I feel the first coin that should be in everyone's wallet is bitcoin and ethereum. These coin are the fulcrum of cryptocurrency and as such those who are coming to the market should have a portion of Bitcoin and ethereum. The amount held could be increased upon and when they're other good projects, altcoin could be purchased to earn from market volatility

Certainly, right now there are so many options in the cryptocurrency market...but there are also many risks especially the new projects being introduced in the market. As they are saying, higher risks can mean higher rewards so it depends a lot on your appetite for risks. Look for the people behind any project and make sure they are legitimate enough. As to new projects, look for those involving the metaverse, gamefi and web3 because these areas can be where the coming growth is. And as always, never be attempted to be greedy and join possible scam programs...and there are so many out here enticing us with good returns but you can end up so disappointed and crying.

Invest! Not on any asset or coin but on your knowledge. Read a lot about this industry, the Blockchains, how they work, their purpose and uses, security, how to keep your funds(assets) safe, and so much more. You can simply search it or find a mentor a paid one or a friend. If not possible, free stuff are available all over the internet, you just have to put effort in searching for the information you need. In this industry, the amount of effort and time you put into gaining knowledge will determine what your future will be in this industry so please prioritize knowledge along with low cost experiences first. I would've really appreciated if someone has told me this in the past and so I tell you this now. Good luck and I hope this helps.

I think you will be investing and not trading so holding it for a while? I think they should familiarize first what is cryptocurrency and how it works, there's a lot of good articles online and its free and when you or your friend is familiar with it, you can check the top 10 or 20 of the coinmarketcap since those coins are good for long term investments and think what will happened to that coin after 5-10 years (that's how I choose what to buy coins for long term).

3 years is already a long time for you to be experienced in this market. But it's good that you're honest for telling that you're confused and even you're that long, you may have not experienced that much in the market.
So, just tell your friend that he should look at the top coins like bitcoin. That suggestion will never be wrong. It's always the priority cryptocurrency to invest specially to the newbies.

If you are in the cryptocurrency investment for 3 years then its actually enough for you to understand how the investment works here, more the risks if the coin is literally new and old coin is good for long term. Choosing coins based on marketcap value might works but is should not be your first ever reason, you need to look at the real life usage of the coin.

Explain the beginning of bitcoin first, blockchain, then the basis of cryptocurrency, the most important thing is the basis before entering to make a profit here, if he knows basically he can choose where he goes to get a profit, because here there are many ways to make a profit.

Three years in the cryptocurrency space is enough time to be acquainted with the working of the industry. I feel for a newbie in the cryptocurrency space, one should understand how a cryptocurrency wallet works and the difference in wallet addresses based on the blockchain and how to detect different wallet. There are several blockchain, so the majorly used ones should be the focus. It may be impossible to Learn everything in a course, but the more one stays in the space, the more knowledge is acquired.

Why, do you have money to invest in a lot of coins, creating a coin is open-sourced and we are in a decentralized environment so even an amateur coder can create one, do you know that for 1 Waves that's less than $10 you can create your own token, the one advice that I can give you is to research and check what the coin is contributing to the technology, and it's impact to the community, you do this and you will end up to the top coins in the market like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Polkadot.

It is a matter of theory and practice when we are exposed to and hear a lot about this market, but when we experience it, the factors will directly affect us and what to do. It is to stand firm. And to have a good perspective, you need to have a certain understanding of the field in which you participate. Then you will realize that learning knowledge and putting it into practice requires companionship because it will bring understanding. There are a lot of interesting things in this market, and depending on how you think about it, you'll get different results, so I don't think there's any particular advice on trying it out. Only when you succeed in the same place where you failed, will you know how to make things better.

You can teach him what you know. Maybe you can suggest he buy bitcoin but not use it for trading as that will be too risky for new people. You can suggest he invest in bitcoin and do it continuously for some time. They need to learn by themselves and search for the lesson he wants. That is what I suggest for new people because I do not want to see them lose their money in trading if they do not have any skills. You can also tell him the website to learn and if he wants to trade, you can tell him that he needs to have good control as he will see the price will move fast.

If you are a novice cryptocurrency user or investor the first thing you should do is to familiarize the crypto market, on how it will function and it will behave, second is simple research about the type of project that you want to get on board like the roadmap, team, function, and utilization just be sure that the team is not fake, and if you are already satisfied with the information about the project then you are good to go and ready to participate in ICO, IDO, IEO, etc. But on the other side if you want to hold an existing crypto coin you can tract it in CMC, CoinGecko, etc.

Sometimes it is not easy for beginners to practice, let alone to continue in the world of the crypto trading market.
Because there is a lot of knowledge that we should learn before we start, all of that for us too so that we don't make the wrong decisions when we look forward to buying and selling them.
When people already have knowledge, of course, their opinions differ.
Even though we know that no one is free from mistakes because it is indeed our risk.

I think beginners should start with the basics, namely bitcoin.I understand that today the coinmarket looks like a showcase in a store, but it's better to buy a reputable asset first.Only after that you can look at other assets.

I think it depends on how you judge a project that you want to approach. I used to make money from shitcoin, and then I realized the risk was greater and went to topcoin but not necessarily. It will no longer have the risk, but just reduce it. It will give safety to the investment. That is what I will do. I don't believe in getting rich quick by buying a few coins and then believing it will be x100 in the future. Let's be real now and what are we looking for. I don't want to deceive myself by believing in things that are not transparent.

Then you must know about the basic thing in the crypto just like blockchain, smartcontract and all of things related to the altcoins. this will give you a small insight about what kind of token or coin that you must pick it as your investment consider you are a newbies and why don't you just visit beginner section. this will help you a lot caused by so many newbies are learning various thing sfrom there. You can also dig some informations about the basic knowledged related to theblockchain.

He can buy top 100 CMC as these will be the most promising tokens that can recover as soon as possible once the market will turn to be bullish again. The bad thing is ukraine problem may give another bad impact to the crypto market in the future. This thing must be solved as soon as possible.

There is really no way to start, there are plenty of things that you need to learn and then you need to pick one and learn that way. I do not know what type of learning is the best for you the VARK model in the sense that visual, auditory, reading and writing are the most known methods.

It means you need to first figure out what you are going to do with what type of system you are better at. If you can do that then you could do a lot better, in that sense we could actually end up with you learning something. Do not actually start from just one thing, there is no "one" thing that could be like that, just learn how you could start by feeling better, find the subject that will make you feel hyped.

Not sure three years spending time with cryptocurrency do not know about which potential coin or not, I think just take one year is enough to know about which one potential and special coin have to invest, I think you can recommend with top ten coin global or have good standing on coin market cap like BNB, ETH, XRP and Solana coin. But give good thing for investing trough bitcoin and altcoin have lower price and never ask them keep entry when bitcoin have been on higher. Never become faster when investing on bitcoin trough not get good moment to buy back several altcoin, waiting is better and keep looking when bitcoin really dump to buy back.

