These services do nothing more than sell your cryptos and send a bank transfer. I think you can do that yourself. Especially when you see the fees they charge (up to 7%). At least you don't have to ask to yourself to do an identity check (kyc). CryptoRefills The service doesn't have an option to pay a bill. The few in that list that do indeed can help pay your bills ask for KYC, you need to get your biller bank account, you need to pay the extra fees (although SEPA is indeed cheap) and you have to pay the fees hidden in the price spread plus the tx fee on sending coins. I don't see any advantage in using one currently, you can pay with a card in seconds in your provider app or you could set up a direct debit payment, I have this with my ISP, mobile, electricity, and gas providers, I get an alert 3 days in advance that my bill is issued and if I don't ask my bank to hold my payment it gets paid automatically from my account (zero fees). I could see this working in a country where people don't have bank accounts, but, obviously, these services are not available there. Also, form metamouse: Quote FAQ Who is paying for my invoice? As far as the new Thai SEC directive is concerned, I'm not sure if coins.co.th is covered by that. It depends on the implementing rules of the directive. Actually, if I'm not mistaken, users are not really paying with cryptocurrencies to pay their bills. Their bills are actually paid in fiat and coins.co.th is only acting as an exchange of their crypto to fiat. So perhaps coins.co.th could argue that crypto is actually not being used as a payment method. Yeah, I also haven't heard of a single utility company which directly accepts Bitcoin payment. But what I meant to point out was that those payment centers who are accepting Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will definitely stop such service the moment the new directive is implemented. However, in the case of coins.co.th, they could probably say they are not really accepting crypto as payment. Since they are a registered exchange they are converting their clients' crypto before making the payment. It's a shame for the Indonesian state that bitcoin can't be used as a means of payment. Even though bitcoin is legal in Indonesia. that's as far as I know. still companies like Namecheap amazon or Gyft can be a solution for Indonesian citizens to shop with bitcoin even if indirectly. like buying shopping vouchers from Gyft with bitcoin so that later we can shop with these vouchers at retailers that don't support bitcoin as payment. and many other solutions. as long as there is a will there is a way Title: Re: [LIST] Pay bills with crypto Post by: SFR10 on March 30, 2022, 09:16:11 PM If you know of any other services where you can pay bills using cryptocurrencies, then let me know.
