Title: Best Forum I have been to
Post by: Franctoshi on March 20, 2022, 09:37:28 PM
Since I joined this forum I took a quality of my time and went through this forum to read the rules and and regulations that is governing this great community, I have seen that the furum is indeed divers in knowledge and I have really learnt a of things from other people's threads and post.
It really an amazing and so much encouraging community with great Ideas and contribution. I have been in so many community like telegram group, Twitter, WhatsApp, Facebook etc, I never seen level of  rules and set of standards like the one I have seen here.
With level of things which I have seen so far, I believe it going to serve as a ladder and an established ground to the incoming Newbies like us to follow . Accolades goes to the organisers..  to whom it may be.

You just registered today so i dont see much conviction in you knowing all about the forum yet, pls take your time to understand them.

Also make use of the search botton for related topics, welcome onboard.

Not saying I have known everything and registering today doesn't mean that someone cannot graps the necessary things he needs.
there are fast readers and learners and so do level of understanding differs, according to what I wrote there, I did explain that I'm a member to many communities , so being a newbie here doesn't remove the experience I had with other forums though there are rules differences, but rather it will help me understand the rules here faster.

Thanks and nice to meet you here.

You are a registered forum member just a couple of hours, and you've already managed to interpret all the rules and possibilities here. Well done my dear.
You say the best forum you have been seen, on how many forums have you been a member of so far? Certainly, in a few hours on the forum, you can't say it's a significant experience.

how could we not just attack you here, new members are always welcome. Especially members who want to learn something and perform sincerely and with respect here.

  • Newbies - Read before posting (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1689727.0)
  • [Guide] Searching effectively (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5276341.0)
Search > Read > Search > Read is an important cycle. It helps you to find available resources and answers for your questions. If you can not find it, you can make a topic or ask in available similar topic on the same issue to ask for more detailed answers.

Many new members (assumed so) make repeated topics on same issue, it implies two possibilities
  • They don't know how to search effectively. If so, above topics are for them to start
  • They don't mind to read and search. Simply to make post for post counting or merit hunting

Nice to meet you too Frank.
Did you use to introduce yourself to every forum community in which you registrated before in the same way you do here?
The unique simple explanation is that you are willing to get few/some merits for the nice words you wrote in thanking for being here in the forum.
I wish you read the rules ; you don't need long time to get familirized with but not in few days in best conditions. People here make good quality helpful posts to get merits , i advice you do the same. You can start by sharing idea about your experiences and what skills you actually have. it will be nice to discuss it better than just thinking the forum .

Not to detract from Bitcointalk's success, but it's really not hard to see it as the "best forum" because it's pretty much the only bitcoin/crypto forum that isn't dead and that isn't 100% spam lol.

I'd say that the Bitcoin Stack Exchange[1] is also great, but it's probably more on the technical side of things.

Yes you are in the best forum. I dont think there are some whom forum who cant match up with the standard of this forum when it comes to community and moderation. Also this is the hub of true bitcoiner and Satoshi has been here before so I guess we could say its the best out there and no doubt about that.

New members have their own type of attitude, including you. Especially if they are members of another forum where it is really moderated with strict rules as far as that forum considers member quality to be important. Such a member will get used to checking the rules carefully all the time and it can accidentally become a habit even if he just joined another forum.

Welcome aboard by the way.

This is my observation and It interest me so I just have to write about it, I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinion so far it's in line with respect to Forum's rules. My main aim of joining the forum is to learn new things, get more informed and also share my own views and ideas , so I'm sincerely open to that.

It did be far better if we can learn to nicely welcome and guide the newbies rather than attack and bash their mistakes, no man is an island of knowledge and I believe we all at some point were newbies and we made this kind of post, I see nothing wrong in registering a few hours ago and making a post like this, we all have different levels of reading and comprehension abilities.
By the way, how many minutes or hours does it take to read and understand the forum rules and regulations?, I believe at most, it doesn't take more than 10 minutes, so I personally don't see the need for all this comment of it being too early for the op to make this post, anyways, we all are entitled to our differences and opinions, but I rather prefer that we welcome and embrace newbies with open arms, it's the sign we need to know that bitcointalk is not stagnant but growing.

My warm welcome to the op.

Snipe
Sometimes I wonder where or how all these hypes starts! Mostly form the beginners themselves. I mean, if it were to be from experienced ranked up users, I would understand them to speak out of a long time experience but for a few weeks old or month beginner, it lives me with the impression of making a post just for that.

Bitcointalk has got its qualities and uniqueness, its undoubtedly the best forum I've been attached with for so long and I can say, it's level of moderation is on another level. It did help to build me in the crypto field and pushed to get better in my need to know more about cryptos. To conduct researches and be met by new ideas more quickly than I would have on a normal day and that's what a good forum should look like. I just wonder if a beginner can say the same.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, however, I guess the general consensus is that newbie members should be more focused on reading since this forum is full of valuable information and is less like other social platforms you may be used to. It would be best if you refrain from starting topics such as this, which are not very useful for other members of the forum, at least until you gain more experience in topics that interest you.

Either way, welcome and best wishes on your future endeavors!