First, they need to understand what is crypto, learning the basics is pretty much necessary.

Once they learn the basics, they also have to understand the risk of investing in crypto, it's better this way because we will become more realistic than thinking of the profit alone which is the mistakes of some investors, and because they have that kind of mentality, they will easily panic every time theirs a dump and panic buying when it's pumping but with no plan to sell the coins at the right time.

The first thing to do is to do a series of research about how cryptocurrency works as a currency and as an investment. A beginner should also know the risks of crypto investment. Next is having enough knowledge about the potential of the coin of their choice so they would know what to expect in the future. If a newbie is well knowledgable about crypto, he would also be able to handle his emotions towards it.

I do not even think that top 10 is the key here. Its just about coins and tokens that have a future prospect. Like for example pancakeswap is not in anywhere near the top and yet I still would list that higher than a few of top 10s, think of the difference. The reality is that top 100 is cool, but you could find like 30 or so good projects in the top 100, the other 70 looks like they could be out of top 10 in 10 years. Why would I end up coins that are out of top 100 in 10 years? But I believe there are a good amount of them that will be in top 100 even after 10 years and those are the onest that you should invest.

Here is my advice:
  • There is a saying in crypto, "don't invest money that you are not willing to lose". This is the most important rule. Consider any money you put into crypto as already lost and that it went up in smoke.
  • The second most important rule is to remove all emotion from your decisions. A lot of what happens in crypto is based on hype and fomo and if you get caught in that you will lose your money with 90% certainty
  • In the end a lot of coins and tokens are musical chairs - it is fun to take part while the music plays, just make sure you are not the one without the chair when the music stops. This is called holding a bag
  • Read this forum a lot - there are many gems of threads that will teach you stuff
  • Read this forum a lot - but don't believe everything you read
  • If you don't want to invest time to learn stuff of how crypto works and rather want to take short cuts, then play it safe and buy Bitcoin. Even in this sentence though "safe" is a relative word

the best solution is read learn and study as much as you can about what is a crypto coin and why bitcoin has some monopole on that market. There are several explanations and reasons because bitcoin has this position on the market.
I would not focus too much in other coins (altcoins) because if you have an extraordinary event probably you cant sell for the value you want.
as I have pointed out several times if you take in count coins from ICO mania it was not easy making money because (summarily):
At the end, after 3 years, a total of 67% of coins suggested realized 0 or negative profit!

^ You are in 3 years in crypto but yet you still confused?
Altcoins are always separated from BTC which is BTC should be your main investment like putting allocation of 70% while altcoins are 30%. There are too many altcoins that are very risky to invest in, you should be careful on this and only invest of what you can afford. Try to focus on BTC and I think this is a lower risk than the altcoins investment.

Maybe in those 3 years, she's not really allotting more time to crypto. Some really knows bitcoin a long time ago and yet, they are still in grasp how to transact crypto. Because in those years, they haven't find time to learn more about the market. Maybe they just know that bitcoin and other alts exist but no serious investments were made. In this forum, the Beginners & Help board - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=39.0 is a very good one to start with if you want to educate yourself with basics in crypto.

There's no standard guide or pathways for newcomers in crypto to follow but I do think that at the fundamental level, the first step would be to learn about Bitcoin and blockchain. It doesn't necessarily need to be about how they both work in the technical level. The basics are good to go before starting to learn about where and how they wanted to actively participate in the space either as a trader, investor, or someone who provides services or possibly, Something else.

I don't know what you are doing with that 3 years in crypto coz I think for that long in the crypto world someone will expect you to better and a knowledgeable person. I suggest telling your friend not to rely on you if you have difficulties in telling which coins are good for investment, you'd rather tell him to do the research personally as well.

What makes you confused is that you are not sure about yourself as well. I might be wrong but to assume that you are not doing well in your previous investment and you are in doubts now if your friend will fail he will turn you back and blame you.

Tell your friends, buy some bitcoin and hold, then start learning about the crypto market. You have been in the market for 3 years, also have some experience. show him crypto-related websites. and teach him how to find, research a project. Keep him away from shitcoins before he has enough knowledge to approach them.

First I got to know crypto, for sure I will first learn exchange sites, how to buy and sell and about crypto developments, I don't jump into coins right away.

After all I understand then I am looking for information about coins that are worth investing in, for sure I will judge the coin from the maximum supply and circulation, if there is a little supply and circulation of the coin, then make a decision and don't forget the CEO and team.

If your friend is confused about the choice, you should not recommend him to buy anything in advance. I had this experience with a friend, investing without knowledge will not make your friend enjoy the process and he will tend to bother you on his own which in the end he gets bored and leaves space.

Explaining the crypto market is more complicated than the ordinary stock market because 90% of the projects do not have a physical entity. You have to remember the important knowledge when you are starting out until you are able to make it this far, and teach it to your friends.

Simple, if you feel you are not knowledgeable enough to suggest about crypto to your colleagues better do not do because it is very possible for you give wrong information, if he asks about crypto that is worth buying it is better to tell to use idle money and only buy coins that are already listed on CMC and also listed on major exchanges,  it is very risky to buy coins from new projects that have not been listed on any exchange.

Everything is new and changing and coins/tokens are being born all the time and up-to-date information is very much needed here, especially as you said above if someone wants to invest in the crypto world which is very volatile and changing all the time. basically, the goal is to invest and earn extra profit for the planned coins/tokens.

when I was still early to know crypto, what I did was take action right away. try trading, try investing, try airdrops, and more. however, it gave me a lot of knowledge naturally. yes, but I also often get scam places, and failure in trading. however, it's really fun when I think back on it.
Normally, when someone wants to try something new, he has to look for a lot of information, whether it's from reading, watching videos, courses, or other things. lots of places to study today. after that, he determines the coins he will choose, and determines the price. maybe some places have demos that you can try to trade, or invest. when he is ready, then he can start to try it directly.
You gain knowledge from your own experience. and that is very valuable knowledge. because it also hones our skills in trading and investing.
not many want to learn first because their knowledge of investment always brings profits. they don't understand the real risk.
what I understand is that we have to know crypto and how the crypto industry and market works. determining assets I think it depends on our understanding when studying successful projects.
most importantly never try at coin memes for beginners. sometimes it will trap anyone who does not have a good investment and trading skills.

Because to be honest even months is enough time to study crypto, for example how to check good projects in the market and what's the important thing to remember and etc..

And it's too hard to believe that you're still lack of knowledge since all the information are already existing in the internet.

Because there is always something new that comes out and you cannot be stucked on what you just learned years ago.
Before there were Waves, ICO, IEO, and a lot of things created in ERC20. Now, it's different. NFT, DeFI, and some unknown to my eyes and ears. That's why you have to keep on track with everything that is going on in the crypto field. You cannot just purchase blindly.

Seek for more knowledge as a newbie crypto experience is unlimited, I believe that ETH and BTC is the best for crypto investors, 70% of your portfolio should be on BTC and ETH and the 30% on other ALTs line Cardano and Solana.

