After I lost my money on different investments, I was devasted but was introduced to crypto. I had no money but somehow I learnt a little on how to trade on Bitcoin. To my surprise, the little I learnt, I decided to start with 2,000NGN as that was all I had. To my surprise, following the guide I was given and with consistency, I started making profit from my trades and that brought smiles to my face. With Bitcoin, I have been able to recover thrice the money I lost to investments. Crypto (Bitcoin) is the way forward.

I went to the casino, played roulette, won, and that brought smiles to my face.

In a more serious way, what you describe has nothing to do with the title of the thread. Bitcoin has not saved you because you are trading shitcoins, apart from Bitcoins. What has saved you, for the moment, is having been lucky with the trades you have made.

Maybe it turns out that you are especially talented for that but keep in mind that more than 90% of traders lose money in the long run.

I hope that if you lose all your money tomorrow trading shitcoins, apart from Bitcoin, you won't blame Bitcoin for this.

It's a bit strange to hear a story in the midst of facts that don't support that it's the truth. For several months even bitcoin was in a bearish-stagnant state and then you came up with a story that you have recovered three times your capital. Why don't you consider telling a story when bitcoin is in the $60k area? Maybe this will sound more reasonable. By the way, when did you enter?

Good to know that bitcoin saved your lost money and it's a good news to have you in the crypto space making profits on your trades. Just keep away from your emotions on making trades because it will be the first factor that will eat you alive if you are not careful.

Dude, you should not "Thank" Bitcoin ...when you got lucky with Alt coin trading. Yes, Bitcoin is a Crypto currency and all other Alt coins are also Crypto currencies, but when you get lucky with 1 Alt coin trade... you cannot thank all the other Alt coins that fall under the definition of being Crypto currencies.

I have a large Portfolio of different Alt coins and I barely break even on most of them.... so you just got lucky that you chose one of the 1000s of Alt coins that are out there, that made a huge profit. A lot of these Alt coins goes to zero ....so it is like flushing money down a drain.  ::)

I will only believe to this story if the OP is not known for being a thread starter. His account just recently created last March 9 and if this story is real, This thread should be his first created thread. Maybe some screenshots of the trading journey will make this story really authentic. I’m really not buying this kind of story for newbie especially earning thrice the profit while crypto trading risk is very high considering the current volatility of price in both up and down.

If you really earn then that’s good. But remember your luck really saves you and not Bitcoin.

Bitcoin certainly has and will change how our financial system works and depending on what the outcome is this actually might save people.
But just making profit on the investment into Bitcoin is not really saving you UNLESS you take the profits or keep the Bitcoin.
Because if you at one point just feel like you have enough to gamble in the casino again, then you'll lose it all again and Bitcoin did not save anything in the longterm.

I'm willing to bet it ain't going to happen, with newbies learning that inventing a story praising bitcoin on how their life has changed with it is a guaranteed merit magnet I'm seriously starting to wonder if more than 10% of these experiences are actually true.

This not true as 2000 NGN i just $3.4 with the selling rate at Binance #584 and believe many exchangers has set limitation of trading, mostly Binance is $10+ so i don't know how one can trade with 3.4 and become that rich or successful. I can easily be convinced by buying and hold maybe you started with just NGN 2000 as the case maybe, you kept on topping the BTC in your wallet before the price break out. yeah this is a genuine reason.

Well congrats then if you were able to recover the money you have lost with bitcoin trading. And I think you are not the only one who find bitcoin to make money because of trading. But for sure you will find days that you are not going to make profits, specially in a bear market. And that will be a big test for you as a trader. Your trading strategy though might work with you, but not with others, so not sure if you need to share it here. But good luck to your journey.

With all the speculations around this thread on how lucky the OP is (I don't think it's luck when you're consistently making good trades, that's SKILLS indeed) or how skilled he is. There's 2 possible side od this story, he might be a real talented and skilled trader, and there's one way to prove that, share portfolio and trades screenshots. Otherwise this is just another make up stories, and I'm pretty sure this isn't the right way to inspire people to trade because there's nothing inspiring in the story anyway, unless he's fishing for merits.

