So let's go ahead.

Quick identification: All tokens I don't know the source of are scams. This means I don't get it through purchases from the official site (or other sites that are redirected from the official site), by work, or dividend distribution. With this kind of total supply, it will be easy to identify. Token creators won't propagate via offers instead of dropping them directly to multiple addresses. You can also use https://honeypot.is to detect smart contract malicious code.

useful guide for novices.
I use a fairly quick and equally effective method ... it consists in verifying the contract address on coinmarketcap or coingecko and contract of transaction in my wallet.
in general, with a few exceptions that can be counted on the fingers of one hand, almost all the tokens that arrive as a gift are scams or simply without any value...

If I didn't buy, I shouldn't get. That's my watch word and it has kept me out of getting scammed. What gets many victims roped in is "greed". Yes, individual greed has often been individual's greatest undoing. I don't even bother to look at tokens I know I didn't purchase. It was later I got to know that such tokens could be malware. if only people would trust in themselves not to be unnecessarily greedy they will be fine and out of scammers league. To beat scammers, try not to be greedy. That should be a little unwritten law for everyone.

I give you an easy spot.

If you receive the token in your BSC Address ~XD It's really simple as that, because you are randomly get a token you don't know and scammer always use a smart contract bot. Every time you are doing a new transaction, you will get a random scam tokenn.

So just ignore any token.

the above method really helps us as BSC users to avoid more and more scam tokens on the BSC platform and actually the easiest thing when we want to get a scam token or not is to visit the official website or token project social group so that we can get a valid token address and we can match before buying tokens.

I use coingecko
https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/binance-usd
This service has a convenient button to add to metamask. If a scam token with the same name was sent to your wallet, you will not see real tokens in your wallet. In Explorers, you can select any service and view all data about the smart contract

Especially the ones that got created a day or few days after an event occur, e.g will Smith inu, it is very clear this is a scam project, even of you get it for free don't waste your time with it.
A project that was created a day or 2 days after a certain thing(s) happened was not planned for, it is temporary and don't have a future. The only goal with such projects is to scam or rug pull.

They are SCAM TOKEN AIRDROP (https://www.bsc.news/post/what-are-scam-airdrop-tokens-on-binance-smart-chain-and-why-are-they-so-prevalent) and this even started last year.
We can see the transactions are failed and that was to imply that they are scams in nature.
This tactic doesn't even get my attention, in fact, we don't buy any of them and so, therefore, we never expect them to arrive. And pretty obvious they don't have a market value, apparently they are just a scam tokens.

maybe this one is very good but too complicated for beginners, but I'm very happy if people like you give hints like this and help beginners whose wallets are often hacked

You can also use https://honeypot.is to detect smart contract malicious code.
and I recently found out and found a website to detect the coin is a scam or not and I am very very grateful for the knowledge

I use coingecko
https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/binance-usd

But not all tokens on BSC are listed on Binance. I have seen alot of them and some are only listed on pancakeswap and no where else. In a situation like that what do you do? This activity of scammers is becoming too often and am starting to hate tokens on BSC.

This service has a convenient button to add to metamask. If a scam token with the same name was sent to your wallet, you will not see real tokens in your wallet. In Explorers, you can select any service and view all data about the smart contract

This may not be any problem because there are some real tokens I bought which are not yet showing in my wallet but I know later they will show. It has been like that in most cases with every new BSC tokens I bought before.

To make transactions or swaps, you will have to approve access to the key of your wallet. One of method from scammers is airdrop their scam tokens to you. If you approve access, they can use backdoor to steal fund in that wallet.

Even if you don't touch scam tokens, you should revoke all addresses which can spend your token with https://app.unrekt.net/. Do it regularly in order to be safe.

Ideally, don't touch scam tokens airdropped to your wallet, don't click on approve button.

I don't understand much about token dusting, but your post wants to be detailed enough to explain how to find out token dusting through the smart contract, generally all I know is that token scam or dusting only has a name that has a domain name like token.io but, after seeing this I understand , that when we see the total supply is less than the tokens we can or circulate it is tantamount to token dusting.

Another tip: If you know your wallet is entering a scam or dusting token, immediately replace it with a new wallet and move all your assets.

I often encounter this dusting token in my wallet, actually I thought it was the result of an airdrop that I got, but my friend told me never to transact with that token, after that I got this very useful post.
Now I understand that the supply of token dusting is a manipulation from bad people who want to steal wallet access, by sending more tokens than the total supply and even the estimation is very high from wallet bots.

It's free, what do you expect. I was once invited to that kind of scheme. He said I just need a trust wallet application and add the contract address to my portfolio then the coin will be given. I did receive a coin and I was even surprised at the amount but when I checked it, its less than a dust.  ;D
This is all just a waste of time so I stopped doing it. Betting in lottery have a higher chance to win than waiting for this coins that was created just for fun or scams to have a value.

- If it has dozens of comments saying this coin is a scam, then it's a scam coin. The keyword here is: dozens, if it's just few of comments saying that like 2 - 3 comments then you should not believe that because they are probably bots or something. Have been looking at these comments when I got my first scam token through pancakeswap.

https://i.imgur.com/u7Yr5d3.png

- If you got those tokens where you don't know its source and not involved into those projects, then the chance of those tokens are scam is 100% because there is no way people send stuff randomly something that you don't even know what the hell even that is.

What I recommended above and your advice are useful if scammers don't steal your crypto quickly. If they are too professional and have bots to detect successfully compromise wallets, your crypto will be stolen too quickly as well.

Consequently, unrekt or move fund to another wallet won't help.

Therefore the best is let's do prevention first. Don't touch unknown tokens airdropped to your wallet. Especially never touch if they are tokens without logo. BSC or Trust wallet, for example, will do their own research and investigation then will approve token logo. It is only a tip of iceberg because even a token has an approved logo, it does not mean they are not scam token.

Your write-up is actually very helpful for everyone especially those who are so interested in airdrops and ignore the security of their wallets. I stay away from airdrops as much as I can especially those that don't have any tangible project to work on. Also any token in my wallet that doesn't require my input is regarded as scam and I don't consider it a part of my holdings.

Something that is free without doing work that is not in accordance with the results you receive you should think about it again. This is a year that probably more and more scammers will continue to appear in the future. Different 5 years ago its better about the work you do earn a good income.

When viewed in general in the crypto space, scammers have always existed and are still living in the crypto environment by trying to create new traps for everyone and one of them is sending tokens for free into all other people's wallets so that everyone can be very curious about their actions they are.

This content is very useful. I was very skeptical about investing in a new Fidebox token. And I was very worried about detecting fraud and discovering investment opportunities.
I can now safely focus on my favorite assets.

The current scam schemes send tokens in bulk to random addresses, , some scam tokens duplicate top altcoins to trap victims, but this scam token is easily indicated because the scam tokens have no project detail information, no logo, no liquidity, lots of failed transaction history in bscscan.