There's really nothing spectacular about this industry. People looking from afar could find it difficult, but when you come closer it's quite interesting and lucrative for those who are diligent and lucky. Information about the industry are readily available online and one could maximize earnings by taking advantage of the market volatility.

I'll advise you what my friend who invited me here to do, invest first in Bitcoin and understand how Cryptocurrency works, you will not understand decentralization and anonymity and the purpose on why Satoshi created Bitcoin if you do not have Bitcoin first, everything starts with Bitcoin and all the other coins or tokens will just follow, after you've learned how everything works.

Yes exactly, there are numerous coins and tokens in the crypto world, we can see some are listed on Coin Market Cap. And many more are not even listed on Coin Market Cap or COinGecko.
Almost every day there will be new projects emerging, both legit projects and also shit projects. But so far, shit projects are much higher than the legit ones.

I will suggest you not to approach the new coming projects, moreover, those who promise many things, big thing, and also too good to be true. there are so many scammers, moreover to the newbies that are going to invest.
If you are going to start, I will better choose the top coins, mostly about to take Bitcoin (of course), next is the ETH and also BNB.
For others, you may see the top coins that have high trading volume and market caps also fundamentals.
Actually right now, there is a new trend of NFT and Metaverse. But you need better learn them at first before entering.

Yes precisely, being a newbie required you to keep on educating yourself, keep on reading because being an investor of crypto required up-to-date knowledge, especially of the technology. And of course, before you're going to enter in such thing you will make sure that you know what you are going to do and you make already done further research about it. It's a must that we have to do an update to our knowledge even if we are not a newbie in the industry because your knowledge about crypto is the key to success in this platform.

For a newbie it's always better to understand what is crypto currency and purpose of its existence and then when you decide to invest or get into trading or buy and hodl then always start with Bitcoin since the volatility is lesser compared to other altcoins and then gradually get into other reliable coins like ETH and BNB. Apart from this be a regular visitor to this forum and follow crypto related news channels as it will keep them updated about the ongoing market situation. It's always better to start with little amount which you can afford to lose as learning the concept is important than just blindly investing as it's not a Ponzi scheme.

You can suggest your friend to start with the major token. I know that even you have been a few years in crypto was also confusing after seeing the market gets flooded with bunch of new tokens. suggesting the new token will be very difficult for you as you didn't know so well which new token that can be invested. The fact that it's not only you but sometimes me too.
Im feeling so difficult to pick the new token and since your friend was totally new in the crypto and just suggest him top 100 CMC. this will be an alternative choice for you. this is good rather than suggesting your friend to invest in the meme token or another shit scam token

They should first know what crypto currencies are, how they work and how to keep their assets (cryptocurrencies) safe. Before investing anything they should know the risks associated with it. The volatility of the market can sometimes make newbies scared/frustrated.

You mean you haven't kept yourself updated for last three years? Or did you join three years ago? I am guessing it probably is the former. In that case, nothing much has changed. Yes, there are many coins right now but most of them are useless or shitcoins that adds no value to the current crypto ecosystem. Tell your friend to stick with top altcoins such as bitcoin and ethereum. Remind him not to invest anything that he can't afford to lose.

There are currently more than 17k coins and tokens on the market, but for newbies buying the top 20 rankings is a safer thing, if we look in general terms, the price movements of cryptocurrencies are almost the same, this is different from new listed coins which can be green and skyrocketed despite the red market, but this is usually a momentary pump to be recognized.

It's always risky and confusing for new people to choose a suitable altcoin to make profit and the big mistake they do is believing on other people's advice instead of doing some effort by ownselves I think they forget that its their money, not those who are giving them useless advices. If you're new and choose an altcoin to invest by doing own research it doesn't give you guarantee to make profit with it but it improves your strength to do research about various projects and helps to find out suitable projects in future.

Cryptocurrency markets are in a very risky situation right now. If there is a real bearish market, many coins will be wiped out. Therefore, if you are going to invest now, you should choose strong coins. BNB, ETH, Solana etc.

just because there are so many options of investment with altcoins out there doesnt necessarily means you should just bought them all for investment purpose.
you should just choose very few that you think really has good potential and then just invests.
investing like this you couldn’t always be sure 100%, the only thing you could do is doing more and more analyzation so that increase your chance of getting a great projects that could gives great return of investment in the long run.
and that should be the mindset of every traders. Just suggest it for your friend if he was need to take a look at the legit token to make sure they are getting safe investment first. suggesting the new token like meme token must be avoided.

I will answer when some friend ask me about which one coin have to buy just lets him with BNB or ETH coin, but they looks not enough happy with my answer because have expensive price with BNB and ETH right now because they have under $500 fund, looks little profit earn although BNB change price up because they want with $500 capital can be $5,000 in one time trading.

You just have to buy coins that have guaranteed equipment, just look at the market board ranked 100 or just buy coins that are allowed in your country for convenience, don't buy because of lust that destroys you.

If you are a newbie and it is your first time involved in this business, better to focus on learning totally. Never think about what coin you need to buy, just think about the fundamental things you need to learn first. There are many basic things to learn, we need to learn about the market characteristics, learn about crypto coins' nature, learn about the strategy in investment/trading, and so on. These things must be your focus, not about buying coins or dreaming of profits instantly.

maybe you can start by buying a clear coin like eth or bnb i think this coin is safe for beginners then while studying and researching other coins and i think it will be useful and surely over time will understand what crypto is.

it would be great if he learned the basics first. however, sometimes a newbie will understand more quickly by doing it while learning. it will make him understand faster than just keep studying it. however, it takes preparation for it. because the probability that he will fail is still very high and may be above 50%. however, there are many ways to get started. You can do that by studying first, because there is a lot of material about crypto, or you can do it while learning.

If you are too busy to learn, then you will not grow any faster and for every investment that I think it is very common for everyone to do without having to tell except just to give the best choice. What is clear is that every Newbie seems very obliged to learn so that he can know everything.

The first thing you should understand in buying coins now is not to depend on other people's advice but rather your own research on all the coins you like.
Well for now it's actually a little different when you look at the benchmarks in the top ten coinmarketcap because the residents of the top ten cryptocurrencies are now new coins that have been created very successfully. And for my personal advice, try buying Solana, Ethereum and BNB if your friends can't afford Bitcoin.

I agree with this comment. Yes, we should do is learn to analyze the coins that we will invest in. Don't depend on anyone else. I've experienced this, when I was new to crypto I always asked friends for recommendations for investments. However, several times I invested it turned out that the coin was not profitable. I feel sorry because the coin I chose turned out to be better but because of lack of confidence I undo the intention to invest with my select coins.

If you have been active in crypto since 3 years ago and why don't you just suggest your friend. Just give him more knowledge about crypto and you must give him an advice to learn more before try to invest in the crypto. He was a newbie and he must understand about the crypto market. There are so many scam tokens in the market and he must also understand about how to identify this shit scam token in the market.
I think that you can talk with him about that and remember that we have top 200 coins that look promising right now. that's the best thing that you can suggest it to him.
Let him to do his own research and he will be also getting more knowledge about crypto. Stick into the top 100 - 200 are the best choices.

