Title: XRP master key disabled
Post by: RapTarX on February 26, 2022, 04:48:45 PM
One of my friend received XRP in trust wallet but now when he is trying to send/move the fund, it says "mastee key disabled". He has tried many ways. I have googled but didn’t get a lot of information. Will he be able to move the fund or it's gone forever?

He will and just try to follow these steps https://xrpl.org/disable-master-key-pair.html

As far as i remember some people have been facing this issue and it's helped them all to fix their masterkey that being compromised. That's only what i know but to be honest i never face this problem before. It's worth to try.

The mentioned link may solve the issue but make sure your friend knows what he actually doing and do it in a secure environment since the method involved with sensitive credentials.

Also, it's better to ask the Trust Wallet community for the aforementioned method of solving the issue and the future usage of the wallet. Try to find out if they have some other solution that able to be solved directly within the app.
