Title: Movement
Post by: ilikesumma on March 12, 2022, 09:54:23 AM
Hey folks, so recently I was thinking about creating a decentralized community to support victims of recent and future conflicts. Myself needed to leave my home country and get familiar with new cultures, languages and the environment. People are arriving scared and it's hard to adapt to more developed societies and feel comfortable. So the idea is to support refugees in the first line by communication and introduce to new tools/possibilites. Through social networks and modern tools like Skype, Zoom, Gmaps etc it is possible to navigate people and help them. Adoption to a new environment is very important and I try to find some volunteers here. So whoever is able to help and wants to be a part of the team pm me with qualifications.

What exactly you are looking for. You may want to give more details like you need x people for x job or position and the detail roles of the positions. Also It's not clear how you want to operate the project. You need to provide the detailed idea too. You can use example of any existing such platform too that goes close to your idea.

The Idea is to reward all parties involved through a defi network and raise funds for individual groups and activities through donations and idos. Provide events by socializing and connecting through different activities beginning with art to esports for young generations. Teaching new languages, helping finding apartments and getting familiar with local authorities. Please do not include politics or religion in this topic. In the first place we need to be fast to avoid another global crisis.

I need

- Web Developers to create a web 3.0 site
- Economic advisors, social advisor and psychologists
- Admins and community managers
- Discord/Telegram etc experts to setup a comfortable environment and monitor it
- Influencers/politicians
- Smart contract/coin devs and advisors
- Russian speaking ppl who will support local refugees personal if interested

I think you need to formulate a more specific idea or you will get lost trying to explain what you are trying to do.

These things are not interconnected with each other, and when they are interconnected, they do not unite with each other, meaning that they can be combined in a company, activity, or charitable organization, but it has multiple departments and the organization links these bodies.

In general, try to talk about the technical side and what is your idea that you started with, is it open source and what you need to complete it.

A concrete socpaper will be published next week before I need some brainstormers. I am thinking about a non-profit/charity organization.

Admins, is it possible to share this topic in multiple categories like services, economics and politics & society? This would help to reach a bigger audience and I'm sure we are all interested in it. Also I suggest separating “politics & society” in two different categories.

If you do so, I promise to publish next week a at least 10 pages script-soc paper about processes and structures of the suggested project.

It sounds like you are trying to make a decentralized social platform. There was a lot of them on 2017 but unfortunately now they are still not popular. Also, every attempt to create a platform with no moderation ended up flooded with illegal content, spam and marginal community.

Just imho, modern community and social media are designed to be centralized.

The goal with this project is to set up a global support center “from people for people” that got into difficult situations. Many people left Ukraine because of military conflict and traveled through Europe without stopping. I want to create local russian speaking groups that support those refugees. Financing and donations will go through blockchain, communication through messengers like discord and telegram. By supporting I mean teaching local languages, helping with formulas and connecting with authorities. Manage and digitize documents, translate them etc. make things work faster so people can get back to life. Community managers and bots will check the groups for spam and illegal content.

Regardless of how you raise and send funds, I don't think you should be calling a community that'll use centralized tools, a decentralized one.

You've already broken [ish] one of your own rules :P

In the first place we need to be fast
With that mindset, I have no doubt it'll end in a disaster [I hope I'm wrong].

Would you mind telling us what would be your own role in this project [apart from giving the idea in question]?

Admins, is it possible to share this topic in multiple categories like services, economics and politics & society?
I'm not an admin, but here's the answer to your question:

  • 12. No duplicate posting in multiple boards (except for re-posting topics in the local language boards if they're translated and re-posting marketplace topics in the altcoin boards if altcoins are accepted).

You don't bring up any ideas so what's the point of your post, can you bring up any suggestions? I want to use those tools cause most ppl are familiar with them and who cares about decentralized communication/navigation? The only part that will be decentral is funding, donations and reward system.

For me Influencers and politicians are the same and it doesn't mean that those have to bring up politics, they are simply for marketing.

I will write down the socpaper that will show connections with all entities inside the system. After the core structure is built and basic functions work stable I will disappear.