If a friend, that has no idea of cryptos whatsoever yet but wants to make his early investment in the cryptospace, is asking you what he should do now or what coin he should buy then i think it is always important to check first, what he is hoping to achieve with his investments. Does he want to invest money because he does not get any interest on the bank but he wants to make a relatively save investment? Then i woudl go for the big and already established coins like Ethereum, Solana, Cosmos, Polkadot or even Bitcoin there the risk of a total loss of your investment is very small in my opinion. If he wants to go for possible very high returns, then you should make him clear that it is very much possible that he will lose his investment and then you can pick one of the newer but promising projects.

Investing in cryptocurrency is not easy because you will get scammed. Usually, you should get into the top 10 currencies because they are the best and, in my opinion, the safest to invest in. If you're new to cryptocurrencies, I recommend learning the fundamentals of key and address, deciding which wallet is best, and learning a little about several crypto exchanges so you know where to purchase and sell your coins. Then, before investing in them, further research the crypto coin of interest, get to know the investors if feasible, and get a sense of the project's roadmap.

You start your journey on crypto 3 years ago and I think coinmarketcap that time is not popular as today but good for you that you found that site. Coinmarketcap is indeed useful because they display the coins information and other stuffs. Your not new here anymore so your knowledge in crypto have also evolve and you now have an idea with both new and old coins but you can recommend old coins because you are more familiar with it.

When I first started here, the first site I go to is of course google because I don't know any crypto sites at that time and then bitcointalk is the site that came on top of my search. I was surprised how good this site was.

You must learn what is bitcoin / blockchain before make any investment.
You need to understand what is this technology and why this is something that goes beyond what we have seen in human history.
I have described here:

how much is difficult at the end made the right decision when pick up an altcoin... just because in a long term view 65,4% have realized a negative outcome! Even if these are good ideas, even if there was a massive marketing behind.
Meanwhile HODL bitcoin is the right and simplest decision... a "safe" decision!

The first thing to do is LEARN. The more time you invest in cryptocurrency  and blockchain education, the better your financial  decisions  will be. Those who go in without proper research and understanding are almost guaranteed  to lose most of what they invest.

A cheap and easy way to start is with the website: https://www.DANTeachesCrypto.com

It is provided free by "Digital Asset News" YouTube channel. All they require is registration with a valid email address.

I came to crypto with 10+ years of financial and programming experience, and still wasn't sufficiently comfortable with my understanding after 20+ hours of research and study.

It was a few months of research before I felt comfortable enough to know how to protect my computers and devices; which wallets and tools to use; how to handle my backups; whether to mine vs. buy, etc.

But the real research goes into figuring out which projects you should invest in. And in that regard, that is a lifelong commitment.

Asking a question on a message board, reading a few tweets, or listening to a video is something you can do AFTER you get an understanding of the space.

The basis of cryptocurrency is bitcoin.
maybe explain the basics of bitcoin make your friends understand how it is cryptocurrency.
Explaining all cryptocurrencies in detail is impossible even if we ourselves have taken years to fully understand it.
Just make sure, at least tell your friend that cryptocurrency is a high risk investment and teach him about a bit of cryptocurrency scams.
It's a shame, every time someone who just entered cryptocurrency they always came out crying,
losing their assets because they were lost when investing.
when you say your friends want to know about cryptocurrencies I think introducing the risks is very important.

No newbie should try trading. Crypto is the Wild West, and professional traders and hedge funds with billions in capital behind them make killings off of little guys roaming out into the badlands.

On top of that there is no end of scammers, con artists and hackers out there promising the moon just to get newbies trust. The greedier the crypto "investor", the greater the chance of losing everything.

To be honest, your friend sounds like he is on the fast track to getting cleaned out. The best you can do now is put all your advice and warnings in writing and in an email. So when he loses everything you can say "I warned you man!" and point to the email.

In personal finance or tech, when people get cleaned out or hacked, they always release hell, vitriol and/or lawyers on the poor SOB who got them into it. They almost NEVER own up to their own mistakes.

There are many new types of access to this market, and I see mostly young people who are passionate about technology or those who are interested in finance and crypto as a real opportunity. Lots of theories to start with. Try to find out the origin of history, blockchain technology, ... equip with good background knowledge so as not to be surprised by the concepts. Then you can experiment with small trades, then learn the forms of transaction analysis, project signal analysis,...and always have a comfortable view of this market. Do not rush to act.

Staking is good thing for newbie because they have passive income on every month without have to care and checking market which one coin have to buy, but still not guide when choosing right coins for staking. Some investor just interested only with coin staking by giving higher APR reward without see how much coin supply, how many exchange listing and do not know about potential or not before staking. I see most stable coin for staking right now is SFUND because have stable price and worth for one year staking with APR 75%, you can unlock or unstake coin when do you want without waiting one year period.

The first thing he should do is learn how cryptocurrency works. simply put, he should first invest in knowledge before investing in any coin, if not, he will run away when he encounters a challenge. Right now, even an OG is finding it difficult because of the numerous projects out there, let alone a newbie.
That's right, everyone really needs to seek knowledge first before looking for which coin is suitable for investment, because without good and a lot of knowledge, everyone will regret it more easily when he starts to experience big losses after choosing coins in a hurry.

Already in the crypto space for 3 years you should be able to give some advice to your friend about the market volatility, how scammers scam us, and where to find the best coin in this crypto market. Don't let your friend who is willing to learn about cryptocurrencies but got scammed right away because we can't guide our friend properly. There are a lot of coins you can find right now but the best coin? You will find a few of them.

First of all do not spend any money on anything on your first month. No matter how much you want to, do not spend any money on anything on your first month. What you should do however is to make sure that you are doing the right thing by learning first. Start learning how people trade, why they are suggesting something and where did they found that.

Someone could say you should buy x coin, but figure out why they are saying that, not just why the project itself is good or bad, but how come they picked x and not y, and if they come up with a reasonable and logical argument that is based on data, then take that data, if it is more like "they are hardworking team and I believe they will be number one in this nice!!" type of hype man, then ignore them, it needs to be backed by some data to provide a useful understanding, nothing that lacks the money side of it, deserves your money.

Staking offers passive income, but it is very important to check how useful the project is, what products it offers and how useful it will be in future.
Blockchain technology can be used for different purposes, for example to safe the planet from climate change https://twitter.com/ClimeToken/status/1498942071658405888
And only you can choose what purpose is more suitable for investment.

For staking it is necessary to choose cryptocurrency that will be useful and prospective in future that price of the coin will continue to rise in future.
Now many people understand how it is important to protect the nature.