As I understand it, trusts have brought you joy. So, it's not stressful when they are profitable. But I see in you an emotional drive and this is easily controlled by the market for investment behavior. Maybe today you are happy and you can also be sad if you face a loss. So btc or altcoins also have the opportunity to make money, and I find it more important than your ability. No matter how well you do, you will get what you deserve.

it base on what op trade on, you know people misunderstand cryptocurrency and mostly Bitcoin and altcoins trading, when some people make Profit on altcoins them tag it to Bitcoin profit

most of you are saying same thing for someone profit, you can notice that original poster of this thread is newbie and maybe before now is master for his field of trading, he knows his way of making profit, when you go through thread you will notice a team of joy from the post, i did not this post as atoms of inspiring to trade but only happiness of making profit.

It sounds like OP have managed to multiply his money by trading crypto. However, Bitcoin doesn't play any role here. If he earned by trading then there is almost no difference regarding what assets you are trading. Nothing stops you from finding a forex broker with a huge leverage and keep trading a standart USD / EUR pair. Trading profit would be the same.

For OP it would be a good advice to stop investing in shit, stick to legit crypto and stop loosing money.

Don't stay too far away though, remember that you're allowed to be happy and sad whenever something happens to your investments in the market. This is an addition to all the stories about the beauty of bitcoin and how it's the saving grace for many people. Remember that you also need to branch out to other cryptocurrencies out there so there's a possibility that you might hit another jackpot.

I never believed in that kind of luck, I was more for sports betting - but I was only successful there when I realized I had to turn the odds in my favor to win. Either way, a thick line needs to be drawn between entertainment and business, which is also true for crypto trading.


If we believe the researchs, they say that only 5% of people are successful in crypto trading, which does not mean that the rest are constantly losing money, they simply give up after a while. Being successful in something is not just a matter of luck, money, or talent, but most of all perseverance and determination. As a financial advisor I have to tell it like it is, it sounds like you need to do a bit of education for yourself when it comes to investments. You are investing it stuff that is far to risky. Always investing in things that have the potential for complete loss is not proper investing. You need to build a base portfolio for retirement first and foremost. It needs to be filled with traditional mutual funds and ETF type products. Then, once you’re on track for retirement, you can start to invest a small portion of future allocations to more risky investments like bitcoin. Learn from your mistakes!

Agree that Bitcoin is the way forward, but disagree that trading is. Only need to Google statistics on any kind of trading to see that majority of traders lose money. You're in an immediate loss position the moment you open a trade (spreads, commissions, fees) so technically, you need to clear a small profit to break even. In a bull run, it's easy to make profits too but difficult to identify when rallies are over. Recognising that it was fortune/luck instead of pure skill in trading helps ground you also.

Bitcoin's certainly helped me a lot in many ways. Alternative form of payment number one and I can't imagine where I'd be as a freelancer still fiddling with the arbitrariness of PayPal and other methods. Increase in dollar value long term is also great -- had to liquidate something significant over a year ago to give me purchasing power I would never have had saving in fiat.

Indeed, bitcoin is our salvation. I have often encountered stories on this forum of various people who, thanks to bitcoin, have solved their financial problems or found new opportunities in their lives. Bitcoin not only gives you financial freedom to manage your money, but also helps you develop and grow personally. If you use your coins correctly and don't invest them in different dubious ventures like trading or gambling, you will be profitable in any case. Bitcoin is synonymous with prosperity.

Good for you since not all would really be ending up on the same faith when it comes to recovery of losses thats why people do still continue on dealing up with trading or even with gambling just to break even or take

their losses back thats why it is really mixed with some sort of luck speaking with this.We are here to make more profits for at least we do able to sustain ourselves and benefit out for long term.

I am reading the post of @GiftedMan in the same way, I mean I always love to read a success story in the forum, however when the success is based on nothing but good luck then we know this is not going to last, and we know this is the case because since he got some early success trading shitcoins then he is going to keep doing it, which means that sooner or later he will not be as lucky and then he will lose the rest of his capital and will blame everyone else for his losses except the one that was directly responsible for them, which is himself.

Trading is not end with one trade.Nearly 90 percentage of traders will lose their entire investment of their first few traders.Even it may be 1000 or 2000 dollars. So I suggested the new traders to inverse with 50-100$ as they investment to learn trading instead of 1k- 2k dollars.When you feel, you are enough to trade with knowledge. Then you can increase the investment in cryptocurrency like bitcoin.

