Title: What Is Bounty?
Post by: JrRini on February 10, 2022, 08:39:56 AM
Bounty is a kind of marketing system or marketing through social platforms. To promote a project on a project, you have to remove that project through different social platforms and share it to make the token viral in that project and reach out to everyone.  The new one actually takes its place in the market by introducing it to everyone.

A crypto bounty is a reward obtained from a cryptocurrency or blockchain project, generally in the form of a token or coin of a particular crypto asset. The token, which can also be used for trading, can also be exchanged into fiat currency. However, to get a gift in the form of free tokens or coins, one must perform certain tasks first. The concept is similar to barter, where the company will give a gift to the individual and the individual must complete the task given by the company. The form of duties and the number of rewards that will be given to these users may vary, depending on the policies made by the company.
Basically, crypto bounty is part of a marketing strategy to assist crypto startups in promoting their projects. With crypto bounty, it is expected that there will be many people who know and are interested in investing in a crypto asset project.

Sorry if it's too theoretical 🤭😁. Maybe someone wants to say it?

IMO, I think you make it more complicated Mate, the word bounty is a noun a term for a particular reward in exchange for an accomplishment or a task, But in the crypto industry, it is a kind of a marketing process to promote a particular crypto project in the social media, blogs, and forums, etc. and the cheapest form of crypto marketing for the newly created projects in the market to raise some funds through an ICO, IDO, and IEO.

I think you have a wrong word on this sentence. Why remove it if you're doing a bounty and marketing through social medias?

The new one actually takes its place in the market by introducing it to everyone.
There's always a new bounty that exists.

But people should also remember that not all of them are successful. Many of them aren't even close to success and that's why you need to be good in picking.

What you said is a task that must be done by every participant who joins a project.
Bounties is a program with the aim of promoting the project and each participant will be rewarded in the form of tokens according to the rules provided by the project.

Broadly speaking, a bounty is a gift .But if what you mean here is bounty crypto means marketing a project either on social media or forums by doing certain tasks that must be done within a predetermined time to get a reward in the form of tokens or USD, but sometimes there are also bounties that called a scam because the project does not pay the bounty participants for reasons that are not clear.

... and share it to make the token viral in that project and reach out to everyone.

They run bounty campaign not to make it a viral token and yes to reach out to possible investors. Here's the thing about bounty campaign, most projects that would like to run bounty campaigns are new or startup projects who's coin was not yet listed or still on pre-sale stage where they don't have yet investors or money to fund their marketing and they run bounty campaign and use their own tokens to rewards the users so they would have an initial advertisement or marketing.

Good to know the different definitions of bounty by different users here. The definitions are all correct.

But I want to know if the word "Bounty and also signature campaign " as related to crypto originated from this forum.

There are a lot of ways to receive bounty and not just about marketing the project, some project give their bounty for just a simple share and likes and the other projects are really asking for you to participate on their campaign and help them advertise the project. Bounty is really a big help, I started as a hunter and I'll remain a hunter because this is really profitable at a low minimum cost on some part.

The term bounty is used, for example, to refer to a reward for helping find bugs in software. However, when it comes to bounty on Bitcointalk, it does include a reward for participating in a promotional campaign of some project. A bounty campaign rewards can be obtained by promoting a project, for example by using our profiles on social media platforms, by writing articles or creating a promotional video. So basically it's just a reward for helping with marketing and usually is paid in tokens issued by the project we support.

Bounty is actually a medium of propaganda. This bounty campaign is used to promote. We have seen that the Bounty Campaign is tasked with promoting through various social media. Such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Telegram, Medium, Article, Blog, Video, etc. So complete it is a media marketing system. This campaign seeks out large investors. And invests in projects.

actually, bounty not just a media to promote project of some crypto. Sometimes bug hunter are include in that bounty, just like in "Bounty Hunter" in real life. You have 1 enemy, and then you want to kill him, but you dont want to kill him by yourself so you hire a bounty hunter.

The bounty hunter in this case, they get pay with the token/coin from the project because they help the owner to promote the project.

The thing is everyone which join in this forum already know what is Bounty especially they're visit Altcoin sections.

I think you're not give really accurate explanations on your post, let me add a bit. Bounty is a marketing advertisement trough social media or forum with their own coin/token created out of thin air as the reward and they're looking for investors invest in their project in order become rich. After they got some investors they rug pulled their project and the reward distributed become worthless.

Mostly know Bounty as easy definition of making money here in forum. Yes Im pretty sure 80% of new joiners here are probably goal is to earn from bounty. This is a field where money does exist if you knew how to select and pick a good campaign. However, it doesnt mean also that you are gonna earn from it on doing marketing and promotional activity since some of these projects pose to be scam if your not careful. So better to learn how to identify these good projects by heavy due diligence and deep research.

Simply put, it is a program that projects can create to spread the project to more people. And will be paid according to the coin/token from that project. Perhaps now bounties no longer bring good returns than they used to, but it has always been an effective approach when it comes to project-user interaction.

A few years ago, you could make good money on this when it was a big boom. Now, this is a certain payment for your work on promoting projects in social networks, creating content, and so on. Everyone has become smarter and the pay leaves much to be desired. Yes, and you can unknowingly promote an initially bad project, the team of which has everything planned initially for one goal to fill their pockets in any way. Now there is still an ambassador theme, where everything takes place directly without a forum. The meaning is the same, content and testnets, but the principle is the same, promotion. So to find a promising project, you have to try.