Don't believe blindly in other's advice you should have an understanding of the market and should also have a basic and fundamental knowledge of the charts so that you can analyze yourself and decide yourself what is good or what is not good but there are some top coins that can be bought by any newbie with less risk as compare to other coins. I would advise you to increase your knowledge about cryptos first so that you don't need anyone's help to decide.

The first thing that a newbie should do is to learn, I know the temptation is high to invest in the market immediately but if you do then you are going to lose your money immediately as well, lets make a comparison to make things simple, if trading was like boxing entering the market without preparation is the equivalent of someone without training trying to beat Tyson Fury, could you do it? Of course not, and not only that you will receive a beating in the process, so it is better to take your time and only come to the market once you are 100% ready.

Yeah right. There are lots of coins right now out there compare to what we had 3 years ago. Specially that DeFi sector and NFT projects are emerging. I think when you want to really know about what to buy, buy BTC first. The most safe investment which could give you great profit in the long run and after that you can diversify your portfolio to alts starting with Eth to Ada or ATOM.

The cryptocurrency market is already very risky in general. Even more risky for inexperienced people. Therefore, novice investors entering the market have to be very careful. Novice traders can observe the market before investing. They can read Bitcointalk. They can keep a significant portion of their money in cash. After spending some time under these conditions, they can slowly start trading. They shouldn't be in a hurry. Nothing is running away. I wish you and your friend success.

a few years ago there were only a few crypto that existed and while now over time crypto is growing rapidly enough that it is difficult for us to determine which crypto is the right choice for us to invest in. About your friend, I think the first thing he should do is learn what crypto is and how it works, because after he understands about crypto, of course he will find it easier to choose the right crypto based on the benefits of the goals of the crypto developer, besides that he needs to learn how to do market analysis so that he can avoid the loss trap.

Simple but everyone forgets how convenient it is to buy the top coins, especially bitcoin.

They're looking for some cryptos that will multiply their money in the short term but it's riskier than what they're thinking of.

Newbies, not offending them but, they should be wise with their very first experience of investing in the market and bitcoin should be their top choice as what the majority are saying.

Nahhh don't see the number of coins in Coinmarketcap or Coingecko because that number will just continue to increase since new projects are being created daily.
If that huge number of coins keeps you confusing or you are getting overwhelmed, there is a solution for that and is to just focus on the top coins especially in Bitcoin.

Well, you consider yourself as a newbie and I don't recommend investing into a coin when you are starting but invest in knowledge like most of us are saying. Investing in knowledge really is the first step if you really want to invest especially in a very volatile market like crypto. After that, hmmmmm maybe invest in your emotions and I mean be emotionless when you are investing because being emotional when investing most of them times leads to huge losses. After doing and learning both of them then you're good to go because the rest will just be base on your experience and as time goes by, you will learn more and more.

First ones you get your wallet and have properly secured your private keys the first coin to buy is Bitcoin and after studying the market for some time you can now dive into buying some other potential altcoin to add your portfolio. You should try to invest in NFT tokens as they are the trend of the moment but make sure you do your research before you invest in any of them.

As new comer on cryptocurrency you need to know how potential risk by investing or trading on bitcoin or altcoin, not talking about how much profit can earn with cryptocurrency but you need to know and have already when getting risk or loss much money here. I think without have good mentality faced risk moment by investing with cryptocurrency looks not as long term keep stay on bitcoin or altcoin investment, many people just take care with profit only and forget how many time loss much money with trading in cryptocurrency, but you can less risk or loss money with crypto by improved you skill trading with research when try to buy new coin.

In fact, I personally feel that it should be earlier than that so that they will not be misunderstood and naive later, such as knowing the meaning, purpose and risks in it first.
When indeed they can at least understand then indeed other things can only be studied further afterward.
Actually, the existence of media, be it articles or videos on several platforms, is not too problematic in my opinion, in fact it tends to be better. I think the information that uses the internet is complete, even we can be here, communicate and exchange opinions about crypto, isn't this a new lesson for those who don't know?

What a Newbie should do first after entering crypto is to know how to protect his wallet from theft, know where the private key will be stored, gain information from experts on YouTube and blogs, and conduct sufficient research on the coins of projects and various use cases before investing or before He works in any bounty because there are a lot of scam projects, also any newbie should not invest large sums and determine the appropriate time for sell and buy.

If you want to "invest" in a currency or token for the long term, it must have strong use cases (utility) and the project behind it must be profitable enough to keep it continuing. I would have included "the team" to the list, but as you know, it takes a strong team to create a product that is both helpful and profitable in the first place. As a result, it's a foregone conclusion. You can look up for some good Defi projects like SushiSwap, Lido or ReFi or maybe consider some project in gamefi industry Axie Infinity, ENGN, or BORA, which are comparable blockchain gaming initiatives. Especially now that large companies like EA and Ubisof have joined the fray. Of sure, it's a new project, but it's DYOR, and the btc was also a new project.
What matters the most is not about the use case or utility but rather the newbie's capability in managing his asset and emotion.
Cryptocurrency does not work like a stock market, it is more violent and unpredictable.
Even if you know how to do the research, it will be for naught if you can not handle the pressure and fear once the dump happens. As a newbie you really and should know your limit, that is what should they do first before doing anything in cryptocurrency to prevent something unnecessary to happen.

Suicide happened a lot due to this.

I think it's given already, the first thing you should learn when you go crypto is know how to protect your assets.

For me, just educate yourself about it, really that simple, but it takes time to absorb all the information. When I was beginning my journey, I play around with wallets and really try to grasp everything like private keys and mnemonic phrase etc. Of course, money wise, do our own investigation and not just be carried by hype on a certain projects.

Before doing something without being based on knowledge of crypto, in my opinion, for beginners, it is better to first determine whether they want to join crypto, become a bounty hunter or want to become a great trader? if you want to be a bounty hunter you should look for a community that can help you, and if you want to become a trader then you should be able to learn about charts and candlesticks. I think this is what beginners need to do

Maybe there should be a delisting as well there? I mean exchanges do have it, but I am not sure if ranking places have that too? Maybe for some scam projects here and there but I really didn't notice any at all. There are coins with literally under 100 bucks volume per day, that's their volume, and they are listed, why? I was part of a project with around 25k+ dollars daily volume for a short period of time (around first week) and they got listed in 6 different exchanges and of course cmc and gecko both listed that project.

Nowadays it is near zero, there are days with zero volume, and there are days with a few hundred dollars, but that's about it. Why is that still listed? I mean it could totally get delisted from cmc and gecko and it should be reasonable to do so.

In general, he needs to understand the market so well and choose the coins that are profitable, not those projects that have no use-case. It really takes some time to understand but we should have to as this is the way we could save ourselves from scammers.

It is very difficult to advise someone to buy coins because basically the risk of investing in cryptocurrencies is very high. the crypto market is very volatile which means it can go up or down very quickly, when the price is down of course you will feel guilty and if your friend is a beginner of course your friend will feel panicked and do not rule out making a cut loss. but to minimize risk you can suggest investing in big altcoins like ETH and BNB. but the most important thing is that you have to explain to your friends about the highly volatile crypto market, that way you can reduce your friends' panic when prices are falling.

