We can't just pray and hope that war won't happen. All of that would only happen if they, the nation's leaders, could put aside their egos and choose the path of negotiation. Hopefully all these problems can be resolved and the world will return to normal as before.

Prayer is real, it's good too and every Christian or even, anyone who believes in prayeed should do well to outer a word or tow to ensure there believes come through but, there are also other steps to end a war. Whole people discuss in finding a resolution and how to stay safe in a now dangerous world, thanks to Russia, its also a good thing. At least, one could find a way to get some comfort from the thoughts of others on how to stay and play safe if it come to the worst but we hope that shouldn't be the case. The worst of it all is that, it's most likely not to be limited to Ukraine and it would be the world not being so fair to them not to lend a helping hand for the Ukrainians against a nation such as Russia.

I am glad to see Vitalik take a stand for peace.  Sure, it's meaningless, but at least he's trying.  Putin seems like he's been a supporter of mining altcoins as their supposed 800 billion dollar portfolio shows that they at least have some trust in Mr. Buterin.  While I'm sure this will fall on deaf ears, maybe it will spur others in positions of influence to at least let their stance be known.  Killing innocent people is bad for humanity.  With all the trillions of dollars we just spent to protect people from the flu, it seems absolutely insane to start spending hundreds of millions to start killing again.  At least it shows that the pandemic is no longer a major concern to governments, as they send their citizens into war.

Exactly that is my point. If your brother is there. So many are here who has some relate there. So there should not be a war.
They should think about peace. To save innocent people.

So prayer or not, the war will take place. Humans have to style up and start thinking in a straight line by loving each other.

We'll see how the situation escalates, it's still too early to declare it as WW3, however, Putin has threatened to turn against NATO if it tries to butt in. Let's hope that it doesn't develop to a larger scale war. It's certainly a concerning issue, for the whole European Union, such moves are incredibly compulsive, it wouldn't surprise me if a similar incident happens in the future, such as Turkey with Greece.

Prayer is all we need, look what's happening in Ukraine today, people dying everyday, it's even the innocent people dying more, let's be more Prayerful instead of looking for a way to fight and destroy things we'll only end up killing ourselves and destroying hard earned properties.... Prayer is really the key in times like this, please lets encourage ourselves to pray more and complain less.

People will still get killed night and day. Am just trying to be realistic here. If you see a lion coming to eat you, do you kneel down to pray to God or try to save yourself?

Pray? For what? If a God existed, would he prevent this in the first place? Do you think asking him for help would make him reconsider? :D What does love for one's family have to do with belief in God and praying? And pray to what God? So many questions but I don't see too many explanations. We need to discard the beliefs of the old worlds and become better human beings, take responsibility for our actions, and make this a better place, not wait for someone to do it for us.

The fight is actually not between Russia and Ukraine, but the USA, only that unfortunately for Ukraine it's being used by Russia as a bait. It's a war of ideological difference, bipolarity, one I could refer to as a proxy war.  And this will continue cause there is a high level of political anarchism in the globe.
Though Prayers is needed, but not necessary in a state where all men knows the right thing and abide by it!

The people that have experienced how bloody and a cold war could be will never pray or want one to happen. Besides, the generation of some people will never forget World war 1 and 2.

I totally agree with you. Ukraine is just the scapegoat. When two elephants fights its the grass that suffers. I feel sorry for Ukraine but NATO and its allies cannot do much because Russia and her allies can match their military capacity. Going to war with Russia will lead to a devastating consequences that the entire world might never recover from in decades. Putin don't care, NATO has much to loose than Russia.

You are overthinking the situation. Currently, most of those troops that are fighting in Ukraine from the Russian side are contractors. NATO also deployed mercenaries on the battlefield. Main Russian forces are still on standby mode and they are only using 1/4 of their total strength. Putin's main objective is still unknown and the troop's deployment of Russia is making no sense. It looks like Putin has some other plan.

Many people don't actually understand by Putin is going into war against Ukraine. Is clearly that Russia don't probably want NATO and USA anywhere closer to them. If Ukraine chooses to reconsider it decision of joining the NATO. I think it will resolve the whole issue. Although, USA have placed sanctions on Russia, but the conflict is mostly affecting Ukraine. Also Russia are more stronger compared to Ukraine in term of weapon, which means Ukraine won't be able to withstand the pressure. However, I just pray the issue is settled as soon as possible, because nobody eats war.

No body can pray for war because war is a destruction and damage of economy, i want us to being putting president Putin of Russian in prayer to handle the issue between her country and Ukraine president amicable, because if the war persist it will cause more damage to the less country, Russian is like world power and it's not supposed to have combat with Ukraine because the fighting arms of Ukraine 1 is fighting arms of Russian 30, we the prayers and the intervention of God to stop the conflict
