There was a Swiss p2p phone "experiment" at some point. There are other things that companies have done (like allowing users to pay a $30 fee to use each others WiFi - I think there was a provision of 10% of the bandwidth for those who opted in so it wasn't noticeable). There is a lot of publicly accessible WiFi networks too (I'm only using the Internet as an example as your phone likely prioritises it for calls and texts as it's more secure - and normally more reliable - than using cell towers). These sorts of "decentralised" systems only work well/are reliable when there are enough devices to carry the signal afaik too. Title: Re: Any Vodafone like crypto project?