Initially you have to explain bitcoin first and the risks of trading.
By teaching the basics of cryptocurrency, at least your friends know the risks and profits here.
if he asks what coin to buy I think the best answer is bitcoin.
It is not easy to understand cryptocurrencies that have been running for years, if you are new to cryptocurrency, y
ou must have basic knowledge about analysis at least, because many have gone bankrupt here too.
Also let him learn analysis, without you needing to explain one by one the coins that are on coinmarketcap because there are so many,
and giving him a telegram channel about trading education is likely to help you teach your friends.

I agree with you, indeed knowledge cannot if we are not direct, at least know when the trend is good, this reminds me of when I first understood the exchange, made me want to buy greedily on the available altcoin prices, at least I always choose a transaction volume of 10 best tokens according to coiningecko and cmc exchanges. it does need further analysis, while if we continue to observe it makes us hesitate to take the price, try installing some features on the exchange, I'm sure there are tools that can help. app and web upgrades.

For what @darewaller mentioned for the delisting excanger, I think the policy of the stock exchange is because the stock is owned by an individual company, so we'll just follow it

Of course, there must be a lot of changes from time to time, you have to understand how crypto works without thinking too much about options. Invest whatever makes sense to you as an investment, but don't expect it to change your life right away. The road to profitable crypto investments is as volatile as the currency itself. This will require research, careful planning, and long hours of work. However, if you take these steps seriously and understand the risks involved, you can still benefit from the huge potential of cryptocurrencies.

I'm too busy to learn anything, what i look the project I feel good , I Will invest with all my have
Before investing, the first thing you have to see is how the market works, the first thing you must understand is that all altcoins depend on BTC, in this case BTC is the King currency, that is, the currency that rules and has its own life , the most advisable thing is to invest in the coins that have more antiquity, history, and that their chart is very similar to that of BTC, the reason is simple, at the moment that BTC begins to rise, the altcoin that has these characteristics can give a much stronger bullish rally than the same BTC, these are the advantages of altcoins.

Before entering the world of cryptocurrencies, you should understand the basics of cryptocurrencies, or have an understanding of investing. If you start investing without knowing anything, the money you invest will be tuition fees. Don't let others invest in a coin, you can talk about your opinion on the coin, but don't tell others directly what coin to invest in. Because once the other party loses money, they will blame you for it.

Which do you think is better, a coin that is strong because of the hype or a coin that is strong because of the high demand in the market ? because many people may still be wrong in choosing coins for investment now, moreover everything always looks good at first and the results are also not much different when someone starts investing for the long term.

I myself see a strong coin because the hype will not last long so we have to be smart in managing it,
That's just my opinion and I think everyone has their own opinion regarding it.
this is the importance of doing research before deciding to invest

Beginners who come to the crypto world of course still lack experience, so of course they still have a lot to learn to get to know cryptocurrencies. The first good thing to do if you want to invest immediately, is to invest in major coins like bitcoin, ethereun, binance. that way they will be safer to invest while learning

You know, another my friend was created about 5x profit when invest doge and uniswap, therefore he wants to invest like him. but his mistake, he asks to me where didn't know everything. The bigger risk is the bigger the profit.
Yes.

The higher risk you take, the higher profit that you may take but also, when it comes to risk don't forget that you're about to lose big too.

It's a gamble otherwise.

I also know people who have earned a lot with doge and uniswap and as well as other meme coins like shiba. But people are forgetting how it's good to invest and have bitcoin.

It is really confusing if you are also confused with yourself. Indeed, too many coins are available in the market but if you know what you are doing in 3 years, I think you can make a good choice of them.

Well, telling your friend about crypto, I think you should encourage him/her to do the search of his own. So, aside from having an idea coming from you, he/she can also gain some more from the others. I suggest for you not to tell him\her about earning a huge profit in just a day but rather tell them the huge risk and possible losses.

That’s right, I never tell people what to coin to invest, I just mention a few coins to them and tell them my opinion, but at the same time I am also making them understand that there are risks involved in this investment, so whatever choice that they decide to make is mostly up to them and they should be ready for whatever would be the outcome of the investment that they are making in the market.

It’s true that if you go straight up and tell them to buy a particular coin, whatever happens they will blame you for it. And gaining knowledge about investment is very important, there are also some of the knowledge that you will gain through experience, but at the same time you have to be careful with the choices you make and mindful of what you’re investing in the market.

First, he/she must know the basics of trading, cryptocurrencies & the crypto market and he must know that crypto carries risk. If he/she wants to hold for long term than BTC, Ethereum, BNB, SOL, TERRA. ATOM These all are best.

What a Newbie should do first after entering crypto is to know how to protect his wallet from theft, know where the private key will be stored, gain information from experts on YouTube and blogs, and conduct sufficient research on the coins of projects and various use cases before investing or before He works in any bounty because there are a lot of scam projects, also any newbie should not invest large sums and determine the appropriate time for sell and buy.
really it’s very valuable advise because i see most of the newbie members have no enough knowledge about their wallet security, i mean how to safely to keep store their private key. Their lack of knowledge they lost they lost hard earned assets and newbies investors can be lose with scam projects when they entering in crypto without a minimum market analysis.

Don’t let yourself to be confused by the fact that there are many coins in the market. Just select a few good ones and you’re good to go. I would recommend that you start with the top coins that are in the market; Bitcoin, Ethereum, Cardano, these are all good choices to make, there is no need looking through the whole thing when you have already seen the top ones that are more likely to generate your profit in the future.

Investing in small volume coins might be a waste of time since you’re not sure if they would grow or not. Even till now I don’t think I ever invest without investing money in Bitcoin, Bitcoin always the first choice that I make whenever I am investing in the market.

Hello all! I am actually also new in Crypto business. Firstly, I got involved in some Telegram groups about cryptos. I wrote a lot of people. I asked them some questions about cryptos. I always tried to get more information about what they do to earn money. Secondly, I found this site. A lot of people whom I talked to told me about this site. I registered and I tried to learn about bounties. Finally, I put some money on some cryptos and learnt about how this business works in real life :) Now I think I am good at understanding about cryptos :)

It is certainly very important to understand what we want to invest in. Of course, it's good to learn from others, but they should be proven sources, i.e. people well known in the cryptocurrency community.
If someone does not have too much knowledge, but would still like to invest, it is safest to invest in the oldest and most stable cryptocurrencies, i.e. Bitcoin and Ethereum.

