Let's say that Ethereum 2.0 got cancelled or postponed once again how long do you think that a 6GB memory will last for ETH mining? I'm aiming at 6GB graphic cards can they last ETH mining specifically till 2024?

And in my opinion, it is not worth. Buy 8GB cards for longer mining and to get your money back

6GB graphic cards have two years more to continue mining Ethereum but now it doesn't matter anyway since ETH is going PoS algorithm by June ending, the next coin to look up to is Ethereum Classic and others, don't bother yourself.

Cards with 6gb of ram have at least another year of life in mining the eth dag is just over 4gb, i believe that eth mining will end within the year, the other altcoins do not have such large dags

Other altcoins won't be profitable anymore after ETH goes PoS in June 30 or so but it's a good time to mine strong coins and hold for future, mining may become less profitable but if you can hold the ones you mine you will make back your money in better shape.

That depends on the price of the other gpu minable POW coins. If Ethereum goes back down to $43 and Ethereum Classic goes up to $3000, the mining profit will be the same...


6gb cards can mine ETC until 2032 so don't worry..
