Title: LightningEscrow Video Demo - Beta V1
Post by: TristanBietsch on February 22, 2022, 07:59:46 PM
Hey everyone, for the past 5 months we have been working on LightningEscrow - A fast, secure, and affordable escrow service using the lightning network; we are non-custodial and open source.
Escrow.com takes 3-5 days to process a transaction and has a minimum 3.5% fee + other hidden fees. LightningEscrow takes only 3-5 seconds to process, with a 1% flat fee.

The version we show in this demo is still in beta, however we plan on having a consumer friendly version by Q3 of this year.

Join the wait list at LightningEscrow.io and be sure to tell your friends!  ;D ;D

LightningEscrow takes only 3-5 seconds to process,
Am I correct in assuming that it's an automated escrow service or you were just referring to the lightning part? Based on its "current steps (https://ghostarchive.org/archive/rG3BC)", it seems that your platform doesn't have a way to handle disputes!

The version we show in this demo is still in beta,
Looks like you forgot to include the link to the demo in question.

Since we're talking about LN (which usually used for micro-transaction),
1. Do you have minimum/maximum amount of satoshi to be held by escrow?
2. How do you handle LN channel duration when delivering physical goods could take long time (up to 1 month)?

As of right of now, it is in beta. There is no way to handle disputes at the time of writing this; we are still working on it.

I also added the demo video link! I did forget, my apologizes