I congratulate for wanting to learn, seeking and actually learnt something by finally investing and probably becoming an investor. But we have to be careful with telegram groups. Most telegram members might not be helping to get to what you are asking for but they want to divert you and asking you for money. . It is always a risk venture trying to seek knowledge on the internet.

coins that are strong because of the hype are also good, as long as we can see the moment, but coins like this cannot be invested in the long term, it could be that the hype will be abandoned within a certain time, while coins that are strong due to demand can be invested in the long and short term , because coins like this will continue to be in demand by people, and I think it depends on the moment where we start, for sure both can be used under certain conditions

You don't have to explain all the coins you've come across over the past 3 years.
The most important thing is that your friends must know that trading here is a high risk.
If he accepts, start from the most basic like bitcoin and ethereum for easy understanding.
If he asks you what to buy now, at least give him an understanding based on a valid chart
I'm sure it will help your friend to understand the analysis of a coin.

I think Litecoin is the best to try for the short term trading, especially when you are newbie. 1 month ago its price changed about 6-7 times from 98-105$ to 110-115$ which was very good for me. Now the price is 103$ but with my observation it will be 105-110$ by tomorrow.

the person must first:

1 - look at the team members, the person needs to know who the team members are who created the altcoin, what background the team members have and what they do for a living, this will make it easier to understand what the purpose of wanting to create the altcoin is altcoin and what level of commitment the team members have.

2 - what is the purpose of wanting to create the altcoin? What is different about this altcoin compared to other altcoins?

3 - inspect the smart contract, even if you have to ask someone you trust to do it

4 - don't be fooled by 10X profit

5 - check if the team members paid the bounty hunters, if the team members keep saying things like: " we can't pay the bounty hunters because the altcoin price will drop a lot " run away from this project, don't invest

Simply stick with the basics and this is a must thing for a noob to mind off because more learnings would be basically be able to attain as you do go ahead. Some might stick out to that basic

realized those mistakes later on when they do experience such bad situation. Learn with the basics and the rest would be ahead.

Yes I agree people should not be in a hurry as a newbie investing you should take everything you can the good and the bad advice so you can come out with your own ways of thinking on how to invest when you understand the risk and you understand how to look where to look and when to look that's the time you are ready to come out with your own analysis, the most important is you take your time to learn, we are talking about money here, the money you've worked hard.

The first thing to do is the introduction of cryptocurrencies because many newcomers enter because of the high Hype of Crypto so they hope to get a quick profit without doing a long process so knowledge of crypto is needed to see what risks we will get later when we start entering to trading in Crypto.
If I may suggest newbies they should before deciding to enter the world of crypto they need to prepare everything both knowledge, skills, and mentality,
it's not that easy to make a profit in crypto so all it takes a process,
if we don't have any preparation it's really very risky because we can lose money easily

My friends ask me what coins I can buy and I always say Bitcoin is the first choice. Bitcoin has become an icon among cryptocurrencies. There are other stablecoins out there, but I wouldn't recommend them to my friends. If he doesn't know about cryptocurrencies, then we should let him know about Bitcoin first. When he knows some processes, he can choose to study some coins of interest by himself. A reminder: People who are new to cryptocurrencies should not invest in hype coins. Not everyone can seize the opportunity, and it is very likely that they will lose their own funds.

Indeed, the potential loss should also be sighted beforehand.

This venue is not an easy path to richness, it's a good venue to learn and have a decent amount of benefits only if you know well
on how to take advantage of every market situation.

Without proper knowledge, your chance to grow is slim, but with proper practices, the chance is high to be compensated.

You need to work things out the right way, else you will lose in a short period.

This is basically the same thing I recommend to every newbie. The only problem is that all newcomers have heard about the great opportunities with crypto currencies and want to get rich quickly. Therefore, most don't bother to build up a little knowledge first. This happens only after they have shined and made big losses. At least that has been my experience so far.

without knowledge, they think only of an advantage that will make them rich in a short time. no education provides guidance. and when the market collapses, it will bring panic and it will be a loss for newbies who don't want to learn first.

That's the mindset that a newbie should take off of them because that's the thing that would lead them to losses. Answering the question of the OP of being a newbie to crypto what they should do first, of course, keep reading, build a good foundation on yourselves about technical analysis and the topmost thing is to be patient because earning here in crypto does not come into easy. Yes, we may experience sometimes an instant profit but not all the time so learned the process properly.

We are lucky that we joined crypto earlier than most newbies right now because, in the beginning, crypto is not about easy money but we sincerely learned crypto because of useful it is. We search every corner for Information to become good at it. I'm not saying all newbies have a mindset different from ours but there will be a few that are dedicated enough to earn and he will find ways how to improve it.

Some treat it as an important thing or as a job so they should minimize losing. Newbies don't have knowledge and skills but the only thing that they can have when they start here is I think mentality. It's not easy but it can be natural, some people are born to have a strong mentality while others learn it eventually.

Doesn't matter how many currencies there are disponible on this market, you should always go for bitcoin first. The highest percentage of a crypto portfolio should be concetrated in bitcoin and only a small percentage like 5% or 10% should be invested in altcoins. As a newbie, your friend must know how to create an account in a legit and safe platform where he can buy or invest his purchased coins. Then he can create his BTC wallet address and start managing his funds. It's also a must to set security configurations on his account properly, to prevent being hacked and losing funds.

As the time goes on, your friend becomes more experienced and profit is made, he can invest in a cold/paper wallet to store his cryptocurrencies offline, what is safer than storing coins at an online platform, although it won't generate any passive income over his money.

I agree. This kind of mindset is often owned by newbies. They don't even care how. What they have in mind is that they can be successful and rich like everyone else. So they tend to be more interested in the lure of very large profits in the short term. In fact, sometimes they don't listen to our advice to them because their desire to quickly get an instant profit is greater. And what happens is that they are faced with scams or Ponzi schemes that actually cause them losses or lose money.
And of course what happened next?
They blame cryptocurrencies.

for a beginner, I think what you do is study the market movements and also learn the coins you want to invest. I think for a beginner should follow what you are doing.
I don't do anything, what they can follow me?

Real estate investments are more stable than investments in cryptocurrency.
but invest in real real estate are more stable that real estate on cryptocurrency. because in crypto we don't know how to live it

With every year people pollute nature more and more. And it is necessary to stop this pollution.
It is good that blockchain technology helps to protect nature and unite the people.
The problem is not many people know that Blockchain technology can protect nature because it is not the main concept of Blockchain technology and most people only know Blockchain technology as a technology that is very smart in accommodating coins and tokens not nature :D
this concept has to know from newbie also because this is the future where they can live in. Like metaverse, i belive this is the future of cryptocurrency, but from now very few people know how it's work.

Currently more and more new coins are appearing in Cryto.
a lot of good coins by having a good project too so that this coin has a good future.
let's see that currently coins like binance, solana, atom are coins that have good projects and have the same concept as etherum which has its own network
in NFT we also see where it is, sandbox, ethereum and also in web3 development there is also a link
maybe your friends can take good coins from some of these superior sectors.

Buy a Ledger and as much Bitcoin as possible, then play some Play2Earn games to earn tokens, this involves less risk than trading stocks or NFT's. If you're looking for good games that can make you money when gaming and when you're sleeping, NFTshootout would be my recommendation. You can sign up for free on their scholarship programme and don't need to invest anything in order to earn!

