Title: Where do altcoins represent themselves for the first time?
Post by: chainofzee on March 18, 2022, 06:25:12 PM
I am doing a research on cryptocurrency market & I was wondering if there are any platforms specific for representation.

Yeah there are and mostly altcoins are represent their project through use the ico list. The website like icodrop has been used by the new developer to represent their altcoins to the market. This method also being used to attract the new investors to come.

The ico list platforms have become a specific platforms for the representation purpose for the new altcoins.

So many new projects are always coming with their idea or plan on what will be developed if they have raised enough funding.

Inside the forum, you're going to see them usually posting their announcement threads on these sections: Announcements (Altcoins) (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=159.0) and Tokens (Altcoins). (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=240.0)

So, right now, there are a lot of projects that are in there. Usually, the sign that a project is new there is that there are only a few pages on that thread.

And outside the forum, you can search for websites like this:

https://coinmarketcap.com/new/

https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/recently_added

If you are new to crypto I highly suggest you to stick with top 10 projects on CMC. Top 50 if you already know something and you are willing to take extra risk. Its pointless to research all new projects because there are more thank 18 000 projects and every day dozens new are coming. Its not like all of them tries to solve something new or tries to do something better than others. Its like 17900 out of them were created just to scam people. Collect money form investors and continue to pretend of doing something ... Research top 10 ... max top 50.

if you just wanna increase the fame of your altcoins I guess coinmarketcap is sufficient enough, it’s different if you are seeking funding and investment for your projects I guess you definitely gonna use platform like the ones being provided by binance and maybe coin list and any similar platform out there. there is some additional things you are required if you wanna raise investment of course, if it’s just fame even being listed in dex that usually really easy in getting done already could gives you enough impression for the masses I guess.