The marketing system is not limited in the age of technology, it was created to make it easier for people to market anything related to the project, but not all countries reach the marketing done here, except using social media as a tool to reach this marketing, try to pay attention to what people see from signature campaign, not even all countries actively follow this platform, but there are other steps that can achieve the desired results from this marketing, technology, sophistication and the internet system is a network that really supports all of this running.

Well if you are a project manager than definetly i must say ,It is the best short way to Promote and hype your project, not only these it will also increase your community members and with such high demand your project is ready to fly On the other hand if you are BOUNTY Hunter then it is also a win-win situation , doing some little post you can earn great but Remember these is not the time of 2017 where every campaign pay you It is better to do your own Research before joining Any Campaign that's my Suggestion

In simple terms, the definition of a bounty is a gift offered by the project management group as an incentive for people who are willing to promote their project to be more known among the public and usually the prizes they give are in the form of BTC, USD or the project's coin in return.
Bounty campaign's are different from a signature campaign. They are usually located on the altcoins section and obviously they will pay tokens there. During the hype of stable coins and bnb, many bounty campaigns have then learned to use them and it was also demanded by the bounty hunter's because they can easily sold it once they receive them.

The chance of a bounty hunters being scammed is now lesser if they will receive those coins and not the projects tokens. Choosing an experienced bounty manager is also a must for the success of the bounty hunters and also the success the project's because they know well what they are doing.

You tell me, there's that user in B&H that I replied regarding that s/he just wants to earn from SCs and writing articles. I stopped visiting Bounties section after I just did a "dip" of an attempt in one of the airdrops there and it tried to phish me.
Pretty sure that many of those 80%, you're even mentioning don't even care about the forum at all.

Bounty are means in which project advertise to the community to help create more awareness about their projects. This promoters receive tokens as compensation for their works. Participants can easily exchange their tokens to fiat when they get listed on exchange but usually that is the most challenge to the bounty industry.
They do not get listed on exchange for hunters to be able to sell and get rewarded for their work down. Bounties are slowly becoming unproductive and will soon stop been active.

It's not always new projects that take their place, there are also many projects that are just getting started but are always dim and lack the spotlight.
Some bounties that are managed by people who are experts in their fields usually have good highlights and reach, for example bounties that are managed by Bounty Detective.

Bounty is a program from a new project where all members here can follow it depending on the rules determined by the project to get paid. A bounty has its own rules where each member must follow these rules to get paid. In fact, the bounty is profitable if we can choose a really good project to follow, but lately good projects are quite difficult to come by and even though there are provisions it is also difficult. that's why a good project is targeted by many people and not everyone passes the terms of the project. but don't worry, there are still other bounties that can be followed if we can choose them carefully.

Bounty has been a great way to earn some free money, a lot of bounty hunters becomes successful because of so many projects who are willing to give money in return or something. This can be a contest, a marketing campaign or just a free airdrop for doing nothing. Hoping that bounty will last forever as long as cryptomarket is here.

At the beginning of the appearance of the bounty, many people benefited greatly from this program, but the journey until now has decreased because of the results of the bounty prize, many projects are no longer as successful as in 2017-2018, even if compared to now, there is quite a difference between now and the previous year, there is a slight setback in my opinion the bounty program now, when compared to 2017-2018, I don't know what influenced the difference I also don't know.

2017-2018 I think it's a difficult year for hunters where there are many scam projects, unpaid and many more dilemmas from bounty
it's true that the bounty is a marketer system or whatever the point is freelance workers to market crypto projects
but keep in mind that being a hunter is not as beautiful as imagined with great and maximum results, everything takes a process and many stories about social media fighters

After that when the campaign is over, we will also get the tokens that have been allocated for the bounty, I work in the bounty, and it is very profitable even though there is no protection agency here, but the advantage to earn money with just easy tasks is a good thing.

2019 onwards has been bad for bounty hunters. 2017-18 were the good days I am not sure which bounty project you had worked at that time but most project that I worked helped me in making good money.

There are absolutely very less bounties now days that can help you in earning a three figure amount. It is absolutely a waste of time now.

Bounty is pretty similar to airdrop but in airdrop, you will be getting a few tokens by doing a few easy tasks but this is different in the bounty when you are promoting the project, and sometimes the payment is totally random and this depends on the rate of the token. When you are getting paid with token and the price will be determined by the market and it can't be dictated. Bounty can also be considered as a marketing effort by the team. As you can see that so many people are joining in the bounty with the target to promote the project to get more adoption and investors. It's the same like you are working with the company indirectly through bounty manager as a mediator between hunters and the team.

Bounty is an effective way of promoting and advertising different projects on different platforms. It also offers an opportunity for lots of participants. Getting paid by doing the tasks to promote a good site is too fulfilling especially if you're promoting and carrying the name of a reputable site.

just think of bounty as an advertisement that gives you shares of their company stocks, basically if the company is succeed the reward that are in form of company stocks could be either having low value and high value in the future.
and in the case of cryptocurrencies bounty you are getting rewarded with shares and stakes of certain allocation of the cryptocurrencies itself that was promised.
in the past there is something like airdrops, and it could be said that bounty is a more marketing focused version of an airdrops that are more focused in term of marketing and didn’t just giving away certain allocations of the altcoins and have zero feedbacks.

First time when bounty launching I active here not as bounty participants but looking for many good project promote with bounty campaign, last four years ago many ICO project promoting trough bounty campaign and almost success when listing on market. I think this why make me very interested with bounty project not as participants always but some time I join on ICO project, but right now still have few ICO promote with bounty campaign after several project not really success get hard cap for coin sale. But still worth for participants joining bounty campaign because have several bounty manager looks trusted and handle good bounty project.
