Title: Any Tennis lovers?
Post by: thirdeyeopen76 on March 18, 2022, 10:44:02 PM
Huge tennis lover. Currently immersed in the Indian Wells tournament. Some awesome matchups at this late stage with Nadal vs young gun Alcaraz tomorrow (mens), a revitalized Halep vs red hot Swiatek tonight & Sakkari vs Badosa (defending champ) tonight. Easily my favorite sport to watch these days.

Sakkari vs Swiatek in the final...should be a great match. Over 1 million in prize money to the winner.

Tennis is one of those sports that I wont follow as the year progresses, but will always stop to watch when I come across it.

There's always that time in the summer where the only thing on is baseball. Football, hockey, and basketball are all out of season. This is when tennis becomes of interest to me. I have always loved watching Nadal play.

Let me just say I'm more of a soccer person, but I have always wanted to learn tennis, I know it rules but I haven't been in the court before.

I am a big fan of playing a game of tennis but I don't get out on the court that much these days. I used to play more in my teenage days but it's a perishable skill meaning that if you don't use your skills for many years your game can deteriorate quite a bit.
An important aspect of the game for many intermediate players like me is that my game is seriously affected by the person I'm playing across. For example, if I go out on the court with an experienced player I can really get some nice games in.
On the other hand, a few months back I tried to teach a friend how to play and I was hitting ball after ball into the net. So if you're a beginner I highly recommend playing with someone who's better than you.

I am a tennis lover. I used to practice and play tennis a lot. and I'm a badosa fan.

but after marriage the time to play tennis became less. because he is busy making a living for his family. but still I have time to watch and practice tennis with my brother. I even play a multiplayer tennis game to pass the time on the sidelines of a break from work.

I love tennis but sadly I’ve never been very good at playing physically myself. I love watching the major tournaments though, we have been very lucky to see some of the greats in recent times though. The titanic battles between the likes of Federer, Nadal & Djokovic have been a privilege to watch over the years.

Huge fan of the womens game. Bronzetti vs Saville earlier today was one of the best matches of the year.