Actually nothing is instant in this life, if you think crypto can provide sudden profits, then this needs to be straightened out, because thinking like this will give birth to disappointment in the future, crypto has a way of running, if there is no adequate knowledge and methods analyze potential coins, then there will be no return from the investment made, this is very dangerous if it continues, because the potential loss is very large

You need to work things out the right way, else you will lose in a short period.
knowledge and timing must be right in making investments, crypto is not an easy place to make profits, because investments here will continue to be affected by corrections and other problems that exist, if knowledge and ways to identify potential coins do not exist, then the investment is certain will not come to fruition, not to mention the chaos that came when our investment started

The electronic turning market is becoming more and more popular in many different fields. I think it will not be difficult to find knowledge-sharing materials related to the market, but it is really too big and it is difficult for newbies who do not have a basic knowledge of finance and technology. And what will make you better in this market is to experience it for yourself with my own ability. I personally do not have the basic knowledge, self-knowledge, or embarking. Trading or investing will give you experience. Even if it's financial failures, it will give you experience in the markets.

the crypto market is different from other markets (foreign currency, stock and etc), there are some people who are very confident to inside the crypto market with that knowledge ends in failure. they think both are the same, they begin with high capital and thought it would be like as what they did before. and now they blame the market.

Yes it's true that many of the big entrepreneurs sometimes blame the crypto market when losses overwhelm them.
Without them seeing the difference between the stock and the crypto market is very much different.
Especially when it comes to buying and selling as well as working hours.
Meanwhile, the crypto market has absolutely no buying and selling limits.
Even though sometimes people think it is easy to enter the crypto market, in reality it is not that easy.

People who are new into this business mostly failed at the start, not knowing what the proper mindsets and attitude they are victims
of sways and fluctuations.

Crypto is too wide to learn in the short term. You needed to spare time to understand and acknowledge all those that influence the movement
from there, you'll learn how to anticipate and position your trades.

There are a lot of cryptocurrency projects but not all of them will survive during the fall of the market.
It is very important to check how the project will be useful for people in the future.
Thanks blockchain it is possible to invest money in different assets including real estate like this - https://twitter.com/Z1financial_/status/1500779615622610945
Real estate investments are more stable than investments in cryptocurrency.

Real estate investments give a stable profit but they do dot give so big profit like investments in cryptocurrency when market rise.
Now many people thing that the price of cryptocurrency will continue to rise because of unstable situation in the world.

If you are still hesitant in investing let alone the current state of the market then just choose a potential altcoin that does have a good future, and the coin we can choose such as BNB, ethereum, polkadot and one of the kings of coins that is bitcoin which is currently at the point that is very suitable for us to hold, but you must know all the coins we hold there must be risks because not everything we expect can get results maximum, and you can also choose some metaverse coins that are currently very much in demand by investors.

You should always have most of your portfolio in BTC,ETH and other big cryptos, you just know they aren't scams and that you cant lose everything. The rest you can play around with and go into some altcoins, but you definitely need to do research, and you need to know what you think is going to work. Those are mostly projects that have usability, like GameFi projects or something like Sports betting with crypto (They have existing real world markets, so logically they will work with crypto too). For example I recently got into BORA and ENGN  in GameFi, and atm im looking around for some betting platforms so i can start to have fun xD. For now the ones that look good to me are Roobets and Lunabets. You just look around for projects and look at their white papers, ask around the forum about them (People here can be really helpful). You could also consider some staking in some DeFi projects, im staking half my portfolio.

it takes a lot of patience to be able to profit from investing in metaverse tokens, look what happened to metaverse and defi tokens, most of the tokens have dropped in price. it's better to just propose to friends who want to invest, tokens that are in the top 20 such as bitcoin, bnb or eth then your friend's investment will be safe.

Before purchasing any coin, remember that you may experience loss of your whole capital instead of take benefit from it. So decide the amount of your capital again. Apart from that, keep avoid yourself from buying any meme coins or so call shitcoins. Don't try to do trades, i doubt you can't manage. Last one is, if you pick cypto from eth, bnb, sol, ada, matic, dot,, then it'll be good in my options. now do your individual investigations
Yes, when deciding to choose crypto investment, the first thing to pay attention to is potential coins, where coins like this are safer to invest, compared to memecoins or shitcoins, maybe to find potential coins can be seen in the top 10 coinmarketcap, relying on hype will not produce the maximum, because such coins are very speculative to invest in

These coin are the support of cryptographic money and as such the individuals who are coming to the market ought to have a piece of Bitcoin and Ethereum. That idea won't ever be off-base. It's generally the need cryptographic money to contribute uniquely to the novices. Picking coins in view of marketcap worth could works yet is ought not be your very first explanation, you really want to check the genuine use of the coin out.

Sadly, there are still investors that hooked with meme coins.

There's no more hype on it as bitcoin becomes stagnant these days aside from the pump that it made a few days ago. Before suggesting to anyone, always explain to them that the market is volatile.

Whatever you choose to suggest to them is based from what you think and at least provide some detailed information why you've suggested those altcoins to them.

That is very risky, personally, I don't give advice to my friends especially when they are new to crypto.
teach your friend to study the team behind the project make his own investigation. let your friend understand the risk factor of cryptocurrency before diving into this journey.

Sadly, there are still investors that hooked with meme coins.
Mainly, it is because of hype that is spreading by many influencers or other participants of the meme coin programs. We can find so much trash like this in the telegram. And many newbies are triggered to invest because they are really desired with the high-profit promises from the team. On the contrary, the newbies don't know exactly what the project is. They only focus on the promises of getting very high profits instantly. This is what actually often hapen.
And the exact people who really know about meme coins will not use this as an investment, but only short trading that utilizes pump and dump, and the victims once more will be newbies.

Sometimes, we are too difficult to make newbies aware of this danger and shit coins, but they are sometimes mroe interested in the high promises than the advice from us

What's funny is the newbies didn't doubt anything if someone says or promised a good return for their money. I think if I'm a newbie I will think twice if this is true or not but I will mostly refuse that kind of offer because I believe that money is not easy to earn and someone won't just give away a huge chunk of money just like that.

If there are experienced people that know the true intention of meme coins, I don't think they will still invest in it because it is still very risky and they can instead use what they learn on a more better coins. Just let them if a newbie won't follow your advice, let them suffer first and realize their mistake. they will learn on it soon.

DYOR will always be the first thing to put into when entering crypto for the time. Don't let your emotions dictate you during your first trading, instead be calm and be collective to avoid losses in the end. When buying tokens/coins for the first time, you must put a good entry in the low price. Don't get FOMO and check projects that already have foundation that is low cap gems that has use case and real adoption.

We can find all of this if we have basic knowledge in recognizing coins, there are lots of coins available in the market, but if we are not able to recognize potential coins, then we will act modestly, so we are more likely to follow our heart, investment cannot be carried out with methods such as This requires analysis and basic knowledge to enter the investment world, at least to be in a safe position, we must know potential coins
