I'll have a good laugh when I see Putin in the dock in The Hague.

Well you might see him get bombed in his bunker. Meanwhile he does the same to your country in retaliation and then your way of life disappears within the blink of an eye. Not so funny our world. You could have at least envisioned his hanging there :).

If this is true, I believe Alfred Nobel will rise from his grave and destroy the Noble office because of the stupidity of the Noble commissioners who made that decision.

The story/article is definitely fake, wasn't well formulated or wasn't given enough attention, but we all get the drift. Since Russia started this war with Ukraine, i've wondered the whereabouts of COVID because the war has shifted attention from it and it seems not to be a thing to fear now but Putin alone. The story about the COVID virus is not completely true, and this sudden war has indicated that those who suspected such formerly were correct.

Reading this got me laughing like I'm drunk.
This is quite true, talks about pandemic all has been shut down ever since the invasion of Ukraine by Russia.
I don't know where this lead's but you see the media ? They're also controled by wealthy billionaires. Covid was scary ASF people cried, people died, people had hearth issues and all the rest, bit you see this invasion ? It's totally bad to see this!

Of course you've got no reason to take that news seriously. It's clearly stated in OP to be fake and instill a good laugh. The writer of the referenced post just understood the tension that have grown in our world today with Russia's Invasion Of Ukraine and ensuring no other nation assists them in the on going war.
Either we like it or not, two different wars are at play here, the physical war and that of the tension that grows about it on this not to result into a III world war, which is still a possibility.  The reason why this situation should be handled tactically by world leaders.

Also, the Covid-19 death counts and its evolving strains seems to be off the news. Should we say governments of the world have found another trend to keep the people busy until the next... For real, Putin seemed to have ended Covid-19, lol!!!

He sure did! What a wonderful man! He ended it so thoroughly even my country in Asia has lifted almost all restrictions. We don't even need our vaccine passports anymore. Thanks Putin!

Well there seems to always be focal point in MSM anymore. Never a slow news day otherwise they lose money. Yep this was a piece of satire but also truth embedded in it as MSM loses interest in a story like a goldfish forgets where it is half the time.

It's funny but just a few months ago people were being forced to wear masks and show their certificates and now you see all those refugees without masks and certificates crossing borders into the EU and nobody cares if they were vaccinated or not. You see pictures of people sitting in bunkers and no masks on, nobody cares. Does that mean there's no COVID anymore? I don't see Russian soldiers in Ukraine wearing masks. Maybe they are immune because of all that alcohol in their body?  ;D

I bet Russia or China could invade the west (US/EU/CA/NZ/AU,etc) as "refugees" in tanks because its liberal :D.

What I like about this is it also showed their biases even more. I remember the Babylon Bee also made another article to make fun of that stance where Texas disguised it's border as the Ukrainian-Russian border so that people would care about it.

When I saw title of topic, I thought it's another fake story from alternative reality made by these folks who constantly spread conspiracy theories here :D.
But talking more seriously, I don't think that Putin ended pandemic. It ended some time before war when many countries started to lift most of covid restrictions like vaccine passports, masks and etc.

When your city is getting bombed and people think how to survive, putting mask on is definitely first thing which come to their head... And seriously, in photos of people hiding in metro and bunkers, I see quite significant number of them with masks.

In fact, not even a nuclear war would end the COVID pandemic.

In a nuclear attack, it is pertinent to wear a mask and remain 6 feet distanced, apparently. COVID-19 being such a severe threat, I suppose social distancing would need to be in place because having a case of the sniffles while ingesting nuclear radiation wouldn't be fun.

Anyways, the COVID pandemic ended when it became apparent that restrictions and lockdowns were not a winning strategy. People got over having the government micro manager their lives for them. And with how quickly people move on, the war in the news cycle means COVID is now forgotten.