It sounds like you are somehow talented on trading. Who is your mentor by the way? Is he a professional or are you just getting signals from groups all the time? It was the case for me back then and if it is yours too you better be stopping or else you will be losing money again. Also in crypto it's more hurtful when you in lose, it's bigtime losing and an instant one too.

since he is talking only about bitcoin, he can very well observe the market and start small. but great to know that the OP got his profits from his money. he already started small because the amount he mentioned is about 5 bucks if i'm not mistaken. for traders, that's very small. but he manages to make it 3x which he can further use in his trading. as you said, he needs to be careful as one wrong move, his profits will be gone. there's no need for a mentor i believe if you are talking about small money as you have nothing to offer, so i guess, he worked it on his own.

What guide did you followed? Is it just the experience that you've gained or there's something that guided you until you've recovered? It's delightful to see people doing well in trading.
Because in reality, when you go around the forum, you might see people that are getting rekt by their own decision to trade. And that's why if you're making your trades well, it's really a sign that you're doing well and improving unlike others.

how does op get his money back after trading in bitcoin or altcoin too, as a newcomer here is very lucky because many of the others are not as lucky as the OP, maybe op already has experience in the trading world other than crypto so his mental and analysis is quite strong

Well not really that bitcoin save ops life but trading did which can be in any coins since there is the possibility of making a profit from any coin even shitcoin can give you profits if it is traded rightly. But the good part of this thread is ops was able to recover and doing well now from cryptocurrency trading.

I'm glad it worked out, but op, you need to be careful. If investments don't work out for you, maybe don't do them too much. Remember the golden rule: ONLY invest what you can afford to lose. If it's something critical, something you need for survival, don't invest that. Losing money on crypto trading is also a very real thing that can happen to anyone. So you must have another source of income, some sort of job for which you at least get enough to make the ends meet. If you have extra, investing, trading, gambling is probably fine, but all that risk shouldn't put you and your family at serious risk. Good luck!

very good because indeed bitcoin is a good one and maybe you feel it and not only you but maybe even almost everyone who is here has the same pleasure with this but I don't really understand when you associate shitcoin in this and on the other hand in this case maybe I will straighten out a little bit Bitcoin is part of Crypto but Crypto is not just about bitcoin only

I'm sure many people have benefited from bitcoin, and they didn't stop until now because they want to get more benefits from bitcoin. As long as they can stay focused on finding the benefits of crypto, they will get it. But what they need to remember is that investing in crypto requires patience and consistency because, with price fluctuations that are constantly changing, they can't always expect the price to be high.

Why there's no year? If you can only add more details in your post maybe some of us here won't keep on guessing if how you actually did it but since you haven't supplied it yet my guess is you invested in btc using that amount and you let it grows till it's enough to trade on exchanges and trading is where you made most of your profits.

You have lost before you discovered btc but that can be a blessing of disguise because it allows you to find ways on how to recover it but you haven't expected that btc can give you more than just a recovery. Btc is truly amazing. Your story is inspiring and there is a lesson to get here, that is we should not give up easily.

I actually started bitcoin investment after loosing money to ponzi scheme in 2017. I started with Genesis mining, after a while, they couldn't pay again because difficulty level in mining bitcoin has over increased but I made my capital more than 5x because same year, the price of bitcoin went to ATH. You said you started trading with N,2000, may I know the year? This  money can only buy shitcoin and not bitcoin that is about $3.44 as at today.

I don't normally use Binance for trading since it is centralized and I don't have the private key to the wallet, I rather go on decentralized exchange for my trading so I am careless of the minimum trading amount.

But there is a big chance of the story being fake and just made to get attention since $3 is too low to be traded in most exchange and binance as a centralized exchange with fees and taxes $3.4 is probably not possible to trade with.

Actually Binance doesn't need a private key to be traded with is a Centralized exchange were you transfer your coin and token into . OP already Said the fact in the previous statement which is too sad to be true.

