved a block on a non solo pool
Post by: 5W-KILO on February 06, 2022, 05:49:45 AM
What happens if i solve a block on a pool that is not solo pool? Will I still get paid for the block that my miner solved? I'm using flexpool between

if is not a solo pool then the reward will be shared with all miners in the pool, if is a solo pool then you will get the rewards less the percentage fee the pool charges.

Don't do solo mining unless you have a big gigahash farm, I know how tempting it is to solve a block and take the whole reward for yourself but mining difficulty won't spare anyone this days that's why miners must work together to solve blocks, stick with pool mining.

If it's not a solo pool, the reward of block will be shared, exactly like a pool works  :D

If you don't found a single block, another miner will, and it's the same, the reward will be shared with you and another miners

See the logic here? If, like you said, get paid for the block, how others can benefit for a share rewards pool?

There used to be pools that gave a bonus to the block finder but that meant less for everyone else.
I'm not aware of any pools that still do this.

The reward will still be shared among all miners but the miner that solve the block will get higher percentage of the solved block I've seen this happened on flexpool before.

If you find a block on a pool then you get the entire block reward divided by all the shares you and other miners sent to that pool. Hence why it’s called pool mining.

Also don’t fall for any scam miner software which says that if you are mining at a pool and find a block it will send it directly to the network instead of the pool and you get full block reward. This is not possible. Because there is a header that is marked to the pool and if you send a winning nonce directly to the network the pool will still get credit for it.