It is not easy to acquire 3x of your capital in bitcoin,  I guess your trading took place before this time when bitcoin was up to 60k for you to get such nice profit. Thanks, @Rockstarguy. I wasn't greedy, and I was consistent and focused in following my trading strategy that was how I bounced back from all the losses I inquired. Success (profit) in trading doesn't come only by knowing how to trade, you have to know when to trade, when to trade and the strategies to trade.

Your courage and hopes actually save you, nothing else.
You lose and down but you still motivate yourselves and never give up, a certain character needs those who want to succeed and it was very clear that there is no easy way to do trading, no easy money but it all comes in a hard way, well, it has a sweet end after all.

I believe that everything that has happened to you has served a purpose; you have lost all of your investment in order for you to learn about cryptocurrency and be able to get more money back. Occasionally in life, we will experience losses and difficulties, but I am confident that if this has already been accomplished, we will experience success in the future. Well, you are now on the right path --dont stay away from it and don't leave bitcoin, we are on the same path and I know how bitcoin was helped me so much when I was losing on stocks and now jumped into the crypto. I know it is risky but if you understand very well, the chances of making a profit will increase. Congratulations on what you have achieved, just continue on it and if you have failures which are very normal, don't have disappointed on it --instead, make a courage and hold as long as you can which is a good decision if you will hold bitcoin for a long time.

Many got weakened upon experiencing bad on their first try, their investment particularly while some become even more motivated to work hard despite the losses they got. You are one of these examples, you never give up but instead, you find a way to recover your losses. Quitting is not the solution but instead, this even makes us a loser totally.

     You should have included the timeframe of when you started and when you earned that much profits. This would give insight to us whether you were doing spot trading or leverage trading. With that, it would be easier to verify your claims. Also, being able to gain that much. I am also curious if you only did trade Bitcoin alone or if you have traded altcoins as well. Anyway, whatever the case is, congratulations on getting profits and I hope you can stay disciplined so you'd be able to gain even more. Because you can literally lose a lot more than what you have gained in this industry with a few wrong decisions. And at some cases, 1 mistake is all it takes to get you broke or buried in debt if you somehow try to lend so you can revenge trade.

Binance does not need the private key to be operated since is a custodial wallet host that's why binance is riskier to store large amounts on since it is not your key so not your wallet.

For trading purposes yes since binance happens to be the world's biggest cryptocurrency exchange many users always make the mistake of storing their entire asset on an exchange which is not advisable

That's quite strange that a newbie who have no prior knowledge about trading was able to use such small amount to trade without losing it. 2000NGN convert to usd (using the NgnRates app) will be around $5 - $6 at most, and you where able to trade with this amount! Good that you had a good guide at the right time. Since you lost much in other investments, seems you were very careful in crypto with every steps and followed your guide and yes your experience matured you to be patience and wait for profits. Lot more to learn in trading. Explore it. Learn the sign of indicators and yes keep yourself updated with market. Choose the right coin.

this would be a Big help to others mate and also to aspiring traders and like you who has no funds to invest now and just having difficulties to make money in trading area as this is really risky .

Trading strategies shared? Nah, no need guy. Just DCA. Keep your day job, keep learning, living etc. Trading will take away all your free time, sap your energy and end up still with you wondering what on earth happened to your capital lol

Just dollar cost average buy the same amount as much as possible as often as possible. Bull run time becomes fun like that :)

Bitcoin saved me, maybe it sounds a bit strange, but slowly I realized that bitcoin has made my life a little better, slowly but surely since I entered the crypto world, I got a new experience, and after I learned and understood crypto work so I decided to enter the crypto world. the crypto world, to be honest after I was laid off from where I work, I was frustrated, but thank God after I got to know bitcoin, slowly my finances began to improve, even though I was not rich but our family life has started to normal.

I know it’s hard to think of anything when you have lost your money. But one trade cannot define your future. You have to keep believing in your strategy and give it some time to show good results for you. But do take a break if you don’t feel like doing anything.

Many will think that Investing and trading Bitcoin gives them the best results. It can't be a piece of luck or a sort of it, but it was a choice.
Bitcoin has been so popular when it comes to investing in crypto, of course, it gains such a profit appreciation coz of many people had proved it. Sounds like a luck to me but others consider luck as a skill but as what others have mention trading doesn't always bring you profit and you really need to learn it well.
I also know that feeling I had some experience with shit coins before it is just luck at all, if your shitcoin would have a pump in the future.
There are so many trading strategy out there I don't really consider it as a trading strat (Shit coin investment) I just think of it as gambling.

I also have same experience like you .I was doing gambling and i have lost almost everything have .Then i cam to know about bitcoin from one of my friend and i have stated to learn .I have tried hard to study behind it and all the strategies i have found i started to research on it .I have started to spend all of my time here .At the end i have succeed here on trading and investing as well .Btc has opened a door for me .I have recovered all of my fund what i lost in gambling .I am very happy to find this community and i always learning each and everything i find .Hope i will able to make a good place for my future .

No it wasn't trading where he lost his money but he started on investments. It was trading that help him recovery and earn more. He did one to two trade's and the result seems nice, that is why he continue it and stay consistent. Often times we are not motivated on what we are doing if we see a bad result or if we think we are not progressing anymore but this is a bad mentality.

We will never be good at what we want when we don't keep pushing ourselves. Good results doesn't show up overnight but it will take for some time before they appear. Yeah, a few breaks won't hurt but it's beneficial to release the pressure and stress that we feel.

You have a point. OP is still a newbie in this forum yet he profited thrice from trading which is quite impressive for a newbie. Perhaps this is what they called beginner's luck. Although, not everyone really experiences that because most of the time, newbies fall into pressure and fear which causes them to act impulsively such as giving in to panic buying and selling. Your suggestion of putting images such as screenshot as proof could be of great help to know whether OP is telling the truth or not. Well, this matter will only happen if he's got a time to spare to make it proven.

Nonetheless, whether his story is true or not, it's his conscience. If he really profits that much, then better for him. He could make so much from that profit and he could use it as a motivation to push harder next time. If not, then too bad. However, he could also use that experience to strive for more and to aim earning through crypto.

You can for as long as you have the trust and confidence in what you are doing now. Bitcoin is really profitable, however, many had also lost their hopes because of their mistakes. Thus, if you think investing is a good opportunity to earn money, then you'd rather have to take it seriously and act wisely. Bitcoin is future coins. Now most of the people using the bitcoins. It any time use and any time exchange. So people any where to use the bitcoins. It future of the coins. Bitcoins contact the most of the people. So people save the bitcoins for the future investment and future savings.

I can't speak on his behalf and I do not know OP and maybe he is lying or maybe he is telling the truth. But I can tell you that Bitcoin did changed my life and I did more than double my investment in bitcoin. Which is why I love it so much, it allowed me to go from poverty and bottom life to a life of "ease".

I am in no means a rich person, I still have to pay so much and I am barely surviving these days because of some personal things, but at the end of the day I have some money saved aside and if I ever wanted to use that, I would be able to just simply sell them and I would pay everything and have a great few more months on top of it. But many people who may fail make them more and more assets even they may lose bitcoins. Indeed practicing patience in crypto is very difficult, it takes a long time to master it. Well, its hard to make profit 3x these days as bitcoin value has remained below $50k, but if you invested bitcoin when it was lower than the current value, most likely you are profiting today. You are really lucky if what you said is perfectly happening to you, because as far as i know most of the traders nowadays are not profiting as high as  before. Not too ago we were trading much below $10k and the price rallied this much in the past one year alone. OP shared his experience. You were not there when it happened, even if it did not happen I do not see how what he shared should be a problem. It will be a problem only if he is going to ask someone to give him money to trade for him. Without that, no problem. After all people write fictions. Another thing is that you have to know that because someone is a newbie here does not mean they do not have knowledge about trading or bitcoin. That was a mistake I made before thinking  it was so. Besides not everyone fails at everything they do and OP may be one of such exceptional case. What I think we would have done with his story is to ask him to share his trading formula with us and not to doubt him.

kudos for your ability to recover by trading Bitcoin. This means it is possible to make appreciable profit if you know what you are doing. Though you did not mention the trading pairs (BTC/USDT?), and other additional info about the trading so that other people can try it out.  Note that trading is a high risk activity - trade only with what you can afford to loose.

Maybe sharing fake stories was a big deal to them, just let them be but even if the op's story is really fake, this type of story still do exist and happens on many people.
